Dollar Tree store condition

On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, I visited Store #3672, located at 3425 Centerville Highway Suite 2A Snellville, GA, 30039-3127. The store was so dirty, my feet were sticking to the floor. The carpet was disgusting and dirty. I complained verbally to the Manager and was told she gets complaints every day. She did not know if and when the problem was going to be resolved. I took a picture of myself in the store and decided to post my experience and picture on Facebook and Twitter to let my family and friends know about my adventure in the store. I call it an adventure because it was so dirty, I thought I was outside in the forest. The forest is cleaner than the store.
To be honest, I love the products that are sold in Dollar Tree. I am a long time customer and have decided not to shop at that Dollar Tree. A business that shows such blatant disrespect for its customers no longer deserves my patronage.

Dollar Tree management

I previously sent a complaint for 2661 Midway Rd #201, Carrollton, TX 75006 i didn't include my email. [protected]@gmail.com

I was previously sending a complaint about the manager and him being rude toward me because i was using coupons. Not knowing my situation and why i choose to start couponing. I hope he realizes that customer service is very important in the retail business. And i hope he doesn't treat another customer the same way he treated me.

Dollar Tree customer service

Dollar Tree store# 4832
I typically don't return things unless it was a very defective purchase. It didn't hit me how petty your staff was about exchanging some $2 readers that the lens kept falling out of from day one but I didn't have my receipt. Who keeps their Dollar Tree receipts? It didn't hit me until I thought about the last exchange I did at a larger chain without a receipt for $30 for a defective product that they knew was theirs but could no longer find the same model #. My question is how would this have put your store at an inconvenience? How much would you have lost in profit? What message does this send to your local customers? It was real petty to me and a real reflection of once again "white privileged" in America

Dollar Tree horrible customer service

This morning, I placed my hand out so that the CSR could hand me my money and receipt. The rep, Diane, pushed my hand out of the way to place my money and receipt on the counter. I then told her she was rude and should never touch a customer. I called for the manager, Carey and explained what had happened. His response was, "okay". I then asked for the corporate phone number to file a complaint. I was provided with the number [protected]. This occurred at 1354 Park St Stoughton, MA 02072. The issue is less about where she placed the money and receipt, but more about her pushing my hand and lacking the proper customer service skills to work in a position that requires friendliness. I am currently on hold to speak to someone at the number provided. I have been on hold for 30 minutes.

Dollar Tree management

I'm a customer service representative at Family Dollar 10331 S.E. Lennard in Pt. St. Lucie, Fl. 34952.
I have been there a few months, I'm always early well groomed and follow all instructions. I'm bring treated horribly by management in an unprofessional manner.
Discrimination and bullying is an issue!
Another employee in the store is afraid to come forward. I want to be transferred and don't appreciate being ridiculed in front of customers repeatedly by an assistant. There is gosdip happening in front of staff by management and favoritism. A sick atmosphere. I was instructed to contact Gary CEO of this company.

