Dollar General drug using scamming cashier

I like using the $5 off coupon, so I went right before closing saturday night. As soon as I walked in the cashier ask if I was paying in cash or using a card. I told her cash.
When I got to the check out, another lady approached me asking if she could use her dollar general card to pay for my items and then I could give her my cash. Not sure what to do so I went along with it.
Left there with a bad feeling. Got home and felt scammed. Got home pissed off because I forgot something and was headed back in the store before check out but this smoking-cigarettes-in-the-store chick approached me!
I should call the police!

Dollar General manager and other associate

I was in Dollar General this evening, and I was going to purchase three bottles of the $1 Gain laundry detergent. I have been known at this Dollar General to occasionally use coupons, however today I was not. I just needed laundry soap! The manager of Ingomar, MS 38652, Jane, copped an attitude with me saying, "If you're using a coupon on that, it better have the right amount of ounces!" I continued going because I was not using coupons! There was another lady, who was not wearing a name tag but her name is Sonda. And I have had a problem with her every time I have gone in there. Last time I was there, my husband walked by her and she was mumbling under her breath calling me a [censor]! These two ladies have been constantly rude with me and had attitude and I am a good loyal customer to this store. I don't appreciate getting chased out of the store because of disrespectful people. That is no way to treat a customer. Let me say this also, I did not buy my items. I left the store very upset and nearly in tears. I will no longer shop at this store.

On the upside, Matt and Garrett have always made my visits to Ingomar Dollar General very fun and enjoyable and they deserve the upmost respect.

Please take time to read my complaint. This is not the first time I have complained about being mistreated by these people and I will not tolerate it!

Dollar General refunds not right

i purchased item in Plain City Ohio., didnt fit right., took them to marysville ohio store for a return., well I paid $6.00 for a pair of sandels., but only got back $4.50 at the Marysville Ohio store.. manager said there wasnt anything she could do., I lost $1.50 plus taxs on that return., its not right., my name is Pat Miller., 427 robinscrest ln., check your system for the return., I am very upset over this matter., I hope you dont do this to anyone else and I will think twice before buying anything from your store again.,

Dollar General service

Went to Dollar general market 2411 Jefferson ave, Athens Ga 30607. Took one tide liquid to the register for price check to see which tide was on sale. There was no sales price up on the shelves. Took one tide simply up to the register for price check after standing on line for at least five minutes the cashier Beverly Pitmann attempt to tell me she's not going to do anymore price checks. There is no tide on sale. I told her its her job to check it and she was still refusing to do so.. The msbafer stood by and didn't say anything. She still continued to tell me what she was not going to do. Finally she check and it showed to be 1.95. What kind of people do you gave working for your organization. She was very rude and disrespectful. At that point I put all my merchandise back asked her for name and left the store. I was pissed off. I did nothing wrong but her rudeness caused me to spend my money somewhere else.

Dollar General customer service / manager kate / overpricing

I've been to this Dollar General Store and had been treated with respect and help. I was very unset today was treated so disrespectful by a manger Kate at Store # 03193. I was not honoured most of my MFGs neither of my 5off25. I feel so cheated and will make my returns tomorrow. I was really looking forward to the savings that everyone else got. I even spent a 2hrs in store shopping the deals.

Dollar General 4x $3.00 off next visit

i shop once a month at the dollar general on wyoming ave, kingston, p.a. i shop at this store because id rather give my business to a local store then the big box stores. once a month i could spend between 200 to 300 per month. i take advantage to try to save as much as i can being on a limited income. every month for the past 4 months, ive filled out your surveys online to receive my $3.00 off but have not yet recieved not 1 coupon. as i see it, i have taken the time everytime after i shop at your store to fill out the survey, to receive nothing in return. i dont feel this is fair to me, and as being a loyal customer such as myself i feel your company has not forfilled there obligation. i feel ive been fooled. i would appreciate if you could respond to me by email with a credit of $12.00 due me for taking my time out of my day for my compensation for filling out your surveys. i await your reply asap. my email is [protected]@yahoo.com, my name is Paulette Naples

Dollar General employee/manager

I am a regular customer of dollar general. The other day I stopped into a new store in my town, North Fort Myers, to give it a try. This was my 2nd visit to this store. The guy working there had horrible hygeine. I looked past it first time but 3 days later shopped there again. This particular store is on Pondella Rd, 33903. Turns out he is the manager there and his name is Harrison. Again he smelled HORRIBLE. I almost puked. He smelled like cat piss and nasty body odor, NOT the kind you get from no deodorant, but nasty dirty body odor. I don't see how anyone could work with him and the cute little girl that waited on me at register close to the front door obviously smelled him too because she was keeping her hand close to her nose and even gagged once. I'll NEVER go back in that store again!

