Dollar General coupons

Hi my name is Christina I have a complaint about my digital account and or Dollar general I went to the Dollar General today to purchase my weekly  Household items in my coupons on my digital account are not working so I ended up paying double the amount I was suppose to and I was told by the manager there is nothing she could do about it and I needed to contact corporate and they might can help me out I'm not sure if I should guess return the stuff and lose out on the few coupons that did go through or mayb i can get some of my coupons back or if you guys can help me out I really don't understand what's going on with the digital account but it wouldnt even let not 1 coupon go thru like the cash register was frozen then the next transaction was all good. 1st transaction she could manually put some in but digital coupons I have didnt work and after that my whole transaction was messed up but I really needed my item so I just paid. I really hope you guys can help me in my situation I really love dollar general I'm able to get things that are not  priceed high. They are at a reasonable amount and still be able to survive due out the month thank you again

Dollar General rude staff

I was in line at about noon today. The customer in front of me wanted the digital coupons but refused to download the app in order to get them. She held up the line until 14 people were waiting. The active cashier was still super nice and professional. She turned around and asked two other female employees who were lounging around chit chatting to please help open the other registers or put up the perishable food. Both told her no and stood there talking to each other in front of now 17 customers while she did all the work. What a damn shame.

Dollar General manager disrespect of older customers

he speaks to older customers with attitude and as if he has no patience with you when you object to the way he is speaking to you he get angred and refuse your purchase most of the buildings are senor buildings and do complain of his treatment of them and do not want to patronize the store because of it he acts as if you are being punish for not allowing him to speak to you disrespectfully

Dollar General employee behavior

I am sending in this Complaint about store #07233 Dollar General in Springfield Mo at address 3240 West Chestnut Expressway Springfield Mo 65802. I am a regular customer of this store. Every Time I come in to shop and their is 2 girls by the names of Karie and Kelsie working together all I see them doing is talking by the registers or outside smoking instead of working. The store is always a mess, I hear the girls complain about store managers. I noticed when the Guys are working Forrest Chuck and Cedric are there they are working hard. This store needs more guys less girls. I use to like going into this store. Please do something about this. A very concerned Customer

This company needs to watch videos when the 2 girls work, and watch the videos when the other employees work and see who work more. I'm tired of seeing the girls by the register and outside taking smoke breaks like every 20 minutes

I see that this has not been fixed yet, still the same thing with these 2 girls. I'm going to complain to the hire ups then this complaint board. This store needs a new overhaul with no women workers or more professional women then what they have. Since I've been shopping there they have been through a lot of store managers and Kelsie was trying to get me to do surveys against the Store manager they fired.

Dollar General store massive clutter

Our local Dollar General store # 12994 at one time was my absolute go to store for primarily any & all items. Over the past 2 months or so this same store has made a dramatic decline. Stock lines the aisles on carts while the shelves remain empty. Not only can I not find my much needed items I feel at risk from the major clutter on each aisle. This week I tried yet once again to shop there in hopes the chaos inside had been settled. Imagine my surprise to find that not only had the chaos been corrected, they then had 2 aisles roped off with signs saying aisles closed. This continued disrespect for each & every customer goes beyond any I've ever seen or experienced. Sadly, I'm not alone in my thoughts and/or feelings. What was once a clean dependable shopping environment has turned into a disastrous nightmare that I do my best to avoid.

Dollar General coupons use

I live in a small area of va I go to store 07338 I was told that they will not be taking no more than 1 coupon on one item so I cant get 2 of the same items. They get their money back . I was told this came from the head office I just trying to see why when the coupon states how many we can use in each transaction.Im on disiblity and coupons helps me and my family and I go to this store almost every day for something but you will be loosing a lot of couponers with this action thanks

Dollar General disrespectful managers/leads

I am a current dollar general employee and I just started a few weeks ago. Since starting, I feel that our leads and other mamas gets treat employees wrongfully and are quite disrespectful. They do not train you, yet expect you to know everything right out the gate. I feel like they treat us less because we are new and because they feel entitled because of their title. We cannot keep employees for this reason and it makes it where we are always low on staff.

Dollar General appearance of the inside and outside of the store.

