I had surgery with Dr. Richard Ellenbogen and he ruined my face. Without my consent, he put fat in the sides of my cheeks. I only gave him permission to put fat transfer in the sides of my mouth. My face is uneven, bumpy, and looks horrible. I have told Dr. Ellenbogen of my dissatisfaction, and his solution was another surgery. After the second surgery, things worsened and I looked even more horrible. I never sued Dr. Ellenbogen, but I should have. I have no recorse at this point, but to complain and warn others. He also gave me a forehead lift at age 33 which left me scared and bald. He never disclosed that I would forever be bald in the front of my head.

Ellenbogen also gave me an uneven rynoplasty and again, did not care about my complaint. He has offered me no money for any repair surgery. The before is me with blonde hair and the after is with black hair.

I went to Ellenbogen for lipo in my ab area. By the time I left, he had me feeling so bad about my face that I had signed up for facial surgery. I liked my face, but Ellenbogen told me how bad it looked. I only wanted lipo, which I never got! He destroyed my face: He took the cartilage out of my nose and collapsed my bridge totally and I have no bridge. He severely distorted my columella of my nose. He tried to give me a lip lift and cut the muscle and I can no longer smile at all! He removed my jaw implant and did not replace it. He tried to give me a corner lip lift and never even used a suture. He just cut the sides and left them! When he worked on my nose, he used an open approach and then spread my nose wide when he sewed it back. The surgical booking gal told me after she quit working for him that he has lost his skills and when he did my surgery, he got frustrated and just WALKED OUT and didn't finish. HE DIDN'T FINISH! When I went for my follow ups, he said "No one is using cartilage or silicone or implants in the nose anymore." HE LIED TO ME. I have no bridge on my nose. NONE. He gave me a song and dance and said he could refer me to someone else to fix it all. Remember, all I wanted was lipo and I never got it. DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY. His former surgery booker worked there 6 months and quit because she could not recommend him to patients anymore. She has a conscience. I have stayed in touch with her through the years and she says he hired someone to get all the negative stuff off the Internet about him. She said he is a sociopath and narcissist and doesn't care about his patients and he is too old to be doing surgery, but he likes young girls, so he keeps doing it. Look at his Facebook page. He is dating a young Irish girl he calls his "Irish Rose" so all his old crony male friends can be jealous of him. He dumped his young, blonde wife. His ex wife lives in Mexico and she dumped him because he couldn't keep it in his pants. I wish I knew then what I have learned since he botched my face. Don't believe the good reviews on Realself.com. They are put there by his PR guy. And the pics he posts on that page are old plastic surgery pictures. You can tell by the hair styles. This guy claims he did Lana Turner's face. THAT'S how old he is. But he will make you feel like he is a god. Don't fall for it. The man has zero talent and does not care. He never offered to fix what he did to me and made excuses like, "Oh, well most people come to me to have their implants removed anyway. So you probably would have had them removed at some point." NOT TRUE. I was very happy with my face and implants. HE is the one who said he could replace them and make them better. He has been sued for letting a surgical tech sew up a woman after breast implant surgery and she poked a hole in the implant and it leaked. He lets interns do his work and they have no idea what they are doing. DO NOT go to a surgeon who has interns and residents! They will let them do the surgery and you don't need to be the Guinea pig. This man is criminal.

I went to Dr Ellenbogen and he promised he could remove the fat under my eyes and make me look better even showed me on his computer how I would look. On the computer I did look better so I trusted him and said to go ahead and do the surgery. Not only do I not look better, I look worse! My eyes are uneven and my eyes are hollow underneath. I wish I would have never gone with this Dr. he has the manners of a pig. If any one is thinking of using this Dr please, please do not believe a word he says.
