Dollar General cleanliness of store

I went to Anna Illinois dollar General store #01068 today & could not believe how disgusting it was. I regularly shop at this store because it is just down the street from my home & it usually is messy but today was horrible. The floors look like they haven't been swept or mopped in days. Two aisles had sticky substance on floor that had been there for days cause it was black. Most of the shelves looked like a tornado had hit them with products being all thrown together & some products placed in with wrong products, ie: food products with soap products. Also only one employee that I saw on duty & she was on register with quite a few customers in store! It was 13:40 when I was @ store today 10/13/17 & wished I had my phone with me so I could have taken pictures to send. I won't be going back to shop at Anna store after today, but will shop @ the Dollar General located in Jonesboro, Illinois even thou I have to travel further. Thank you for taking time to read this.

Dollar General overcharged

I had almost the same thing to happen as jim. I was overcharged by the cashier. Double charge on 2 items. When I got in my car I thought that was more than expected. I went through the receipt and saw where 2 of the most expensive items were on their twice. I went to the door and the manager locked it. She yelled through the door it was closing time I’d have to come back in the morning. I got the same treatment the next day. It’ll have to wait I have to do this and I have to check out customers. Then I’ll have to look at cameras. Heck I had even left the bags in my car with the receipt and the person who checked me out was working. After waiting and having the lazy other employees be rude to me I finally said just forget it. Said I want be back and the what I assume was the manager said good.

Dollar General I am complaining about the cashier devon

I went to store 12463 on my way home from work to buy a few birthday needs. I shop this store just about every day & very rarely do I spend under $20. Upon entering the store the cashier did not acknowledge me. My business I own I deal with the ATF & when my phone rings I have to answer. Upon my standing at the register I was ending my call & this cashier purposely yells loudly "hello" to a customer who walks in the door when mind you he didn't even acknowledge me even when making eye contact. This is every time I walk in there & not just with me he doesn't acknowledge others as well. When I check out he doesn't inform me of how much my change is I am to receive back he just hands me my change. I will from now on drive the 30 mins it takes to go to the WalMart to buy what I need. I refuse to shop where I will be disrespected. I could of been on a very important phone call.

Dollar General overcharge and coupons

I went to Dollar General on October 12, 2017. I purchased 4 bottles of Tone Body wash and had 2 coupons for 2.00 each on 2 bottles, in which the cashier only took off one coupon, I went back in the store to show them the error but all the manager on duty did was give me back my coupon, which defies the purpose because I wanted to use my coupon, so I had to pay the full price. She then got on the phone with the store manager, in which they kept me waiting for quite a few minutes, to reach the conclusion that they could not refund the 2 bottles for which they did not use my coupon because I wrote a check. I then suggested to just give me the 2.00 in cash in exchange i would give them the coupon and call it even but i was denied that also, and I upon returning home, I reviewed my receipt and i was charged for an extra bottle of body wash that i did not purchase. This was not customer satisfaction and was handled very poorly and unprofessional.

Dollar General the ceiling in this store

The ceiling in this store is falling through the past two weeks I’ve been in here it’s bewn the same way or has gotten worse it’s full of some liquid substance and is dripping something clearing brown they have containers under the leak to catch it and two giant clear traps over the clothes where it is dripping and it smells as well as the color is horrible it’s bewn this way for weeks/months now.

Dollar General overall store is a mess and rude employees

My 1st time shopping and my last. Almost every aisle has one of the big things with product on it and the end caps has them to. You not not see what is on the selves or even shop. I got food that was out of date looks like they are not rotating. I seen the manager on her cell phone the hole time and I asked her where something was and she acted like I took away from her cell phone time. Stephanie was just so rude and the cashier was no better when I got to the register. Some action needs to be taken on this store before someone gets hurts with all the mess they have and to the rude employees.

Dollar General stocking of shelves and how unorganized it is.

I'm not the only one who complains that there is ALOT of empty shelves. There's always boxes to be put away in the aisles to squeeze by. I've had to go outside to get the cashier who's out smoking with the manager. It's a fairly new store in a good neighborhood. I'm sure you have noticed sales have fallen. Maybe you should unexpectedly drp in, just saying. I worked for Hallmark Cds for 30 yrs I don't see enough disipline. Management is terrible, maybe before you hire you should give a short management course. Thank you

Dollar General the store in general

October 11th, 2017 at 11:40 A.M. I went to the Dollar General in Carmichaels PA to purchase shoes for one of our special needs students at our school district. The store was so cluttered you could not walk through the isles and when I asked the store employee where I could find children's shoes that all I seen was men and women's she said I would need to go through all the boxes they were thrown together. The shoes that I could reach I went through however the majority of shoes were on the top shelf. I left and went to Rices Landing PA store which was neat and put together nothing in the isles and very helpful. I live a block from the Carmichaels store and will drive the extra 6 miles to go to Rices Landing because of the mess that the Carmichaels store is always in.

