Dooney & Bourke Refund

I've been waiting on a refund since the beginning of January this year. It's been 3 months and still I haven't received my money back. I've placed countless calls to customer service, been told numerous times that a supervisor would call be back, which never happened. This has been my worst experience with any company. Extremely unprofessional! I feel as if these people are making zero effort to get my situation resolved. I would NEVER buy anything with the name "Dooney and Bourke" on it, even if it's for free. I feel cheated and undervalued as customer, and I think I'm well within my rights to pursue legal action against this company. Disgusted!

Dooney & Bourke Handbag

I returned an ostrich handbag that turned green in spots. I received a letter giving me credit for half of what the bag cost. There were stipulations as to how I can spend the credit. I cannot spend below a certain amount and I cannot apply credit to sale prices or limited edition items.

If your product is not good why not honor it without the stipulations. I do not want to spend money, I would have liked for the bag to be replaced with another product of similarity. LOL! Looks like it is all about the dollar. Stand behind the product and do better. I read reviews on line and others have had the same letter sent. If you give credit make it a true credit and allow us to apply it as we would like. The way you do it tells me that you really do not care about your customers. It is all about your company making money.

Desired outcome: Let me spend my credit without stipulations!!!

Dooney & Bourke Returns

Ordered 1 purse, got it, didn't like it and returned. Bought another one from them and like it very much. Problem is they were too slow to refund money back to my account. It's been 15 days and is still not in there. Their excuse : backlog of returns right now. NOT ACCEPTABLE ! They didn't have a problem with charging my card $7.50 more for returning item label (shipping). It is just the $360.00 they are having trouble with, putting back in my account. Give me a break ! No more orders for them

Dooney & Bourke Purse

My girlfriend ordered a purse from Dooney & Bourke. When it arrived, there was an obvious flaw in the leather. There was a line where the color had a obvious change, as if there was a problem with the dye or something like that. She contacted them immediately requesting a replacement, but they said that they could not do that. They suggested she send it back to them at her cost for shipping and they will take a look at it and see if there was anything they could do.

Dooney & Bourke Customer service and the hoax dooneypay.

I placed an order for a bag on dooneypay. I took a snapshot of the computer screen with my payment info. It said you paid $81.84. Remaining balance is $171.75. Dooney took the full amount from my bank without my authorization. I called today after waiting on hold over twenty minutes and was told nothing we can do. I made second call and the woman was very rude! No help extreme rude! Not worth the hassle! The bag has not yet been shipped.

I about them double billing my account the girl on the phone said "well that is our policy". I called again to pay it off and the agents was ride again. NEVER AGAIN. I will not shop at dooney and burke online.

Dooney & Bourke Terrible customer service

Email provided on official website does not work no email updates with purchase or return when calling them they have clueless people answer which can't get you into contact with anyone who can help. My purchase was returned without even getting to me no return/refund confirmation! I still wanted the item however it was no longer on sale also discontinued and out of stock! Now I just want my refund.

Dooney & Bourke Never received order that I placed in august

I still have not received my order #DB02841205. I tried to call your customer service number several times and it says you aren't taking calls due to the high call volume. I have also emailed but it said that it was not a valid address. I would like a refund to my card as soon as possible or I will take legal action. Please advise immediately on this matter.

Dooney & Bourke Blakely tammy tote white & grey logos

I bought this Tammy Tote less than 30 days ago. I used this tote for less than a month and it is pulling the dye from my clothing and making the leather look really bad. I do not buy cheap clothing and funny my clothing does not bleed on any other bag I own. I own numerous Michael Kors and Louis Vutton purses light in color and/or white, etc. I have never had a problem cleaning the leather until Dooney & Bourke. I bought the bag because it is light and was good for my trip to CA, just the right size to carry, etc. I have tried to clean the purse according to the instruction on the site; however, this does nothing with this type of leather. I am so frustrated that I spoke to my daughter who informed me that this is why no one buys Dooney & Bourke anymore because the quality is really bad. This coming from my 30 year old daughter - where was she when I was making this purchase ugh. Now I have a 298.00 purse that is basically ready for the garbage unless I can clean it as I would not be caught dead carrying this purse as it is. We are going to try Michael Kors leather cleaner and if that does not work I will be throwing away. Dooney told me this is not abnormal but nothing they can do. Dillards where I bought the bag with the supposed warranty told me this is how all white purses/bag do . . . WTF um NO! I would not spend my hard earned money again on this product - extremely sad and sickening that a company can be so lax about their products.

Dooney & Bourke Received damaged product

I waited nearly a month for my Editor Tote to arrive - up until 1 week prior to arrival I did not hear anything from Dooney & Bourke. When I received the bag, it had to major damages - some peeled off leather because of a sticky tape sticked onto the leather and a ditch in the handle. A company of this standard should never send bags like this, the quality control is very poor and I do not trust Dooney & Bourke anymore.

