On 07/05/18 i put a complaint on a dollar tree employee from store# 5345 the employees name is Savannah. Today is july 7 2018 and i still have not got any response from dollar tree. It seems like dollar tree doesn't have any means of solving my issue maybe you guys are short staffed at your corporate headquarters the same way your short staffed at all the stores.

Dollar Tree employee lack of tact

I am currently working with Operation Homefront to provide school supplies to our military families through Dollar Tree. I contacted the store location (Emmett, ID) I volunteered to pick up supplies from and while I tried to coordinate when would be best to schedule pick-ups the employee that answered the phone asked me what I was calling for and in the middle of me explaining I was apparently transferred to another employee unknowingly. When she picked up the line I was greeted with "who is this?" And when I began to explain who I'm with and why I'm calling I was cut off and told, "I need to know who you are because that's not information I can just give out." When I asked the name of the person I would need to contact in the future for picking up the supplies (assuming it to be the manager of the branch) she continued to be rude and short with me and as I thanked her for her time she just hung up without a word. I understand some information shouldn't be openly shared I do not think asking for a point of contact for the store is asking too much as well as the fact that I will be the person driving to the store to pick up these supplies. We are beyond greatful for Dollar Tree participating in helping our families but I am extremely disappointed that I was greeted with such rudeness. We ask our military members to volunteer their time and gas to pick these supplies up and I am not comfortable knowing that in the future we may be sending someone to a location where they will be treated with disrespect. Thank you for taking the time to read this statement.

Dollar Tree customer service rep - online purchase

On 6/26 Placed an order and received an email stating my "order was under review" on 6/27 i received another email stating my order is getting processed, on 7/5 I check in on the order and it stated the order was selected randomly to be reviewed by a manager and was cancelled without a reason. I asked for the supervisor as it is not an acceptable answer (Kristine 194497). I explained that I purchased this order while a shipping promotion was for 4.99 and i would like to reorder and receive the same shipping price, (originally shipping is $28) as my order was canceled with no apparent reason. She said that she cannot ship it at that price and that she could not help me at all. I asked to be provided for the reason for the cancellation, she would not provide, but will replace the order and i will just have to pay full shipping. I am thinking the shipping promo was just to get personal information into the system and cancel right away, to either get people into their stores or get more money out of people. Anyways, I asked for Kristine to let me speak with her manager but she said that her manager was not in today and that she will take my information down but most likely I will not hear back from them again. I am extremely offended by the customer service that I received today. I have never in my life been disrespected by an agent like I was today. How can an order be canceled without valid reason, just due to managers discretion? i was buying feathered butterflies. Weird and unacceptable.

Dollar Tree customer service

This is not a complaint but a compliment. I'm a regular shopper at the Mt.view store and never had I been greeted or helped the way I was a few days ago. The employee name badge said Laura, she was very helpful had a smile from ear to ear and she made me feel welcomed. I was pretty impressed that not only was she at the register but stocking the store and helping other customers as well. As a customer is like to say thank you for hiring this kind of employee please relay my gratitude.

Dollar Tree hiring process

I don't think it's really fair that there's only Hispanic ppl working in the one in 29 palms Cali and they don't hire any other race I've never seen any other race in there to be honest. The manager is Hispanic so she only hires her kind she can barley speak English. Cmon. I've applied and so have a few other ppl I know can you guys please have them get it together and be an eoe. Not being picky this is just what I'm witnessing it's not right there are ppl out here who need a job as well not just Hispanics and Mexicans

Dollar Tree service

On July 3, I took my wife and daughter to dollar tree here in our town. My daughter had a little more then $3 dollars in change and my wife had about the same. My wife and daughter were ready to pay and my wife decided to pay all at the same time, the cashier said to my wife that she can't except all that change unless its in rolls, I asked the cashier if there not enough to fill the rolls does that mean she can't buy anything, the cashier just said the next time she won't except it unless its in rolls and if don't like it I can go to family dollar or dollar general.. Now I have been a customer of dollar tree for as long as I can remember, and never had any one at any dollar tree give such an attitude over someone paying with lose change. I can understand if it was twenty dollars or more but it was four dollars in change. I enjoy dollar tree, I spend more money here then I do at any other store in town, but if that's the attitude that loyal customers receive then maybe dollar general or family dollar will be a better place to spend my money. I just hope that the next time I go that this young lady's attitude is different at store #6452..111 Belmont ave, mendota, ca. 93640.

Dollar Tree manager

This is about the Manager Michelle at the dollar tree in akron ohio on waterloo rd. I do not know her personally but for some reason she assumes very negative things about me. This is my favorite store and i shop there st least two, three times a week. But to feel unwelcomed and disrespected has made me try to contact someone over her head. She has told many workers there, WHO HAVE TOLD ME PERSONALLY. That she has said to them, To watch me because she is sure I'm stealing. When I don't steal, I don't have a criminal record and every time I come in there, I buy a great amount of things by credit, debit or cash. I feel so be littled because of her actions, and false opinions of me. Now other employees view me as a theft or possibly someone who steals based off of he say, she say, assumptions. To assume someone is stealing without TRULY knowing is basically accusing someone of false Doing. I started to hire and attorney but I felt something so major as to damage someones character was Extremely major, that contacting corporate would be the first step. I work TWO DAMN JOBS, TWO. AND I WILL NOT TOLERATE DISCRIMINATION AND IGNORANCE. IM HOPING THIS MATTER CAN BE HANDLED. ITS UNFORTUNATE THAT RACE, BIG NAME BRAND PURSES AND CONSISTENTLY SHOPPING AT A STORE MAKES SOMEONE ASSUME U ARE STEALING. THATS SAD. Please have a conversation with her as this will be my only warning to this company about her basis ways. Thanks so much for taking my words into consideration.

