Dollar Tree extremely poor service

The dollar tree on 555 state st Springfield ma has a young man working at 7 pm on Friday July 14 who was very rude and hung up on my face on3 seperate occasions I asked if he had mirrors in the store he said that he had a lot of customers in front of him I asked if he was able to answer my question he proceeded to say he could not hear me I spoke louder and he told me my phone was messed up I have a brand new phone I recently purchased he then hung up . I called again and he let it ring for more then a minute he then answered but did not say anything . I hung up and called for the last time he answered I asked if he had a manager I could speak to and he said that he does not and that he told me already he couldn't hear me and that my phone was breaking up and hung up on me again . I do know good customer service and it's unfortunate that one can not call your store to find out a simple question .

Dollar Tree I am not complaining about your products in complaining about a manager.

I was at your store in chestnut commons in elyria ohio which I frequent several times a week. One cashier was working and had a line. A couple purchased 15 balloons, the cashier requested help from her manger whose name was jewel. The manager who was stocking shelves acknowledged she heard her request. After waiting several minutes and the cashier repeatedly apologizing to other customers I went to the manager jewel and asked if she was going to assist customers and her associate. After she huffed and puffed and literally drug her feet to the registers she assisted the couple with their balloons. I am a nurse and I perform customer service everyday and by far that was the saddest display if leadership and customer service I have ever witnessed. It is sad that a customer has to request that a store manger stop stocking shelves that were already stocked to assist the customer which is what your business needs to survive. I will definitly think twice beforw walking into that store Gain to apend my money.

Dollar Tree wine glasses

I was in your California Maryland store on 7/11/17. I had 8 wine glasses which were located behind multiple boxes of items. There was a $.59 tag in front of the glasses. I had to actually get my granddaughter to reach in and get the glasses for me. When I got to the register the glasses rang as $1.oo. I informed the cashier that the sign said $.59. She talked with Keyona who was the store manager and she when back to look at he sign. Keyona came back and said that price was for coke glasses. There was no coke glasses on the shelf and the sign was in front of the wine glasses. The detail of the sign were unreadable from where I stood because of all the merchandise in front of it. I believe I should have been charged $.59 because the sign was in front of the glasses I purchased and because the sign was not readable to know that it was placed in the wrong place. I was in the store that day before also and all of the isles had merchandise in the isles and made in hard for customers to get around in the store. I have picture to show the merchandise in the isle and to show that the sign indicatimng $.59.

I shop in this store quite often and on this visit I placed several items in my cart and at this time i had 4 bottles of Body Wash bottles in my hands ready to put them in my cart when this employee started yelling at me (very loudly) about opening some other bottles. I never opened anything and did not even look at what she was accusing me of. I told her several times that I had not opened anything, yet she continued to berate me. Another lady came by and said she did he same thing to her. Yet there were kids running all over the store handling and opening items. She said nothing to their parents who were not watching their children. This loud woman named Christine is always yelling at the customers.
Additionally they were offering a discount.for today only. I made my purchases and put them in the car remembering I had forgotten a few things. I returned to the store and picked up the things i had forgotten when this Christine approached me again and said I had already received my discount and could not get it again. She followed me to the cashier and made sure that i did not get the discount. My husband was with me and he made this purchase. When I returned home I looked up the discount and it stated one per customer, not one household as she had indicated. I was very upset when I left the store and wanted to post a complaint to corporate yet could not find an email address. I think all businesses should have some address so you will be able to file a complaint.

Dollar Tree worker harassment

Can someone kindly inform the employees at store #4840 at 1959 State Road 7, Hollywood Fl,
33023
that customers don't want to chat with them about their personal lives? Once an employee refused to give me my receipt unless I said hello to her, saying that "I didn't talk to her enough". Another time a different employee asked me if she could have my change. They should act professionally and not irritate people.
Another example can be found at 7/10/17, at 20:57 in which an employee decided to lunge across the counter and starts waving her hands too near my face, asking me what I planned to do with the items I was buying. I asked her to leave me alone, and she then said that I shouldn't come to the store unless I wanted to talk to her. I didn't say anything at all, and she then refused to bag some of my items and threw my change on the counter, also claiming that I smelled, I have to say if I smelled bad she shouldn't want to talk to me. I only said thanks and then I left. If you guys have cameras you can see this activity, also I'd appreciate a gift card for having to listen to and write this nonsense. People come to a store to shop and buy things, they shouldn't be harassed by the workers.

Dollar Tree service

Every time I go into the Pitkin Ave. store in Brooklyn they have long lines and only one person working the register. The manager is always in his office and I have NEVER seen him come out to help the line. I just walked in a few minutes ago and saw the long line again and people upset and I walked out again. I am going to stop going to this store until they get more help and a NEW WORKING MANAGER.

I applied this product to my cat per the instructions on the back of the package. With in 4 hours my cats hair, where I applied the product, fell out! He has 4 bald spots now and his skin is red & inflamed! If I can attach photos to show you my cat's pain I would...your company should not make/carry this product at all! My cat means the world to me, not only is he my pet but is also my companion animal for my Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He plays a very important role in my ability to handle life. This product has injured my car and want someone to answer for it!

