Don Schomber review: Complete Thug and Scam Artist

Don Schomber is as unprofessional as they come. He was sub contracted to do concrete work at my home while I was having a pool put in. I wanted some extra concrete put in and was given a price, which he said he would reduce If I paid cash. I felt comfortable with his offer so I told him he was hired for the additional work. The morning he was supposed to start the work he shows up and starts telling me he has to charge more money then he originally quoted. I couldn't believe he would pull a good ole bait and switch like that, I then went on to explain to him that I hired him at the original price and I felt it was incredibly unprofessional to show up the day of the job after we already had an agreement and demand more money. Well, he didn't seem to care and told me he was only going to do the original work order that the General Contractor hired him to do. I told him that I didn't feel comfortable with him at all at this point and asked him to leave the property. He refused to leave for 10-15 minutes because he wanted to stand in the street in front of my house and harass me for kicking him off the job. This 64 year old man really stood in front of my house cursing at me and threatening me like a common thug. What makes matters worse is he did all this while my wife and 2 year old daughter were right there scared and frightened. I finally told him he had to leave or I was going to call the police and his response was "I know all the police, I'll have them throw you in jail." Wow... I can't believe this guy is in business and he talks to customers like this. All I can say is If you hear the name DON SCHOMBER - DON'T LET HIM NEAR YOUR HOME. In my opinion he is a SCAM ARTIST AND A BULLY and should be put out of business...
