Doney and Bourke / customer trade in program
On September 3 2018 I ordered the All Weather Leather Carrier 2 handbag in the T'marrow brown with the british tan leather trim when I received the bag the right corner was not smooth like the rest but it looked ok I used it for 2 days and saw that they dye was coming off, it was turning a white and then almost black on that corner
so I called customer service and was advised to return the bag for a replacement I only had it 5 days. This is where the nightmare began I get an email that they are checking the bag and a decision will be made so I call and I speak to a manager named Jenny Villanu and she asks "did you try and clean this bag" I replied no she went on to say that when people return bags that look like mine it is because something was spilled on it and it was cleaned. I told her with 100% honesty I did not clean it but I did take it out when it was raining but after having it for 5 days it should not look like that regardless well she rudely informed me that I would not be given a replacement or a refund but they would give me a trade in credit.REALLY so you want me to pay you over $350 for the same bag that I had for 5 days NO send me back my bag and I will have it fixed myself and you lost a customer and I filed a complaint with the BBB. She was rude and very accusatory towards me of ruining the bag. This is a ripoff program because you have to use the credit towards a full price handbag of more value that what you paid for the original item. Keeping in mind that their bags have become nothing but poor workmanship they use to be a good company but now they have gone down the tubes.
