Dollar General store manager

My name is Staff Sergeant Carson. Today on June 8th I took an emergency call as I was backing out of a parking spot and was almost hit while on my motorcycle by the store manager because she wanted a particular spot in front. I went in to ask for the manager and the same person that almost hit me was the store manager Tammy Stamford 18425 US-171 Rosepine LA 70659. She was very rude and disrespectful all over a parking spot. I was in uniform and took this type of attitude from a store manager and did not get any time of resolution from her behavior. I intend on discussing this with the public newspaper if the issue is t resolved.

Dollar General manager harassing customers

My niece went to dollar general in florence Arizona. It was 5 minutes till closing. The lady working whos name is Linda told my nice that she does not have to keep the store open until the closing time that is posted. She told my niece that she had less than 2 minutes to get what she needed. She went in for a simple bag of shredded cheese. My niece was in there 30 seconds. Linda followed her to the back where the cheese is kept telling her she needed to hurry up and that she does not have to let her buy it and that she does not have to keep the store open until the posted closing time. The entire time this woman was extremely rude and harrasing her she was in there. She was in the store less that 2 minutes. No one deserves to be treated that way and someone needs to make sure that the job is being done correctly. If you cannot be a professional when working in customer service then you should find another job where individuals are not being harassed because they needed one small ingredent to finish dinner with. This behavior is completely unacceptable.

Dollar General service

I stopped to buy my local Dollar General store, #12206, to buy a few last minute items for the night. As I pulled up, not out of my car yet, a store employee stood inside the door and waived me and other customers who were pulling up and in their cars off saying they were closed. She gestured with waves and the cut across the neck signal. I looked at the time and it was 8:50. So I thought I completely missed closing and the store closed at 8pm. I got out of my car to take a look at the posted store hours sign to see what time the store closed but there were no postings to tell me what time. As I looked I could here the people inside say what is she looking for and a response of the store hours. I asked the lady standing inside what time do you close and with an annoyed tone and very rude body language she said "Now!" My complaint is not only that the store closed early since it should close at 9pm but also the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the staff. There could be a number of reasons for closing early but regardless of the reason there is never an excuse for rudeness and poor customer service.

Dollar General false advertisement

I went online a couple of weeks ago and submitted a survey to which I received a coupon for $3 off my next $15 purchase. When I went into the Dollar General next to work today (Bluffton Rd, Ft Wayne, IN), they informed me that they are not taking the survey coupons anymore due to their store not getting credit for them? I guess I'm confused on why they would hand me another survey code with my receipt again today if this is the case. Plus I don't think your company should be advertising this, if you aren't going to honor this program!

Dollar General not clean at all

All dollar generals in st joseph missouri are disgusting there is store 0219, 7111, 2246, these are the store numbers on my receipt, shelfs are empty, staff don't speak to you, not even saying hello. I called corporate several times, no one returns my phone calls. Why are these stores allowed to look like this? When I ask the staff to use the bathroom they say their restrooms are closed due to them not working. So they can't even wash their hands. The staff will tell you also the reason they their shelfs are empty is due to their managers only working few hours a week or theit short staffed. The corporate like the vice president need to go see these stores and not only visiting one store all the time, cuz they know their dirty and disgusting. Most of their food you buy is expired, had that happen several times also

Dollar General the whole store on king hill avenue in st. joe mo.

New stuff laying on the floors missing merchandise, dirty, prices not above merchandise and out of a lot of stuff or just hasn't been put out.I have never seen such a mess.dirty dirty stuff thrown everywhere dirty big mess and workers r never restocking just complaining standing around when there's doo I much to do it needs corrected I have been to several stores through the u.s and never seen one in this shape

Dollar General the whole store

Went to Dollar General in the South end section of St. Joseph MO and was thoroughly disgusted by the store. It looked as though the whole age group of 5-10 had been in the store. Toys all over the floor, had to avoid walking on any to get down the isle. All the shoes were pulled of the shelves and on the floor, skipped that section, Walmart will do for those. Nothing stocked. Shelves empty. Store dirty, and I mean awful, awful dirty. Why would you have a store as disgusting as that open at all. Your manager there needs fired and all the hateful staff that works there too. DO the world a favor and close that trash pit down. I will drive as far as I need to, to find a decent dollar general.

Dollar General management service

Every time I go into the local dollar general store the line is backed up through the store there is only one register open and the management is no where to be seen. Today I had a return and I also had things in my cart to check out. After the manager on duty refunded my return she told me that I had to go to the other line to check out because she was supposed to be on break that line had at least ten people in it once I was in the line she told others that she could take them in her line. Then began acting out slamming things and being rude not only to customers but an employee as well. I have had it with her she's always rude and always worried about her break this is not the first time that I have observed her behaving like this. Also there are employees in there that have extremely long hair and are are constantly playing with it which takes time from getting the customers checked out. I will MEVER SHOP at this store again and I go in there 3-5 times a week because it is only a block from my house. From now on I will drive to the family dollar or the local grocery store. I'm one fed up customer!

