Dollar Tree customer service

My customer service experience was extremely bad. Her name is Samantha a cashier.
She would not smile, every time I see her she is rude but this time she rung up my stuff.
I swiped my card and she pressed a bunch of buttons and said my card doesn't work..when I know I have More than enough for the purchase I was trying to make.
She kept doing it over and over about 4 times..
I knew she was doing it on purpose because she was suppose to push 1 button after I swipe.
And she said she won't do anything about it..I told her that she needs to call a manager over and she got rude and smart and said that it will be the same results..
She refused to help me so I had to get a manager and Samantha told the manager that its my fault that my card does not work..
The manager rung up my items on a separate register after arguing nicely with me and saying all the registers are connected so dining it up on a mother register won't make it work..
So I had to ask him 4 times to re ring it up.
He rung it up and when I swiped my card he only pushed 1 button 1 time and my card worked..
In very upset because Samantha was playing games wasting my time..

I also had to tell the customer to start arguing and that the customer is always right..

Dollar Tree manager named kenny in yonkers ny

I love dollar tree not because you can find cute things. Today makes me not like the store very much. I went in the store today just to look not really to buy anything. But every time i go in the store i find something today was no different. After getting like 5 items i got online which seems to always be there unless you come when store first opens or is about to close. when i got up to counter i put my items up on counter i went to put the basket down Kenny told me to put it back at the front door First off he works for dollar tree not me . But i started to take it back till it hit me am doing his job so i said that i wasn't taking it back and he told me he wasn't going to serve me. he put his middle finger up at me and told me to tell corporate office which had just been there not to long ago. He didn't care this was his second job. I was only spending a dollar and that the store would make it up. But i was spending 5 plus tax and what about the 15 plus tax that i spent yesterday or the 60 i spent the week before. Or the 20 i spent two weeks ago. I think you guys need to let him go so that he can have more time for his first job.

Dollar Tree employees

I worked store 3019 in arab alabama. I just purchased an umbrella for $65. I accidentally left it in the office when I went home. I only work here on the weekends because I have another job thru the week. I had called to quit the dt and to pick up my umbrella but someone had already taken it home. And no one will come forth and bring it back. If they’re stilling from employees/ex-employees what are the stealing from the company? I know it’s just an umbrella but it’s the principle they stole from a co worker.

Dollar Tree store #4890

Store # 4890 Manager Colleen Burt . She is Gertrude and disrespectful on many separate occasions. I went there to pick up my in store order that was placed on 9/28/17. Mind you I got an email on 10/20 to pick the order up, that’s almost a month for an in store pick up of items already advertised and sold in store. I went in the same day I got email, Oder was not available. Waited until on day 10/23/17, went to the store, the manager there and Burt was walking around out of uniform pink shirt black bottoms on the phone talking loud throughout the store, she came over asked what name the order was under (she’s still on the phone) she said she has no order for me. I told her I came on Friday, your store associate said the order was there but the shipment was unpacked her name was Wanda. I told her I would come on Monday. Ms Burt said let me check again but she know she didn’t see anything (she still talking on the phone to whoever she was taking too) After 5 minutes she came back with one box ( she’s still on the phone) I looked through the box, and I told her a case of an item was missing. She put her arm on the box, leaned up with an attitude and said that’s all I have . I told her I’m a faithful customer of the Dollar tree and I have a business which is why I spend thousands of dollars with your stores, I said I placed the order you guys charged me already, I got the email, I been back and forth. Her response was our store dontsend emails and they don’t put the orders together, I told her I understand that but issue not an employee of Dollar Tree, a Manager at that and you’re not trying to help me. I told her I need to know when to expect the other items and that I wasn’t leaving until she gave me the information now. She said “who you talking to ? “ I told her “you”. All this time she is on the phone, being rude asking the person she is on the phone with if they can pass by Popeyes and if she can get hash browns. At that point I had asked her several times to look at the email so she can see the items and she refused, kept asking me over Andover what I ordered because she did not care nor was she paying attention to me at the time. She then stormed off for about ten minutes and came back with a case of the item that was missing. I asked for her full name, reporting supervisor name and number . She gave me her manager name as Alley Hansen and gave me a cell phone number to call . I called the store after I left when I realized she gave me a cell phone number, she answered, I asked her for a company phone number, she then seemed frantic and couldn’t find a number, then she gave me a number and I asked her what number she gave me, she then gave the phone to another manager by the name of Anna who gave me the information, again she was very rude, she didn’t want to speak with me becauss it seems like if she was more upset than me about the situation. This is unacceptable. I want to file a formal complaint against her, this is the 3rd time I have had an bad customer service experience with her and I don’t think you should have someone as unprofessional as her representing your store. My phone number is

