Dollar General service / dg coupons

I do all my shopping on Saturdays and decided to try a different Dollar General(Elkland, Pa) than my usual (Painted post, Ny) while I was visiting a friend in a different state and because my usual Dollar General seems to be understaffed with boxes all over (Every Saturday) and only one employee including the employee running the register. My friend and I go within 15 mins of closing time to use my 2 Dollar General coupons $5 off $5.01 amd for whatever reason they would not scan even though the expiration date was 7/28/2018. Cashier claimed because it was expired that day so therefore could not accept it and over ride it. I tried explaining to her that they were not expired till midnight but she was clearly sticking to her guns and told me to take it up with management. Manager was not there and obviously going ro expire by time I got to a manager and unfortunately not able to make it to my usual Dollar General before closing. I left with nothing and they lost about $30 sale after coupons applied (2 different transaction would have taking place). ONE UNHAPPY CUSTOMER HERE!

Dollar General management

Assistant Manager, Karen Mcentire, has been talking about employees behind their backs to other employees. She believes she is the store manager and acts as so. She tries to write people up over frivalous things. She has personally got me to do her scanning work because "she was behind." No where in my job description does it say that I scan under someone else's numbers.

Dollar General customer service

Had a readable and clear coupon and cashier felt the need to tell me it couldnt be used due to it not scanning. Bought same product that had coupon on box and instead of scanning it she advised coupons couldnt only be used once. Unaware I'm not stupid and knowing a coupon gets entered in the drawer and counted as money when the drawer is closed for the night I advised the coupons are the same and coupons on box could be used and left on box for next purchase, miss wanna be priss advised it wouldnt scan next time. Needless to say I told her I didnt want it at all and took my original coupon back. Coupons can be scanned as many times as someone will allow. Maybe DG on Oakland ave in Bloomington needs to check education backgrounds bc my Masters degree in business wasnt needed for the common sense reasoning of how to use a coupon.

Dollar General price was wrong

I was at store 1606! The cashier was Ms. Gwen! I entered my dg coupons and I have a coupon on it saying always buy two save $7 without the coupon 2 for 8 so it should been $1.08 with tax not $2.16! I show her the coupon and she did that! She made me pay $1 per box and that was not right! She did not tell me thank you after I pay and about to walk away from her! That's disrespectful to me and other people in the store! Plus, you can see where she try to fix the problem!

Dollar General customer service

A worker by the name of Passion Guilbeaux called me a cracker [censored] . I've called the store a young man by the name of donjana keeps telling me no manager is available. This is totally unacceptable racism is a terrible thing. I shop at the Midland location in St Louis Mo, She got upset because I had 5 dollars worth of change she rolled her eyes . i said excuse me ma'am is there a problem she repeatedly showed aggressive behavior towards me . This pains me because I would never use such words towards another human being

Dollar General customer service with assistant manager

I walked into store and went to pruchase icecream and nails. As i was shopping and the music was blaring and i hears a load voice over the store., "IF YOU BREAK IT YOU BOUGHT IT.!" The voice was load and directed to my 8 and 9 year old. I followed the assistant manager and askes her what she said and if it was directed at me and my childrwn. I asked her why she screamed at my children instead of speaking to me in a polite manner. I would be more than willing to handle anything that had to do with my children. The way this woman spoke to me was incredibly disrespectful and i not only told her that but also told her that from the day I started shopping at the store she has been nothing but rude disrespectful and has made racial slurs towards myself under her breath about me and about my children. At first I hade let these statements go and then I made a formal complaint to the general manager and I called human resources at the Dollar General corporate office. I have not heard anything else about any action taken place but at this point I will take this all the way to the Better Business Bureau and the division of Consumer Affairs because I spend thousands of dollars a year at this store along with my children and my fiance and I do not appreciate being verbally assaulted by someone who should be the assistant manager and treat customers with the utmost respect. I have also seen this employee treat disabled employees with impatience and intolerance on several occasions do to their inability to cognitively handle simple situations. As a manager she should redirect these employees 2 handle the situation in the most proper way possible. As myself I have worked in customer service for 18 plus years and have never had any complaints about the way I speak to customers, any racial comments, the way I speak to my employees, or the way I handle anything in my store along with my customers. This has gotten out of control with this employee and I will no longer stand for it. Even the general manager, I know her first name is Jennifer, finds her to be incredibly disrespectful and unhelpful. I hope you can contact me and we can together find some solution but you must know that I will be taking this to the Better Business Bureau.from the day I started shopping at the store she has been nothing but rude disrespectful and has made racial slur towards myself under her breath and about my children at first I have let these statements go and then I made formal complaint to the general manager and I called human resources at the dollar general corporate office I have not heard anything else about any action taken place but at this point I will take this all the way to the Better Business Bureau and the division of Consumer Affairs because I do not think a person like this should work in customer service at all. Dollar General customer service

I came in the store for one item, the works toilet bowl cleaner. It was on Friday July 27th around 12-1 pm. There was only one one the shelf and it was half leaked it. I realized that after I picked it up and got on me. I asked the only employee I saw, the cashier, if there was more in the back She said if there was she would not go get it for me . The cashier was black and she was clearly racist. Needless to say I wont be shopping here again.

