Dollar Tree abusive verbal to immigrants

Hello there, i am a bangladeshi girl doing phd at UB SUNY. I went my nearby dollar tree for buying 2/3 stuff because my husband do my weekly grocery. Today one lady light skinned behaved me so bad i feel embarassed as an immigrant in US. She told bangladeshi and Palestine immigrants always come with changes. Do i ever seen any dollar. And she warned me next time i should bring no changes.
So my question is that changes for 2/3 times is prohibited in your company?
Your employer might be anti immigrant but thats not my concern, how legit is this talking to a customer like this? The store is on n.filmore, buffalo. Thanks.
I wanna know is there any provision of not using changes to your store or what.

Dollar Tree customer service/store manager

Store # 1968
17440 Colima Road
Rowland Heights, ca

store managers name : Jeremy Carter

Very rude. I came into this store about 830am. It's an empty store at this time. Shopping for my son's bday supplies, balloons, etc. I purchase 8 balloons and the cashier asked his manager to blow them up for me while he continued to ring up the next person. When he was done blowing up the balloons he handed then to me and walked away. I asked if he had any weights to hold the balloons down, he proceeded to place a basket on the counter and walk away. I then asked am I suppose to put the weight on myself and be said yes. I informed him in the past they have always done it. I don't even know how to do it. And he stated when we aren't busy then we can do it but I'm too busy. I looked around and asked your too busy he again said yes. But there was two other people in the entire store shopping. Seriously. So I asked him for his supervisor and his name, he then stated he was the store manager. When I asked for a refund that I wasn't going to give them my business for his rudeness he just smirked and laughed. This is ridiculous that dollar tree would give a store to such rude person. This is the man running the the dollar tree store. He's the one causing this store to lose business, especially when you can't treat your customers with respect or do what your job specifies you to do. So i returned the balloons and will be going to a different dollar tree.

Dollar Tree 1st assistant manager

She is very rude and disrespect in the way she talks to the employee's that work there. She has a bad attitude towards customers and when called to the front to help she speaks to the cashier in a hateful manner. I do not understand how a person in her position is allowed to be in management. If you're in management you should be able to have a positive attitude and represent the company you work for in a positive way not be negative.

You would be surprised at how much theft even dollar stores experience. People will try and steal almost anything from anywhere.

Dollar Tree dollar tree customer service store # 662

On December 6, 2017 my boss gave me $20 to go buy Christmas decorations for the office and before I went to pick up my father from dialysis, I stopped by the Dollar Tree at 4981 Cal Sag Road, Crestwood, IL 60445 and bought $19.80 worth of items. I grabbed the bag that was on the side (since it was only one bag there), Theresa the cashier then gave me my 20 cent change and receipt. I left and didn't think nothing of it because I assumed that everything was in the bag. The next day I got to my office to start decorating when I noticed I only had 9 items only and was missing 10 items form my receipt. I called the store and a female told me that no one had left any bags in the office so she said that I would have to call back around 3pm to see if the manager can look at the video cameras to see what was going on. I gave them the cashiers name and told them that the time on the receipt was 5:51pm and I was wearing a red coat so they can see in the video who I was and that I only had grabbed one bag. I called back at 3pm and the manager said that she would have to check the video and to give her about 30 minutes in which she will call me back. Two and a half hours passed and no calls so I called back and the manager had picked up and stated, "I haven't even been able to get out this register to even look at it so it's going to have to wait until tomorrow so one of the other managers can look at it and then call you back." It's already 12/12 and I haven't received any calls from anyone. I tried calling 5 times now while I'm at work and now no one is trying to answer my calls. I know it's only like $10 worth of items but still it's the principle that counts. I don't know what happened to that bag, all I know is that the cashier did not place 2 bags on the side, it was only one (which I grabbed) and maybe she just made that mistake of not taking out the bag rack as she was placing them in the bag and I know how extremely busy the dollar tree can be at this time of year but still you don't treat customers like this. You just don't forget to follow up with a complaint, question, or concern. Since it's obvious that no one over there is bothered to even check what happened to my bag (WHICH BY THE WAY I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO GIVE MY BOSS $10 BECAUSE OF THIS) I have decided to write this complaint. $10 might not be so much for you people, but for a single mom with 2 kids (one with down syndrome) that lives pay check to pay check, means a lot to me. I think your employees which include those managers needs better training in customer service.
You can reach me at [protected]@yahoo.com and my name is Rose

Dollar Tree discrimination

Hello I called about a week and a half ago regarding a situation at store 3357 I went for an interview on Nov 15, 2017 and was hired on the spot Ericka the Manager said she would call me on Monday with my schedule and I never received a call. I waited a couple of days and decided to call her she answered the phone and I had told her who I was and she said that she was not given any hours to hire new people and that her hours where actually cut for her regular employees. I called her back today and I received the same response. I have been going to the store and I have seen one of the people that were interviewed with me there. I called to complain and someone had called me back and took my information but no one has called me back. I am not the only person who applied there that she has done this to . I feel like this company only hires black people and that is not fair and for no one to call me back makes me feel like this company doesn't care that people are being discriminated because of their race.