This Dollar General is a brand new store less than a year old, if not just a year. My husband and I went into it for the first time last weekend 10/13/18 and it was the nastiest, cluttered Dollar General I have ever been in. We were both in shock. We shop in your stores at least twice a week but in the area were we live. The shelves where all in disarray, big carts blocking aisles that you could not pass down. Items from different areas in the wrong aisles. Then when you went outside the parking lot had trash all along the curbs where you parked and the grass was at least 4 feet high. It could not have been cut all summer long. How could this store be like this when it is such a beautiful brand new store. It really is a shame. We love, love shopping at your stores. Everything is in the them that you could need or want with out having to go into a big store such as Walmart. I have NEVER written a letter to a business before, but I felt someone in management needed to know. Thank you for your time.

Dollar General my dm

I put in my two week notice because my DM has way too many stores that he always visits around the ones that are on his favorites list when I call him because everybody had quit when I took over this store I literally got down to three people he never responds to my text message or calls until something is critically wrong with the store I was never informed of any deposits that were missing but however when he told me that he was transforming a training manager who I do know for my former District that is not a trying manager before I got here named Tina she told me that there were at least three deposits missing so that day he came down to watch CCTV and no deposits had came up missing that I was told by another store also I am being overlooked as a manager I am the manager that was acting manager that was in charge before he physically forced a store manager Crystal Buick out of the store because he had told me when I had came over to the district that he was trying to get rid of her for the longest but did not have any proof of what she was doing wrong as a manager I do realize that as taking over this store as the acting store manager that she was in a no-win situation in her store and he did her exactly the way that he's doing me now starving her with no people to come in to help her when her whole staff was not up to par 4 running a DG establishment another thing is that he ignores store managers at his district that he will come and see about you on a day-to-day basis I don't believe this is right and I do know that when I came here an hour and a half Drive every day he was supposed to pay me mileage he only paid me one week and I have been working 3 months with them and I was traveling between three different stores and one time and I've never got paid my mileage except for a one time and then when he send me this floater name Bailey he has been paying her mileage since the day she started and she she was also a floater A salesperson that was from Driveline and she has been transferred over to Dollar General and I know that's against sop so what I'm asking is I never intended to take anybody job but what I'm asking is what is my mileage that is supposed to be paid to me and that he promised me that he was going to have me to be a store manager to keep holding on to this store and run it and maintain when I told him that my trucks were backing up and I had nobody to work my Freight he told me that my backroom could be impacted as long as my showroom floor was nice meeting where we covered and organized he has made a difference between me and other women that has floated in and out of this store because he pays them their mileage from the day that they're started and did not pay me mine and when we came together in a conference meeting yesterday 10:16 it was brought out that he was telling everybody as he did not have one person that was on the same plan as far as everybody and I also had another employee to quit yesterday so now I am down to three and one key holder besides me I am very stressed because I have been pulling doubles and I have been reaching out to him the only thing he tells me he's going to pay me they do not pay my overtime right inside my hourly associate they pay me for 50 hours of regular time and anything that's over there they pay me overtime but that is not right because I'm supposed to get 40 straight hours in the overtime and supposed to be but he is not paying me I have asked him about why am I not getting paid right for us my overtime and his response was that he do not do my time so he was going to check and see what he did not ever get back to me he has neglected me since the time that he pushed me into the store and he told me that he was going to have my own store and then when he had another Floater come from my old District he being told me that I was going to be under her and that I didn't have a store also there was an issue with another store manager name Tiffany Maxwell who my DM came in one day and told me to get to stockers to come in and help push the freight so that we can build a team because my inventory was coming up on the 29th of this month he instead of him not telling her or what he told me when I told him which stocker was from which store he did not handle the situation the lady call Tiffany Maxwell call me and told me to tell her stocking to go home and also she asked me was I playing a game with her because I did not authorize through her to get her stocker but the DM came to me to get her Stocker to come stock in my store today but he never did resolve this issue and I told him that it was a problem between me and her because no one has the right to talk to me downgraded as she talk to me, she also accused me of having a relationship with her stocker because he had put in a transfer from her store to come work at my store on the phone and he did not do anything he did not call her and he did not look into this situation and I feel like I am not being respected for the job that I am here doing he just runs slap over me because I don't socialize with the way that they do their business up here in the 510 district and basically if you do not involve yourself and drama and you pride yourself on teamwork you do not fit in in this District I just want to be appreciated for my work that I do and be accommodated my Mileage Plus correct my pay