Dollar General management

Store #01537. I can no longer remain quiet about the manager of this store. I only wish I had her name...this woman is one of the rudest people I have come across. Not only is she rude to her employees, and she has no problem belittling them in front of customers, she is just as rude to customers! God forbid you bother her with a question or try and get around her when she is stocking a shelf. She has no business dealing with people. She is a miserable human being ...and she stinks like an ashtray. Why must employees smoke right at the front door. And I don't know what Candy's position is at this store but she isn't much better. This store has aisles blocked with stock thst hasn't been put away yet there she is outside smoking or yelling at an employee who should be at the register but in fact is trying to put away product. This i can tell you...the next time I go into this store and see or hear her going off on an employee or even a customer I WILL confront her. Please check i to tbis woman's behavior as it is completely unacceptable. Thank you 🐶

Dollar General digital coupon service

I have had several issues when checking out at the Hilldale WV Dollar General in regards to mobile coupons. I enter my # and some do not come off. Even if I can show the cashier that it is there, the response is "I don't know, if it doesn't come off automatically I can't help you. " I go to Dollar General because I can use this service and don't have to clip coupons, and I don't have to use as much time shopping around for deals. Although I have ended up paying more for items because it does not come off automatically. Today was Aussie Products $2/2. I ended up putting one back bc it would not com off so why buy 2 to save if you're not going to get the savings? I'm dissatisfied enough to just look around for the best deals elsewhere. So in conclusion, I think there needs to be someone looking into the issue especially when you can show the cashier when that it has been loaded.

Dollar General service

My husband and I, including our one year old, came here to shop. The manager, who was Hispanic, told us she had to check our diaper bag. Which looks like a backpack. My husband is Mexican and I'm white. He sometimes gets mistaken for white. But I was the only Caucasian in the whole store. She racially profiled me. I had never had this problem before.

Dollar General communication issues with manager

I have worked for my local DG for six months. My manager has changed schedules without communicating with her employees about it, so we get calls from the assistant managers saying that we were supposed to be working. Previous and current employees have brought up her poor communication skills among other issues as well, such as her seeming to be biased over another employee whose family works at another Dollar General.

Dollar General product and service.

After reading some of your complaints I believe your company has no intentions of improving your shortcomings and probably will not heed my mine either. So here are my three complaints which could be easily be remedied by your company. First, the shelves were empty and in disarray so the advertised items were nonexistent or hidden. Second, advertised markers on shelves were outdated not by a day but by weeks. One or two items can be easily overlooked but there were many and the time lapses to boot shows lack of professionalism. Finally, why bother having digital coupons when they continually fail to ring up correctly. This shopping experience was a total disaster and the manager was rude and unapologetic. I returned my purchases for a full refund. I realize I am one of many and probably will not make a dent in your sales but I will have the satisfaction of not purchasing anything from Dollar General again.

They are horrible. They have handled situations very wrongly. They have lied to all of my family. Shelia Haynes made my 18 year old little sister cry, and humiliated her and compared her son to her and said that she was making graduates look bad. Ryan Launtry is no manager he is a thief. And Sheila is covering up for him. Something has got to be done. I will never shop at a dollar general again. Will be going to court have a lawyer and will sue unless something is done immediately I can't seem to talk to anybody I've called and everybody gives me the runaround and my whole family and this is just unacceptable for a company in for "management".

Your store here Abilene TX on butternut and south 13th is terrible the cashier's are very unprofessional to say the least. I a men 39 years of have shopped that DG store since it was built there and up until today which is the 6/2/17 I was in the store had an atlercasion with another customer I then politely told the cashier I wasn't trying to and altercation on DG property was in a forcefully tone to walk away cause the other customer was a loyal customer the other customer put his groceries away waited outside of store and even after first walking away when I protected myself they were saying I hit the customer first after clearly seeing I turned my back to enter my vehicle. I feel totally disrespected and very much unsatisfied as a customer and would tell the world not to go to that store the Hispanic lady cashier my have not seen your as much in the store but doesn't like to but loyal so called customer. Never will I ever this store again and for that matter a DG anywere.