Dollar Tree employees are rude and in my opinion abuse the loud speaker

Unfortunately I live in ridgecrest ca a small town riddled with bad people. I worked in this store in the past. I left on excellent terms with them. The employees they when I worked there where so nice. I never had no problems with them as a customer or a employee but the people the have now should not be working there. There are three people that work there that I can say that are great employees. The manager Chet, and two works travis and I think his name is Jared. The first incident was when I walk in with my book bag. There's no signs on the entrance doors at all about book bags. I walk in knowing where I had to go went past the cashiers register with no customers in the line. So that cashier makes a announcement to me so everyone hears it " there no book bags aloud in the store bring it up front." I go up front hesitatly know I got my Nintendo switch in there. I was mad because he embarrassed me in the store for no reason. I left it with him knowing that the people in this town are horrible people and wound not put it pass him if he stole it. I asked him when did this become a rule. His response is along the lines of this because everyone steals in a nasty way. I have a job and money. I pay for my stuff and notice that he has a vizer on I don't know if it is dollar tree because he's wearing it backwards and crooked. He was very rude and unprofessional and should not be working there if he acts like that and where's a vizer like that. The next day I go in and see Jared and go straight to him and ask if I need to leave my book bag up front. I told him what happened and he tells me no i trust you I know you don't steal. The next time I go in I see Chet and tell him what happens and he tells me that he can't tell me to do that And I didn't have to. Fast forward to may 29 there where four announcements first on 8:55 it was a woman "we are closing in five minutes" in a very stern tone then I here you sound mean. Then it was the left door is Locke go out of the right one. At 8:58 "In two minutes where closing you can be anywhere but hear." Then he starts laughing because he thought it was funny. I didn't I take my job seriously and not a joke or treat the people that are paying for your check you bring home. Then I hear that I'm the last one in the store Travis was the only one taking his job seriously and was polite. He was cashing me out. Then there was the last announcement which is the one they said before "the door on the left is locked go out the right door." I feel insulted. Since they weren't that far away from me they could of just told me but they shouldn't have to since I heard it three minutes before. Horrible people they think it's fun and just game. I work in retail and if I did that I would be fired no question ask. I make sure I can help the customer as much as possible. When i passed those two I wasn't even acknowledged or ask if I needed help. Unprofessional but that what happens when the crew doesn't care and young except for Travis also this is the first time I ever seen him. You guys need to watch them pretending to be customer so they don't know to really see how they are. It's store number. 2177

Dollar Tree the entire store

I live in little rock, Arkansas and I'm outraged at the nasty, unstocked store u have located in little rock on Mabelvale plaza and Baseline Rd area. That store needs to whole new crew. Most of the shelves and freezers stay naked. They have boxes everywhere as if they really are going to put the items away. You come back the next day and nothing has moved. The floors are gross. The carpet was removed and replaced and now they're not even keeping it mopped. I've never seen a dollar tree look so bad. This nastiness and not having products on the shelves is running customers away

Dollar Tree I am complaining about customer service unethical behavior by, one of the employee namely lydia brooks.

On Thursday, May 24, 2018 I, Mable E. Wright entered Dollar Tree located @ 1270 John C. Calhoun Drive, Orangeburg, Sc 29115 to purchase item as I normally do. There were two cashiers in the store and several customers. The line was rather lengthy as only one register was opened. Ms. Brooks was blowing up balloons (3) for a customer. A customer ahead of me asked, "Can you open the other register due to the long line?"
Ms. Brooks replied, " I am blowing up balloons and if you can't wait then leave." I was appalled that those words would come out of an employee's mouth. I felt as a customer it was time to speak up on the negativity of the response. First, I stated she wasn't the owner or part of the franchise to offer such an unltermantim. Furthermore, if it wasn't for the customers patronizing Dollar Tree, she wouldn't have a job. In the meantime Ms. Brooks completed her task(Blowwing up 3 balloons, but didn't open up the register). The other cashier, Mr. Chester reassured the customers he was working as fast as he could to asst. us. However, Ms. Brooks called Orangeburg Police Department on me (Mable E. Wright) to report I was disorderly and was asked to leave the premises. Upon arrival, law enforcement asked for my ID which I eagerly obligated and requested I give them my vision of what transpired.
After I stated the above, they further questioned several customers and they concurred with the above. Ms. Brooks acted in an irate, unprofessional manner, and caused me embarrassement that was unnecessary. I am a law abiding educator that adheres to all aspects of the law, however, this was indeed a waste of tax payers money and the policemen time. They advised me to fill out a complaint, which is what I had intended on doing.
The following day, I contacted the manager, Ms. Carolyn Woodruff to inform her of the previous day's events. She was sympathic to the situation and very apologetic. Ms. Brooks must be taught how to be professional and practice self- control. Also not to abuse the law enforcement for minor issue- when a customer stands up and voice opposition to negative remarks by an employee.
I am contemplating legal actions- this has left a bad taste in my mouth. Never have I been accused of disruption or disorderly conduct. I always want to be a role model for my students yet standing up (free speech) when people are being taken advantage of.