Dollar Tree employee harassment for submitting a negative review

I visited the Dollar Tree on Home Depot Blvd. in Lake City, FL on October 22, 2017. I arrived at 8:57 am and noticed atleast five cars in the front lot as I pulled up. Some employees were walking inside the store and so I parked and walked up to the door to find that it was locked. I verified it was then past 9am. Another customer exited their vehicle and came over and informed me that the employees had been standing smoking and walked inside at exactly 9am, locking the door behind them. We watched employees moving around in the store and we stood at the door until it was opened at 9:07am.

By the time I arrived at the counter as customer number two, there were atleast five people in line and I alone had over thirty items and only one register was opened. As I exited the store I observed three employees sitting to the left of the door smoking what appeared to be cigarettes and I took a picture, went online to the Facebook page and provided a review.

On the morning of October 23, 2017, I began receiving Facebook messages from an employee who was apparently captured in the photo named Bee Cheshire who began harassing me about the review. She went back and forth calling me a liar for not mentioning she was on break after having worked since 3am. I explained to her that my review was absent any of the information only privy to her and was irrelevant with regards to the concerns I raised. She exchanged over 15 posts to challenge me for the review and it finally ended by my explaining to her that her harassing responses were unprofessional, unethical and she should be ashamed of herself for engaging in such behavior on the company's facebook page.

This behavior and harassment from an employee because a customer publicized the poor service received is just appalling. The employee should be fired for the exchange. Employees should not be allowed to smoke in front of the store. The store needs a policy on when to open more than one register to assist customers with a positive experience.

Dollar Tree trash from dollar tree store

I am the store manager of the business located just north of your store located at 610 South 2nd Ave in Dodge City, Kansas 67801. Last Friday 10/20/17 was a pretty windy day in southwest Kansas. Your store had several boxes sitting on the south side of your building during this windy day. These boxes are now blown all over not only your lot behind your building but also on my lot behind my building. Myself and one of my employee's just cleaned up all around our lot on Thursday 10/19/17 and now all of these boxes are blown all over again. It does not make any since to me to have these boxes just stacked up outside so that they can blow all over the place. I think that your people need to come over and pick all of them up and dispose of them properly but not in my trash cans.
Thank You

Dollar Tree poor service

They have a cashier I think his name is Paul. He is constantly soaking wet from sweat although it is not warm outside and he is not working hard at all. He is so slow checking out because he tells every customer about how broke he is and how many bills he has to pay. I'm sorry but we all have money problems. I didnt come to shop to listen to his. He talks and talks holding up the lane. His helpers have to come up all the time because he is wasting so much time the line builds up. He makes sexist comments about women and cleaning. He talks about his ex-wife. Despite all the times I've seen the managers talking to him he never changes. I am getting sick of coming because I dread the fact he may be working. Something needs to change

Dollar Tree rectifying charge errors

On 10/22/17, I was overcharged by $2.17 for 2 taxable Moisture Absorbent items that belonged to the customer behind me. I told the checkout clerk they were not my Items. She attempted to void them but was unsuccessful as I discovered as I reviewed my receipt as I was exiting the store. I told the clerk of the error and she summoned the Manager who told me to get two more items because she could not refund my money because I used a credit card. I refused and she state there's nothing she could do and walked away. Reluctantly, I picked up two Items that were not taxable. Therefore I was out the tax of $.17. My complaint is that her didn't care attitude and that I had to get two items I didn't want because of their error. I could take it out on their merchandise on my next visit or they can offer me a refund and an apology.