Dollar General 4996 market, boardman ohio 44512

I made a purchase in the store on 10-17-18. i left one of my bags behind. It took me some time to get my merchandise out of the buggy and into my car. Enough time for the cashier to alert me that they had a bag of mine. Anyway, it was late before I noticed what was missing. When I went to change my kitchen garbage bag I noticed I didn't have them. The items I remember having left were hefty 30 gallon bags @ $7.50, 2 packs of rexall brand nicotine gum 4mg at 7.50 each and a dawn bottle scrubber that was $1.75.
I call the store first thing this morning at 8:15am. the girl who answered remembered the bag and some of the things in it but couldn't find it. The manager said they put the stuff back and I would need a receipt to get them back.
I believe I should get the merchandise due to the cashiers neglect and the fact that they returned the merchandise less than 24 hr. after, and the girl remembered the bag.

Dollar General new gm is a convicted thief and drug felon

I want to bring it to attention that Chasity was just promoted or hired in at the DG Store in Chandler, Indiana. She is a known gang member in Evansville and a convicted thief and drug felon. To my knowledge the DG corporation does not hire persons convicted of felony theft. I am concerned for not only rhe integrity of the company but of the good people of the Town of Chandler. I hope and expect this matter will be resolved in a swift and professional manner. Thank You.

Dg runs a background check and if there were any convictions she would not have been hired so she must not have a record as you assume. And when promoted to any type of key holder position. A drug screen is mandatory so she must be clean. Quit assuming.

Dollar General district manager tammy fisk

I live in Huntingburg Indiana. I am writing this complaint on our DM. We recently had a new store come up in our town so we have two DGs here. One is a plus the new one then we have the old one that has pretty much about everything. Our store #02144 was mapped wrong or set up wrong in the beginning so now a million years later they want to complain. I've been there almost 3yrs, my manager got her position not to long after I started anyways she doesn't know a whole lot about the office things, she can do some but most of the time she is running around trying to keep the place stocked, she's made the store look a whole lot better and during the last two years we've had 3 DMs the one is Tammy the one I'm complaining about. Here lately she's starting to nit pick, I think shes afraid she's going to lose her job so she's trying to push the attention our way cause we're not a new store and it was set up wrong. She's all of a sudden pointing out things that have never been something of a big issue such as an employee punching out late. At night the store closes at ten it's policy the safe doesn't get set till the door is locked, that's a nine minute wait we usually get all done and out the door at 10:30, been that way as long as I've been there and before, we're not to clock out till all work is done and that's like 10:25, she's making my manager change our schedule to where whoever works closing and clocked out after 10:15 comes in later to compensate for being there longer than scheduled, stupid. Also there are five of us employees that work here not counting my manager and me and the other lady who is on her 11th year are both assistant mgrs. I've not had training and they know that but I know some things and can throw freight, anyway my mgr was told she only has 126 hours a week to schedule us then says she wants her (my mgr) to hire 2 more people, that's crazy, people can't, I can't live off that. I lost my disability cause they had me working too many hours now they, she (DM) wants to take away from everyone, plus she wants to act like we don't know what we're doing. A price change thing came on start yesterday well we, I wasn't sure how to print the labels then our truck came well we got two yesterday not counting vendors and we started getting a little busy and it was out of my mind to ask the other assistant when she came in