Dollar Tree worker

On 11/9/2017 I went to dollar tree at 3 pm to prepay for 20 balloons that needed ready by 5. I returned 5;10 no balloons at all. It took first worker to tell me she just clocked out, other was waiting on customers, finally I just got one stocking shelves because at that point I'm frantic now. She at least helped me and got done as fast as she could. I'm not a petty person but this was for a balloon launch for my daughters birthday who had passed away 1/13/17 at 33 with 4 kids. It literally broke me down into tears as I left store, needless to say of course I was late and balloons had to be launched in dark. No really good it was sad enough but poor babies couldn't even see how far balloons would go. So disappointed and heartbroken!

Dollar Tree cashier-janet

She was basically yelling at me to go to someone else's line. She obviously has issues at home and is bringing them to work. That was uncalled for. I had a bad day already and she made it worse. I will pray for her. She desperately needs it. And I said not one word. And then she proceeded to talk ugly about me, making fun of me the the people she was checking out.

I do want to say Cassidy is very nice. Excellent employee!

Dollar Tree a ride employee who treated me disrespectfully

On Wednesday 11/8/2017 at approximately 5:00 pm. I was in the Delmar NY location when I asked for assistance from a cashier who was a black woman. I'm up in yrs and I didn't hear what she said. She started yelling at me I told you 4 times we are out of kitchen timers. Well with in the next 5 secs. As I asked her if they could be with the kitchen gadgets. The 4 times she told me she was oug of them were 4 times wrong . If she had taken 5 steps down the isle they were hanging right there! I received no apology. I guess Dollar Tree is now hiring rude employees. I don't believe I will ever go back there. I will tell me friends how disrespectful The employee there is. She then proceeded to talk abut her business to a friend who was in line before me using colorful language about taking those people's Christmas presents back! Dollar Tree what have you done to your store I used to like going there!

Dollar Tree customer service

On November 9th 2017 I visited Dollar Tree store number 1398 located at 3755 Renee Drive in myrtle beach, sc. At this time there were several employees in the office and only one register open. The reason I know this is because the cashier the only cashier working stopped working to engage in conversation with another member of the team (who did not open a register but stopped the cashier from working) and discussed how many people were sitting in the office. The line was at least 8 people long. Once I finally made it to the register, another employee (who did not open a register) stepped out of the office and stood next to the cashier. The cashier asked me a series of questions. I let the cashier know I was not interested in answering the questions. The other employee, who could clearly see i was not interested in engaging, proceeded to ask me another series of questions. Including questions the cashier already asked. After waiting for a prolonged period of time, tension was high. Your employees could benefit from a verbal deescalation training. The behavior, from what seemed like management, could have easily initiated an altercation. I don't know what kind of business you are trying to run, but this is an example of a poorly run business.

Dollar Tree rude employees

Sooo... I'm at the dollar tree at the target plaza in mays landing and being that i'm having bladder issues I really have no bladder control, I head to the restroom and see a sign on the door that says no access without an associate, so I ask my son to go get an associate for me.. I'm literally about to pee my pants.. The lady at the register says oh, our new manager doesn't allow anyone to use the bathroom (The sign on the door says otherwise) I hear this exchange, I try to head out to find a restroom but my bladder says otherwise. I break the rule and head to the bathroom before the pee trickles down my leg.. After I pee, I head back out to pay for the items in my cart, I get to the exit door and get stopped by pamela who proceeds to say what am I doing back there so I tell he, I needed to use the bathroom, she points at the sign and says you're not supposed to be back there without an associate, so I tell her that I did ask for assistance to use the restroom but was told that, no I couldn't use it (So i'm confused? Either I can't at all or I can't without an associate" so she proceeds to tell me that I should not have used the bathroom (I apologize and explain that I just could not wait another moment and I didn't want to urinate on myself or the floor, she really doesn't care to hear this and continues to rudely tell me how I should have gotten someone (I tried) then she says since I was back there that she would have to search me because maybe I stole something... (My full cart at the front of the store should make it evident that I was not there to shoplift in the bathroom.) I drop my bag and take off my coat and said please search me, I have no items on my person. She looks at me, sorta glances at my wide open purse laying on the floor and walks away. Heads to the front of the store while arguing with me that I should not have gone back there and what if I got hurt.. Blah blah blah.. All the way to the front where my son waited with my cart. Now i'm getting heated cause she just won't stop.. I'm at the register and i'm saying what do u want me to do, I had to pee? Like at this point she was just rambling on about the rule.. The other cashier and the shoppers didn't say a word and things were beginning to get loud.. I was practically yelling.. Like what did you want me to do? If the other cashier wouldn't have lied about not letting anyone use the bathroom and gotten someone to escort me then this would not have happened. I'm sorry I had to pee.. I basically then asked her repeatedly, did you want to search me or my belongings or call the police down to search me, she really wasn't responding. She then says I would like to ring you up, I told her that I would be writing an email to corporate and that I did not want to be rung up, that I would not shop there anymore, and in the 15 years I had been shopping in that store that i've never been treated like a criminal nor have I ever had to be escorted to the bathroom or been told I may not use it.. I asked her one more time if she wanted to search me before I left at which time she still didn't respond. I'm just shocked and [censored] that was my go to store, no more!