Dollar General working off the clock!

This is a complain about the dollar general in Brooks ga on newnan rd ! I happen to know all the people that work there and this store recently changed store management! This new manager is making employees clock out and then count down their tilts without pay ? Really this is a lawsuit waiting to happen how can this store manager do this ? Shame on her for not properly taking care of her employees? Labor board where are you this needs to be addressed

Dollar General I am complaining about store #07156

I was in this store tonight, the manager was yelling at an elderly man, his wife purchased 2 prepaid phone cards today, one was the wrong one. these cards cost his wife $45.00. He understood that there were no returns, but the boy behind the counter helped her to pick out these cards. He should have told her that she could not return them.

that is not the point the point is that the manager was yelling at him in front of all the customers, one of the cashiers was waiting on me and kept saying that he hates people. I have been going to dollar generals every since they came to this area, Greene county pa. I love them, but I will never shop at this one again, for the reason above and that the store always looks like a store has hit this place, you cannot never find anything. my name is Lori Kozikowski, my phone number [protected].

Dollar General door stop used at east prairie store

The dollar store in east Prairie has a giant rock that they use to prop the door open. The rock was left in the middle of the walk way and I fell over it. I brought to the girls attention and she just left it there and walked off. I am not a spring chicken and if it had been and older person or a child they could have broken something. This is unacceptable.

Dollar General employee of dollar general

I went to Dollar General store number 09200 this evening around 7:30pm, and I had my phone looking at digital coupons and also trying to use a app I purchased to price check items well I had noticed this employee watching me I just blew it off well I walk to the clearance summer items and try to scan another item which didn't work but anyway he was right there watching me again and I look up and he says what are you doing on there I said trying to price check items and digital coupons he just walked away and kept watching me I am writing this because a employee of Dollar general should not be following me because I'm on my phone nor should he be allowed to even ask me what I'm doing on my phone I was there with my 2 kids and my husband and I just felt like there was no reason for this and I will not be going back to this store and the employees name was Gerad my husband asked what his problem was and he said he wanted to know what I was doing he thought it was cool I'm sorry but he was seriously so rude to me and I really hope something will be done... Being on my phone is no reason to be followed like a criminal... Or be asked what I'm doing on my phone is not his business

Dollar General store manager at st mary st thibodaux70301

Let me start by saying I love this place, but sadly I'm here to complain about the new manager on st Mary, she is RUDE to the customers, Rude to her employees, I've heard her talking bad about her workers to someone, saying she can't wait to get ride of the employees from the outher her manager, this is NOT RIGHT they have some very nice and very respectful people there and I would hate to see anyone loss there jops just because somone else haired them this is NOT RIGHT, someone needs to do something about this,

Dollar General injury report

I am a twenty-five year-old female from Carterville, GA, and today (8 Oct. 2017), I went into the store in Adairsville, GA on highway 41 for the first time, sometime around 6:00 p.m., and there was only one employee on duty (though I did not catch her name). It had been pouring down rain all day and the smooth cement floors were extremely slick; there was a floor mat right inside the door, but the floors were completely covered with water causing me to slip and fall, busting my kneecap which is now swollen, stiff, and bruised. When this happened, we told the cashier that I had fallen and that they should do something about the wet floors. Well, at the time that this was happening, an unaccompaied dog had run into the store and she completely ignored us to chase the dog around and out of the store. Once she had gotten the dog out, she continued to ignore us while my mother continued to complain to her, and without even sparing a glance in our direction as she placed a "Caution Wet Floor" sign in the doorway, she said, "I'm sorry, but there is nothing that we can do about it." Appalled at her response, we asked about filling out an accident report; she claimed that she was not authorized to fill out an accident report herself and said that this was a job that the manager had to do...who was off-duty. She did not act the least bit concerned for my safety and showed more concern about a dog rather than her injured customer. Not once did she even look in my direction (literally) or ask if I was okay. She was very unprofessional and extremely rude.