Dollar Tree Disrespectful

I walked Into the dollar tree store on richmond avenue in staten island, NY and had my cart full of items I was going to buy. I am a very frequent customer to both locations near me and even bring friends with me to spend more money. As I was shopping around my 4yo son said he really needed to use the bathroom and was holding himself trying not to pee himself. My bf asked one of the girls going towards the back if our son can use the bathroom and she said "um we are not really suppose too, but can he can by himself?" He is only 4 and I am not going to have him walking around the back area by himself. She then said that she would bring him, which made it a little uncomfortable for me. Then before we even answered a "manager" from the back told the girl no. So she then turned to us and said that my manager said he can't use the bathroom. IF the bathroom was meant for an adult I would not have minded the "NO" answer, but for a little kid to be given that answer really upset me. I understand stores have policies but to deny a child use of the restroom is wrong. I left my cart there and walked out of the store, and will not be returning. Dollar Tree unethical behavior/double charges on bank account

Dollar Tree
Clarke Crossings
Store #20
3565 Atlanta Highway
Athens, GA [protected]

My card came up as decline and the cashier suggested I may have put in the wrong pin number so I tried it again. It worked the second time and my total was three dollars and twenty one cents. I went to my car and checked my bank account on my mobile app. It stated I was charged twice but they still said "Pending" so I understand one of the charges may not charge, however, If I typed in my wrong PIN the first time, the charge should have never showed up on my account. Anyhow, I walked back into the store and the person blowing up balloons said she stated she was the manager. I told her what happened and she promised me the next day, the charge would be removed automatically. That is all I needed to know. She then asked me and warned, "I am not trying to attack you in any way or offend you but how often do you stand in line with your bank account open at the cash register line? I used to work at a gas station and people would always do this and then request their money back." Never once in my conversation with her did I ask for a refund, I asked if the charge would be removed and her reassurance was all I needed, not her absurd accusations and assumptions. Also, I did not stand in line with my bank account open, I went to my car and came back in to the store. Also, how would I intentionally decline my own card? If I had put in the wrong PIN number the duplicate charge should not have appeared in my account at all. I got very angry because not only did she have an attitude from the start, she asked me that in front of other customers at the front of the store by the registers and embarrassed. I asked to speak to a manager and she claimed she was the manager. How can you have a store run by a woman who is rude to a customer? I told her I did not appreciate her comments and she apologized. She stated that if the charge was not gone by the next day, to come back and she would take care of it. That is all she needed to say from the beginning. Not accuse me of trying to steal three dollars and twenty one cents from Dollar Tree. I was extremely dissatisfied with my visit, it was my first time going to that location and I will not return nor will I recommend it to friends and family. The customer service was awful and the experience made me feel awful.

Dollar Tree service

I was really having a thirst for some drinking water and since I know Dollar Tree sells the water for just $1. I decided to walked around the corner and get some drinking water.

I looking up the store info online and saw that the store closed at 9pm. After entering the store, well I had the earphone in my ears and I saw the customers and the staff looking at me. I immediately removed the earpiece from my ears and asked what was wrong. The service rep said that are closed. I asked how can they be closed when it’s not even 9PM and the sign on the door clearly say 9 PM and all I wanted was just one water.
The manager walked over and escorted me to the door then closed the door after.

This email is not to complained because I didn’t get the water but for the principle of it and to let this not happened again.
If the store closed at 9PM then they should closed at the exact time.
Keep in mind I walked in the store 6 minutes before closing time.

I’ve work in retail before and none of the store I’ve worked for ever turn a customer away once they are on the store and it’s not closing time.

