Dollar General digital coupons

I did not receive the automatic $2 Off $8 worth of Vaseline products. I purchased 3 @ 3.50 each. I did not receive the automatic $2 Off $10 also did not come off. My subtotal was 12.50.

Dollar General incompetent employees and filth

Sadly, the local Dollar General #14660 on 101 Salt Grass Circle Poolville, TX is a disgrace to the local communities and it's customers. This store should be a welcome addition to those of us living in rural areas for simple items that you would otherwise have to drive 20 miles or more to purchase from the "local" grocery store. Within the last year the store has gone from needing to be tidied to complete filth and disgust. The shelves are rarely stocked, the coolers are empty more than their not, the carts loaded with products stand in the aisles for months on end. To top off this mess, the employees are rarely cordial and lack obvious cleanliness and ability to perform simple customer service procedures.

Dollar General store appearance

Today is may 27th, memorial day weekend!

Today I went to the dollar general store in palmer, ma! I have been in this store before and it is a brand new store! I was thankful that dollar general opened a store in an area that is rural and needs this store! This is a beautiful store!

But today I cannot say that the store looked beautiful! I have worked in a store before and know the hard work involved in keeping the store clean and the stock on the shelves and not blocking the aisles!

I was discussed with how this store looked! A brand new beautiful store that looked like a hurricane hit it! I asked the woman if she needed more help in that store and she said no! Said just needed time to put things on the shelves! Someone should time her that all is not well, if the stock isn't on the shelves! Upsets me on how, no one does their job anymore! No one has pride in their job! If she had a good work ethic, the store would look perfect! Your store in palmer will fail with the current staff in that store!

Every aisle was full of stock to be put out! The woman said there is a lot more in the back room! Yet the shelves were empty and a carriage won't fit down an aisle!

If you need me there to help, just call! Please clear up this store! If they don't clean it up, i'll take pictures and post them! Thank you stephanie s. Wilbraham, ma 01095

Dollar General refusing dollar general coupons

I bought Kellogg's frosted flakes ha coupon on back for free cereal.I went to use this coupon and dollar general refused to take it.Manager said they wouldn't allowed to take free coupons even though they sold cereal with coupon on box only redeemable at Dollar general.I have already emailed Kellogg's to see if this is fraud or what? I bough the Kellogg's cereal at same dollar general where I tried to redeem coupon and was treated like I had done something wrong

Dollar General customer service

very rude customer service, my total was 36.12 and I told the cashier I'm gunna do 24 cash and the rest on the card . she said okay but I have to charge you card first then cash so how much on the card she asked and I said you would charge me 12.12 on the card and the rest cash . She charged it all on the card and the manager came out her office rolling her eyes and cussing . very unprofessional and rude most definitely. cashier was also play fighting with a sibling while helping me out . then after the manager refunded me all the money on my card she told me to wait in line all over again? until she seen one of the employees that had a til open and recharged me all over again . honestly just a horrible experience. won't be coming back to this location .

Dollar General customer service

Dollar general is a very reputable store typically when it comes to customer service, but the lack thereof today, is why I am writing this complaint. Lots of chit chat between employees instead of greeting and or speaking to the customers. Overheard how they were short handed because of having to fire their previous employees for stealing, etc. I do believe that type of information should remain behind closed doors, and not for the general public to hear. Also, there is a thing called confidentiality, some things that don't need to be shared. Regardless of what previous employees did or didn't do, that's between them and the company. Very unprofessional, and could get some people in deep trouble for sharing personal info like that. There were a couple names mentioned as well, but that's neither here nor there as I can't recall them anyways. My advice for this store, keep the personal drama to themselves and pay attention to your customers! The ones that keep the store in business. I believe the district manager needs to come in and reevaluate whom he has at that location. Maybe it was just an off day, but then again, that type of personal info should not be shared at all, regardless of an off day or not. Also, instead of chatting, maybe one of them should have been redoing the shelves as a lot of stuff was out of place. Sorry to be so harsh, but dollar general is a great place to shop for myself and family, especially when in a hurry.

Dollar General employment

I started working at Dollar General on Saturday May 5, 2018. My first day i was put on register and i was there for almost 2 -3 weeks and I was told to do my CBL's and none of them were on money that i can remember. I never did any CBL's before being placed on the register. On Saturday May 21, 2018 I was suppose to be at work at 9am. I got there and worked and got off at 1pm. When it was time for me to clock out I clocked out when I was told to and then I left. I was off Sunday so I came into work on Monday and I clocked in as usual and then the manager asked to see me in the office. So I followed. I sat down in the office and the manager asked me if I had any clue why my drawer was short and i thought about it nothing out of the usual happened people payed with $100 bills and coupons but that was it. Nothing out of the ordinary happened and she said ok well your drawer was short $59.61. I was fired. I was really furious. She gave me a copy of termination paper and it was filled out and dated 2 days before she fired me. I had one verbal and my drawer was short $4 and some change. I have worked at fast food and my drawer was never that short. I will be getting a lawyer because I was never suppose to be on register without doing my money CBL's and I was on the register my first day! I did 3 or 4 CBL's my third week there in one day. I asked my manager after she fired me what CBL's I have completed so far and she saw my message but never responded and I was never rude or disrespectful towards them in any way or form. I will be getting a lawyer. I was never supposed to be on register. They literally put me on register when I clocked in. Never even after working fast food was my drawer that short. Something is wrong.Then she waited 2 days to fire me. I am a honest person. I was there to Make Money. I will be getting a lawyer. I will never work at Dollar General Again! I will be going to BBB AND MY LAWYER!

