Dollar Tree service

I realize that your stores cater basically to a lower income coustermer, Nevertheless, your employees should be trained in proper sanitary procedures. I went to one of your stores, went through the register, paid the cashier. She counted out my change by licking her fingers to grab each bill. This day and age, this conduct is highly inappropriate. My advice would be to issue each cashier with those little wet sponges, that every respectable store has, and instruct them how to use it. Chances are, you probably sell them. Thank you.

I'm sorry you had to experience that Jeff. I work at a Dollar Tree in Massachusetts and I've had customers do the same to me while I was ringing them up (and my store is stand-alone, situated at the heart of a low-income neighborhood). Talk about disgusting!

Dollar Tree manager acting very hateful.

Today I visited store #965 in Williamsburg. There was a gentleman/manager, or someone of apparent importance there, who was truly hateful, rude & acting like a complete bully to the employees. Hollering at them as if they didn't have a brain, downgrading them, speaking so loudly he could be heard from one side of the store to the other, while they were stocking shelves! Even if these employees are "problematic", take them in the back and fix the situation! Doing it in the store, where you have paying customers, if completely unacceptable! I can NOT imagine working under this man! He was horrible, bullying, rude, obnoxious, hateful & just out and out mean! And to add to this, he never once bothered to open a box and help stock the shelves. But he sure found the time to stop hollering at those stocking to go outside with a female associate to smoke a cigarette! I literally walked out of that store completely dumbfounded that someone would be that ugly to people in public.
I will not be returning to this store!

Dollar Tree unauthorized credit card charges

On 8/25/17 I visited store to purchase goods for a company event and used my corporate purchasing card. When it came time to reconcile my statement I noticed an unauthorized charge of $99.95 on 8/26/17 for a Showtime PPV Fight Event, which I did not purchase. My last use of this card was 8/25 at the Dollar Tree. I was not able to get the name of the person who used the card from Showtime and contacted the manager, Paul at the store and just explained to him that this could have happened at his store as I did not use it anywhere else. We both didn't know how it could have happened since I used the chip. I don't recall if cashier asked to see my card, as some do in other establishments. Paul said he had video footage and would take a look and call me back in 30-60 mins. As of two days later no word from him and I stopped in store and left a message for him to call me. The cashier said he was coming in that evening. That was on 9/21 and still no response from him. This is suspicious to me because if there was nothing on video or if there was, I would think he would let me know, UNLESS, and I am only guessing, somehow he was the one who stole my credit card number. I just wanted to make you aware of how unprofessional this manager is to say he will call you back and never does. This was my favorite Dollar Tree store, but with management like that, I don't want to give them my business. If possible I would like some resolution of this as I am concerned how my credit card information was stolen from me. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dollar Tree assault

I was at your store shopping when I went to reach for a can on the bottom shelf the store manager grab my butt. I turned around and said what are you doing? He said I thought it was my wife. I can't believe you allow this at your stores and you allow anyone to run the store. I will never shop there again. It was the store on Daniela in fort Myers 04327 the only positive was the cashier she was helpful and told me he was the store manager.

Dollar Tree cleanliness of store

We have a fairly new store located in Oswego, NY. I'm not sure if there is a new manager of this store but it is filthy. The floors throughout the store are so dirty. The bathroom is pretty disgusting too. I actually brought it to the managers attention and she said there just isn't time to get everything done. I just went in today and is worse than months ago. Each time I go is dirtier. It hasn't been cleaned. It was a beautiful store. I know it's a cheap store to shop at but they should still have pride in their store.

Dollar Tree customer relations

09/20/2017

To whom it may concern:

I, Marie Smith, was in the Dollar Tree store located in Willmar, MN store #3715 on the date of 09/14/2017 around 5:30pm.

When I witnessed a horrific display of rudeness by the store cashier named Brittany and the store manger named Kassandra,

directed towards two male customers and an employee ending her shift.

As I was waiting to be checked out, the two male customers were looking through the balloons, which was also located next to the office.

At no fault to the males, the cashier Brittany, proceeded to rudely turn around an state "Could you not stand behind me, an I don' t like people behind me?"

I was astounded, I was in the very first check out line, there were 3 others behind the employee.

Not only was this the only issue, immediately afterwards, the manager loudly and carelessly, placed a phone call and stated that the female employee was short $45.00

from her till, and publicly accused handing the above said amount of money to the male customers.

This clearly would have been impossible as the office was open, however the two gentleman where not even close enough to be handed said money.

I and other customers clearly, verbally stated they would not returning to this store due such lack of concern and privacy of all offended parties.

Shortly after I had left the store the employee whom was so publicly embarrassed step out, clearly in despair.