Dollar General nasty store and cluttered and not enough space and helpt

Yes I am a citizen of morton, ms and the dollar general store we have in morton ms is so filthy and nasty. The floors are so dirty and nasty they look like they haveb't beeb swept mopped buffed since the store been open in this location. Trash on the floor as soon as you enter the door and the counter is right there to the left when you enter the doo. The workers are majority outside smoking and only one cashier working sometimes when they ahve a store full of people and in line to check out. pittiful. they need to send a manager to come and d oa surprise inspection and visit. i don't see how the area manager hasn't said anything or done anything about he must like the filt. I don't see how they are open with the filthiness of the store. i go to othere dollar general stores and it smells good the floor is clean shelves are organized the aisel are clear and free of material to stock and you can actually get down the aisel and move thru the store freely. it's just a mess to me as we as customers are always complaining but nothing is never done. i think you guys really need to see about this in a very timely manner speedily. thank you for your time

Dollar General rude and trashy

The dollar General in Vidalia Ga is getting run down bad. They never have their stuff on the shelves it's always piled in the aisles in boxes. They never seem to unpack them. I went last night and the lady working met me at the door and said, we're closing in 3 mins. I told her by my phone it's 7 mins, she said well by our system you got 3 mins. I told her I still made it before closing. I hate Wal-Mart so I try to avoid it as much as possible. I also love the app dollar store has. I went to Wal-Mart today because of the way, really both dollar stores are here. I probably won't be going back unless something changes with them. This probably won't make a difference but I figured I'd try.

Dollar General employees at hoxie ks store

This store is ridiculous, there is a employee who brings her young child to work with her and he runs around the store getting into things then they have him sweeping the floors and helping clean which I know is against the labor laws. The Manager talks badly about her employees to customers. I have heard this myself. But what finally got me was she had a employee in the store the other day the employee was explaining of when she could work because of day care issues and the manager said to her "maybe you need to find a real babysitter" I could see that this employee was upset. For a manager to talk to their employees like that and to talk about them to other people that's just awful. This store has been awful the last 3 months. I hope something changes. I usually just drive the extra miles and go to Colby. Its not worth the headache hearing all the drama.

Upon walking inside an employee by the name of (LINDA) mumbled something and frowned at me and my children and I said aloud if u don't like your job I shouldn't be here. I've never had an altercation with this employee at anytime .. But I have noticed on several occasions of coming there this lady follows people around and when asking for assistance from her she has an attitude and very unhelpful. She makes me and my children uncomfortable. Today I asked her for her manager, she told me she was the manager. She told me she was not going to service me and called the police on me. I come in that store every day and spend money . Other customers have stated she does the same exact thing to them. Now I'm not allowed in the storebecause she called the police. I was not treated fairly. I asked her in fromt of the officer for her manager name and she failed to give me any information. This is very unfair. If nothing is done I will be contacting my family lawyer monday morning and proceeding action.

An employee by the name Of LINDA
works at the 2890 gave me a hard time today. Every time me or my children come inside this store she's rude and very unhelpful. I've had to return meat 3 times . I provided a receipt, normal wrap and bag with item and she becomes irrational.
Today I walk inside and immediately upon seeing me she mumbles something and starts walking the floor. I walked inside this store with a nightgown on holding my infant baby. I said aloud I are always angry if that's the case I should stay home. She calls the police on me. I asked her for her manager and she hesitate and says she is the manager. (Which was a lie)
I come to this store very often and now I'm not allowed back in because she told me she won't service me. I was treated very unfair. And in front of the officer I asked the employee For her manager name several times. And she failed to give me that info. Other customers that were inside stated that this lady does that to alot of people.

Dollar General sad little store of yours

If you really have some pride in your company...make a pop up visit to my local dollar store in Jefferson City, MO on Apache Flats. Disgusting and horrible! Merchandize all over the ground toys, beauty products, soda, and EXPIRED FOOD! Who is in charge? Your employees sitting on their butts doing nothing to organize or clean your store. Show some pride in where you work! No you want to sit at the check out doing nothing. When you first walk in, the first 3 rows are sometime picked up but go back further and its worse. For a lot of locals that is the only store closest to them. I will not be back I will drive 10 minutes the other direction to the Family Dollar where it is clean, organized, you can find the prices, and friendly service. Not a bunch of bums you all are paying hourly to sit there! Thought you should know what my community thinks of your store!

I've been there twice this week and will never go back first of all the lady who is working on there has a horrible attitude I' 'm guessing she's some kind of manager she talks to her employeeemployee a like crap in front of everyone I have witnessed this both times I've beenb in there then tonight o tried to buy a gallon of milk with my debit card and they wouldn't sell it to mewithout my id seriously? What kind of [censor]ing store is this it's ridiculous they expected me to take my one year old son back out into the rain and cold walk to my car and come back with my id to buy a [censor]ing gallon of milk I don't think so by far the worst experiences I've had a dollar general and I'm I'm frequent shopper I'll be going to wal martt instead from now on