Dollar General management

I go to dollar general weekly.. Sometimes 2 and 3 times a week.. Twice now in the past month I have been in one of the stores and have heard a guy he was tall with gray hair and glasses at 2 different stores (racine, ohio and pomeroy, ohio) hollering and cussing on the sales floor at workers. I'm assuming he is upper management since he was at 2 different stores. This is very unprofessional and made me as a customer uncomfortable! I will not return to dollar general! They really need to monitor their upper management!

Dollar General rancid smell in fridge/extremely messy

There is an extremely rancid smell in the fridge where the milk is located. It smells like something died. The store has bugs crawling everywhere on the floor, there has been broken glass, it's always messy and dirty. I'm begging you to send a inspector! Please before someone gets extremely sick or hurt! It's a dangerous place! The owner is never in there. It's filthy.

Dollar General megan/nort troy vt dollar general

Well first of all this website is crap I had over a 1000 words written and now have to do it all over again! I made a purchase of Claritin for my child who is 4...I gave him 2 2 days in a row to try and help him and it didnt! I returned it! Told them it didnt work and I got something better I taped the box which u could clearly see! Apparently they got In trouble cause I went back the next day to have Megan treat me like a criminal and embarrass me for there mistake. She told me I said I didnt open the box which is a lie...u could check the audio on the Cameras I never said that...and proceeded to be completely rude...I told her what I said...it didnt work and we got something better...instead of trying to resolve the issue with me...and listening to me she was rude and told me I could never return to the store or pay for it again...she completely disregarded anything I said treated me like a criminal and embarrassed me for there mistake! She has awful custo.er service skills and I know all about it! I am a server and use my customer service skills daily! This isnt tho first ime I have been disrespected and treated poorly there but this by far was the absolute worse! U make a mistake u own up to it...you do not blame the customer and put lies in there mouth...I would rather drive 20 min to Wal-Mart than to go back there! Megan should be given a first class seminar on how to treat customers with respect because this is not only the first time she has been rude and disrespectful! There has been a few other occasions I have felt poorly treated. I deserve my money back for something that didnt work...and u need to teach your employees to own up to there mistakes and not blame customers.

Dollar General music and staff

I was in the store 10810 E 11th St, in Tulsa, Ok, at 3:45 PM today. There was some terribly unpleasant music playing over the store speakers (it was all grinding and SCREAMING sounds). I picked up the minimum amount of items I went in for, as I was not staying in that unpleasant environment any longer. I went to the front to pay and no one was around. After about a minute, a young man wearing a long, flowing, fancy black coat that laced up the back, swooped up to the register to ring up my purchase.This is the DG I usually go to, but I will not be back. Yuck!

Dollar General store appearance poor/ unstocked shelves/broken coolers

I have several DG in my area and frequent them for certain products weekly. This store has been one I've avoided and tonight I remembered why. As soon as you walk in there are boxes and dolly's everywhere with products thrown about. The shelves are bare and products that are out are thrown around and damaged. You can barely walk through the isles with all the items fallen to the floor. The milk cooler was taped shut with a sign that said broken, with spoiled products still inside. The staff joked when I asked about it, laughing that they are sure it smells bad in there. The two employees were arguing about who was going to leave to pick up the pizza they ordered. Such a mess, no care put in by staff or managers apparently.

Dollar General beach towels

I went into the Franklin, KY store and purchased beach towels. The sign above them said 50% off beach towels. The cashier refused to honor the discount because a Separate sale sticker was posted that showed the dates and that date had already passed. She also said as she rang them up, "These are on sale aren't they?" Should your employee not honor the coupon since they were still posted and she wasn't even aware they sale had ended?

Dollar General employees/ not knowing their own corporate policy

Every Dollar General says, they accept manufacturing coupons. I think there's even a banner saying it on the store front. my store, the employees won't take my coupon unless whatever I got matches the picture on the coupon. That's not how it works. Just because there's a picture of gain original scent, doesn't mean that's the scent I have to buy. It's annoying.

