Dollar Tree manager

Hello hopefully this reaches Corp office. The manager who runs the store she's an older black woman named Lucy. I come in the store mostly every other day. The way she speaks to her employees in front of customers is highly unprofessional . She told lordess she was stupid for not moving what she called UBoat that she placed in front of her checkout area.

I walked in one evening & Lucy was standing outside as usual smoking and drinking her coffee. With one cashier the young woman's line was down the main isle. The young was moving as fast as she could. Lucy enters the building and is clearly upset about the line & instantly starts calling her out embarrassing her because she could not get the line down "you need backup an idiot can see that" . She than gets on register 3 . My concern is how dare she speak to her employees like that. How could the young woman call for back up if she's outside taking multiple personal breaks. Her stockers aren't properly dressed ( no work shirt) I shouldn't walk in a store & ask hey do you work here ? She is completely rude & unmannered. She need a boss check.

Dollar Tree store employee brenda

I was treated in a dehumanizing manner. I felt it was racially motivated.Shame on you Dollar Tree for allowing one of your employees to treat someone in this way! I have been shopping at this store for years, definitely going to rethink it though. I will shop at the other one, as it is closer to my house and I have never been insulted or been demeaned there.

Dollar Tree not rehireable

I was an employee at hillsboro tx 76645 and my name is Crystal Warden i was under the last name Choate at the time. i quit the store do to sexual harrasment so i walked at the lady manager that is still a manager there her name is Brenda she grabbed me by my arm and told me i couldnt leave. I told her i was leaving the job do to the supervisor his name was James and he does not work there anymore. My problem is now im not rehireable for another store. I had a job intervierw for Dollar tree in Rockwall Tx and would appreacite it if you could reverse that so I can work there I have 3 kids to take care of and im a single parent. Im asking this with all do respect i loved working for Dollar Tree when I did I just refused to be treated in an abuse of manner I could of filied charges on both employees but didnt want the problem which now I regret not doing.

Dollar Tree the manager of the east patchogue ny store

On September 15 I went to your east Patchogue NY location. I had a cart full of items to purchase even though navigating the store was challenging as there was debris and unpacked stock blocking several aisles. But I was used to that as I am a frequent customer and this store is always a terrible mess. I stopped in the book section and was looking and opening a few books I also noticed a few books that had slipped between the shelf and the end of shelf as there was a gap and several books had fallen I retrieved them and because there was no room for them among the other books I placed them lying down in front of the books. I chose the books I wanted to purchase placed them in my cart and proceeded to push my cart away..as I was doing so I heard a voice behind me saying Ma'am! Ma'am! I turned around and your manager starts accusing me of messing up the book area..at first I was surprised..was he watching me the entire time I was looking at the books was he waiting to pounce ...so I turned around and explained to him about the fallen books and how I didn't know where to place them..he started blaming me for the disarray in the entire store..so I went back to the shelf and tried to fix the books as he kept chastising me. I finally told him how dare he think he could talk to me like that and that he needs to take ownership for the condition of the store at this point he kept yelling so I started to walk away telling g him he is crazy and kept repeating myself to drown out his verbal attack on me as I walked away. I then went to the cashier to pay and told the woman behind the counter and she was so sweet and apologized for him. I then called your corporate offices several times and left my name and number and a short synopsis of the event..I still have heard from no one. I have to also tell you that a few months earlier while shopping in this store this same manager was yelling openly at an employee in front of customers and then again and this is really disgraceful another visit he not only yelled at an employee he fired them in front of several customers. Can you imagine how humiliated and degraded this person must have felt...clearly your manager is in a position that is not suitable for his personality..he is an angry and aggressive individual who needs help. I'm very disturbed by these events and I'm positive you have received complaints about him from others. I enjoy The Dollar tree very much but I am afraid to return to this store which is sad because it's s very convenient place for me to shop. I went there on a typical shopping trip and was wandering the messy aisles happily until this angry man ruined it. Shame on him and Shame on your company if you continue to allow this man to interact with customers like this. I do not know this man's name but the description I can offer you is he is approximately in his mid 40's somewhat overweight with thinning light colored hair. I'm sure you know who he is. Dollar Tree defamation of character

I, steven Lee Stokley have been a customer at Dollar tree for numerous years and have never had a complaint nor accusation of wrongdoing, but when I enter the store at 4609 so Ashland Chicago il 60609 the manager named Bernita broke heart and spirit toward shopping there. she ran up behind when I went to refrigerator to pickup lemonade and orange juice and stated I cannot service you, at first I thought she was playing but I said to myself I don't know this lady, I preceded to accessory aisle and grab a brush but she continue to harass with the I cant service you remarks and than she said im calling 911, and I said politely, for what, she whisper to a customer he rack up all the time here, when I heard that it really broke my heart to hear that because I have never shoplifted or racked up in my 56 years of life. I waited 20 minutes and they didn't arrived, she remained quiet, so I went outside and flagged police down and they told me to wait outside when they went inside. they came out and said she had a ran in with you before and don't want you in there or you will be arrested. please find out what this about because if you check cameras and complaints she has the wrong guy and im trying to go to court with potential harassment charge Steven Stokley [protected] [protected]@yahoo.com