I sent Dooney & Bourke three emails so far, no one has replied to any of them within 5 days now. As an Australian, this is especially hard for me, I can't just stay up until midnight so I can talk to someone from the support. But I did that as well! The support on the chat was not helpful at all and did not react to any of the things I said, I still assume that this was a robot that talked to me - or at least I hope that cause that person only knew like 10 sentences in total and two of them were "I am sorry" and "I apologise" - props to Iris Robinson who told me she will escalate the matter and only sent me a return badge.

Since I had to wait for such a long time for the bag, I am not willing to wait another month for returning this bag until I get my money for then ordering the bag again and waiting a second month to receive it. I had to wait some time for the Mother's Day Sale to finally get it - cause you do not honour the 10% off for signing up for the newsletter or the 20% off for students for your customers in Australia and I am a student with a $98k debt. I really needed a bag for university and I am not willing to carry around laptop and books in a plastic bag anymore, I have waited for so long.

I really do like the layout, it is perfect and light. And I would love to keep that bag.

Solution:
- I repair the bag in an Australian store and you fully refund me for the repair, that way I do not have to wait another 2 months - I get a new leather at the front and one new handle.
- You send me express a new bag and I will continue using this bag until I receive the new one and afterwards send it back.

Dooney & Bourke already let me down in so many things, let's see how much worse this can get.

Dooney & Bourke Florentine

I will never ever carry a dooney product. I had a bag break within 3 weeks of owning it. And because I was slightly over the time to return it because they refused and ignored my emails they are trying to give me a credit for 2/3rds of what I paid. All because they wouldn't just replace the bag to begin with and wanted to only repair it. I have been accused of carrying the purse longer after it broke, I have been ridiculed on the phone because I used the dooney pay, and I have been argued with by 3 different people in their customer service department. Which is completely inadequate because I called yesterday and they said they did not receive my bag but the same day I had a letter from them offering the crap offer. So they also dont have it together or like to lie. And they wouldn't transfer me higher and i'm waiting on a call back because I want to deal with this nightmare even longer! Their products are junk and their morals and customer service are even worse!

Dooney & Bourke Product quality/ terrible customer service

I have owned Dooney and Bourke bags for 30 years. Purchased a handbag a year and a half ago that I use primarily when I travel. apparently the handbag was defective. Recently when out of town, the strap that holds the shoulder strap broke. Since I was out of town, I had it repaired.When I returned home I sent it in to Dooney for them to repair properly. They said they would NOT repair it and that they would give me $99 toward another bag for $200 or more and it could not be on sale or discounted.I called in to the company twice and they refused to anything further or repair my bag. I have purchased their bags for 30+ years and they have lost a customer. They were not at all pleasant.
My two issues with Dooney and Bourke are:
#1- Terrible customer service. Unwilling to help a customer or address their concerns.
#2 After a year and and half of light use, I now question the quality and workmanship of their handbags.

Dooney & Bourke Terrible customer service

A bought a purse on the 12 days of Christmas and weeks later they said it was discontinued. I asked for the same purse but in a different color and they said no. Terrible customer service. I was a longtime customer since the 80s. No more I'll buy other purses now. I guess they make so much money they don't care about their loyal customers. Goodby dooney.

Dooney & Bourke Dooney pay

I order a wallet and matching Brielle bag as a Christmas gift on Dooney Pay. The first payment came out of my account with no problem. The second payment did not, even though I use that same credit card daily. The third and final payment did not come out and I got my first nasty email notifying me of nonpayment and threatening my credit rating. I immediately sent an email to find out what was going on and offer to submit another card since they were the only ones having trouble with a world MasterCard. I called customer service and was assured it was easily taken care of and that Dooney valued my 30+ years loyalty to the brand. I ask if I could return the items and not be reminded of this most unpleasant experience every time I saw this purse. I was told it was longer than 30 days and it could not be returned. Thanks Dooney for ruining my Christmas and ending a 30+ year history. A week later another threatening email delivered on Sunday, prompted me to call customer service again. I was told that I was the nicest angry customer and assured me that no other card was necessary and that my credit rating would not be effected. Now today I received my third notice of nonpayment and notice it will be turned over to a collections agency. I have order four Brahmin bags since this fiasco and used the same world MasterCard with no problem. When people notice the purse I use the opportunity to explain customer loyalty to a brand and customer service gone wrong. I want to get this mess straightened out once and for all with no negative impact on my credit rating. If you treat every customer as poorly as you treat your loyal customers it will not take long for the word to spread.