Dollar Tree customer service/restroom access

I was shopping at the store in Clawson, MI on 14 mile road on 7-3-18 at approximately noon. I had a cart full of items ready to purchase when my 7 year old asked to use the bathroom. I have seen other customers get access to the restroom there before so I asked the cashier if my child could please use the bathroom and she said "no". I clarified that we are making purchases and asked again if my child could please use the bathroom since we are paying customers. She replied "no". She was so rude and ridiculous. I left my items immediately and took my child home. I shop there quite often but will not return. I am familiar with Michigan laws surrounding public restroom access and I realize that it's not mandatory to allow such access whether the customer/guest is paying or not. However it's disturbing and absurd and seemingly discriminatory since I have seen other customers allowed to use it. It may be just as well that my child didn't use the bathroom there since the store is often dirty and in disarray most of the time. I can't imagine how gross the bathroom is.

Dollar Tree schedule

My manager Carmen always makes me work out side of my schedule. She have me stay 3 hours or more past my clock out time and she never asked me if I am willing to stay. She always calls me and say I have to come in to work at different time from what my schedule say. She tells me my schedule will not change and will remain the same than calls me and ask why I did not call for a new schedule. She tells me to call on sundays for my new schedule than tells me I am suppose to call on Fridays for my schedule. She does not even let me have a brake during the shift a few times and I have to take it upon me to have a brake and she gets angry and tells me I have more work to do and have to stay longer. She does not make a copy of the schedule for nor let me make a copy of the schedule. She tells me she will text it to me and she dont which lead me to have to call my boss. I told Carmen during the second week that if she keeps on contradicting tge schedule I will make a complaint to HR, she continue to not listen and tells me the store will still be open with out me around. Futher more I had waited with Mataio and Emmanuel Rodriguez since 12am and Carmen came to work drunk and lied about messaging us to be there at 2am, nor did she call. Emmanuel Rodriguez said this is not the first time these issues occured with the schedule. Carmen never even place my hours into compass for me to get paid which I had to call my Boss and inform him that I was missing hours from my check.

My name is Vincent Rodriguez and I am a employee at doller tree. My manager Carmen is a horrible manager . She never placed my hours so I can get paid. She always go against my schedule demanding me to come in to work at hours she want me to work. She never understand anything I tell her and at times I feel ignored. She speaks to co workers horrible. She dont even care to call and see why you did not come to work. At times she ask for rest to me and and tell me to come in later or she shows up laye like 2 hours lieing on employees. She means well I guess but clearly is a irresponsible manager with happiness one moment than rage the next.

Dollar Tree store manager

The store manager is lazy doesn't care is not physically fit to do the job treats other managers and employees horribly gives all the hours to favorite employees that go to her church give other employees who have been there since the store is open no hours expects them to live off of 12 hours a week not have a second job and always be available whenever she calls does not let employees get doctor's appointment days off when it needed only cares about the employees that goes to her church.

Dollar Tree recovery

I was traveling from Georgia going To Pensacola fl
Got to Greenville, Alabama to find a place to park cars it was raining hard so I saw a Dollar Tree over in a mini Mall when inside Was the disbelief and shock how Dollar Tree corporation can sit there and pay employees to do nothing for their store It was so disgusting it was not recovered for months it was totally trashy I have been in many Dollar Trees I love to shop them and never seen anything that disgusting who ever the DM is needs more training on how to control something like that

Dollar Tree very rude and lazy employee!!

I visited the dollar tree at 2103 kirkwood hwy. Wilmington, de [protected]; store # 5524 on sunday, 7/1/18 around 10:50 am. The staff member i'm complaining about did not have a name tag on but she is the only african american woman with a very short blonde boyish like hair cut.

A different cashier was ringing customers up and her line had about 3 people in it. Me being the 3rd person, I noticed the rude employee turned on her light. We made eye contact and I asked her is she open. She rudely told me, that I was already in line so stay where I was at. (I was the next & last customer in line, at that time). That made me very upset that she could be so rude & verbally aggressive over me, just asking her is she open. She is very unprofessional & unapprocahable which, made me very uncomfortable. Please hire people that want to work.

Dollar Tree customer service

I visited the store located off John Ralston/Holland today around 11am. The cashier was very nice. However the manager that didn't have a name badge on walking around on her ear piece cursing was very rude and unprofessional. This store is nasty. Boxing every where. The District Manager needs to be fired. This store is a store I use to like coming to now I'm rethinking Dollar Tree all together. Shopping carts are filled with go backs. The cashier there was very nice and helpful but the way I heard the manager speaking this morning I felt like I was in a good store.