Dollar General very rude manager

While visiting gulf shores, I went into dollar general store #14179. The manger of this store, Tammy, was very rude and unprofessional. I asked her for help locating a few items to which she replied "we ain't got that" and walked away. I proceeded to shop and found every thing I was shopping for. When I saw her again, I let her know that they do carry my items and her response was "I know what's in MY store" in a very condescending manner. How does DG employ such rude people.

Dollar General employee named jessica

We came into dollar general in Coleman and there was a new girl who had just started, day two. I asked if she knew how to blow up the balloons for my sons birthday party, she replied with she was knew but she would have the other employee help us. She had just walked out for a break... the line was getting pretty long and the new girl did fabulous but definitely could of used some help. We waited for about 30 minutes and we actually had to walk in the back to get the employee who had been called and asked for help to get her to help us. She was on her cell phone the whole time and was frankly rude when we asked if she could help us out so we could hurry to my sons birthday party. A little disappointed that the new girl was handling all the business while the seasoned employee sat on her phone... I've been in customer service and I have never filed a complaint or posted a bad review... but this made me upset. I even wanted to leave without balloons!

Dollar General disrespectful manager/ makes threats towards me/ treats me like dirt

The Dollar General store # 13858 located on 800 Danielsville Rd Athens, Ga 30601, is our neighborhood store, my husband and I shop here atleast once a day. Sometimes multiple times daily since we only live a half a mile away. Every employee in there knows us and they are very friendly and joke around with us everytime they see us come in. Except for this specific day, 8/13/17, I actually went in with my two oldest daughters, 8 and 6. We were looking at the clothes and I had a couple of outfits in my hand, as we were walking around the store I noticed an employee kept watching us as if we were doing anything wrong. I dropped some of the clothes and before I could pick them up, the next thing I know, this employee, the name DJ. Manager actually, walks up and says " You got to be fu***** kidding me. " I looked up confused, I even had to ask him was he talking to me because I couldmt believe it. He snatches the clothes out of my hand as hes walking away saying "you are seriously pissing me off." At this point my girls are scared to death, I said you cant treat me this way I havent done anything wrong. So with my daughters getting upset I decided to just leave so I grabbed a pack of reeses candy and set it on the counter to be checked out by another employee. Dj walks up and grabs the candy and says " No dont check her out" I asked him what did i do you have to check me out. He replies back " No I dont. You are dirtying up my store. " I was extremely upset and asked to speak to the manager he says I am the manager. I told him you cant treat me like this. He gets in my face and says to me " I can do whatever i want this is my store. Now get out before i knock your teeth out " I have never been disrespected so badly before in my life. In the middle of the store nobody did anything about it and my two daughters were shaking they were so scared. He had me crying i was so upset. This is my favorite place to shop but until something is done about this incident and this employee im not sure if ill ever shop here again.

Dollar General dm

The district manager of the anadarko Oklahoma store came in family dollar trying to get me to move to her new store here and was very unprofessional. She was bad mouthing my dm and a manager from our district and the company as a whole. I would never switch especially with her running the show . She held one of our stores for a bit and it looked bad when she left and I had to go help clean it up

Dollar General manager, kayla

I was in the store located at 1545 US1 in Ormond Beach, Florida this morning and the manager was extremely rude, not only to the customers but also to her fellow employee's. This made me and everyone else in the store very uncomfortable. I do not think you should have someone with such a poor attitude towards people working in a store that many customers like to go to. I for one will never step foot into that store again as long as she is working there.