Dollar Tree red/green christmas tissue paper

I ordered 8 units of Red/Green Christmas Tissue Paper on line. When it came it was mostly white tissue. I could have bought that in the store. I took it back to the Dollar Tree in Mt. Airy where I picked the order up and (Sharon) said she did not have time to fool with it. I am a customer. I just wanted to return what I DID NOT order. I don't feel like the rudeness was justified. This happened today, December 11, 2017. I asked for my account to be credited. Needless to say I came back home with what I went to return. I will not order anything online from Dollar Tree again if this is the response they give their customers.

Dollar Tree store in germantown, maryland

The employee Jamie is always rude and direspectful to customers. She always has an attitude. Throws things, tells people they can't buy over a certain amount of things, rushes people, makes rude comments, rolls her eyes the list goes on and on. Tonight I was in their with my son and he was crying and she kept rolling her eyes and as I was leaving she said "thank god that was annoying". Everytime I go there she does the same rude stuff. She needs to be fired.

Dollar Tree service

My daughter and I went into the Dollar Tree at 11:45 a.m on Sunday Dec.10, 2017 we only had 3 items got to the register line and noticed the line was backed up half way down one isle and there was only 1 cashier I asked him nicely could they please open another register because the lady ahead of me had around 50 items and several other customers around 6 put there stuff down and walked out he just laughed at me and said the manger didn`t have a cash drawer so we sat our stuff down and walked out I do not appreciate being laughed. I hope this store gets straightened out this is not the only time I have seen this store with a mile long line and only 1 register opened... store # 108

Dollar Tree cashier/manager

I was in the store purchasing a few items. My card declined during checkout, I was using debit(so that's ridiculous) instead of the manager telling me that the register is not accepting debit at all, they stood by and let me make a fool of myself. Every store I have ever been to, if their debit is down, they will charge your debit card as credit. So, the fact they they were not taking debit at all, should have been told to customers. Also, the manager tells me "we are taking food stamps". Which is a total insult, because I was clearly using debit. Dollar tree 9820 Frankford Ave Philadelphia, PA they are racist. I am never shopping at any dollar tree again

Dollar Tree I was attacked/humiliated by the employees.

My name is Kathy Majors. I visited the Riverdale store tonight in search for some party favors for a Christmas party that I am having. While approaching close I realized that I had forgotten a couple bags of candy. So I asked the cashier if I could grab a couple bags of candy and leave the other items at the register. The cashier said "no problem." When I came back to the register all my things were gone. I asked the cashier what happened to my things and she immediately called Micheal. Micheal said he did not touch my things. I asked, " well who did?" Micheal then began to yell at me and tell me I had "5 minutes to recover my items and get out!" Long story short. He and the other employees teamed up against me and threatened me. I have never been so humiliated before in my life. I was afraid that I was going to be physically assaulted by Micheal considering the fact that the manager and another employee had to hold him back from attacking me. He called me [censor] and was so enraged that spit was flying out of his mouth. I was shocked at the fact that he had called me out of my name considering the fact that I old enough to be his grandmother. I told them that I was going to call the police and another employee by the name of India said "Call them for what? They are not going to do anything." All of this is happening right in front of the manager who has absolutely no control over his staff. I asked for the number to corporate and the manager gave me a sweepstakes number. Please help. No one deserves to be treated like this. My number is [protected]. I will be looking forward to hearing from someone soon. No one deserves this type of treatment but especially a paying customer who simply asked a question.

Dollar Tree cashiers

For nearly two years, I have been a frequent customer at:

Store #3575
810 Portage Road
Niagara Falls NY, [protected] US
[protected]

On several occasions, I have been mistreated by cashiers and/or managers at that store. They seem to know that they can be hostile to customers with complete immunity. I had a problem more than a year ago with coupons which they refused to honor, despite their presence on packaged goods. It took several trips to the store, and more than an hour of my time, to resolve that problem, no thanks to a nasty manager.