Dollar Tree Customer service

Me and my family went to Dollar Tree today, May 28, 2018 to buy a birthday balloon for my deceased brother (to put on his tomb). Dollar tree was pretty hectic at this hour. There was a long line of customers and my family was already in line. Note on the door said "No Helium" so we decided to settle and buy a small balloon that stands on a thin small stick . They were located next to the cash register above an ice cream fridge. I walked over to look at them and saw one I liked. When i tried to reach for it, the ice cream fridge was in the way so I decided to walk and stand behind the fridge for a better reach. When I did this "Kris" a female worker standing at the cash register looked over and told me in a very rude way, "Get away from my cash register, you cannot be on this side so move to the other side". The rest of what she said I have forgotten at this point but I was surprised at her tone and told her "Oh, Im sorry" and proceeded to get the other balloon I intended on getting before going back to the line with my family. So now we are in line and we are about to be next when "Kris" says, "next customer please". Of course knowing we are next we walk up to her register and she rudely says, "no im not helping y'all, she's gonna help y'all" and points at the cashier next to her (Lisa Ann) who was still with a customer. We do not tell her anything even though we are confused and feel terrible about the treatment she's giving us. We wait for Lisa Ann to be done. Lisa Ann then looks over to us and tells us, "if y'all ever walk behind the register again y'all are going to be banned from Dollar Tree". We didn't have much words to say, we were still completely taken by surprised at the situation and how it got out of control just because i went behind an ice cream freezer to get two balloons that we actually ended up purchasing. I asked "Kris" for her name to which she rudely gave me and I told her there was no need for her to be upset and to have a good Day. We finished paying our items and another worker that was about to be off and was in line too said something about the situation to which "Kris" started to further and rudely speak about us. We quickly left to avoid further discrimination. Because that's what it felt like. I have never had someone treat me such way and act like it was my fault when all I did was try to pick out a nice balloon for my deceased brother for his birthday. I really hope this gets brought to their attention and they get disciplined for treating their customers with such disrespect.

He simply told you that you cannot be on that side of the register. Nothing rude about that. Just because someone tells you that you can't do something does not mean that they were rude. It is common sense not to walk behind the register. Then again you are foolish and mistake being told that you cannot do something as rude so you probably would not know this. This is NOT discrimination. I suggest that you buy a dictionary and look up the definition of discrimination before using the word. I believe they sell them at dollar tree. How did it feel like discrimination. You went behind the counter which you were not supposed to. They told you not to go there, and you mistake that as rude and discrimination. How thick are you? One good thing about your brother being dead is he does not have to witness what a stupid fool you are.

Dollar Tree concern and compliment

Dollar Tree Executives
500 Volvo Pkwy
Chesapeake, VA [protected]

May 27, 2018

Dear Corporate Executives,

I am not sure how often one or more of your executives at corporate headquarters... Visits your stores but I don't think it's enough. Supportive /frequent review of your stores with personal professional and pleasant face to face time with your managers, crew and customers … would reap rewards in increasing current customer and employee satisfaction levels as well as increase new customer base and increase revenue.

I have shopped at dollar tree (260 pottstown pike next to produce junction) for many, many, many years. I am 2nd of 10 siblings and 40+ nieces/nephews as well, as friends/neighbors who shop at your store. I served as a director of service quality and communications at a huge retail organization, office manager at a financial firm, healthcare company, cancer center. I served as a full time elementary school teacher and continue to serve as a volunteer elementary school teacher. I currently serve as client billing and executive administrator for a healthcare company.
Point is … I am one of a variety of people in many walks of life, who shop at your store.

I shop at your store because the products are usually very good at a wonderful price and is store is recommended by many. However, my primary reasons is because you have exceptional employees … pleasant, happy with their team members and their work and actually enjoy coming to work.

For me, "if/when" the people are happy, meaning they are paid well, treated with dignity and respect, are courteous, pleasant, professional … I return again, and again, and again.

Sad to say, this has not been my experience for the past few months.
Turnover is at an extremely high rate, mostly at crew (not sure what title you give them) level. The reason that I hear (directly from the employees) is that they don't get paid enough. This leaves all of the work to the managers … who are overworked.
Lines at cash registers have been up to 10 to 15 people. Customers are frustrated, angry, complain to the customer in line and then, actually leave without purchasing items.

