Domino's Pizza can I order a pizza some time tonight?

I was ringing to order a pizza, somebody answers, I can hear the words "hang on" (talking to someone else) and I'm hung up on. I then ring up asking if it's common practice there to hang up on customers and get hung up on a second time. LOL. What **** service. Go to hell you ****er. The sad thing is, I still want pizza... it's hard to boycott a place just cause of one employee. I hope he gets fired. Seriously.

I ordered a pizza three weeks ago from Domino's Balcatta store in Perth, WA. While I was ordering it by phone, the man told me that i could not pay by credit card as their system was down. I said I didn't have cash so wanted to cancel the order. 1 1/2 hours later at 11pm at night while my lights were off and I was in bed someone banged on the door and it was someone with pizza's. I told him it was canceled and he made a apology and left. I contacted them last night to order some pizza's when i had friends over and they stated that I had to come down to the store and pre-paid as i had been black listed due to the above incident. This is the worst and most unprofessional service i have EVER got . I will NEVER be going back to DOMINOS!

Domino's Pizza driver complaint

Tonight at 7pm, I was driving south on Unser Blvd from Ouray to 98th Street. I noticed a white vehicle behind me that was very close to my vehicle (about 1 car lenght). I was driving the 45 mph speed limit in the left lane (I was turning left soon). I turned east on 98th Street to go to the Walgreens The car had a Dominos Pizza logo on top of the car. I followed the car to the take out location at that intersection and saw the white Mazda pull up to the curb in front of the Dominos and the driver went inside.
I went inside and asked for the manager. The guy at the register said, "I guess that's him, " pointing to a guy that was about 17 years old. The guy asked if he could help and I asked if he was the manager. He said, "Yeah, kinda." I told him that the white mazda sedan outside had been tailgating me and I didn't appreciate it. He said, "OK, I guess I'll say something to him."
I left and walked to my car. Before I could arrive at my car parked about 10 yards away, the driver came outside and confronted me in an aggressive and angry manner. He accused me of lying. I told him that I was a state police officer and have been in law enforcement for 27 years and that I knew tailgating when I saw it and that it is dangerous and I didn't appreciate it. Still in a confrontational stance and angry voice, he said I was a liar. I turned and walked away to prevent further confrontation.

Domino's Pizza food

I ordered a medium pizza with cheese, black olives, and mushrooms, and 2 chicken parm sandwiches for superbowl. When they arrived I paid $29.00 plus a tip for the driver. I opened the box's that the sandwiches came in and there were 4 little cubes of chicken on each sandwich, some sauce and some cheese. The sandwich was all bread with hardly no filling whatsoever. The Pizza had tiny bits of mushrooms and black olives. Basically it had nothing on it. I called about it, and was blown off by them. They said, "sorry, there's nothing I can do, all ingredients are pre-measured...click." So, in essence, I paid 30 dollars for crap. This is not the first time they have done this. I thought the store would change when someone else began to run it, but no, its still the same crap. Bottom line, I've had enough. I'm tired of being ripped off by this store. Times are hard for everyone, money is tight. Dominos is stealing from their customers.
If I don't recieve satisfaction in this matter, I guarentee you Corporate will get a phone call from me, and if that doesn't work, I'm going straight to the newspapers about this, and then I'm going to fox news, make no mistake about it, and I have no intention of waiting a week or two to hear from someone. I have taken pictures of the sandwich's deliverd to me, and I have compared them to the sandwiches on your advertising. Obviously your advertising is false, and there are laws in this country about that. I demand to hear from someone about this matter or the gloves are coming off.

Domino's Pizza about an employee

I called to order some food! The one who answered the phone puts me on hold to answer the other line that was ringing.I waited 3 minutes I decided to hang up and call back.I call back the same employee tells me to hold again so she could answer the another line.I told her I am not holding again, she said well you're going to have to hold, I said no I am not holding.I then tell her I was calling and filing a complaint. She said in a sarcastic manner " well call " she hung up on me.
I contacted one of the other Domino's for customer service phone number, one employee told me they got alot of complaints about the same Domino store I complained about.I call customer service I tell them what happened, the lady who tool my complaint tells me she is turning it over to District office.I never heard anything from them, how sad is that piss poor service and crummy employees they hire. They should fire employees like the one who got sarcastic with me! Over a week ago I tried to order and still never heard a thing about my complaint.Pizza Hut will get alot of Domino's business I am one who won't order from that Domino's again! I don't need to be put on hold and have an employee get sarcastic with me.