Today (December 9, 2017, 8:30 P.M.), an aisle was shut down while I was waiting for service, before another aisle was available. I was pugnaciously admonished that it was my responsibility to monitor a light fixture near the register indicating whether the aisle was open. I was further threatened that they did not need or want to provide any service to me, especially if I would not obediently follow their rules.

Management should not be encouraged to collude with staff in abusing customers.

I would appreciate an apology from the manager on duty at 8:30 P.M., December 9, 2017.

Whoever you are, you seem to exemplify--or at least uphold--the customer-hostile tone of the store manager to whom I refer, if not Dollar Tree in general. I am a doctor, and far more mature than any six-year-old. I should never obediently submit to abuse from those whose jobs depend upon me.

Dollar Tree will most likely not see your complaint here as this is a third party website. You may want to contact their corporate office. While nothing that was said was technically incorrect, they could have been more polite. If you do call their corporate office, make sure to provide specific details of things that were said. You may want to refrain from referencing the coupon issue however, as it has been over a year since it happened.

Dollar Tree did not receive cash back when requested.

I went to store asked for cash back, cash back was not given. When I looked in my bag with receipt no cash was there. They refused to give me my cash back when I returned to the store moments later and after waiting 15 minutes for someone to make phone calls and check cash drawer. I want my money back. That's it. The attitude of the management sucks. She told me I lost the money. I never received it to be able to lose it. The lady at register was going to return my money because she knows she did not give it to me but then the manager told her she could not. Ridiculous way to treat customers especially when money is tight at the Holiday. Very unhappy customer. I don't want a hand out I only want what is mine returned to me. Diamondhead MS store. 12/9/17.

Dollar Tree rude and disrespectful employees towards a united states veteran

I just witnessed an older gentlemen, United States veteran, being harassed and made fun of by dollar tree employees, including the manager. This is not the first time I have witnessed rude behavior from employees at this specific location, but it is the first time I see this type of harassment and total disrespect towards another individual especially a veteran. I called the store to speak to the manager and he lied stating he witnessed the employees laughing at the man and he put a stop to it. I said no, you went along with it I saw you. I asked him for his general managers number and he stated there was no one above him. After a few exchanges of words, he gave me the headquarters phone number. I want to file a formal complaint.

Dollar Tree the whole store!!

I walked into the florence sc store on irby st. And the store is a total disaster.. It looked like the store has been robbed and totally distroyed... So discussed I could not shop or even enjoy shopping.. See pictures... There is no proper lights in the store.. Which you should be glad because it is a shame to see what your dollar tree really looks like. As a merchandiser I am fully ashamed of the appearance. And who ever is the manager should not be able to keep their job with this distasteful way the store looks.. I will never go in this store again. I was really confused. I thought the store was closing for good.

Dollar Tree spills and rude vendors

I had a bread vendor and a friend talking when I entered the store with my child. They watch everywhere I go and comment about us looking at Christmas candy. Laughs about whatever the deal is then goes back to work. Then when I get to the register, there is cardboard in the floor, covering spilled fabric softner. I slip on it but catch myself on the buggy. And of course this is hilarious as well. There was no warning from the surrounding employees or even attemts to clean it up or switch registers.

Dollar Tree useless employee

As related to me: My husband, Mike, went to Dollar Tree. He said that he was in a long line. He thought he would save time when he noticed what appeared to be another register open. After all, the light was on and there was a guy at the register. So, he went to the other line only to be told that he wasn't open. Mike went back to the only line that was actually open. Only now, it was even longer. Moments later, the male cashier announced he was open. Mike was annoyed and complained to the cashier, Sarah. She defended the employee by explaining to Mike that he was on break.

Desirable resolution: Employee training on proper place to take break. The guy was eating a snack and talking to Sarah.

Customer perception: The situation could have been perceived as racism. Not only by my husband, but other people standing in line.

Most companies do not require associates to put groceries into bags that are brought from the home. The bags are your personal property and if damage was done to them then they could be held liable. It is fair to expect a customer to put away their own items if they are using their own bags.

absolutely no i don't agree on that, we are customer service. What difference does it make if we use ours or theirs, it takes longer to argue about the situation than it does just to bag them. Its only a big deal if you make it a big deal

ALso I bet Ebony's father does things to her and that is why she refused to bag my items. But just because her father molests her does not mean she should not bag my items.
