My complaint is about a pt manager. There's a part time manager that works @ dollar tree in clinton sc store # 7025. Sarah grigg is her name. She takes her kids to work with her everyday but no employee is supposed to take their kids to work. Something should be done about this. If she doesn't have a babysitter she shouldn't have applied for management.
Dollar Tree - store manager and rude, disrespectful cashier
On Friday November 1st, I went to this store to shop, even though I live about 25 minutes away from there and there is one in Laurens; which I drove by and could have shopped at but went to the Clinton location(Store#7025) instead. I asked the manager on duty if she could get something down for me that I couldn't reach and a cashier by the name of Sharon was very rude to me and told me to leave the manager alone and let her do her job. The store manager( Samatha Lyons) did write the cashier up but because she wasn't there and wasn't told about it she threw the write-up away and I know for a fact that even if the employee refuses to sign the write-up, they are suppose to be filed. I have been shopping there at least twice a month and spend at least $100 but I will no longer be shopping at this particular store. This is just one of many problems that I've had and seen with this location.
Dollar Tree - Sisters working @ same store & one is manager & has a record
A lady named Nicole Brown is a manager & has a record but was able to get it to go through which isn't fair.She gets her sister Sarah Brown a job which is against company policy.A lady that worked there before did a background check for part time ASM but didn't pass it & no one tried to get it to go through.How is it fair for one that has a record to get to be manager but the other one couldn't?The store manager knows about Nicole & Sarah being sister & Nicole having a record but she doesn't act like it matters.She's just worried about having help.I personally don't think a felon should have the chance to handle money & take it to the bank.They did a crime one time they'll do it again.I think someone from Human Resource should look into this because the DM doesn't do his job
For everyone that says I'm not qualified, I took an assessment for Store Manager so DT must think I'm more than qualified...Should have results this week then move on to 5 weeks training

They have suspensions I'm the one that told but don't know for sure but I was told by the Regional manager I can't get fired for it...They have a no retaliation rule
Nicole fussed yesterday after truck because she was told to do something that she didn't wanna do...It's her job as full time to do whatever the Store manager wants done especially this week with the Store Manager being on vacation

Also found out Nicole didn't want the position she just wanted the pay but had to take the promotion to make the $..Her Best Friend told me this & she's also a manager @ the same store
Omg this is so petty! Just because somebody committed a crime in the past doesn't mean they will do it again. That is sterotyping in the worst kind of way. I made a big mistake when I was young and I got caught with a felony. I paid my debt to society and have never looked back. I cleaned my life up and became a decent member of society. People do change. And anyone that says different is closed minded...