Ordered Xmas gift, it was ordered on Nov 27, not delivered till Jan 7. Got it late and it is a fake. No Dooney and Bourke anywhere on the purse.

Dooney & Bourke db f/w18 sac [protected]

My husband purchased the bag at Disney which is a limited to pass holders only during the food and wine festival, I wasn't pleased with the quality of the making of this bag because your name and the price of the bag I would think it should be made more professional to match the design to the side seams in both side, this bag has half of the Disney characters body sew at the seam with another half of another character that doesn't match, to me the material should have been cut first to match the sides before it is sew together to make sense. Dry disappointment

I do not remember the date of purchase, but the purse was registered by Jacqueline Harrington. My address is 3419 River Drive, Unit A, Columbia, South Carolina. Dooney & Bourke Service regarding exchange

I placed an order for 3 of the Patent Leisure Shopper Bags - (2 of the colors were not available for viewing online) the last time you had a 20% off sale. I kept one, returned one and requested an exchange for the Ivory color. Once received, I noticed that I was charged the full price….not the sale price of the bag I was exchanging it with. I called customer service who told me that they would not honor the sales price and could/would not help me, I then told them that I would be returning the bag as I had expected the sales price and asked for help with the return at which point I was told I would just have to return it on my own.
Honestly, this was my first order from Dooney, I love the bag I kept. I had always heard that they make great quality bags….I just can't believe the customer service is so poor.

Dooney & Bourke Customer service

On April 20, 2018 at approx. 7pm I was purchasing a bag at the Tanger Outlet in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. I ask the clerk did they have a police or first responder discount, before she could comment the manager very rudely said "we only do military discounts". My complaint is not because she said we only do military discounts my complaint is because of the way she said it. She commented on a question that was asked of the clerk and not her and she was very rude with the response, based on her rudeness I chose not to purchase the bag. I'm sure the clerk informed her as to why we didn't purchase the bag and I'm sure she didn't care. I wea would hope that you would inform your employees that first responders put their lives on the line fussy like the military. I as m not expecting Dooney & Bourke to change as he their discount policy, but I hope that they train their employees to respect everyone regardless of how they protect the public. Had the manager said something like "unfortunately we on do military discounts", I would no be filing this complaint. Some people should not be in positions that interact with the public. Thank you

Dooney & Bourke Replacement straps

For the past 4 days I'm been trying to order replacement straps on a Nina Pebble Leather bag that a dog chewed up. From contacting them via their Facebook page and being misdirected to their links as apparently they don't know their own product line. Then being forwarded to the Customer Service (Iris Robinson) who apparently doesn't know the meaning of service as I had to email her 4 times enquiring how to go about ordering the straps

Her response : If the leather is available then you will told whether there is a charge or not. - Still doesn't want to tell me how I go about doing that. She forgets I want to purchase straps and then wants me to send in the bag so the straps match. She's quite clueless about the product line herself as the sienna colored straps are all the same color on the different colored bags. I'm explaining their product to them at this point. 4 days later this still hasn't been resolved. Complete [censor] show.

Dooney & Bourke Poor quality

I purchased a small Dooney & Bourke crossbody purse 4 mo ago. I have gently used it only a handful of times. The leather strap simply came unstitched two days ago, threads hanging off of the leather strap. This caused the loop holding the strap to the eyelet on the side of purse to come undone, and the strap to be disconnected from the purse on one side. It is completely broken.
I carry only a small wallet, phone and key in this small bag, and it broke after 5 gentle uses.
This is obviously poor workmanship, and not in line with the $100 price tag of the bag, unless it wears nicely for years.
Don't buy a Dooney bag unless you want to endure the aggravation of poor workmanship repairs.

The fabric surrounding the zippers on my City Double Zip Wallet has pilled after only 6 weeks of gentle (3 days a week) use.

The one-year warranty program is onerous -- one needs to send the item to the Repair Department and wait 2-4 weeks for a determination as to whether the item is covered by the warranty and receive information regarding the cost of repair. There doesn't appear to be a replacement policy.

I suspect that if I had purchased this item at a brick and mortar store, the item would have been accepted for return immediately and without as much fuss as D&B is making.

Dooney & Bourke Purse

I bought a dooney and bourke bag for $140 and it got yellow after few times of usage. I sent the bag back since according to their fake policy they have to replace it. Well, they do not replace it actually! They force you to buy another bag at least $140 (cannot be sale item) where they will pay $70 of it and you also pay $7.50 for shipping. It is a rip-off! I did not know the bag was really plastic! I thought it was leather. Do not waste your money and don't ever buy dooney&bourke! There are very high quality items with a different brand name that are leather (coach for example). Do not be ripped-off like me!