Dollar Tree store manager harassment

good after noon
my name is Frank and I wanted to submit a harassment complaint against one of the store managers in the store that's located in 9255 sw 40 st Miami FL [protected]. I didn't get the store managers name but she was harassing customers and employees specially on one of the assistant managers named Luis Francisco. he has been working in that store for more than 14 years and has never had to deal with a person like that. the store manager harassed him multiple times calling him a bad worker, sassy, and talks down on him like he was worthless. the manager is trying to push him to fire him. the manager humiliated luis in front of workers and customers. I seen the managers make him do things thats not under his job description. I don't want luis leaving the store because he really is a great hard working individual that makes the store run smoothly. please need the issue to be resolved specially the manager harasses the customers too.

I went to this store to get some ballons and the employee Alissa scream and yelling to me disrespected and im never be treated that way in any store, and I told the manager and the manager told help that she have to help me and went she go to get the ballons for me im feel so bad with shes actitud, she went to help in bad manner, she doing the ballons harder and broke the color cord, she dont care and give to me, i told her was broken and in bad way she get another and almost throwed to me, her face was horrible like she want to kill me, in one time i feel my live was in danger, scared !

Dollar Tree stocked shelves in santa fe, nm

I don't know who's running these stores but it's ridiculous! Over the past months, the boxes to be unloaded are in the aisle. The places look like a bomb went off. So we can never find what used to be in their places. Then if youj're lucky enough to find what you want on a shelve, then the line is 10+ long to get out and mostly only one checker. I have left more than once as I have better things to do.
These stores are so bad, the shelves that are not refurbished have been that way for a week now?
Who the hell is managing these stores?

Dollar Tree appearance at the door

The amount of garbage in front of a business place which should be kept clean with the amount of people that come through this DOLLAR TREE to spend money. I asked The cashier why is all the garbage there and she says she's addressed the issue to the manager and he says he doesn't care. Dollar Tree silly string toy spray

We bought several cans of this silly string (different colors) for my grand child's birthday party yesterday. When a few of the children started to spray the string, black stuff came out instead. It had an awful smell. I am deathly allergic to mold, so my first reaction was to get it off me. Some of the children had it on their necks, faces, arms and clothes. I immediately went to the hose to scrub the stuff off. It would not come off. In the meantime, my arm started to turn bright red, itch and started to swell. I tried to wash and scrub it off with soap and water and it wouldn't all come off. I had to use my husbands industrial strength soap that he uses to fix the car. It burnt my skin using it but the black finally came off. My arm was still swollen, red and itchy. I have a special cream to put on it, which I did and it went back to normal after a few hours. I contacted the others that had it on them and the 4 children and 2 other adults that had it told me that it was so hard to get off that they left their children soaking in a tub as long as they could stand it. It never came off the clothes. What I should have done was gone to the emergency room so this could have all been documented. This junk is a hazard to some of us. If it causes reactions to skin, stays on the skin not being able to be scrubbed off, has an awful smell and ruins clothes than don't you think it should be taken off the shelves? I'm hoping this post gets to someone in high places and that it also warns other parents not to buy this. I certainly won't ever buy it. It's junk!

Dollar Tree I am complaining about the store appearance.

I recently went shopping at the dollar tree store #6153. I can barely walk down the aisle, boxes and garbage were everywhere. I notice the stores arent maintained in high poverty neighborhoods. It's not fair to the hard working customers. Something needs to change. If this matter is left unaddressed I am force to make this public by going to the media.

Dollar Tree store manager - leaha - buffalo grove, il - defamation of character / slander / discrimination

I am contacting you as a previous employee of Dollar Tree (Dundee Rd in Buffalo Grove IL) On Friday Sept 21, 2018 a current co-worker of mine (Tammy) had an interview with Leaha (Store Manager). During the interview Leaha asked her where she is currently employed Tammy responded. Leaha then asked if Tammy knew who I was. Tammy's response was yes I work with him. From this point on Tammy's interview was not about Tammy it was Leaha slandering me and bad mouthing me. A complete defamation of character, insults, and unacceptable behavior from a store manager. After almost 45 mins of Leaha (store Manager) slandering me and my name she then told Tammy sorry but I am going a different way. This is discrimination by association. Both Tammy (interviewee) and myself have legal rights to file suit against both Dollar Tree and Leaha (store manager) for slander, defamation of character and discrimination as YOUR Store Manager was completely OUT OF LINE and should not be a manager. If I do not hear back from Corporate regarding this matter with in 5 business days I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and my attorney.