Dollar Tree previous employee

I was employed for dollar tree for about two years until october 22nd, 2017. I was offered a promotion by dm debbie, which was eventually changed to a sideways step. I informed dm debbie and my sm linda that I was going to have to find another job. I informed sm linda when I interviewed for another job. I informed sm linda that I got the job and would stay the two weeks and do the two trucks we revieved within 6 days of each other. On october 21 I was told I would need to work out two more weeks. I did not and turned in my keys. I was expecting a bonus from septembers sales of atleast 225.00 and didn't receive it. I was told that I didnt recieve it because I terminated my employment prior to payout. I earned that bonus a month prior. I want to know why I have not recieved it.

Dollar Tree employee complaint

Had to stand in line with 10 other people, no other registers open and the computer was locked up so no one is being helped. Employee made numerous requests for help, no one came, regardless that there were other employees running around the rear of the store. Finally, "Donna" the manager came up telling us all to "settle down", and that she "had an order to receive first out back". Just saying sorry for the wait would have worked better. When she says to the crowd of customers, "what do you expect, you all had to come to a Dollar Tree to shop". What a burn on all of us. When I finally purchased my one item, Donna makes a sarcastic remark as I walk out to the whole store "have a nice day".
Well, I've never liked that store anyway, its' always dirty and cluttered, and you always have a long wait. I'll be buying from other stores now.

Dollar Tree management

I was hired at this location. When I was hired the manager told me "If you have any issues with you schedule let me know" I have 4 kids and I was hired part time. After starting I found out one of the managers was friends with my oldest son. The first time I worked with her she called my daughter names. The second time she told me my son hated me. Then I had to come in late because my son was sick. I had a Dr. note and they refused to look at it. I asked to change my schedule for a school function of my sons. The next week I was given only 4 hours to work. The manager who know my children said he did it to make me quit.

Dollar Tree dollar tree, 5770 hollister, houston, tx 77040

I have have shopped at this location in the past, but because of the condition of the store, have not for quite awhile. I recently visited the store again, hoping that things had improved. WRONG! This is a nightmare now... you could not walk the store because everything was on the floor, nothing in its correct place. I fully expected something to jump out at me.
I would think you would have a district manager, or someone responsible for this store, it is a disgrace, a bad name for Dollar Tree.
I left without venturing further and other people left shaking their heads. The business you are losing has to be great.

Dollar Tree horrible management and store is disarray

On November second at the Dollar Tree on Sheridan road in Lawton Oklahoma. As I looked around for the things I needed I was in awe of the total disarray of the store. There were boxes of random items such as food items and toys and socks. These were everywhere. Not only could I not get around in the store but all of the shelves were bare. I looked for about 10 minutes when I had had enough. I had my 8 yr old granddaughter with me as well. I had left my basket and was at the door leaving I was asked by the cashier oh you didn't find anything in that amount of time. I felt like she thought I stole something. I said no there's nothing to find here you are out of everything and the place is a mess. My granddaughter had already stepped through the door. As I turned back to exit the door opens and closed and hit her in the mouth. The 2 cashiers bust out laughing at her. She is 8. We were not asked if she was okay or anything only laughed at. My granddaughter was crying and so upset for the laughter I had to just leave. That store is always nasty. Management is horrible and the employees are totally unprofessional. Please do something. I was mortified by your employees actions as well as embarrassed by the stares of other customers and my granddaughter was injured.