I questioned her if it would be possible to review the security cameras to assist in sorting this out, she stated none of them worked, and that they drop her hours and told her return the following week.

I sincerely would hope that you would take this incident under advisement, and sort this out and properly reprimand the store manager.

If you have any further questions, feel free to email at the contact below.

[protected]@gmail.com

Sincerely,
Marie Smith

Dollar Tree management

Store # 4892
2489 Aramingo Ave
Phila Pa 19125
I work for this dollar tree, and my manager is Sophy Phork, a recent incident has occurred while a new supervisor was there, where both bathrooms seemed to have been clogged, as I unclogged the toilets, the drain pipe on the floor had shot out nasty stuff, and made a very foul smell, as I called sophy to inform her, and asked that she came back since was still in parking lot, her response was "the bathrooms we're working fine when I was there" then as I explained to her the situation her phone mysteriously shuts off and never had called back, I find it highly unprofessional that she would abandon her own store like that, as for me and the supervisor and cleaned up the mess and got the toilets working, for the main manager to abandon a new supervisor without being trained fully on what should be done if incidents like this we're to happen, I'm in hopes that there is a report done about this

Dollar Tree discrimination against my service dog

I am a very loyal customer. I shop there 3-4 times a week. I even use your online service. Every Christmas I spend $300-$500 buying stocking stuffers to donate to shelters and churches for child and grown ups. Every Easter I spend over a hundred dollars for Easter hand outs. I used to always shop at the Store in Havre De Grace, MD 21078 store #4391. At first I accepted the lady asking me about my dog. Its always the same lady, name unknown, she wouldn't give it to me. After the 5th time of her asking me if my dog was a service dog and me saying Yes each time. I mean back to back visits so there was no way she forgot. I decided to change stores and went out of my way to use the store in Northeast, MD store #2405. The Northeast 2405 store I get excellent service, they even remember I'm the lady that spends a lot at Christmas, I loved it. Just this week on the 12th, I was already in Havre De Grace so I stopped there. I regret it now. She was working and I tried to stay away from her but near then end we passed each other. When I walked past her she said "I [censor] hate these damn dogs in my store". I left the store crying. My dog is very nice and polite and never does anything wrong in the store so I don't get what the problem is. When I get upset, it causes me to have black outs and fall. I have mobility issues and my dog keeps me balanced. I really would like to receive a phone call back about this situation cause I already brought it up to the manager of the store but she gives a phone number and walks away. My # [protected]

Dollar Tree service

Hello I am writing because I havent been this embarrassed in a while.

This is in regards to the dollar tree in Denver CO at 8000 E Quincy Ave #600 Denver CO 80237

This occurred September 18th between 6-6:15pm

I wish I could give this specific location zero stars. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life. I have a black purse that is one that you can carry on your back (bought it in the purse section at Kohls) I am not in high school. I actually work in the big office building right next store. As I was walking in, a tall man with black curly hair raised his voice accoss the room to take my back pack off. (He was a dollar tree worker) I didnt think I heard him correctly as I have never had this request before so I said, what did he say. He repeated across the room that I could not have my "backpack in here". I told him this was not a back pack... solely just my purse. He said I could leave it at the front door. I did not feel comfortable with this as I have personal items in my purse that I would not want stolen. Not accusing anyone, but you never know what can happen. Honestly, I am a Muslim woman and I have never felt so judged on. Was he afraid that I could have a bomb or something in my purse and that's why he said I could not have my purse in there? Either way he did not explain, just said it's a new policy. I would never want another Muslim woman to feel the way I felt today. I felt very low and probably will never return, even though I'm right next store every day.

- A former loyal customer who has spent hundreds of dollars here

He said it because most of the homeless people have backpacks. They go in their to steal. Since CO weed laws have changed, there's a influx of them. He was just trying to protect the store. But, can't win either way with that one.
Sorry, you had a bad experience. I would have called his general manager. But, if you allow one person and not another. Then it could be racial profiling.

