Dollar Tree dollar tree associate

I stopped by the Dollar Tree in Chester, VA on Jefferson Davis Highway at approximately 2:00pm. on August 2, 2017 to purchase some birthday balloons for my daughter. I asked the employee working "can I get some balloons?" He rudely said, you can if you used the proper grammar and ask "May I " instead. I said ok, whatever. Then while he was annoyingly assisting me, another gentleman customer came over and asked if he was the balloon guy and again he was rude and said "No, I'm not the balloon guy, I'm a human being." The customer looked puzzled and and asked if he was joking and he said, no, I'm not joking. The customer walked away and said he was taking his business somewhere else because he didn't have to take that.

This employee is not good for business, and may speak to someone at the wrong time and chaos may break out in the store around innocent people. Please discipline this employee or better yet remove him from the store.

Dollar Tree an employee

Was checking out at my local dollar tree in Cicero NY ( # 2578) on 8/02/2017 around noon when this male employee ..Paul.. Was such a rude person to his female Mgr. . All she did was explain what was to be done on his shift from start to finish and he was throwing a verbal fit like a 12 year old teen. Saying it wont get all done and if his higher up boss doesn't like it he can fire him also that obviously he doesn't realize how busy a wed afternoon can be to ask for such a task to be performed . The female manager was very fair and firm with the response as to .. Don't disrespect me and if this is an issue he can go home and she will stay to finish the shift and notify the higher GM.. The woman cashing me out ( Cindy ) was so embarrassed as this was being said in front of a line of costumers. Even apologized .. As the two ladies continued to cash out people he just stood there back talking out loud.
Why the hell is this guy still employed there? Made it awkward for all. This is not the first time I have had to listen to his loud verbal tantrums. I will continue to shop at this store because of the other great staff and products. How ever if I see or hear Paul back talk out loud again I will say something in the regards of being a grown man and act like one.. Then make a call to higher up.. No one deserves to work with this guys BS or have your costumers feel awkward for just being there..

Dollar Tree dollar tree stores

I was in the Irvington, NJ location this evening and i was notified by a manager to leave my company bag at the front of the store. I am seriously appalled by this as two other customers moments later walked pass with backpacks on their back with no type of notice given. Moreover, as I notified the manger on duty about the two customers with backpacks on in plain view there was a selective disregard to the "Profiling" that was demonstrated towards me. The statements then made were that we are aIl women employees and we have the right to enforce whatever policy we choose towards any customer for any reason without an explanation. I must say that if corporate does not correct this issue it can incurr serious legal obstacles concerning discrimination under Title VII 1964 and other vicarious liability clauses enacted in law.

Dollar Tree counterfeit detector pens, it's basic [censor]!

Was in the Capitol Heights, Med. Store today and had an ugly thing happened to me. I tendered a $100 bill for my purchase and the Store Manager Angela refused to take it. Not because she didn't have the change, but because I was black. And the read is..she's black. Look! There are basic things that should be in place so you guys can do your jobs in a professional manager. And having some type of Counterfeit Detector Pen at the point of sale would be great. The store manager Angela lookd at me and said she couldn't take my money. Counterfeit pens would be great, stop taking it out on the customer

Dollar Tree customer service

On the morning of 7/19/17 at 8:23 am I shopped at your # 5034 Store. One cashier only. I arrived home and realized I did not have my wallet. Thinking back I thought I left it at the belt of the checkstand since I got a call and picked up my phone. Went back and Richard said he did not see one. I left my information with the manager to call me if found.
I was frustrated at this point, since I had all my credit cards, drivers license and about 300 dollars in cash in it. I went back again later and asked the manager if you had camera surveillance, and she said no, not there. Looking up I saw cameras and let it be. I felt that she did not care to help me I said I may have to file a police report because I think the wallet was on the belt and moved under the scale. She file a report if you want to but we dont have surveillance there .
I let a few times and only got thru once last week to see if anyone turned it in.
Phone rings no answer almost every time I called.
I called and left a message at your customer service number. No one returned my calls. Very unhappy with the level of customer service I received there or the follow thru . I now have all my credit cards cancelled and not worried about the money I lost but will never go back there again due to the low level of customer service and no courtesy or express of concern for what I have been put thru.