Managers are trying their very best to unload stock, be cashiers, stock shelves, and help to make sure customer and employees are delighted. While I know this is a part of their job, work at your store should be shared by an appropriate staff level. My guess is that you will start losing managers, who are very good people with goal of delighting customers, goal of hiring and keeping a pleasant and profession crew and want the store to make a profit.
I think management and employees need exceptional leadership from headquarters. Employees at all levels need to be asked for their feedback and ideas. And all need to be listened to. Then, leadership needs to address concerns.
If anyone in store is reprimanded for the concerns I am raising, it will mean that I have not explained the situation well or you are not listening or worse, you don't care.

I am an optimist. I believe … that you do care, that dollar tree meets the needs of people in many walks of life, that you make a healthy profit and are able to pay your people an adequate salary, can offer monetary and non monetary incentives to motivate people.

It is with great hope that the situation will change. I truly believe that "you" can and will make an incredibly supportive difference in the lives of your employees and customers.

Gratefully,
Kathleen Meehan
Exton, PA 13941

Note: I do not post or want my concerns posted on social media.

Dollar Tree frutessa jam

T.C. Trader raspberry jam was the best product in the store! Fruitessa is like mud and I noticed the strawberry is equally brown and unappetizing, ruining my cookies! And the store is still dirty, cluttered, and the bathroom unaccessable.
Cedar Street is so much better.
St.Johns is the best!
Aisles in Okemos are full of boxes and bathrooms dirty, always locked for staff.

Dollar Tree discrimination

We are customers in the Dollar Tree Store 15232Summit Avenue Fontana CA. Their was a store associate that was very rude to us and refused us the right to use the restroom because they were going to close in ‘10 minutes.' We have been customers here for years and the treatment we received is disrespectful. The store denied customers the right to use the restroom. The person who was refused that right is disabled senior and had an accident because the store denied her basic human right. We are disappointed and saddened that we have experienced this treatment. We will filing a discrimination claim to ensure no other customer experiences this demeaning treatment. The customer pleaded with the associate and the associate denied them their right.

Dollar Tree I am complaining about kari price

I Lalani Wolfe was the store assistant manager for 5 1/2 years then I was promoted to store manager for 5 1/2 years I am making a formal complaint about Kari price she is talking very badly about me and has been since I left the company in November of 2017 I had believed I left on good terms but to hear that she is slandering my good name saying I stole from the company and gave free stuff away I never did this and I have several employees who would to this day still vouch for me and my integrity I am not going to take this lightly I want a written statement from her recanting these allegations or I will take the next steps to make sure my name is not tarnished anymore. I find this to be appalling and degrading and all for no reason I had believed that at one point I might return to dollartree inc. As I had felt that they were like family but if this is how district managers are allowed to talk about previous employees it's a shame and would not ever want to be apart of that I remember in the policy handbook it is a policy of confidentiality.

Dollar Tree manager behavior

Date: 05/24/2018
Checkout time: 12:25
Store# 7074

402 Alston Blvd.
Surf City, NC 28443

To whom it may concern,

While walking up to the register to checkout, I witnessed a manager (did not catch the name, but she was an older woman with long hair) yelling at cashier Dana from about 30 feet away while Dana was stocking shelves. The manager was yelling out that Dana is too slow and wasting time, etc., and then the manager went into the employee booth located up front. Immediately I recognized this as unprofessional behavior and when Dana walked up to assist me at the checkout counter, I apologized to Dana that she had to endure that type of embarrassment and unprofessionalism. Dana was almost in tears and told me that this happens all the time.
Meanwhile, in the booth that is located for employees at the front of the store, I could clearly hear the manager complaining about Dana, to another employee.

This type of behavior is unprofessional, unethical, and should never be exhibited toward an employee, even in private. No matter what an employee is doing wrong, it is only ethical to pull them aside in private and CALMLY address concerns. The manager's behavior created an unpleasant and degrading environment for Dana, but in that, it was rough for customers to hear and witness.
Someone needs to have more oversight over the people that are hired into managerial roles.
I ultimately decided to write this complaint because, often at times, low ranking employees need a job to make ends meet and continue to face such derogatory treatment due to fear of being fired if they complain.

P.S. I urge someone to look into this because, more should be expected of those who are placed in charge and someone needs to hold that manager accountable.

Respectfully,

Agnieszka Borgialli