Worst customer service ever! They OVER CHARGED me for my pizza and when I called back to talk to the manager I was told that "you have to ask for our SPECIALS." When I explained that I should not have to "ask" for them he hung up on me, very professional. Never ordering from here again...

Domino's Pizza oven baked sandwich

I tried one of the new oven baked sandwiches from dominos and it sucked. It was nothing like the commercial shows or the flyer I got on my door. There was barely any meat on either of the sandwiches we got. Seriously, you couldn't see the meat when the sandwich was closed and the bread was horribly hard and dry. It is totally false advertising!

Domino's Pizza delivery time

It was my first time ordering online. I thought I wouldn't have to wait long. I rang the store to see what was happening with the pizza's. He said, "Oh, it'll take 45mins -1 hour to be delivered or he would refund all my money. The cheeky buggers delivered the pizza a couple of seconds before the 1 hour was up. I was timing. How could this be fair. I had 5 hungry children waiting for dinner and the time is now 9.50pm. Eating dinner and it's nearly freaking 10pm. I want a refund and for future reference I don't think I'll be ordering online from Dominos again. They are a horrible company, they're slack, their drivers are weird, they give me the creeps. I'm talking about the Logan Central store only not other stores. I haven't dealt with other stores so cannot comment on them. I hope this finds someone who can deal with this issue and the workers at the store. Another tip, check their hygiene and the floor full of food on it. Yuck! I work in the food industry so I know about cleanliness and I know how to wash my hands when touching raw and cooked food. Their food practices are off. I am just so angry at them tonight. Maybe because I'm pregnant and was hungry like my children.

Domino's Pizza tow happy

When my son gets his hair straightened, I often go to the Domino's pizza nearby and get a pizza and take it to the salon. I usually park in the Domino's lot - which is always 90% vacant as it is more convenient. This last time I went, my husband had arrived at the salon first and I decided to check with him before ordering. He said he wanted to get Chinese food this time so we walked across the street for dinner. Imagine my shock when we came back and my car had been towed. Please note that the lot had only two cars in it - one was the delivery vehicle and another, I'm assuming, was an employee car. I went into the store and said, "I can NOT believe you towed my car!" Their response was, "We towed 3 tonight." The cost to get the car out of the tow lot was $120. Domino's has lost my $600 plus per year business and I'm sure they lost business from the other cars that were towed. I can see towing cars when the lot is strained for space. I can't see it on a Monday night when no one is in the lot. It's also the holidays and the economy is in a spiral. The Domino's sign does say, "For Domino's Pizza customers only." To Domino's - I might not have bought a pizza that night but I buy at least 4 each month and another 4 or so a year when I park in your lot and walk over to the salon. So I DID consider myself a Domino's customer. I'll now buy NO pizza from Domino's and I will never recommend it. Check "towing and Domino's" on the web. It seems this policy isn't isolated but rather appears to be encouraged.

Are you serious? You said yourself the sign says "For Domino's Pizza customers only".

You parked in the lot and were NOT a customer that night, so your car was towed.

Get over it. It was your own fault!

Domino's Pizza bad managers and service

The managers are very rude and mean to their employees and customers also they give five or six deliveries to one driver with one being over an hour old and if the customer calls and says were's my pizza they get mad and say it gets there when it gets there. the managers are also mean to there employees like i know this one guy that works there he has a lazy eye and the managers especially clark, jeff perry, and george clay they like making fun of the guy it just upsets him they'll be saying crooked eye get this get that and thats not right the managers are also perverted towards the young girls they hire they made sexual comments in the past the upset one girl so bad she quit, also food prep over there is bad the new subs they got now your suppossed to make them when the customers call but they make them way ahead of time and sometimes they set in the cooler more then a week and the stuff to make them with sets in the back of the store for like three to four hours because they make alot of sandwiches the cant leave pepperoni, chickenbreast, beefshavings, vegetables out for long period of time it can spoil but they dont care if i were you please dont eat there

Domino's Pizza never received, still payed

I don't normally do this kind of thing but...I ordered two large pizzas last night. 1) they charged my credit card. 2) I never got the pizza. What happened was my phone has been on the fritz so I ordered online(it was actually 8 bucks cheaper to go through Pizza Hut, but I choose dominos(wrong coice)). They never show up. Then this morning I get the messages. They don't have a driver(thats not my fu**ing fault I still should recieve it. and the other message... " Hi this is victor from dominos informing you that we are closed call me back when you get this." WTF! AND they still charged me!