Dollar Tree complaining on about customer service of an employee and long lines.

On July 1, 2018 I entered into a dollar's tree store at Poplar Plaza between Highland and Poplar Memphis Tennessee. The lines were long with about 12-15 people. The number on read 3476 I guess but store is S101. I only saw one cashier attending to customers so I asked are you only cashier. She stated"no" then I asked for manager. The manager come out of the office and asked what is the matter. I stated the same above information to her. She stated well I am clearing my draw and I askef do you have anyone else because you shouldn't have to stand in a long lines. She closed the door with no respects to my concern. I m forward this complaint to your office for matter to be addressed being professionals, courteous, helpful and be respectful should be Dollar's Tree motto. Dollar Tree dollar tree customer service

I went to dollar tree in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin today. July 2, 2018. At 1:00pm I went to buy two bags of chips, a bag of peanuts in the shell and two cold sodas. When I got to the cashier no asking me if I found everything ok. When it was time to pay i used my bank card. The first i tried debit and it was declined. So I tried credit three other times and still declined. The manager at that time was rude. He said do you having money on the card. I said yes $5.45 is left on the card. Then he said rude do you have cash I said no. I walked out of the store And I said I take my business somewhere else.

Dear Consumer Affairs Manager

I wish to lodge a complaint against your employee/s of store # 5305 located at 2294 Nostrand Ave. Brooklyn N.Y. [protected].
While waiting at the cash register on the morning of 06/27/2018, cashier Porsha (not wearing a name tag), instructed me to remove the store's basket that I rested on a garbage container in an empty cashier station. I requested that she prefaced her instruction with the word "please". She refused, and referred me to a gentleman (again, not wearing a name tag). At that time I requested to speak to the manager.
The gentleman whose name I later learned was Derrick, said that he was the manager, but refused to give me his name. I told him I would lodge a complaint at the Store's corporate headquarters. He said, "Go ahead! They won't do anything".
So I walked across and knocked on the office door. A young lady, (again, not wearing a name tag) who gave her name as Tina, said she was the Manager.
After explaining that it was the third time that Porsha, rudely ordered me, and other customers to place the baskets in designated areas, Tina explained that it was because of a safety issue that baskets should be placed in safe areas. However, she did not address, or apologize for Porsha's discourtesies. I further pointed out that she (Porsha) refused to cash-out my intended purchases at her register. Tina apprised me that that Porsha had that "right", and consequently, she (Tina) would cash-out my purchases, which she promptly did.
Please enlighten as to your corporate policies regarding such discourtesies experienced at store #5305, that were condoned by Manager Tina. Is this "business as usual", and conduct enshrined in your corporate treatment of customers?

Im appeal termination decisions to terminate me on hearsay complaint.ive been with dollar tree 4 years never got any write ups .they just terminated me without written explanation they refuse to send me any paper work .i appeal to owner of dollar tree.i think is unfair.there was discrimination dont speak spanish the Mananger told me.and ive never got a write up

Dollar Tree employee training / customer safety

On 7/1/18 at around 2:00 PM, my family and I were in your store located at 1420 E. Florida Ave, Hemet Ca. While waiting in line for check out, a verbal fight broke out between one of your cashers and a very irate customer. The longer it went on, the louder it got. Both shared in vulgar shouting of words like "Niger and [censored] You" over and over again. I moved to another line and asked the casher to call the police. She told me that only the store manager was authorized to make such a call. When I found the "manager", I was informed the she also needed authorization to call the police. The shouting got louder and both sides were threatening to call in friends and family members to get a more physical violent resolution. The store is located in a heavily populated gang area. The whole time your "manager stood to the side and did absolutely nothing. She told me to mind my own business or just leave. Both my daughter and I are in wheelchairs, quickly moving or protecting my family is next to imposable. Other customers heard my request to simply call the police and decided to leave their baskets and got out. I asked again for the "manager" to call the police and was informed that if anything happened, it would be recorded on stores security camera. I feel that it would not have helped to see the aftermath. We, as well as other customers will never shop that store again. I bring this to your attention to suggest safety training should be done on how to respond to an incident like that to protect your employees and customers like me. I do request a response from you on your thoughts.

Dollar Tree store #2220

I've always gone to the Beaverbrook store which was always clean. Now that that store is gone I went to the store above, big mistake. It was my first and last time there. The store shelves were empty trash was down every row on floor just a mess. The lastest Dollar Tree don near Lowe's on track 13 the shelves were empty. I will have to wait to my store is rebuilt in order to go into a clean and stocked shelf store.

Dollar Tree holly, michigan store

Was suprised when I got to the Holly, Michigan Dollar Tree, that is suppose to open at 10am and still isn't open at 10:50am. There is an employee who has been here since 9:30am waiting to work. I called the Fenton, Michigan store and they called who ever is in charge of this store, but had to leave them a message. I can say watching all the cars pull in and out that alot of business and money have been lost. Very disappointed as this is my go to store.