Dollar Tree complaint of racial profiling and unprofessional employee

On 09/17/17 I visited the Dollar Tree located at 1551 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Buffalo NY. I was racially profiled by a male employee named Derek, he has long blonde shoulder length hair. I came in the store with my 2 children, (2 y.o. son and 12 y.o. daughter) we are black. This was to be a quick stop, so my husband and 3 month old daughter were in the parking lot waiting for us to return. I was in the process of buying some index cards, and my 2 kids that came in with me went in the toy aisle that was directly beside the stationary aisle. My children and I were communicating the entire time over the toy wall. I heard them playing with a horn, which I was planning on purchasing for them as they sorted through the other toys to pick more things to buy. A white male employee spoke to them both in a very aggressive tone. I went over to him and asked him what did they do wrong, and why is he talking to my children? He stated they were playing with the horn and he wanted them to stop as it is annoying him. I stated this is a toy aisle and I don't appreciate him speaking to my children in the manner he did, he then said the customers in the store do not need this much noise while they are shopping. My children were not running in the aisle nor were they screaming, yelling or talking loudly. They were simply playing with a horn. I stated no one is complaining, and this is a public store therefore they can play with a toy if they choose to do so. Immediately a customer who is a white lady came up to me and stated she was bothered by the noise the toy was making. I told her to leave my personal space, and this is a public store. There were other kids in the store who were not of color and they were not spoken to by the employee, and they were also touching items. The employee decides to follow me throughout the store, so I decided to check out. I went to the register the lady who claimed the horn my children were playing with bothered her was in the same line I was in, and I told her in the future to not include herself in situations that has nothing to do with her. The employee, Derek came up to the register and told me to leave his store, I stated I will not do such thing until I paid for my items, and my money is just as good here as everyone else's money. The employee stood by the door the entire time, and tried to kick me out the store twice while I checked out, and stated he doesn't want my kids touching the toys I stated you don't want them touching it because we are black, he then told me I was disgraceful for saying that, I told him he was disgraceful for verbally attacking a 2 year old over a toy they sold in their store, which I was planning on buying and now telling me, their mom who was sticking up for my children to leave the store. The issue was clearly not the toy, but the color of me and my children skin. Because all the other children who were in the store at that time, and they were all white were never approached by this employee to stop touching items. I was humiliated and degraded by your employee and the woman on the register opposite me stood there the entire time and did not reprimand him for his behavior but when I asked him for his name to file a complaint, she stated she was the manager. Which was very shocking to me that she is the manager and allowed him to behave this way in her presence towards a customer. I went to the parking lot told my husband about the incident, he went in the store very upset, and asked for the manager. The woman who stated she was the manager told my husband that she isn't the manager, but Derek is, so I am still not sure who the real manager of this store is. I filed a complaint on your website, as well as called your customer service line and waited 20 minutes and was not able to leave a message, as the voicemail for Steven Crawford your customer service representative sent me to was full.

Please read with understanding, this clear racism, and this employee should be reprimanded, Stop parent bashing and see the issue for what it is. I was paying for the items not having my kids play with random toys.

Dollar Tree cashier unprofessional

on september. 17th I came to store #5813 in Houston, TX to exchange some items as well as purchase more. I came wtih my items in box. after getting my addtional items for purhcase I went to the register the clerk was on the phone taking his time. he finally comes to the register I told him I need my box in order to get my new items to my car. he stated do not take the items out to the box unless I was going to put them back on the selves. I asked him if he was serious he said dead serious, because "he doesn't even suppose to be doing this" whatever "this is" I express to himt that seems to be an employee problem not a customer problem. he ignored my comment. My sister in law and myself are standing there with 2 baskets full of glass wear and he never once tried to wrap them offer any type of assistance until I stated are you going to help us or continue to let us stand here. So proceed to grab the box in which the exchange items were in, and wanted to remove them he yells don't take that out. I said well give me some help. I found another worker and asked him to get me box(es) he gets ont he loud speaker yelling loudly get this lady a box. while the whole time we are still standing there causing back up in the lines. I saw on one of the registers there was a roll or brown napkins so I grabbed those and stated its a same I have to do other people job. He yells out who job or you doing its not mine. I yelled back at times, I'm PISSED. I said its your job, you are unprofessional, unhelpful, rude and lazy. I should not be wrapping and trying to bag and box my own items. and you don't suppose to tell a customer to put items back on a shelf. The other employee found us boxes. but we still had to stand there and wrap and box all the items ourselves. WE CONTINUED TO HAVE WORDS WITH EACH OTHER . BECAUSE HE WAS RUDE AND DISRESPECTUL. and bascially told him he doesn't give a DAMN. I remembered him from the week before when another asked him to help us then with that 1st purchase and get us a box. he walked out side and went to side of the building and smoked WEED with someone that was standing by the window waitng OMG.. after I got all the items wrapped he followed us outside and stood in front of my car and smoked a cigarrette and just stared at us as we got in the car. I don't know if he was trying to scare of or what but thats so unprofessional. I will never go there again as long as he works there and I will tell everyone I know in that area my salon and everyone else to not go. becasue that type of behavior is uncalled for and doesn't deserve business and he had a management badge on. Thats the funniest thing ever. because management definelty does not act like.
he was not for the customer, he is not customer centric.. he sucks.
