Dollar General dollar store

The dollar general store in my area is a disaster. Everyone complains about it yet nothing is being done. When the truck comes it’s even worse. merchandise is always in the way where you can’t find what your looking for. Obvisouly the store is understafffed and something needs to be done about it. This store and majority of the stores in my area take no pride in their work except for the store in Slaughter is the best. Would you please do something about this ? I wouldn’t be surprised if something falls on a small child in this store. See attached photos. On the other hand the employees are very nice and helpful they just need some help in organizing and cleaning this mess up!

Dollar General unable to obtain copy of receipt from purchase needed to obtain refund from another source

I have a serious problem, and I need your assistance.

On 4/24/17, I used my debit card to purchase 2 Vanilla gift cards in order to buy a laptop online. The laptop did not meet my needs, and I returned it to Telikin at the end of July. At that time, I requested that they remit my refund to my PERSONAL credit card instead of Vanilla cards because I believed the cards to be non-refillable. Unfortunately, I discarded the gift cards when they had a zero balance and do not have a copy of the store receipt for them.

When I had not received my $800 refund from Telikin in what I considered to be a reasonable time, I called them, and was informed that they had, indeed, sent my $800 refund back to Vanilla.

When I talked to Vanilla, they had received my refund from Telikin, but were unable to send me a new gift card containing my $800 refund because I do not have the numbers of the cards I purchased. I gave them the last 4 digits, which was all the information I was able to get from Telikin, but they said that they cannot locate my info without the full 16 digit card numbers.

Vanilla informed me that they would send me a new card with the balance owed to me, but that I needed to provide them with the store receipt in order to do so.

I have been unable to obtain a copy of the receipt of 4/24/17 in the amount of $1034.32 because the store manager told me that they have no way to print duplicate receipts. I attempted to contact Wayne Faircloth, the area general manager, for assistance, but he did not return my phone call.

Please help me. I am on a fixed income, and need that $800 to pay my mortgage next month. I will greatly appreciate any assistance you can give me in this very serious matter.

This underscores the importance of keeping good records. You have a computer so the next step is to learn how to use Spreadsheets. Obtain a copy of Open Office and learn how to use Calc. You can then use a spreadsheet to track your credit cards and finances. This will also aid you at tax time as you'll have access to records.

GI I PERSONALLY BOUGHT A MY VANILLA CARD AT A DOLLAR GENERAL IN HOUSTON TEXAS THE VANILLA COMPANY IS ASKING FOR MY RECEPIT TO WHICH I HAVE NO MORE. IN ORDER FOR THEN TO ACTIVATE MY CARD. HELP PLEASE

Dollar General poor management

Was in Atchison, Kansas store today Must have gotten truck in yesterday. All aisles blocked with product couldn't get thru or even get to shelves. Employees standing around visiting with each other. No one was even attempting to put merchandise on shelf. Other times they are outside visiting and smoking sitting in front of store. Why don't you hire extra help on truck days an get product put up. A lot of elderly people shop at this store and someone is going to get hurt with aisle being blocked

Dollar General manager west side

I came in last night late and I was just walking in hearing someone from the background I couldn't see where but I looked up at the lady cashier as the manager says along the lines of okay listen here I don't care if your upset but I'm going to tell on you because thanks to you the work won't be done. I could tell the cashier was heated but knowing I walked in she said well the cigarettes are low and empty I have to stock them I'm almost done. I grab my things and I start to check out I say I'm sorry about that but just smile. She smiled and said thank you have a good night. So I don't know who this manager is all I know is that he's tall but that is no way to talk to associate. Horrible management and I have got to say if he's working when I'm in there again. I will walk straight out.

Dollar General cashier

I have had many bad experiences with a cashier at store 01841. I frequent this store often and when he is working my trip there is not pleasant. Tonight was the most awful of all. I know that the cashier is autistic and get confused very easily. Tonight he refused to give me back my 5.00 off 5.01 coupon when he did not know why it would not scan. Since I was not able to use the coupon I asked him to abort the transaction. I then asked him repeatedly to return my coupon and he states that I could not take it to another DG since he manually tried to enter the code in off the coupon. He tossed the coupon in the trash behind him. Because I was asking him to return my coupon since the transaction was aborted he told me to leave the store. I informed him that was what I was trying to do if he would give me my coupon back. He begin to close his eyes and started raising his voice demanding me to leave the store.