Until the charge is actually processed at the end of the night and it wouldn't be if it wasn't delivered it doesn't go through. Also, if your phone is on the fritz then no one can reach you if there is a delivery problem right? Not good. Customers need to ALWAYS be available UNTIL the order is delivered. You don't run and hide from your waitress after she takes your order do you?

Same thing here with pizza, their 5.55 x 3 deal was a very disgusting example of what pizza should never be. An online order where the tracker lets you know that the pizza is "being prepared" "being baked in the oven" "being quality checked" and then being delivered" all in REAL TIME.

LOL... Pizza that got here was over cooked, the cheese was old and reheated, and there was so little cheese that it was barely recognizable...It felt like these pizzas were either somone elses rejects, pre made to fulfill orders quickly for pepperoni pizzas that sat around all day long, or their New Years leftover pizza bash pizzas.

Long story short, ewwwww.

I called to let them know how appetizing their pizza was not, in a very polite way. Got credited 2 free pizzas for future, Hmmmm. I wonder what extra toppings they might give me.

Oh well.

Domino's Pizza delivery of order

Ordered pizza at 530 PM Friday October 31, 2008. 3 Large 1 topping specials for 7.77 each. Pizza arrived 90 minutes later. Cold, dried out and totally unappetizing. If I had seen the pizza before accepting delivery I would have refused delivery. Had guests waiting to eat so did the best I could. I have had doubts about Dominos before but this clinched the deal. No more Dominos for me. Your 30 minutes is a scam. When I called to ask about the pizza I was told its on its way and should be there in a few minutes. Needless to say it was 20 to 25 minutes later before it arrived. I had been told about 45 minutes because they were busy but 90! come on Dominos

Ordered 52.00 worth of pizza w/5.00 tip and one pizza was supposed to be Large hand tossed with extra bacon.
Mind you, this is the third time this happened Anyway, here in Boulder City, Nevada it is done half-###. The pizza came with nothing but cheese w/6 or 7 pieces of bacon. Enough to make a half strip of bacon 3 inches long.

Third times a charm. Never (A F#$%$#%$^ gain).

Dominos does this kind of stuff here.
For once i would like to get what i paid for.
The manager(Sara) said she would be glad to switch pizzas.

What are they going to with the one i got?

Domino's Pizza using handicap parking spaces

worker utilizing company car illegally parked in handicapped parking space not in front of the Dominos store. When I asked him (as a disabled shopper) why he was parked illegally he gave me a smart ### response. He told me to be nicer. I can barely walk and struggled to get to the store entrance as the "company" car was parked directly in front of the dollar store business. ..where I should have been able to park. I have tried the sandwiches twice.
They didn't look like the commercials or the pictures.
That's understandable but these were all bread with hardly anything at all on them. The bread touched the bread all over.
I would go to Subway here but would never order sandwiches from Dominos again.
Maybe it's my local Dominos ripping us off, I don't know, I was very disappointed. No Meat, pitiful sandwich in Richlands NC

Domino's Pizza sloppy pizzas

I ordered 2 Pizzas tonight at approx 2030hrs. I was told It would take 45 mins, Imagine my surprise when there was a knock on the door after 25 mins. I asked for a 2 thin crispy bases, which I got minus the crispy!
When I lifted my first slice It all slid off the base onto my trousers!. The next slice, all the olives fell on the floor. Very poor, I think Dominos put the pizzas through the oven to quickly, also It was tasteless. I have seen a loyal customer for many years, but, I think the standards are dropping.

Domino's Pizza terrible food, cold, burned, took an hour and a half to get delivery

Receptionist was rude. Waiting an hour and a half for delivery when less then 5 min. away. Food was freezing cold and burned. Steak Sand. was cold, had 2 slices of peppers and one fatty piece of "meat". Called back and asked to speak to mgr. told by person who answered the phone "Loretta" she was the manager, would not give a last name. When asked for tne district mgr.s # I was told it was confidential and not to be given out to customers. We have been in the restaurant business for years and never expected such poor service or food, never experienced it before. VERY DISAPPOINTED. ALL FOOD WENT INTO TNE TRASH- IT WAS INEDIBLE! Please have the respect to rtn to this email.

It has been a very long time since I ordered from Dominos, so I decided with the new commercials boasting how they have changed, I took a chance to try them out one more time. I ordered carry out at the Texarkana, Texas Domino's and I only live 5 minutes away I ordered a large beef only topping and a deluxe. I do have to say that the workers were very pleasant, but my husband and I were very disastified with both pizzas. On the beef only topping, they must have ran out of the beef because there wasn't two of those round beef pieces per slice. If you ask for a beef topping it should at least be similar to ground beef and scattered over the slices, not round balls like italian sausage. I considered it only cheese, because there was certainly not enough meat to amount to anything. On the deluxe pizza, all the veggies were raw and very few of thoe. They could be cooked a little longer. I can say that I will to Pizza Hut. May be a little bit more expensive but worth it. It certainly has a much better taste.