I did proceed to another local corner store and got the water.

I recently moved into a new apartment and went and got me some kitchen plate and other kitchen items just a week before.

I really don’t think I will be going back to that Dollar Tree anymore. Rather to talk my money somewhere else. I have attached a pic of the time I was returned from the store and the time of the open and closed.

Thanks for reading this email even though I know this won’t go anywhere.([protected]@gmail.com)

Dollar Tree manager at your store in lenexa ks

Today I was at your store, I stopped by with my 5 children (ages 16, 8, 4 and 3). We were walking together when your manager approached my 16 year old daughter and asked if we were all together. First of all, why does that matter? She then proceeded to tell her that my children were not to touch anything unless we were buying it. As I turned around to confront her (she obviously didn't know that we were all together), I said excuse me? And she said, "well I don't mind if they look but please don't let them pick anything up that you aren't buying." They all had 1 or 2 things in their hands that we were going to purchase. I chose to walk away before saying something in front of my children. But she then proceeded to follow us around and to a certain extent watch us. Aren't your employees paid to do their job? Even if my children did pick something up and set it down (which they didn't. They are very well behaved and all knew how many things they were allowed to buy) but why wasn't she following anyone else in the store? I will add that I am Hispanic and my children are biracial. Why is she allowed to ask who is together or tell us what we can and can't touch in a store that I AM SPENDING MY MONEY? We finished up our trip, where I paid for everything ($24) and asked at check out if a manager was there. Where she rudely informed me that she was the manager. So I am now reaching out to someone above her. It is completely unacceptable how your MANAGER of this store acted.

Dollar Tree employees

As I was entering the store, you employees were outside in front of the doors smoking. I had my two grandchildren with me and it was a cloud of smoke getting to the door. They need to be smoking far from the entrance of the building. I do believe this is a law . I understand their needs but they need to be more respectful of the shoppers. Many people going to this store have children and they do not need to walk through a cloud of smoke getting into the store.

Dollar Tree employee/asst manager

Disappointed in customer service in Elberton Georgia store. Too friendly and personal with other company truck drivers. Discovered and confirmed
emloyee sleeping with married men... particularly truck drivers that made deliveries. Not a good look for the company at all. If customers can't trust the service of employees, customers can't trust to spend their money in any Dollar Tree store... ever.

Dollar Tree karen from tewksbury ma store

Karen from the Main Street Tewksbury MA 01876 store was incredibly rude to me in front of 4 other customers and my 20 month old son. I bought 25 8x10 picture frames 6 of them did not fit the pictures. I brought them back knowing you guys do exchange only got a ball for my son and some other little things we needed. When I got to the cashier she said she had to ask Karen. She came over and said she couldn't take the 2 I had opened. I was fine with that but I told her I didnt think she should re sell them anyway because they dont fit the picture size it claims it does. She barked at me saying Im going to re sell them. I said ok but they dont fit and other people will bring them back. She said they dont fit your pictures then walked away and said- you know what Im not taking them back! I was blown away the other 4 people in the store stopped to look at her screaming from across the store. I said well this is wrong the way your treating me so Im going to contact customer service. She proceeded to scream from across the store- go ahead my name is Karen! I was emabarassed everyone was looking at me. And to boot my son started crying when I had to put the ball back. One other customer came over to me and told me how outraged she was at that and told me how to contact complaints. That was such a terrible experience for such a small suggestion. So I had to leave the store with $6 of frames that dont fit the pictures and a crying son.

Dollar Tree customer service

On 10/18/2017 at 1945 we were not greeted at the door, but the woman at the register would not look us in the eye, was rude and degrading to polite conversational questions and statements we made. I understand people may have bad days but that is not an excuse to be rude to customers when you are in a customer service oriented field. If the cameras are in the store, you will be able to see how my family was treated. Thank you for your time. Please handle this appropriatley I would not want others to be treated this way.