Dollar Tree nothing in store/ poor checkout/ no management

On Friday September 21, around 516-530 pm. My granddaughter and I drove up to Fairmont MN Dollar Tree. We got out of the car and we heard a child screaming for their mom. I was going to ask if they needed help but as we walked to the store I noticed that they went in back doors that were open and by a semi truck. I went in the store and WHAT A MESS! Books, dvds, Christmas decorations and Halloween decorations and thanksgiving stuff! There's nothing on the shelves. And as for the cashier who was working there Friday between 510-530 pm was rude to a lot of people. Music was blaring in a room could hear it by the cards and the plastic party items.
I seen that the children were ok as they were walking around with a older woman from the store. No name tags were on for me to look at.
First and last time I will go there. I will advise on that the store is empty and staff is rude

Dollar Tree how dirty the store is no one seem to mind

I went to two dollar tree in conyers 30013 in big lots palaza and it was so much junk on the floor no one picked up boxes the worst part it was just boxes no one on the floor putting anything up floor was dirty no vaccm from night before no pride that said this was my store (do dm's check the stores) or is managers just left in it. So I went to dollar tree by stone crest hoping I could find what I needed but no luck but this store look 10x worst im like in totally shock how two stores on two different end be left to look like and my thoughts was no one cares not the dm, mod, not even employees and for the must part I guess not the customer we just shop and pray we don't fall and wee can find an item and dturn our blind eyes on when we go in and trurn them back on we leave just happy we made it out with out breaking a leg

Dollar Tree employee

The Dollar Tree on Fillmore ave between Bailey and Fillmore in Buffalo, Ny has a horrible cashier and the manager is just as bad. Everytime I go in there the cashier is trying to make friends with me and because I don't want to make friends she becomes attitudinal. I finally reported it to the manager and she said if you don't come back you don't have anything to worry about. I told her I don't deserve to be treated with disrespect. I'm spending my money as a customer and I don't need this bulls$##!.

Dollar Tree horrible customer service

On 9/22/2018 myself and another person were in the 3486 State St Schenectady, NY store, it was extremely busy, one register was open, they opened another and proceeded to take the 20 people behind us and emptied the store, while we who had been in line waited, Anthony who claims to be the store manager then came out and took a person walking up to the registers before he took us- at that point we chose to leave our items and leave but not before pointing out to him the poor customer service at which he laughed and said sorry...we overlooked half the things wanted to buy we couldn't reach because of the boxes stacked in front of shelves, the sheer dirtiness of the store was appalling.

Dollar Tree customer service of employee

I am disabled. I was in the new Dollar Tree in Asbury Park, NJ. I am also a former customer service representative. I encountered and employee named Mel. I love the store and I am in there on a daily basis. This woman is the rudest person I have ever met. I was in there with both of my grandsons and their mother. She was yelling at them for crying. They are babies 18 months and 3 months
She also proceeded at yelling me for trying to use my debit card and cash. I should be ashamed for allowing them to cry? I was told and would not allow me to do a cash split. Dollar Tree customer service

Hello- I was in your Coldwater Michigan store today (9/21/18) and was extremely disappointed. First, this is one of the most disorganized Dollar Tree I have been in.

Secondly, when I got in line to purchase my items, it was fairly long and there was only 1 employee cashing outs customers, however, there was 2 other employees working. Both of those employees were standing at the end of the line were customers were being cashed out and talking about if the rain was done and what work they were going to bring out for the cashier to do when she wasn't busy, when in fact the cashier was the only employee actually doing any work at that time. They went on talk about the Halloween display and clearing seeing that there was a long line of customers waiting to be checked out. (Customers do not want to hear about what work they are bringing out for employees nor should they be privy to that.)

I waited in line for at least 10 minutes to be checked out. The customer standing in line in front of me even turn to me and stated that it would have been nice for one of the employees to open up another line and cashed out customers instead of standing there talking.

Needless to say as I was finally getting checked out, one of the other employee finally opened up another register, however, the line then was not nearly as long as it had been when they were standing there talking. Thank you.

Dollar Tree messy store

I am on a few pages for Dollar Tree arts and craft ideas. People in other states post their arts section in their store to show all the cool stuff and tell how much they spent, what they are making etc. Well, I realized our store not only doesnt have near the products that other stores do, but we can't find anything 98% of the time due to clutter, mess and carts full of boxes. I thought cause it was a dollar store it was just a trashy place. But apparently its just our store. I took pics today but unfortunately, while messy, this was a neat day for them. I wish I'd taken pics 2 weeks ago when I went in as it would be more accurate. Also, their wait lines are huge, I shopped and left without buying cause I had to go, couldnt wait in a 20 person deep line with full carts when I had 8 items.

Dollar Tree ac not working

The Nacogdoches, TX store is extremely hot. As a shopper, I was very uncomfortable & can tell you that I was sweating in just the short time I was there. I can't imagine how the employees manage to work there with only fans running in the store. It's stifling.

A business in TX MUST have air conditioning. When it went out, the manager should have notified someone to repair or replace the AC ASAP.

If you, in corporate are dragging your feet, then try spending even 10 mins in a store with no windows, no AC & 90 degree heat outside. Now imagine having to work for hours in that heat. You'll understand why this is a problem. I was told by a friend who shops there regularly that their AC has been out for several days. This is unacceptable.