Dollar Tree service of employee

I went to dollar tree store #1852. My cashier, Anette, was extremely rude to multiple customers. The man in front of me said he freqents that dollar tree and hasnt seen her before, she said shes been there for months but "only works 5-6 hours a week and thats enough for me". He took his things and left. I had 15 items and she never looked at me or spoke to me, but she was trying to have a conversation with a customer behind me and my friend. She even took out her phone trying to find pictures while ringing my items up! I gathered my things (she handed me my receipt without looking at me either) i waited on my friend who asked her to start ringing her items up as she was in a hurry to get home. The employee handed her phone to the customer she was trying to talk to and told her to "open her instagram app". She was hastily rining my friend up and seemed to be ringing items up wrong. Ive never seen a ruder employee at a dollar tree. I wont be returning to that store. If i see this employee at another store, i wont shop there either. She hates her job & ruined my shopping with my friend with her hateful attitude.

Dollar Tree red drinking mugs

I purchased two red drinking mugs, but after washing them they start peeling off like cellophane. I did not have my receipt from the store, but I thought I would be able to exchange them for plain glasses. The store clerk stated that she would have to call the manager. When I told them that they started to peel when I wash them. The Clerk stated "You washed them, we can not take them back after you washed them, and besides they were only $1.00 each. I have bought many things at Dollar Tree and was never treated so rudely by the clerk and manager. Don't everyone wash their glasses before drinking out of them. I think you need to make sure that all of your mugs and glasses that are colored do not peel. The store that I went to was on Wilson Mills Road in Richmond Hts., Ohio.

Dollar Tree employees working off the clock

So I work at 04861 ...kannapolis NC ..My store manager has been on vacation for a week. Darning that week our part time asst mgr was in the store many times and many hours and not even getting paid...Ask around Darning the week of 7/2 threw 7/8. Now if someone is crazy to work for free ..we normally I would be like it's you no one has told you, you got to work for free.. So why am I complaining ..1) this mgr has been told repeatedly not to work off the clock by SM.(2) Customers think we have more help in store and that employee won't help..How do I as a non management employee to say ? Ummmmm well she is not really suppose to be here she off ...Then the customer gets mad because of it at ME..Well why can't she be off over here helping us getting out of here ..I am floored that the excuse is the full time asst Manager doesn't fell ...So my opinion have her go home and you clock in and help ..(3) the fact that they complain about the same stuff we have to get done and we do it and more ..we always have better numbers than them. And they get to bring in free help ..Why can my friends not co. Help me do my job they are just sitting on couch with nothing to do lol...I am sure you get my drift ...(4) I would think it's got to be policy as much as SM ask are you on the clock? Did you clock in yet ? No you can't do anything until your scheduled time you are not on the clock. So I must say dollar tree wants you to get paid for what you do, just sometimes feels like there idea of enough help is different than ours ...
It just makes it harder on cashiers and freight team to know who we are suppose to call or ask ...they us feel like idiots when you say hey can you ? Response is ; no I am off the clock ...But you can help a manager not us...just doesn't seem to be helping at all working without getting paid just more to explain and figure out...(5) but I promise as long as the two do this the pt asst mgr keeps going out to smoke with ft asst mgr and when we need them well no need to call a code cause they can't hear you out side ...ok so why do I come here to complain about free help? Well I can go to mgr but she has to wait until she sees it .. Because no security cams here ...so please unless we all can bring our own help or maybe y'all consider allowing a little more staff let's all just get paid for what we do...Mgrs should set the example for us ...policy is there for a reason...follow it ! Or don't inforce employees to .

Dollar Tree employee named chris at store #4557

Today 7/8/17 the power at store #4557 shut down due to a storm. While waiting for the register system to reboot, cashier Antwan was very friendly and consoling with regards to our wait. However, cashier Chris was very rude, suggesting that our items were not worth the wait and that had it been him in our shoes he would just leave. Chris made myself and other customers feel unwelcome and rushed to leave. Chris's behavior was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. Please coach Chris on how to be more welcoming and friendly towards Dollar Tree customers like Antwan was. I would not like another dissatisfying experience. Thank you.

Dollar Tree an employee

I was at the dollar tree on Broadway in Cleveland Ohio 44127.. I am pretty sure the managers name is John.. I was in the store and another customer had asked me if they had phone cases I stated if they do they were probably down the aisle with chargers. And employee by the name of Wanda embarrassed me in front of a crowd of customers by stating I don't work there.. and if I'm going to direct customers to direct them into the correct. Aisle in front of at least twelve people I am very upset and distraught over this I shop at Dollar tree on almost a daily basis for all my household needs.. this is enough to make me quit going there.