how to do it cause like I said she has 11yrs she knows a lot of how to find things on the computer and Tammy calls at 5 asking if it's done and I get call at home from other astm asking me and telling me Tammy wants it done today I said I'd do when I came in morning well she went ahead and done it but this morning when I came in I saw on messaging she emailed everyone and said she needs them done by today, now was it nessassary to call our store and complain, then calling my manager cause clocking out late and I clocked in a couple minutes early yesterday morning. Come on, seriously, she's nit picking. There's plenty other things she's insisting my mgr and us employees do which yes it's fine there does have to be rules and guidelines and I know it's important certain tasks have to be done but I feel like she thinks that we think we don't have to obey the rules or have assigned tasks cause we've been pretty well on our own for a couple years. The two DMs before her would come to the store check things out and tell the things that need to be done and be on third way they never bothered us cause our store was looking up better than it had been and they saw improvements. They didn't talk about us to other store managers. And if they did it wasn't known. Our customers may not like to do surveys, and we're not going to heckle them to do it, alot of our customers are older folks and don't know alot of today's technology to do the surveys, i dont know. The DAM Tammy came from a Pet Smart store, no comparison to dg none. I love enjoy working for Dollar General, I've met so many customers and I still don't know names to and they don't know mine but when they come into the store it's hello and a big smile like we've known each other for years, I've had chats with some of them I've listened to their personal problems with patience and understanding I've joked and laughed with them but I've never been rude to a customer, I've never had harsh words with any of them not even when I've had a bad day. My manager was starting to give in and give up and possibly go elsewhere cause this DM is acting like we haven't done anything like our store is a disaster and nothing is right at all and my mgr has worked her butt off to whip the place up and get it better and to have someone step in and basically tell you that you haven't done sh..t all the hard work was nothing and that you should step down from your position kinda takes a toll on you does lower your spirits but she's been my mgr she's taught me alot about certain things and I've taught her things, it's been an amazing learning experience and I would like to continue it cause I like learning. I pepped talked my mgr and she's just going to keep her chin up and not throw in the towel cause real mgrs fight for what's right and for their team, that DM should do the same, she should ask my mgr or try showing her some of these things she's demanding be done, she should try to devote some time into teaching not preaching. They want to push these surveys for competition between the stores especially when it's between an existing one and a brand new one. Our store does need some cosmetic repairs, but as far as the way we been running it our customers haven't complained how it's ran. We need more of our hours returned so we can go back to our normal routine and get freight put up, this one person running rotainers and one doing totes and customers vs. two running freight and someone on register gets it done, at the rate we're going now we will fail. This is our second week with these crazy hours and we have inventory next month she wants us to drown, you have to see she wants us to fail. We want a DM who cares, one who's on our side to, we deserve it. I don't know what else to say in this book cause im sure neither you or I thought it was going to be this long. Will you please, I'm begging you please address this matter and let me know what you think . I told my mgr to call and talk to someone but she wouldn't cause she's always ready to Fgive up. I too would like recognition for speaking up in this matter so could you please, tell me am I wrong for the way I'm thinking.