Dollar General digital coupon

I live in Omega, Ga and always shop at Dollar General instead of Family Dollar in Omega Ga. Tonight I went to get a product with my Digital Coupon which was a razor save $3 when I went to the register it did not discount the product so the associate/manager told me she can't do nothing about it, I have never seen her before and i shop there at least twice a day. I have had problems like this before and the other manger usually marks it down as long as i have proves but this manger did not. It's very upsetting to come into dollar general my favorite store and get told "I can't do nothing about it" if nothing is done me and my family will no longer shop at dollar general anymore and will make this public. Customers always come first and in this situation I did not. I am disappointed

Dollar General disrespectful

My Uncle received a disrespectful phone call from your store. There was a little old man that my uncle knows that was having car trouble and my uncle was a man short and they were swamped with customers he owns Rick's Mufflers and Auto Repair right up the road from store and was trying to get up there as fast as he could. He received a disrespectful phone call from one of your female employees that was very uncalled for. He was doing his best to get up there to get the little man and she talked to him with disrespect and rude and this should've never ever had happened period! Now my uncle deserves respect and also a very much deserved apology that I do expect! His name is Rick Parnell the store is on Fancy Gap Hwy Hillsville Virginia 24343

Dollar General dg coupons

I went to the dollar general in my area and purchased two renuzit air . Well i gave her my coupons and this coupon for this particular item did not come off. She did kept my coupon and said it was expired and i stated no it is not. These coupons just came out a week ago in sunday inserts. I have one left and the expiration date states 12/31/17. I am so tired of this and it seem like i always have trouble here with digital or paper coupons. I have started shopping at FD and have not had any problem using coupons. I feel like when i do complain to manager or anyone in that store it seems to make things worst.
I am so aggravated cause down here we are fishermen so money is tight but yet we get shot down when trying to use coupons

Dollar General service of employees and couponing

I shop at DG about 7 days a week sometimes a couple times a day just depending on if the digital were working on first trip and or whos working . most of your employees suck and r very rude when it comes to dealing with couponers and not understanding our frustration when your system doesn't work for our digitals. Very frustrating when you spend sometimes days planning a trip and to have to deal with your employees cause they quote not our problem it's corporate well that's alot of bull crap and I know I'm not the only one about ready to stop shopping there . I enjoy shopping there, just know that when a digital doesn't attach to item and you know it's clipped and the employees can even now see what coupons we have clipped, and still won't override it even for a few dollars . I understand then not doing alot but come on and then it's like a slap in the face to both of us cause we r both unhappy now cause I just tell them to vioid the whole thing and now I didn't get what I needed and now they have to go restock items. I can promise you I'm only one therea hundreds more and I have been writing complaint on every surevey for the last week and I'm thinking that's a joke you don't care of what we think . this is ridiculous . I think I have only ran across one cashier kender at 14061 very helpful and patient . she makes it so much more pleasant .

Dollar General store manager

Witness the store manager lashing out to a employee and had her crying, during the store hours. Happened a week or so, just been on my mind to report it. No one deserves to be put down. Asked other employees about the manager and mostly had nothing good to say about him . Allen needs to get some type of training, on how to effectively communicate with others.

Dollar General service

The store is located in Greenville, IL, 62246, I'm young and stupid, but also looking to be safe rather than sorry and not knowing, so I went to buy a pregnancy test, the cashiers were very rude by asking my age, saying mean comments like I hope to god you aren't, and what age they lost their virginity, and causing a scene in front of everyone. Bad experience, embarrassed me.