Domino's Pizza rudeness, poor service

I am a regular customer at dominos and have been ordering almost 4 to 5 times a week, first from their outlet at ph. 3 b2 in mohali, punjab india and thn from their recently opened outlet in ph 10 mohali, india. under (phone no. 4635654).

They have lately been acting rude and got the deliveries late a few times, plainly refusing afterwards to honor their commitment. last nite, at around 8 pm, we ordered a pizza and a coke, along with a free pizza as per their coupon no. dh100. After half an hour, the boy came with only one pizza and on our telling him the mistake, the manager refused to entertain and bluntly told us that we had never asked for that order. He was rude and even refused to attend the calls, telling me that he believed his clerks instead of a customer who has been ordering for the last 3 years.

It was a horrible experience and insulting as the guests had to leave without their dinner. I vowed never to order a pizza again, in my life.

Ajay p singh,
mohali, india.

Domino's Pizza poor customer service

On Saturday 8-09-08 around 6 pm I was going to call in an order to Dominos. I had called to place the order and I had explained to them that 2 weeks prior I had a order and it had been not filled correctly and the mgr that day said that the next time we ordered we would receive a free lrg pizza for the complications at our next order to just give our name and number. So before I placed the order I had explained this to them so there was no confusion. The young lady on the line said she would have to get her mgr to pull that up because she did not have the authority to do so. A few minutes later a manager got on the phone and asked my number so I gave it to him he said that there was nothing for that number. I said well maybe it was in under my husbands number so I gave him that number. He then told he they were both coming up as a new number. I said I didn't understand that considering that we have ordered from there several times. H e said I cant do any thing unless you give me the right number. I then said well maybe it was under my mother or fathers number. He said he checked those and they came up as a different last name. I told him I didn't understand since it was just two weeks ago and I specifically asked the mgr that night for a paper with his signature saying this was a free pizza since had pretty much paid for it anyways and he said no that it would be saved in the computer. Then the mgr said well I cant honor this deal then if you have another number call back then and hung up on me. I then called him back asked for his name he said it was Shane and asked for a number to someone higher up for the rude customer service he said go on dominos.com I don't care and hung up... I have never been treated this way they should not offer free items or discounts if they do not honor thm this so called manager was rude and disrespectful I cant believe an employee of this nature is working in customer service. If I was to go thru this everytime I call that will be the last time and I'll be sure to let all my friends know of the rude inappropriate customer service at this store. It was ridiculous and uncalled for. Thank you and hope that something will be done to resolve this much unneeded matter.

I am the office supervisor for this office. I called to order several pizzas and when Chris ansered he immediatly told me he was the only one there and "very busy". I still ordered the pizzas and I picked them up, however for 3 large pizzas, I was charged $31.32. When I arrived to pick up the pizzas, I asked for plates, cheese, and peppers. I was told there were no plates, he threw the peppers and cheese at me, when I asked for his manager, he gave me the first name Mario, and said he will be in tomorrow. I appreciate the fact that Chris was busy, we all are at this time of the year, but his customer service was very poor. Please address this issue. If you can give me a call we can discuss this further. Thank you.

If anyone has ever worked in a pizza place they would realize it is not an easy job. You could have been more considerate, knowing he was the only one working. It's a shame you didn't look byond. He probably had phones on hold, pizzas to make, pizza's coming out of the oven and then he had to stop and get you pepper and parmasean cheese. Why didn't you ask for it when you placed the order, it probably would have been in it. Or do you just enjoy having people at your beck and call and running to get you something.

"I appreciate the fact that Chris was busy, we all are at this time of the year..."

Immediately I can tell you have no idea what being busy means. You probably see the people you supervise being busy and assume that you know what that means. Let me help you. If you have one person working at a pizza place during lunch rush, that person has every right to be a bit on edge and customer service be damned. For all you know he had pizzas backing up in the oven and needed to tend to that. Had he said give me just one second, you'd be on here complaining about your wait.

I am willing to put about any amount of money that the topic poster could not do Chris' job for longer than 30 minutes before he quit due to the busy nature of the job. People who say they understand what someone is going through usually have no idea.