Dollar Tree your cashier is a thief!!!

On Saturday 11/04/2014 around 12 noon at your store at 1000 Hallandale bch Blvd Hallandale Fl 33009. I went in, and purchased 2 Planet smoothies, 2 cherry cokes, one Dr pepper, 3 pack of mozzarella string cheese. The cashier was a extremely skinny Hispanic girl. It was lane 2 it was around 12 noon. Well I completed my purchase and asked for 20 dollars cash back. I asked for 2 fives, and one 10. My fault I did not pay attention and folded the money, and put it in my money clip. The bill with cash back came out to around 27 dollars in some change. Well we left the store to go to the Trip rail. I took the money out of my clip and there was only 2 fives. Well I walked back to the car to see if I could find the receipt. Unfortunetly I could not. I called the store, and asked to speak to a manager. The girl said may I help you. I again said is this the manager. She again said may I help you instead of confirming if she was a manager or not. Long story short I have been shopping at Dollar tree for years I will never shop at one again. I will give my business to the local mom and pop dollar stores or family Dollar. Gone give Dollar tree a bad online review.

You may want to check for coupons before you purchase the paper in the future. I do know that sometimes other customers steal coupons from the newspapers without purchasing them.

Dollar Tree customer service/ unprofessional manager

On 29 October 2017, I was shopping at store #7156 (the NEW location in Hinesville, Ga). I was in the store for approximately 20-30 minutes before heading to the checkout line. Upon approaching the checkout line, I noticed that there was two cashiers assisting other customers. At the cash registers, I also noticed the lights which indicate if the lane is open or closed, (one was on and the other was off). Obviously, I choose the lane that had the light on. I ended up getting in line behind a customer that had an enormous amount of items. I didn't consider this to be a problem because I was next in line. After standing in line for 5 minutes waiting for the cashier to finish, about 4-5 more customers started to line up behind me. About a minute or two later, the cashier (which turned out to be the manager named Eddie) that was previously on the checkout line with the light off went over to open the cash register to my left. Once the lane was opened, Eddie proceeded to say, "She (the cashier) can help customers on this register." As opposed to saying, "She can help the NEXT customer in line." As soon as he made this statement, customers that were at the back of my line made a mad dash to get to the new lane. After this occurred, I decided to stay in the line that I was in, because after all I was next in line. At this time, I had been waiting in this line approximately 7-8 minutes when the manager Eddie said, "Ma'am, She can help you at the next register." I told him that I was good and I'll wait. Then he proceeds to say that the register was closed despite having the open light on. Then he told the cashier to turn off the light. Once again, Eddie told me that the register was closed. I informed him that I had been standing in the line for over 5 minutes before he decided to close the line (and turn off the light) and that that was not fair to me or my child to have to get in another line and wait additional time when he allowed other customers to jump ahead of me by not opening the new checkout lane properly. He rudely stated that I could stay in the lane but the cashier was not going to cash me out because the lane was closed. At other stores, if the lane is closing, if you are already in line the cashier or manager will still check you out. I could see his point, IF I had initially went to the lane and it was closed when I got there, or IF I walked up to the lane after he closed it. However, that was not the case. I stood in that line over 5 minutes waiting for service and to be treated like this. The manager was very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Needless to say, I did not purchase any of the items that I had picked out. I was set to purchase a great deal of items but did not because of the treatment that I received. In my opinion, this store/ corporation stands to loose a lot of business because of people in management positions that don't know how to manage. It's truly sad because I genuinely like Dollar Tree stores and after the treatment that I received, I doubt that I will ever shop in one again (at least not this one). When placed in a management position, managers need to realize that a customers time is just as important as his/ her time. The same way Eddie values his time, so do I and I don't like wasting it standing in line unnecessarily. For the resolution, I would like an apology. However, I seriously doubt that will happen. As soon as the incident occurred, I called the number for corporate headquarters twice, but have yet to receive even a phone call. I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, but it probably already has because Eddie seemed very comfortable with his actions regardless of what I said and despite how long I had been waiting prior to him closing the register and turning off the light.

Here's a thought... If customers are a priority, I suggest that Eddie receive more customer service/ relations training. After all, if it weren't for customers he probably wouldn't have a job. Also, if being nice and professional is too hard for Eddie, maybe he should find another line of work!

Hope this issue gets resolved!
