0 Votes distributed by Life Labs International of Miami FL is a bunch of crooks using the "free" sample (just pay $3.97 for S&H) as a bait to get your credit card number and start charging it some crazy sums (at $1.54 per pill) as if it was a patented medicine. The main ingredient in this stuff is 5 mg of melatonin (overdose compared to regular 3 mg which can be bought at $0.05 per pill). After ordering a "free" sample I received an additional 3 mos supply with a charge of extra about $140! A nice trial sample. Had to do to Post Office to ship it back for $7.50, but still under the threat of being charged by these ripoff artists to the sum of about $40! Stir away from these crooks!

The Dormanex people are crooks. It's going to cost you $36.00 in re-stocking fees to try their "free" product which doesn't work. If you want melatonin, go to the health food store. These people have no conscience.

Always read the terms and conditions before you agree to anything! I've finally learned to do this. It confirms exactly what they are going to do and makes it legal.
It's true their ad is very misleading. Your "free" sample comes automatically with a 6 months supply that they will bill to your credit card. You then have to return it at your expense if you don't want it. There was something mentioned about a restocking fee. I didn't need to read any more. I got out of there!

Yes, Dormanex are crooks. Though the terms and conditions state that there will be a restocking fee of $5.95 per box, it was not explained that there was going to be a huge box for each supply of 14 pills! This winds up costing $36.00 plus the cost of postage to return the stuff. In any event the stuff doesn't even work !! Very bad business --- stay away !!!

I didn't see where they automatically ship you a supply (and it is not six months worth) and then it hits your credit card. That is just wrong!

This company is a real scam. They tell you that you will get a 14 day supply, then ship you that plus a 3 month supply and if you want to return it they will charge you a restocking fee of $5.95 per box (which is 6 boxes)

This company is a rip off. Plus the stuff does not work!

DON'T GET ROPED IN LIKE I WAS... you are not told any of this when you sign up.

this product did not work and then a couple days ago I got charged $149.95 for a supply I didnt order unless i didnt read the terms when i ordered the trial size and paid shipping and handling on it only. I though that for awhile then these charges appeared on my bank statement. I havent recieved the order for $149.95 yet by mail. Can I ship this order back for my money?I even changed my banking account as this company wasnt the only one that did this.

I requested the free trial - I received a hugh shipment and tried the product. The product did not work for me. I contacted the company today to find out why I was charged 159.35 against my checking account. The rep took my name and phone number and said someone would be calling me back. We will see if they do.
I will have no choice but to contact a legal service if no action is taken.

This is a ripoff!!! I did the same thing as those above and tried a "free trial" for shipping costs of $3.97 and even used a PayPal secure card for the payment. Evidently the secure card was good for a month because they charged another $167 for the other 5 packages they shipped with the sample. If you don't read the fine print, they'll get you. I just got off the phone with them and they're going to accept the remaining 5 unopened packages and charge me and also charge me an additional $19.97, which comes to $49.72, plus I have to pay for return shipping.

Where do we file a complaint to get this ripoff terminated?

From personal experience, I can say that these people are crooks. My experience with this company has been similar to those mentioned above. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and they were very helpful. I suggest that others do the same.

This is incredible, so all is explained in the terms and conditions, and you are all winning about it?

I agree, that re-stocking fees are problematic, but they were explained on the terms and conditions. Hey if you dont before, dont complain.

But so you known, I went in the site, and no more boxes are being sent besides the free trial kit.
Furthermore, $101.00 was dropped from my account, as it was all of the accounts above.

People, it is an authorization, the BANK hold the amount, not the company.

The product worked for me, and I will buy the other supply.

This company is a SCAM!. I also ordered the "Free" sample for $3.97. Within 2 days I had a charge for $3.97 plus for a charge of $101.00!
I emailed several times and called twice. They did take the $101.00 off. But they never responded!
Now, about a month later, I get notice that Dormanex has charged $159.00 to my account.
I called and they beat around the bush, furtunately I was able to get in touch with my credit card company and they stopped the
authorization and I had to cancel that card and oreder a new one because they would try again.

Please, everyone REPORT THEM TO THE Better Business Bureau!!!

What you are missing on the Terms and Conditons Anthony, is that the restocking fee only applies IF you don't cancel before it is shipped. If you cancel within the 14 days, you owe nothing. This is fraud!! I sent and svaed 7 emails, all by day 3 of my trial. I called their Customer Service 6 times and left a message with a voicemail. I tried to get into to their 24 hour online Customer Chat Service and "they were away...leave a message. I like the other received a box today and I am FURIOUS!!! We are protected as consumers against housing and lending fraud but what about the fly by night, crooks who slip in under the radar!!!

I only wanted to pay for the shipping of the free product. They put me on autoship. I never saw anything on the e-mail that said I had 14 days to cancel. They are charging about $6 a bottle for restocking fee on each of six bottles. What can I do, I need help.

I have never ordered anything from this company or even looked at their website, yet they started charging me, first a small charge of 7.46, then .01 a few days later and then a whopping 156! I tried to contact the company through both email and phone but got no answer to either. On top of that, numerous other strange charges started showing up on my credit card...which I wouldn't be surprised to see being associated with these folks.

I see they sell some herbal crap with no real active if I was interested in anything like that...

I would say "stay away", but it looks like they will charge I've got to go through the PITA of changing my credit card number...

I too got ripped off by this site. It's true that it does say on there that if the trial isn't cancelled within the 14 days that they will send and charge you for a 6 month supply, but, the practice they use is sneaky and underhanded. "Usually" before you can submit or sign up for anything, you have to check the box that says that you have read and understood the conditions or terms of the contract, but, THIS website had that box automatically checked already, therefore you're not warned to read it before you submit for your so called "trial" sleep aid. I was first charged for the $3.97 for the shipping and handling and then I noticed that my card was charged $159.35 for the 6 month supply! Since I wasn't aware that amount was coming out of my account, it caused my account to be overdrawn which started a chain reaction and now my bank has charged me $315 in overdraft fees! I googled dormanex to find a phone number to call and clicked on the first site which said but when I clicked on it, it brought me to a site with a product called Sleep Once Again! So I scrolled to the bottom of the page and found an 866 phone number to call and cancel my "so called subscription" and was told that it was a customer support line for an ADULT PORN SITE! When I said...ummm I ordered a sleep aid...nothing else! Then they said, well we do support other sites so hold on and he put me on hold. By the way, the first thing he asked for was my credit card number to "look" up my account. He supposedly couldn't find any record for me so he told me to call another 866 number (FWM Laboratories) which I was on hold forever and got tired of holding and hung up. I called my bank to change my debit card because I DO NOT want these people having my debit card number and they gave me another number to call that they have on their files. So I called them and just as many of you, I was told that if I return the 6 boxes unopened, that I will be refunded $103.68 because they charge $55.67 in restocking fees. I think she said it was like $5.95 per box and then $20 something for shipping and handling.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They could be legit, but their practices and the way they conduct business ARE NOT!

This company qualifies for an investigation for scamming, given their "sales" tactics. We just got hit with an unauthorized charge of 153.99 for stuff we never even ordered. The so-called sleep aid is junk you'd be better off buying at a health food store.

This company is a rip-0ff, I ordered the free trial and
gave them my credit card number for a one dollar
shipping fee and was charged 159.35 on my credit card the next month. I moved during this time and never received any product of anykind and have no
telephone number to question these charges. The credit card company is having problems getting in touch with anyone and I am still being charged for something that I definitely don't have and never asked for, or ordered from anyone. I hope these people
are charged and jailed for what they are doing to
    decent people.