Dollar General store#14679 columbus, oh

I am contacting you with a very serious issue/concern. I shop at this location several times a week. And I spend thousands here a year. You can run my debit card to verify that as well. This evening I was running in just to grab a hose nozzle for my yard hose. I was in the aisle looking at the different selection when an employee came up tp me and said something. I couldn't understand what exactly he said so I said excuse me I can't hear you. He proceeded to get very loud with a store full of customers and said didn't we just throw you out last week and tell you not to come back. I was in shock I said I am sorry what? He then proceeded to repeat the same thing he said before but much louder. At this point there are several customers staring at me. I said no I shop here several times a week and spend a lot of money and I don't need to steal anything. He just walked away. I was in shock and finally picked out the $8.00 nozzle I was going to purchase. I was walking up to the cashier and he was just standing in the main aisle. I went up to him and said I have never been so insulted in all of my life. I come here all of the time and spend a lot of money here. He said my bad and just walked away. I then went to my regular cashier Chris and asked her to please tell her manager that I shop here all of the time and spend a lot of money. She said I know and will tell him. Chris is wonderful and also a special needs adult so I am not sure if the main manager will even be told about the incident. I work as a field customer service rep and deal with corporate communications as well for my employer and if someone in the store would happen to be a customer of ours or even a co-worker they would not look at me the same. They would probably assume I was a thief because why would the employee at the store accuse her unless she did it. I can GURANTEE you that Dollar General will never receive another dime from me. I am going to post this incident all over social media as well as file an actual Formal Complaint with the BBB. I am also going to contact my local news and advise them of the situation. I am pretty sure it is illegal to accuse someone of being a thief without documented proof at a place of business. I was not only furious, I was hurt to my inner soul. Our parents raised us that there is nothing worse than a liar and a thief and now for the first time in my life I have been accused of both in the same day by the same person at a business that I spend my hard earned money at. It was enough to actually make me cry. I would hope that disciplinary action would be taken against this employee and I would rethink your company policy on confronting innocent customers and accusing them of horrible things. This incident happened at store #14679 located @ 2100 Sullivant Ave Columbus, OH 43223. My receipt # is 890588491121339615010917919919915814211191. The other numbers on the receipt are the date 6/1/2017 the time was 5:09 PM. Which means I am sure you can pull this whole incident up on camera to confirm what happened. The next number is the store number then 02 and finally 7582. I am requesting contact back immediately and my info is as follows:

Dollar General rude service

I was in dollar general market in Elwood shopping for a few things as I walk up to a register where there where a few people in line this nasty older lady by the name ruth yelled out loud this register is closed this was very embarrassing as I start walking around to another register witch the line was long she starts running her mouth aloud saying can't these dumb customers see the light is off at point I'm upset emotionally and every embarrassed this lady has done this before and nothing gets done member of management shouldn't be allowed to work customer service if she is very rude like that I did talk to the manager on duty. This should not ever happen she gets away with this all time and nothing has gets done this is bad for your business

Dollar General your employee was very rude to me

Tracey I think her name is, cussed at me and got in my face after I old he people in front to hurry. Only because they were standing chit chatting. They clearly knew each other because as the other customers were yelling at me telling me they'd beat my [censor]. She walked out rubbed her fat stomach against my back and then cussed at me again. Kiss these people's "child" then insisted they didn't know each other. So, as long as this woman is working there I will continue to be rude to her. As she is rude to me every time I come in which is at least once a week. I will continue to file complaints until she is gone.

Dollar General bad customers services

Hi my name is Betty Fulton and i love shopping at Dollar General because it's one of my favorite store but one of your employee name Amanda Smith is not a good employees because when i got up to the register one night she look like she jump into me and another lady conversation and she was very rude. And told her excuse me but we are talking and we were not talking to you. And now she is very racial when i come in now but i will be contacting my lawyers because I refuse to let her treat me like this and i am a very good customer of that store. The store number is 07814 and the address is 1380 3rd ave s Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. And I am a supervisor at my store i work at in retail and you don't talk your customers like that because you having a bad day. And this is not the first time she did this I try not to report her but she is set in her on way.

Dollar General cashier was not helpful and borderline rude

I shop this store every week and have had excellent customer service by every employee especially Sharon Blevins, who I believe is one of the store managers. If she had been there I would have brought this to her attention and I'm sure she would have fixed this immediately. But she was not, so I feel it is important to let you know about this new employee and her unhelpful behavior. Before checking out I asked the cashier if the bags of chips I was buying qualified for the "buy 2 get one free on lays and Tostitos". She said bluntly, "I don't know". I said the sign said lays and Tostitos but I would like to make sure I have the sizes that qualify for the sale. She didn't reply but continued to check out my items. When she totaled my sale I noticed my total savings Did not include the discount. I told the cashier that it didn't give me the discount on the chips. Then she looked at me and said, " there is nothing I can do about it". Being a person who does not like to make a scene in public I paid the bill and walked out to my car. However the more I thought about it the more I thought someone should be notified. She was not wearing a badge, so I do not know her name, but she was in her 20's with reddish brown hair in a braid. If i hadn't asked her about the chips before she began my checkout I would not had been upset, but how hard would it had been to do a price check and tell me the Tostitos were not the right size or flavor so that I could select the correct products for the promotion. I didn't come into the store for chips but made the purchase due to the promotion. My bill totaled $70.90, so I bought multiple items, but I do not feel that the cashier was friendly or tried at all to give me quality customer service.