Dollar General about service I get

I have lived in lockesburg Arkansas for over 30 years will on the morning of the 17 of October I go in and buy a few things and realize after I got home I was missing something so at 4 in the afternoon I called a women named chealsy or Kelsey answered and before I can say anything she hung up on me so I called back and she hung up on me again so finally after 3 or 4 time I told her that I was gonna report her cause living here as long as I have and as much as I go into that store I want respect and employees to be nice not rude and when I was there this morning I mentioned that my son bought a loaf of bread and it was molded and I know a lot of people so if you want my business or anyone's else ya need to do something about that employee or I and my family will go somewhere else and I have a huge family

The employee did the right thing. The customers in the store take priority over a caller. Besides, if she'd been on the phone standing at the register, those customers would've felt the same way you do.

Dollar General discrimination

Everytime I go into the dollar general on brian road in nixa mo I can't shop in peace im always being watched and followed as if im going to steal something I am not a thief and it seems its only directed to me because im black there was also a caucasian lady in the store the worker left her counter to follow me and ask was I ok because I had items from health and beauty and was looking a food items she followed me to see was I stealing and this is everytime I go in this store and is a big problem makes me angry I work hard every day I dont need to steal anything I may need to talk to someone over you guys head

Dollar General overcharged/ lack of customer service

I sent my 17 yr old daughter in Dollar General so she could get an iPhone charger cable. She was sent with $12 cash. The only one that DG had for an iPhone at Calera, Al location was $7. My daughter went to the counter to check out. The product rang up for $14. My daughter told the cashier that was wrong and what she saw the price to be. The cashier states she can't do overrides on phone charger products, which I thought was an odd statement. My daughter insists, since it wasn't the only one on the peg and that was a higher price for DG for just a cable, no box or extras. The peg stated $7 iPhone cable and was the only option. The cashier tells my daughter, "you'll just have to choose a different one." My daughter reminds and shows her (the cashier) there's no other option, and the system must have a glitch. They both go back to the register and the cashier proceeds to deny my daughter relief of the overcharged item until my daughter says something yet again. The cashier finally says she can give a $2 discount. WTH?!? My daughter knew I was STILL waiting in the car for her to get to a doctor's appointment, so she paid. The cashier wasn't just rude, and shady, but a liar, and can't add. It rang up for $14 originally. She said she'd take off $2. I only sent my daughter in with $12 cash. So even with $2 off, it would be more than what I sent in with tax. But somehow, I got $1.10 in change from this insane transaction. Oh, and no receipt. I'm typing this as I'm in my doctor's office waiting room, BTW.

Dollar General employees

There is a manager kay at your weedsport ny store who is nasty, rude her and other employees talk about personal problems, they swear, and ignore the fact customers are there and they always look high. Everyone has complained and nothing has been done they need to be fired local businesses have complained as well and alot of people will not shop there anymore. Here are some other names, amber, amanda are the other girls and aleisha. I will take this to the better buisness bureau its alreay been brought to the town board as well.

Dollar General returning a defective dvd w a receipt cashier stated was a federal law could not give refund

I bought a detective dvd at dollar general went home tried to watch it with my son and it would not play I immediately returned to the store with my receipt and dvd and cashier told me she would not accept the return because it was a federal law. the time was in the evening, close to closing the cashier blond hair about 45 years of age. I left the movies on the counter as I was astounded she would use the federal gov as an excuse to not give me my money back. I actually wanted to exchange it for a movie that worked, she wouldn't listen to reason.

Dollar General falling in the parking lot

On 10/16/2018 at 8:15 a.m. I parked right at the front door on the right side. It was the first available parking space after the handicap parking space . I got out of the driver seat and proceeded to open the driver side back door to get my child out. When I got my child out I went around the back of my van to go to the passenger side to get my other child. As I was going around the back of my van I noticed the ground was wet with some slippery oilmuddy stuff on the ground. About the time I noticed it my foot slipped and I fell on my knees and my right hand and arm while my child was in my left arm. When I got up I noticed the stuff was all over our arms, feet, and had stained my clothes. I told the store manager and she was aware of the problem. She stated that it was oil, gas, or diesel that had spilled out of the back of a truck.

Dollar General the service and how prices have rises, service is very poor

I often shopped at the dollar general at least 12 times a month. I have often noticed how poorly this store is managed and the cleanseness of this store is. There are always tons of boxes in the isles that are so dangerous you cannot even drive a carriage through it. I rearely see the staff putting any of it away. The manager of this store always seems frazzled and overwhelmed she's not a nice person always very snappy to customers and staff. A very unorganized person. Does anyone realize by naming the store dollar general is by far a bargain to shop there the prices are insane and rises. Your company is out of control. Your company should really shop for bargines that would be a bargine to want to shop more often here. I have spent lots of money in this store to be treated like I have and to see this store is a disgrace the way things have been going on. I feel your store is overpriced, if a consumer such as myself is bringing this to your attention I feel maybe others may come forward or already have. There is an incident that happened to my granddaughter who is 10 yrs old, who gets an allowance for her chores. We live not far from the Kingston pa store where she likes to ride her bike to find something in this store from her allowance. When she got there on this particular day she had to use the restroom which she did. But when she returned the key to the front she was accused by an employee of stealing a set of artificial nails and putting them on in the restroom. She was crying that she had not done any such thing. She came home was very upset needless to say so was I. I don't raise her this way and she is a good girl. We complained to the manager and nothing was done about it even tho it was proven she did not do this. I am very upset over this and all I have explained in this legitimate complaint. I no longer am interested in shopping and spending my hard earned money in your store. Your store has put a bad taste in my mouth.

Dollar General store stocking, service and cleanliness.

The store on Clark Rd. In Show Low Az. Has turned into a total mess. The shelves are always half empty, Carts used for stocking are Blocking all the isles and shelves. Only one person is working most of the day, only one register is open and 6 to 7 people are waiting in line. More and more of the people I know say they wil never go back. The store is filthy including the floors.

That's the way these stores like to operate. Realistically the more workers they have, the higher the prices would be. For the prices to be low, they can only afford one to two workers per shift and that's it.