I was in the store located at 1545 US1 in Ormond Beach, Florida this morning and the manager was extremely rude, not only to the customers but also to her fellow employee's. Dollar General store closes way before they are supposed to at 11 pm

Every night they are closing between 10.45pm and 10.55 pm for people like me who work second shift can't get there except between those times and I live in the pure country so the nearest store would be 45 min drive it's so agitating could you please talk to them because sometimes I don't eat or my animals because they are closed already and I live 2 minutes from the store so there's no excuse I'm not the only one who has noticed or complained thank you Laura Crosby my address is 2 Forest Ave, Butler, Ga, 31006 Dollar General is 40 S. I have had the same problem at our store in PA. Myself and another customer arrived at 9:55 pm and our store closing time is 10:00 pm. The door were already locked. The other man that was there tried to pull the doors open and knocked and yelled but no one came. I flew to get there before 10 because I had just remembered I was out of cat food. I leave for work before they open so my cats had to go hungry all day.

Dollar General our corporate lack of common sense and decency

In work at the dollar general in madisonville, Texas store 9517 I haven't been here long but we have the most hard working manager that I have ever come across he gives his heart and soul to this store and literally his blood, sweat and tears. In every since of the word and I come to work tonight and have to hear that he was escorted off the property today because of a person who has cost this company in my opinion thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in product and payroll and cash we all have seen her personally steal money from the store and left him to take the fall. That is not right and he get terminated over a soda and when I call him he only says to contact Dorothy Bentham or Robert Mitchell that until further notice he can't talk about it and hangs up on me. You are destroying this man's life and he is still following your policies. You have to wake up why is the only two people investigating this incident friends with each other and the pathetic excuse for an assistant manager open..

Dollar General rude employee

No one was at the register when we went to pay out, we waited for at least 5 mins or more. When she finally showed Up, she was on the phone and didn't get off while scanning items. Told me my amount, I slid my card and went to walk out and she made the remark that the payment wasn't done and that I was trying to walk out and steal the items I had. (She said about trying to walk out of her store with stolen item multiple times) So I told her maybe she should of told the person on the phone to hold on while she was dealing with customers. And could of helped more. And maybe made us feel more welcome. She said she was on the phone with the manager (Liz). I said, even more of a reason to get off the phone. She progressivly just got more rude. I asked her name, she didnt have a name tag on and thought it was funny that we didnt know her name and pulled at her shirt. It was about 9:40 pm at the 1698 Rachel road Stroudsburg pa 18360 dollar general.

Dollar General rudeness and empty shelves

The store in Brady, Tx. There is new management. He is nothing like the old manager. She was friendly and helpful. I attempted to talk to him about not having his shelves stocked. He walked away like he did not hear me. The checker was rude when I tried to tell her my problem. The store is filthy. I cannot wait for Dollar Tree to open. I will not shop at Dollar General again . Bring Rebecca back.

Dollar General sales person at store #14321

While in the White Lake for the fifth time this week, my young granddaughter knocked down a cardboard display of dial products. When I explained to the cashier what happened she made a face at me! Input my items down on the counter and fixed the display and put all the items back in place.
I was disappointed with the rudeness of the cashier and will hesitate to return to this store in the future.

Dollar General coupon favoritism

Hello my name is jacquelinee and I would like to make a complain on dollar general. The store number is 14787 the address is 505 e expressway 83
Sullivan city tx. I have been going to this store almost everyday and trying to use my coupons but the employees only take out products to certain customers and I don't find that fair they always tell me that the limit of the coupons is 4 and they let other customers use more than four and for most of the people we tend not to get a promotion on mostly anything. I have spoken to the manager but nothing has been done we all want to save money and it's not fair that one person comes and takes everything please take this into consideration thank you

Dollar General manager jessica

This manager plays favorites with her employees. I told her when I was hired on 3 weeks ago that I was going out of town at the end of this month for my wedding anniversary. She said that was fine and she put me on the schedule for two of those days anyways. When I contacted her to inform her she done that she said I never told her that with an attitude. I even wrote it on the office calendar to remind her. She gets onto me for little things meanwhile her assistant manager is closing the store and locking customers out and turning them away before closing time. She cut my hours in half for no good reason. I always gets compliments from customers for my smile and friendliness. She will be losing a good employee after today.

Dollar General coupons and district manager

I read the online coupon policy. It reads that any overages goes towards the remaining items in your cart . The associate refused to sell me the items, I contacted dollar general who had Bill ( district manager) call me. He was extremely rude, yelling me that no overages will be allowed in his district, and then rudely hung up on me. No wonder associates attitudes are horrible if he is a reflection on them.
