Dollar Tree service

I purchased multiple items from your store on Mt Hope in Rochester, N.Y. today. Upon returning home I emptied the contents and tossed the bags along with the receipt. I took notice that I had purchased the wrong product a short while later when I went to use it. I went to my home store to exchange it for the same brand product just deep conditioner instead of the leave-in. As I entered the store I started that I just wanted to make an exchange. I was told we need to see the receipt. I stared that I had just purchased this item along with multiple others. The Manager said, " I need the receipt in order to make return". I stated that, " I just want to exchange it". She very rudely said as she clapped her hands, "You have to go back to the store you brought it from to then". I find this to be very unprofessional and rude to say the least. I have never felt more disrespected, especially from someone im leadership. An essential class in customer service and leadership would be very beneficial for this employee. I am a very loyal customer to this store and visit here frequently. This really was a terrible shopping experience in your store today, thanks to the store manager.

Dollar Tree employee

I was in dollar tree located at 5080 e bay dr #6, clearwater, fl 33764 (tri-city plaza) and heard a woman cursing and going on about a guy named david and how he is a joke and an [censored]. I went around the corner to the same isle and it was an employee! Her name was Lisa. I politely asked her now to use such vulgarity as I had my little daughter with me she rolled her eyes and gave me a stank look and said I quote if you don't like it don't shop at this [censored] store. There's one located in largo mall and she walked away. I have never been treated so disrespectful at any store i've ever shopped at! Definitely will not be going there again!

First let me start by saying i'm a regular customer and my son and I love the night shift people that work there. They are friendly nice do there jobs and stacy helps my son pick out toys if he asks. If we ever need help they are happy to help me. But almost a week ago I went into the store and everything was fine was being treated good like always and then I got into line. I was the second customer in line. While I was waiting the customer in front of me asked the cashier (brea) how her day was going. The cashiers reply was not appropriate. Word for word she replied in a whisper "It was good till I came to work. I have hip problems and these stupid [censored] managers make me to too [censored] much my manager brenda and my other manager stacy is a [censored]." The customer said sorry and laughed. It was like they new each other which if i'm not mistaking I don't think you allowed to ring up people you know. When it was my turn I payed and left and on the way home my son asks me what [censored] means! I will continue to go here cause I love this store and iv never had a bad experience before but something has to be done. I should be able to go into a store and not have to worry about cursing or anything especially from employees

Dollar Tree the rules about not taking the shopping out of the store

I shopped at the Dollar Tree in Greenville SC at the Cherrydale location off Poinsettia hwy. I got about a half shopping cart of items as I was about to exit the clerk who checked me out informed me I could take my shopping out. I have lower mobility problems and walk with two cans nobody tried to assist me out. I left my cart there while I went to get my car and parked as close as I could got out to go back in the store get my things and nobody offered to help me I struggled so bad. I will never go back there ever. Anybody that disable like that will not work. The other location don't do this about the cart. I understand the staff is following the rules, but they could assist a person like me. If the could have told me the rule when I first entered I wouldn't have gotten so much. It was to much strain on my legs by did'nt have a cart or a person to help. I guess crime is really bad in that surrounding area, but many disable people who have a difficult time standing & walking depend a cart I suggest changes need to be made.

Dollar Tree dollar tree store manager

May 22nd 2018, I was in line, behind a customer who had 10-15 items, I did not know he was the store Manager at the time, he had just got finished with his customer, I went over to his line, he closed his line, I made a gesture like oh wow you are closing, he immediately said you are next at the other line, I said can you take one more, I only had 4 things, he said I have something else to do, and you are being rude and inconsiderate, in front of everyone in the store. I was embarrassed, and it was totally unnecessary. The store #1734/ 2646 west horizon ridge play. I have tried to call the corporate office several times without a response. I tried to call the store, and the Store Manager argued with me and hung up on me.

Sick of rude managers

Every time I go into the Dollar Tree in Mountain View, Arkansas the manager is very rude she is always belittleing things there and people who buys them. This young manager is female and doesn't care if glass items get broken after you purchase them...her comments are...it only cost a dollar...other times I've been in there she is rude to customers and I feel embarrassed for them..I as well have been talked to like I'm not important and I am 3 years old..she is not a people person at all. She obviously works only for a pay check because she doesn't care about the customers. I am never going back 3 times of being insulted by this manager is enough...they need to close it down or replace this person with someone that actually cares about the job and customer service.