Dollar General dollar general on greenwood

Sending in as an informer who knows what's happening in the store:
A store manager/manager trainer Jennifer from coschocton's dollar general is at the Greenwood Ave, in Zanesville more than she is at her own store. She is training the new manager Amy Lynn Smith. Amy has already messed up the work schedule several of times, giving the key holders, and assistant manager less hours that they are required to have. And by doing so, she is hiring new young boys she went to high school with and has given them the original workers, their hours. She is hiring boys so she won't have to deal with truck. It is on camera of her sitting in the office and not doing any work. She has countlessly made the deposit and drawers off the money. And the key holders and assistant manager has to recount the money in the registers and the deposits in the safe to make everything right. She's not willing to take charge as a manager and has left all of the work on the original workers. She as a manager has already been rude with the current employees as well as the Pepsi vendor, Brian. He has made it a point that he will not deal with her. I would be careful and do a thorough background check with her previous jobs. Also, she is trying to hire a young man who has a gun felony charge on him and she knows the charges. As a customer, I was in the store while the coke vendor was there with a guy he was training to deliver the coke products. the manager Jennifer from coschoton's store, Has walked in and started yelling at the new coke vendor because he delivered too much product and there was nowhere to put it, although that was what was ordered. The new coke vendor said, "I don't know, this is my first day." So jennifer proceeded to go out side and yell at the other coke vendor. Which he replied, "I don't order it, I deliver it." (All on camera as well as in front of customers). This kind of deliverance is out of control. they are not fit to be managers and should be monitored closely. It's unacceptable to see this kind of behavior and lack of professionalism in any corporation. As a worker and a customer in the general public, I find this to be disrespectful and absolutely disgusting.

Dollar General employee was horrid

The manager Beth was as rude as she was unhygenic. Her breath smelled like she licked barn stalls. Her teeth look worse than a beaver's. She was too busy on her cell to be of any use. How does she have that job? She is incompetent. Could someone just please hire someone with more common sense and a little better attention span? And for god's sake, get Beth a toothbrush!

Dollar General store appearance

I have been shopping at different dollar generals over the years and have always enjoyed it. However, there is a local dollar General that I, and several people I know, avoid all the time. It is such a disorganized mess, stuff everywhere. There are always the big big carts with merchandise on them that never seems to get put on the shelves. I included pictures of this. I also included pictures of two different shelves that are such a mess and you can't find anything. I'm sure they would say it's a temporary thing for them to be messy but that's not true, they are always messy. I think there needs to be attention brought to this issue. Thank you!

Dollar General dg manger forrest city store #12085: nicole

On May 22, 2018, I entered the Forrest City Dollar General, store number 12085 were my mother and I was greeted by one of the employees. On numerous occasions, I have experienced a discomfort and unpleasant time due to the manager named Nicole. On this visit, she was disrespectful to an employee in front of customers.
The computer system seemed to have crashed due to the credit card machine and he asked her "could you check on your register." She stated that "She had worked on that computer all day and not had a problem." Her tone was aggressive. For the next couple minutes she continued doing what she was doing and did not open up the register until he stated that his side was frozen and he might have to reboot the whole system, he asked her if that is what he needed to do. She yelled at him saying, "I've done told you once what to do." At the point, everybody in the store can hear her.
To watch another person belittle someone else in front of other people is not acceptable. To witness this behavior almost made me have an anxiety attack and I was not even the victim. However, this is not the first time this has happened, it was the breaking point for me.
Every visit that she is up front, she is cursing the employees and even the customers. Not too long ago I witnessed an Elderly woman trying to use a coupon and Nicole yelling and being aggressive toward her saying "It's not going to work." At that point she had not even tried the coupon when the lady asked if she could just try for her, Nicole did, and when it did not work, she burst into laughter yelling at the elderly woman, "You are going to learn today to listen to me."
My heart breaks for the employees that have to go to work every day and go through that abuse. For the customers that have no choice but to shop there to be treated like they are less than human. The one thing I fear the most is that someone is going to get hurt. The way this woman behaves can cause violence to occur in a haste. For the safety of the employees, customers, and herself, something needs to be done to prevent events like this from happening.

Dollar General the way dollar general treats their employees

I live by the Dollar General on Hwy 21 in Paige Tex. I go in that store daily to find the same people working everyday and some of them are sick. How do you people not see that you overwork your employees to the point of exhaustion. I'm ashamed of your company it seems that all you care about is the almighty dollar and not a persons health or family life.
You don't give them enough help and when they ask for help they fall on deaf ears.
Shame on you dollar general corporate.

Dollar General candy is 1 month expired

I bought some Sour Patch Kids candy today and when I started eating I noticed they tasted different and not as sour as normal. I looked at the expiration date on them and they are 1 MONTH OLD! I dont think they ever go thru their items and get rid of expired foods. Disgusting.. I will no longer be purchasing anything at the store. I have always had bad customer service, terrible food items, and anyone who works there is completely rude. Ridiculous.