Dollar Tree manager on duty

At the checkout line was all the way to the middle of the store, register 1 was the only one that was open.
I went up from the end of the line to register 1 and asked the woman if there was anyone else that could open a second register. Next allowed voice was heard "I can help someone at register 2" I spoke up and directed people and said "the next person in line can go to register number 2" I was about fifth person back, and when I got to the register I tried to give the woman a suggestion, I said "can I give you a suggestion ma'am? The next time you open the register instead of saying I can help someone over there, say I can help the next person in line at register number two" that way there won't be a herd or a stampede of people cutting in front of people who have already waited their turn. The woman rolled her eyes at me took my money never said anything and just put the money and the receipt in my hand, she then grab the next person as items and started scanning them before I was even out of the way. I noticed that her tag on her shirt said manager. She was not very friendly and as you know a person like that Will not have customer retention and I'm sure you know exactly how much it cost to get each customer into your door through advertisement dollars and you need to retain all the customers you can not only that but a toxic manager will not be able to keep good employees, they will seek a more friendly environment for a workplace.

Dollar Tree service

8/2/17 @ 2:48pm
I have visited the location at 6812 Reisterstown Road, Baltimore, MD 21215 Store #703several times and every time I say I am not going to return. The location is filthy and the staff are rude and very unprofessional. Today I experienced a foreigner purchase items, ask for another bag to put her cold ice cream in and the cashier, Dejhonae told her no I am not giving you another bag. She didn't greet that customer, myself or the customer after me. I have made several complaints at that location even to the manager. Nothing has been done if anything the service is worse. I will not be returning and will encourage others to not return either.

Dollar Tree hours

On 8/1/17 I arrived at the Dollar Tree Pittsburg, Ca location @ 8:57pm. To be informed by Jennifer employee who was playing security guard that the store was closed because her cashier had to leave at 9pm. I explained to Jennifer I needed 1 item she refused to let me in so I'm filing a complaint with you and the better business hours the posted hours states 9pm not 8:57 how many other customers is Jennifer and or Co-Wk doing this to. Also there is no form that just readily available to file complaints with this company that's something that should have been addressed prior to opening the locations

Dollar Tree customer service

I visited the 17th Street Causeway location with the goal to exchange and purchase an item. Upon my arrival the item I wanted to exchange, I brought up to the register with a middle aged Spanish woman with curly short brown blondish hair. The first problem with this woman was there was no greeting when I was near her just a scowl to scare the meanest of men away. Secondly she didn't attempt to inquire what I might need to do with the item I placed at her station, so that I didn't waste my time and not accomplish what I set out to do in that store. The reason why I made mention of her lack of Inquiry is because I later found out rudely and abruptly that she was the store "manager"?! I continued on in what I was there to do and I went to a lane that was moving quicker than hers. When I was next to check out I informed the cashier checking me out that the item I had to exchange was in fact at the so called "managers" register. Once I got my item all of a sudden the "manager" starts to flex her managerial muscles yelling across at me, "Do you have your receipt?". When I said I did not have it she started getting more disrespectful rolling her eyes and yelling over at me again" If you don't have the receipt then we won't take anything back." Now where this sounds harmless in theory this women who is the "manager" could have handled this differently. It's like she was seeking out to embarrass me about a dollar item. She was a Spanish women, degrading a black woman at a dollar tree about a 1$ item. Seriously? What type of manager is that? And the reason why I brought up the race of each of us is because I have been at this location before and seen white patrons exchange without receipts with no problems. This was just an exercise of poor judgement and poor managerial skills. I did not choose to argue that fact as it would have fallen poorly upon me. So I took to the complaint board to solve this issue. And truly hope it is in fact taken seriously, as the next black women will not treat matters like this in the same regard. Thank you