Dollar Tree customer service

On 6/15/18, I went into the Dollar tree located in Raytown, Missouri on 63rd st. Our check out lady's name was Faith. I hardly got a greeting, She moved slow as a snail wrapping my glass, she just stood there without telling me she was done ringing up my transaction or giving me a total, and I'm assuming it was because the music blaring from her right headphone and her pulling it out to change a song may have had something to do with it. I usually don't complain, but it was clear she forgot she was at work and the customer service, well, lack there of, was horrible! I think she may need some retraining. Thank you!

Dollar Tree cashier

This is the store located in Paris ky. I waited for a cashier for awhile when she shows up she doesn't speak to us. I keep saying we would like two balloons. She ignores me and keeps ringing my stuff. I finally told my kids to go pull two balloons. My kids go around and she pushes them and tells them they are not allowed back there. I left my merchandise of over 100 dollars and told her that was rude and I will not being buying anything she rings up. I make it to the car and put my three kids in and call and ask to speak to the manager. She rudely kept making comments of my child crying. She nicked me when I said he was a baby. I am just shocked that these two women work in public and does not know how to treat people.

Dollar Tree air conditioning system

This store is ALWAYS hot. The employees are there working everyday in this heat. I've never heard them complain, yet I can see the sweat on their heads with my own eyes every time I'm in there. There has to be a better solution. They don't complain, yet they're there with smiles on their sweaty faces happily taking care of the public's needs. Please correct this situation.

On yesterday June 14 2018 I went to shop at the dollar tree in Montgomery Al on mobile hwy where I always shop and it's so convenient to my home. On yesterday around 3 I decided to pick up a few items as usual. When I first walked in I notice a long line only one register open but the cashier and older women was trying to get the customers out as quick as possible. As I picked up a few more items I also notice the manager who was very intoxicated and this haven't been the first time I've seen him like this very unprofessional am not sure if I'll be shopping at dollar tree anymore.

Dollar Tree restrooms

I shop at the Dollar Tree at 11250 Old St. Augustine Rd. all the time. My daughter has use the restroom several times at this location and the women's restroom has been out of order forever! Therefore we have always been told to use the men's restroom. When my daughter tried to go to the restroom on 06/14/18 @ approximately 7pm a women stated "excuse me what are you doing back here (with an attitude) I advised my daughter has to use the restroom she stated did you get permission I stated no she use this restroom all the time. She stated it's out of order I stated yes I know the women's is out of order it's been out of order forever we have been told to use the Men's. May my daughter use the restroom she said no it's locked and not open to the public! There is NO sign that states you must get permission before entering or there are no public restrooms I later found out the women I was speaking to was the manager of the store, she was no where near professional the way she spoke to me. I shop at Dollar Tree pretty often and have NEVER had an issue and my daughter has NEVER been refused to use the restroom which is the one working. She then went on to state they don't allow the public to use the restroom because they steal out of the boxes in the back! I asked for her manager and her name and she wrote down Detra but refused to write her name down which is Shay. The way I was spoken to is not acceptable and if the store #260 does not allow the public to use the restroom it should state that information on the door, it only states no merchandise allowed and my 7 year old daughter had NOTHING in her hand.

Dollar Tree rude manager behavior

I am appalled at the rude, condescending manner in which the store manager speaks to her staff at the West Market Store, Greensboro NC. I have never seen anyone be little or speak in a more hateful tone to her staff than the current store manager, Debbie, does. She never comes out of her closet (office) to help do anything when I am there except to blow up a balloon or two or to speak down to staff. If she has done something, which has been rare to my witnessing she will not even clean her area. I saw her tell another employee to clean her area and empty her trash. Damn if you do, Damn if you don't. Guess they don't have a choice.. they have to do it even if they don't want to just to insure a paycheck.

I have watched her being so hateful to staff Its a wonder why the staff stays other than they must need the job because I would have told her what to do with her comments. The last time I saw her, she had gone to the back area, so when I came out of the bathroom she was standing in the storage room smoking her cigarettes while everyone else works. My understanding is there are no indoor smoking areas in NC. Am I right? Will anything happen to her, probable not.

I use to spend several hundreds of dollars each week at this store. Since she has been there my expenditures have gone from several hundreds to less than $25 per week. I know that doesn't matter to you but to the rest of us out here it will start to add up. I am not going into a place where I feel disrespected by the store manager (not the staff), she doesn't nothing to keep the deodorants filled, dog & cat treats filled and baby supplies are next to nothing. I had to go to another store to get what I needed because it was too much trouble for her to see if she had any in the back. At least the other managers, check for me when I've needed.

