I purchased 9 DVDs, which included a 2 box set. So I purchased/was charged for 9 although I received a total of 10. Of the 10 5 did NOT work. Had I been aware of your "unopened item" policy I would NOT have purchased any. It is unfair to not have this policy posted near the DVDs nor mentioned by the sales clerk @ checkout. After phoning your customer service line and waiting for OVER a half an hour I was informed that complaints must be lodged online. I have been a long time, loyal Dollar Tree customer. I greatly appreciate the majority of the products you offer AND the savings I've received. Your "unopened item" return policy in unfair and unethical. Consumers have a right to know they have no recourse should their purchase be inoperable. Although I'm doubtful for any resolution, I do thank you for your time and consideration.

    many stores / businesses have the same or similar policy
    many you cant get a refund only a exchange