Dollar Tree harassment complaint

I was in the Irvington, NJ location this morning with my fiancee and i happened to be on a very important phone call; but as we were walking in a store associate begins following us and saying excuse me you know you can't be in here so when i turn around i realize that she's speaking to my fiancee.
I then end my call because I'm trying to find out what she's talking about so she says you can stay but he has to leave and I'm asking her why and she says my manager said you can't be in here and again i ask why she said because you steal from here, so we ask to see the manager and she says she's in the front so we go to the front looking for that manager and no one responds so i tell him let's get what we came for but he goes back to the young lady and asks where's the manager eventually we find her and ask why he can't be in the store, she then goes i never said you couldn't be in here but the cops are all around here which was irrelevant to our questions so i said again let's just get what we came for then some guy comes up asking my fiancee why he's talking to his sister like that and i tell him he should mind his business, he then tells me that i need to watch my mouth now it becomes a screaming match between all of us and the both of them are threatening us so my fiancee says let's just go because I'm not spending my money in here. Being someone who worked in retail for many years i know that is not effecting these people at all and i feel something should be done about this situation because I've never been treated like this in my life and i didn't appreciate being treated like this when this was our second time ever being in this store and I assure you that he has never stolen anything from this store.

Thank you in advance

Dollar Tree racial comments and rude behavior

I was at the 950 Immokolee Rd Naples Fl on Monday July 31 2017 and there was a manager employee that was very rude. Let me explain I was in the store with my 6 yr old niece and my 70 yr old father to get some tape and candies and immediately walking to the counter my niece was scared of him and my dad did not want to go threw that line. He was trying to fill ballones for three young girl and screaming across the front of the store just go to isle four with a mean tone. We went to isle four then he walked over to the cash register and could not get it to work and just walked away. Then we lost our place in line at our original spot and then comes screaming again for us to go this other isle and was really frustrated as we went threw the line as he was yelling at other employees trying to exsplain what was wrong with the other cash register. He was in such a hurry that he messed up my trans action and then blamed me. As I walked away he said yeah nice look I don't appreciate the way you looked at me. And I confronted him and he said about what? And he said I had some problem blaming me for his comments and stated a rude comment judging my race. I was told him that he had no idea about customer service. And I was going to file a complaint. And then he said are you threatening me and said I am going to call the police. This guy John should be fired on the spot and I am a manager myself and would never treat anybody like that. Without facing the consecenses of my action. I had witnesses and going to look into a lawyer about this and John will be judged for his actions and comments. Unsatisfied customer

Dollar Tree treatment from cashier for starters

Hello,
I wish this message was a pleasant one, but it's not. I will not be rude to you, I know what happened is not your fault. I would have brought this up to the manager of the particular store, but she seemed very occupied outside smoking while complaining to an associate about the dollar tree store on 75th.

I live in Kenosha Wisconsin and on July 22nd, at the store on 18th is when it took place.

I, and my son have worked with at this location before, so sadly we know first hand the crap that goes on, but that isn't my issue.

On that Sunday, myself, my boyfriend and his son went in to grab a few things. It wasn't a good day for me, so I brought both of my emotional service dragons with me. Yes they are registered service animals. Both weigh less than a pound so no leash is required or vest... unless at a restaurant.

My son held one and the other was nuzzled in my neck ( this is how I'm calmed by her when a panic attack comes on)

Attack vanished and we walked to the registers to pay. Not once did we make a spectacle of my dragons nor did they leave our chests.

I wanted to purchase a wash cloth that was draped on my dragon like a blanket. My boyfriend took the cloth off and tried to hand it to the cashier.