Finally, you need to invest in an air conditioning system for this store. I have not seen a business that doesn't want to have an AC unit on during the hot months. I just don't know how you can ask staff to wear pants, smocks, etc... if they are in 90+ degree rooms.

Dollar Tree needs to pony up the money and make the location great again. Pay for the AC to be installed. Fire the current manager, as Debbie is no asset to your firm, and bring in a backup team, to work with the current staff, and get that stock out. This would prevent the employees at the store from always telling us we are trying to get them out.

Dollar Tree store accident

June 14, 2018

I am writing to tell you that one week ago my 89 year old Mother was shopping in the Dollar Tree store at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers, Mass. One of the employees left a box on the floor, my Mother didn't see the box, as she turned to walk she tripped over the box and landed on the floor face first. Thankfully a woman who saw the accident went to help my Mother up, the woman had to yell out to an employee to get a chair and tissue to wipe the blood off of my Mother's face. The store manager did not acknowledge the accident, nor was an accident report made out or even suggested by any of the employee's.

My Mother ended up with 2 black eyes, a swollen nose, a swollen that turned black, she had to go to the hospital to have xrays to make sure that nothing was broken.

Trying to call your company is awful, I have waiting on the phone for 30 plus minutes to talk to a human being, doesn't appear that is going to happen anytime soon.

I would hope that someone from the corporate office will have the common decency to acknowledge this accident and someone will contact me.

Sincerely,

Donna Marston

I had the displeasure of going to this store (Dollar Tree Danvers) today for the first and last time. They sold balloons to my daughter's birthday party and when I went to pick up they said they ran out of helium. The manager (ah - what a freaking joke of a person) did not do anything to acknowledge their mistake or rectify the situation. He makes me go back in line again to get my money. Of course the line is super long and they simply don't care. The worse part is that he did not even say sorry or show any damn empathy to my daughter that had no balloons for her birthday.

I guess is very simple...you get what you pay for...this place sucks and I will never go back.
I dont care about them being rude to me but being rude to my daughter on her birthday is unacceptable.

Dollar Tree service

I just left the store where there was quite a line at the register. There was only 1 cashier. A lady kept trying to sneak ahead of people and cut in line. Then when we were almost to the beginning of the line the cashier called this lady over and while the rest of us waited she rang her out. There were at least 4 other customers behind us and she skipped us all. I couldn't find anyone in store to complain to and she wasn't wearing a name tag.

Dollar Tree store 2466 merrillville, in

I was checking out this pass Saturday 6-9-18 and was very disturb to hear arguing and cussing in the office. I asked the cashier what was going on an she just shock her head an said sorry. So after checking out the door opens an all of the managers come out the office. The young lady manager Tira I believe her name is went outside in tears ! I walked up to her an just hugged her. And said sorry for the way you are treated. I believe the new store manager name is Leslie and for her to talk to her management staff the way she did is horrible! Everytime I visit this store the young manager Tira an the man manager are so nice and helpful! But to know they work for a bully and rude store manager is horrible. Hopefully corporate can fix this problem.
Sincerely,
Margaret Harrison

Dollar Tree store manager named sonia locklear

Every time I go in this store it is filthy... Can't even roll your cart around for all the liter & product thrown all over the floor. Shelves are in disarray... Really, really nasty! Customers talk to each other about the condition of the store when they pass each other. I try not to go in that store unless I need something quickly as it is just a few blocks from my house. I was in there this past sat. Buying some father's day cards that I needed to mail that day and as usual the store was filthy. I just couldn't keep my mouth shut any longer so I mentioned to the manager how bad this store always looks when I come in here. She said the customers are the ones that leave it so messy. I told her as manager, it was her responsibility along with her staff to her to make sure the store wasn't always in this condition. She than told me the there are a lot of other dollar trees in the city and why don't I go shop at one of them! I am not one to complain much less send in a complaint to a store but this was absolutely uncalled for. I think you need to find a new store manager that understands the meaning of responsibility, customer service and dedicated to maintaining the credibility of not only this dollar tree but all of them. I will never step foot back in that store nor will any of my friends or family!

Visited Store #5127 in Katy, Texas. Not for the first time.
I have never seen such a mess. There were things in almost all of the aisles on the floor. There were boxes, both packed and unpacked lying around. I would be ashamed to open any kind of store in this condition. It was the filthiest I have ever seen. I will not be returning