Dollar General manager

The manager at the dollar general store in lordsburg new mexico 88045 is a thief a number of times I have witnessed her taking merchandize out to the trash dumpster then when she gets off of work her and her husband go to the dumpster and take all the stuff she put there then if someone looks in the trash she threatens to call the police on them she also kept sodas that my special needs daughter bought and paid for you

Dollar General cashier

I went to dollar general store #12827 @12:24:27pm. I purchased m&m with coupons and asked cashier not to total till I asked her to since I was using coupons. She rang up half my stuff use my 3 off 15 and half my coupons then hit total. She then took rest of my coupons by that point my 3 off 15 was cancelled making me pay more than I should have.

On second transaction I did same thing only added shampoo and conditioner and had to pay more than I should have.

I added it all up and everything I bought should have been less than $2.

Dollar General the employees and management

Really disappointed with the service. I could post this on social media and stuff and put them on blast but I think this is a better and formal way to take care of this issue. On the door of Dollar General at Fillmore Ave. Genesee St. Buffalo, NY, it says the store close at 9 pm. But they always close the store early. I am a regular customer there and it's right by my house but not willing to go there anymore. This is my 3rd time in just this month I came in and the store be closed as early at 15 minutes early. I decided to record this today and hopefully you guys do something to fix all the mess they are doing. Thanks. ******I recorded the whole thing this time but it won't let me upload it here. ***

Dollar General cashier

I stood and stood at the check out, but no attendant. I finally noticed a small Bell that I Rang. The attendant must have been close by, as she walked up to the register and rolled her eyes at me and started a conversation with the people next in line. I felt as if she profiled me because of the color of my skin. I am hoping that dollar general is a respectable company that does not tolerate this behavior.
Then no receipt.

Dollar General the whole store service was horrible

I went to the dollar general on 5536 plattsprings rd. They had 2 full lines and all the cashiers was cursing and talking rude and the manager I have a picture of her holding a girls baby because she was so cute. Instead of helping the cashiers figure out what they did wrong.. they rang me and 2 others customers up wrong. My name is Haley Davis and my number is [protected].

Dollar General worst customer service from a manager

I just left this store and had the worst experience ever. The cashier (joann) was more professional than the manager(tonya). I saw two detergent under the same price but when l got to check out the price was different so l questioned it. I asked for the manager. She checked it out. During that time l walked to get something else and saw her moving the items over. I returned to the front and waited for the manager (Tonya) she said l dont see them together and gave me the price that l didnt see advertised. I was very concerned for that was not displayed. I told her thank you for such awesome customer service... she said u are welcome. I then said i was being sarcastic she said me too. Then the getto queen came out. I told her staff was more professional than her and some example you are displaying going back and forth with. Saying all this for one dollar and change. Its was not about the money but my interaction with the manager Tonya. I usually go to Dollar General on Legion rd in Hope Mills. They have awesome customer service. This was not good experience since this was my 1st time there. Even through the interaction with Tonya the manger her employee was very pleasant. I told the cashier Joann she should be the manager for she displayed the qualities of one. Afterwards I purchased my items and left the store. She was totally out of order for speaking to me in tge manner she spoke to me���

Dollar General employees stealing

I want to know why Dollar General is discriminating one employee different from another? I've spoken with David George and apparently he doesn't believe that Debra Beasley has been stealing. I sent him an email and sent him a photo of some stock that was accidentally delivered to Dollar General at 1950 Cave Mill rd in Bowling Green Kentucky . There were 4 rolltainers full of stock belonging to the Elkton Kentucky store in that store. Debra Beasley loaded it up in black trash bags and took it home. She wanted to get it out of the store before Todd Vasos came to see the store. Regina Siegel was witness to all of this and told me about it the day after we were no longer employed there. So maybe Jeri West would be more likely to look into this since no one else will . Thank you .

Dollar General public display outburst at store number 13556

I had come in store many times before, with my pet which is no more 4 inch's under a blanket.There had never been a problem.This time I came for just bottle.Instead of simply talking to me about it.I was yelled at, such a public display in front of a number people.Im to embarrassed to ever go in there again.Being a business owner myself and shopped there 3 or 4 time aweek, there wasn't a justifiably reason for such behavior.Sence I don't know the guys name, it's the only black guy works there.Im sorry to embarrassed to go in there again.