The guy gagged and flinched and refused to to touch the cloth and said there's no [censor] way he was touching that nasty thing! I instantly got mad and almost made a scene ( I didn't want to treat him the way he treated me even though I know he was given a second chance, I will explain that later)

He typed in a random code, we paid and left. That's where I saw the manager and the other associate outside and knew it would be pointless to bring this up.

Granted bearded dragons aren't your everyday service animals, but they are service animals. They are smaller and there is a 98% less chance of them using the restroom in a public place. Being that all service animals are trained not to do their business in an establishment, those are pretty good odds.

I'm an epileptic, who lives with severe panic episodes that are accompanied with bouts of anger and depression, oh yeah, I also have ADHD. I was told I qualified for 100% disability, but I declined. I work full time without restrictions and I'm allowed to have my service dragons with me at my job, and legally anywhere else that allows them, without discrimination.

That man had no right to act the way he did, even if my dragon na were just pets I brought with me. There was a dog in the store the exact same day, without a service jacket, but since it was a dog, it was okay it seems.

I was treated without respect due to his actions and statement that he wasn't f***ing touching that.

This man has a record for a crime, and from his mouth to others, including my son, he didn't know the girl was a minor.

If I my dragon didn't sense my anger, I would have called him names of that nature and the store would have cleared out because I wouldn't have stopped until it did.

I'm not proud of my issues, and I live with my disabilities. I'm doing everything possible to live a decent life, but it's a struggle when idiots like this work in customer service.

I am disabled, but not physically, and here I am apologizing for what might have happened if my service animals were not with me.

That store has fallen apart since Dawn ( previous store manager) went on disability leave.

Thank you for your time and I will also be sending a copy of this message to anyone and everyone I can within this company.

Thank you again
Jamie Page

Dollar Tree I would like to submit a complaint about a store manager

To whom it may concern, I had an unpleasant experience today in a dollar tree store located at 12949 Peyton Dr. Chino Hills, CA 91709. As I waited patiently in line with a group of other customers. The store manager had pulled aside her only cashier giving her instructions to restock a display of reading glasses. I began to lose my patience as 5-10 minutes had gone by and no one was acknowledging the line of customers. I walked over to the manager and asked if we could be checked out she answered me in few minutes. I asked if she was the manager she replied yes. I told her she was rude and lacked customer service I also threatened to call corporate. Her response was she did not care and go ahead. I believe situations like this need to be addressed. The store managers, in my opinion, should be setting an example to their employees. I also believe customer service is crucial for any growing company with expectations of growth.

Dollar Tree customer service

I had a very ugly experience with Dollar tree store located at Allwood shopping mall in Clifton, New Jersey. The store manager threatened to break my husband's cellophane when I told her I wanted to complain after a minor argument with her about her telling us to transfer to another cashier. The manager was very rude, not taking into consideration that it was the cashier who signaled us to move forward so we can pay for the goods we wanted to purchase.

Instead of managing the situation that would have defuse the tension, she told us to get out of the store and that she doesn't care if we don't buy the goods that we intended to buy. I hope Dollar tree management will take a good look on this particular store manager because customer service is an integral part of doing business.

Dollar Tree store service in regards to merchandise

Shelfs are never stocked fully, barely anything on them. Service is slow and un-helpful, ESPECIALLY when it comes to checking the back for products. Service says "truck will be in by the end of the week"yet when I come back NOTHING, I can still come in the following week ... NOTHING AGAIN . Unreliable when it comes to when products will be out and very unclean- never situated.

Dollar Tree dollar tree store 398 n congress ave boynton beach florida

Dear Sir/Madam
My wife and I entered this store Saturday night the 29th of July and were rudely intercepted by the Cashier with the phrase. "You're trying to sneak in, we're closed! As we walked out I noted the time it was exactly 8:57 not 9:00 which is the posted closing time for this Dollar Tree store. This was not only rude behavior but totally uncalled for. The doors were open and we were in no way trying to "sneak in" as this insulting young woman insinuated. Bad business and quite frankly uncalled for behavior.