Sadly this sort of "I'm right and you're wrong" mentality is common with Dominos employees -- all of whom seem to be managers.

Twice now, my friends and I have tried to order Dominos only to have the order show up wrong. When I try to call the manager, it seems that whoever took my order happens to be the manager. When I complain that my order was made incorrectly, I am told that I just ordered wrong. Not his problem, the manager tells me, and he can't fix it without authorization from some regional customer service center.

And of course, the customer service center conveniently closes at 4:30 p.m. local time, before most people even order.

I had a similar experience...

My friends and I get together bi-weekly (on average) to relive our college days of eating pizza, drinking beer, and catching up. Our pizza of choice is typically Domino's. Among other reasons we choose Domino’s primarily due to your fast service and excellent Brooklyn style pizza! For similar reasons, my wife and I eat Domino’s pizza enough to designate its own folder in our coupon drawer and have the phone number in our cell phones.

The group and I last got together on a Wednesday (I think it was September 3rd, although I'm not certain of the exact date?). As usual, I called Domino's. I called the one located on 62nd Street in Indianapolis, IN (exact location: 2102 E. 62nd St. Indianapolis, IN 46220 || phone: 317.257.3030). After being on hold for about 15 minutes, the Domino's agent picked up the call and rattled off the specials. He sounded enthused, and by enthused I mean he was about 5 minutes from taking a nap on the countertop. I told him my order and all was well. Until he asked me for my phone number. I gave him the same phone # as in this form (812.961.2982) which is the same phone # I’ve given to just about every other Domino’s agent I’ve spoken to in the last two years or more. He abruptly (as if he were defending himself) told me that he cannot place my order because that is an out of state phone #. Needless to say, I was confused. I have used this phone many times when ordering pizza and he reacted as if I was threatening his business by attempting to order a pizza from a different state. After about 5 full minutes of attempting to inform this agent of the fact that this is NOT an out-of-state phone #; it’s Voice Over IP (VOIP). It basically means I get to keep the same phone # as the one I had in Bloomington, IN (which, as you’re well aware, is in Indiana!) as long as I have a VOIP capable router (this is to make life easier because people don’t have to re-memorize or reprogram a new phone #). I told the agent where I live…which is less than 5 miles from his location! This concept was obviously not sinking in with the agent on the other end of the line.

In an attempt to regain control and not have to call back from another phone (as the agent repeatedly suggested was the ONLY way to resolve this issue) which would result in another 10-15 minute wait on hold, I attempted to steer the conversation in another direction. I simply offered to give him my cell phone number instead of my home phone. He told me that would just not do. He said I HAD to call back from the other phone. He would not give me a valid reason, his reason was because he suspects that I was calling from an out-of-state phone and that he NEEDED me to call back from a phone with the same area code as he in order to prove that I’m not and therefore process the order. Again, I explained to him that this is not out-of-state number and that I am just trying to order some pizza. A far cry from activating DefCOM 1 in an attempt to take over the Domino’s corporation – which is the reaction I was getting.

And then…he hung up on me. His last words were that I have to cooperate and call back from another phone. Needless to say, I did not take this lightly.

I am ordering PIZZA – why does this have to be so difficult?

So, I called the location back (using the same phone) to ask for the manager. Lo and behold, the person I just got off of the phone with IS the manager. I expressed my discontent with being hung up on. I informed the manager that he has not only lost my business for the evening, but likely for life. I do not take lightly to intellectual insults, being hung up on, being spoken to in a condescending manner, or being told that I’m wrong and must prove my rightfulness – when I KNOW that I’m right – all of which happened during this 20 minute conversation between the Domino’s agent and I.

I don’t want to dislike Domino’s. But I have to say that at this time, I do. I did not order Domino’s that evening, nor a few days later when my n’laws (a family of 5) and I had pizza.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to train your employees as to what VOIP is? I’d imagine that Domino’s Corporate would not be too happy to learn of this scenario and the way in which one of their managers treated a long-standing customer. Not to say that Domino’s does not already go through great efforts of Customer Service Training, but this manager evidently missed that class. My intention of this email is not to receive free pizza for life, or to get the manager fired. I just want to be heard. I need to know that this situation does not go unnoticed. And I do understand that simply because one person was having a bad day (maybe one of his drivers called in sick and the other kitchen worker was driving him crazy, I don’t know?) – does not mean that the whole of Domino’s corporation is tainted.

I hope this gets to the right person who will actually do something about it, instead of trying to delete it quickly in hopes that no one will notice.

You know how to get a hold of me – please let me know if there is any other information I may provide.