My name is David Miller. I am the merchandise manager for Dollar Tree on West Markham in Little Rock Arkansas. Dollar Tree treatment by supervisor

I shop frequently. A few minutes ago I was finished shopping and noticed only one light on at register 1. Register 4 had people in line also but the line was shorter...None the less I stayed in line at number 1 thinking the other was closed. Then a lady got in that line and they let her through. I went to that line and Marylin abruptly told me it was closed. Hmmm. So I am in line again at #1 when a man wants to bring an expensive looking bike inside for safe keeping when Marylin barks at the man, "NO BIKES IN THE STORE!" She was so rude to him. I wonder if this a woman's liberation experiment. Only women working, and men were treated rudely by a supervisor. Nancy however who was my cashier was wonderful. People should know what to expect when shopping... Hopefully this will make folks aware.

Dollar Tree service - management

On July 03, 2017 late afternoon, I purchased several pieces of ceramic dinnerware. I soon found out how ridiculous the customer service is at this location. We were informed by the young male cashier (quote) "I'm sorry we do not have anything to wrap these in" (to which I replied) "that's okay, just put them in separate bags" (The reply from him I received was--quote) "I'm not allowed to do that, sorry" (quote) "We ask for customers to bring back the newspaper we use to wrap, but they don't!" Unfortunately, with only one register open a sizable line is forming. I asked if he could at least use one of the empty boxes behind him and he proceeded to stack all the ceramic dishes in that one box. As a prior retail business owner, I would surely want to know how my store was being managed for customer service There are three locations in my area and the other two appear to be managed very differently that this one. I visited and purchased from all three this particular day to get the matching pieces needed. The register must have needed a new tape as well, since the receipt is difficult to decipher, however it appears this store number is #2532. I would like to give kudos to the other two locations (#2071 and #986) Please understand this is for constructive criticism only as I do not wish to create any problem for anyone with their employmnent, however perhaps some management training in customer service, not to mention logical decision making may create a better environment for all concerned. I do know that a "dollar store" doesn't have to compromise in customer service. Thank you for your time.

Dollar Tree cashiers intimidating and rude

Store #5411 Lawrenceville GA
I was standing last inline, this woman opened her register so i walked over to her side. Next she made a huge scene saying outloud " Sir, he is next not you." Causing a huge scene. This woman is intimidating and rude. On another occasion i was shopping there, i over heard her yelling outloud, "it smelks like a french [censor] in here" her coworkers turned and looked at each other laughing saying" shes crazy" This womans name is Donna, old white caucasian lady. Quite frankly ive worked for this company before, and this is a family environment. So i expect decent people to be employeed here, not an old rude hag making misconductive outbursts infront of shoppers.

Dollar Tree employee

Filing a complaint against Employee Lisa Lewis at Galesburg IL Store on Henderson St.
She is domineering to employees and some customers. She has been trying to intimate employees as well as me. (Husband of employee) She has shared personal information about one employee to another.
Most recently made my wife stay past her scheduled time to punch out to cover another employee that did not show up for work. Resulting in plans that was scheduled after her shift.
The night this happened, i called store to talk to my wife and Lisa Lewis answered phone. I did Not say who i was. I just asked to speak with Lisa Schoenbein. ( my wife). She immediately said i will get her out of her soon as i can. I did Not want to speak to Lisa Lewis. But she started in anyway. So i told her how disrespectful she is and it is hard enough to plan or schedule anything when this store dose Not make schedule out no more then 7 days out. Also now that Lisa Lewis is upset with me, she changed my wife schedule This Saturday July 1st from 10 to 2 to 2 30 to 9. She is just trying to get back at me. She also told my wife that Jeff the Manager, was the one that changed schedule. My wife asked Jeff about this and he did not know anything about this. So Lisa Lewis lied about this.
This store is like High School Drama. Other employees have not been treated fairly nor equally.
I feel Lisa Lewis should be made to step down to hourly and striped of authority to do what she presently has been doing. For public relations is not her strong suit.
Any questions please feel free to email me at [protected]@yahoo.com or phone [protected].
I hope that something will be done to make this store a better place to shop and work.
Thank You.

Charlie

Dollar Tree manager 2938

I am a very long standing loyal customer. This incident occurred on June 30, 2017 at 10:00am. Diston Plaza 3701 49th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 I came in and seen the store manager yelling at her employee talking very rudely to her. The line was very long only one cashier I asked the manager could she open another register and she looked at me and rudely and said no we cannot as the line of customers is growing. Meanwhile the Manager came to bark out orders Her demeanor was very abrasive and challenging not professional at all. I proceed to ask the manager could she blow up me a few balloons (again with a very negative attitude) she replied I'm going on break. You have to hold on and never helped me she just walked away, Not very professional for a Manager. I feel for the new cashier if this person is teaching her the "ropes" what is more frightening is how does she treat her customers. I never spoke to any of my clients in this manner no matter the situation. I don't make it a habit to try to annoy a person but what bothers me the most is the lack of respect for another person. Hopefully someone will address this issue with her may be provide more training or maybe she is in the wrong field.