If that employee was the only one working and had customers in line to be checked out, it was likely that she couldn't, not wouldn't check for you at that moment. Race wouldn't have had anything to do with it.

Dollar General way i'm treated as an employee

I been working at dollar general for a long time taking extra hours always coming in, but when your breathing and your hours are being taking away for that. Its when its gone to far with these managers. Their demands are becoming unrealistic. Many of my fellow employees are quiting. I have a family to raise and im down to four hours a week. This needs damage control soon or their will be no employees left. My wife came in as a customer and was made to wait two hours to be checked out while everyone else was put ahead of her.

Dollar General entire dollar general store #1335 714 east ave. erie, pa

On 7/25/2018 I visited this store #1335 and ended up leaving for the 3rd time in pure disgust. Not only did I leave like that, I refuse to spend my money at that store. It looks like it has been ransacked. Open, stolen items, at least 5 in every isle I went down. Or should I say, could go down. Shelves had every item on them but the items that should be there, if not covering the entire store floor. Store ladders leaning on endcaps, falling down, kids climbing on. Pegs in piles laying everywhere in bunches.
Cause customers cant get hurt by those at all. Employees standing around talking. Could hear there loud conversations, hiding in the backroom. Cashier was rude after waiting for her to stop having a non work related conversation with another employee who was 20 feet away leaning on carts. This is everytime I visited this store over last year. Extremely worse last 4 months. I even stopped going there as often due to these issues. I have actually put back my items and walked out numerous times from disgust. As a company you should be embarrassed and ashamed to have your name on that store. I am now going to take my business elsewhere. If rather go miles out of my way to a decent store with employees who act like employees, customer service skills. For the record, this is the first time I have ever in my life wrote a complaint about anything or anyone. I also work at a retail store. That should tell you something.

Dollar General customer service

I visit your store everyday, and everyday I have to wait in long lines, only 1 cashier and 10 people waiting in line. Other cashiers see it but don't come and help out. Also this morning the gentleman working named Jim was very rude, I shop there everyday and spend a lot of money, will never go again when this guy is working. If this is not the write way to send a complaint please forward to the necessary department.

Dollar General store number 12089 mcdaniels ky 40152

i am a frequent shopper here, this store has been a blessing to our small community, but it has its faults. we are a lake community that supports many campgrounds in the local area. being said, the store seems way understaffed, many times ive visited, no matter what time of day or which day, only one person is working there, i dont mean on lunch or break but only one person there period. its a lake community that means each shopper probably has 5 persons with them, the store is a mess, the girls do what they can but in the end its just too much considering the volume of customers, purchasing and not, my biggest concern is the store manager, she is smart and helpful but she smells horrible, ive been in line and actually seen customers leave their carts because of the smell. i myself work in retail and understand that body odor is a daily issue, but for a managerial position i think that it should be more professional. i love my dogs but my customers dont smell them. marcia does a good job but needs a tutor in cleanliness. ive spoken with many of the vendors at the store and they all have the same opinion, im sorry if it causes a ruckus but i think it should be adressed

Dollar General lack of delivery

Dear Sir and Madam:
My name is Tony Bobet. I am filing an complaint to Dollar General online. I order item on July 19, 2018. And, I supposed to received on July 24, 2018. The item is D-G Office All-Purpose labels 128 ct. I pay for $6.52. The UPS.com suppose to deliver the package on July 24, 2018. They want me to pick up the package. I file an complaint to Dollar General.com. They locate at 100 Mission Ridge, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. Telephone, [protected]. i try to contract them and stop picking my phone. I want an full refund. I just received the item open. My brother open the package with my permission.

Dollar General managers

At the store in Elkhorn City, Ky 41522 one of the employees stands around talking and flirting while she's at work. She has been seen by the customers kissing and letting her men friends rub on her. This has been going on for a while and the manager knows about it. The manager sits outside with this employee and whatever man she's wallowing on that day.

Dollar General simply attempting to be a customer.

At approx. 8pm on 7/23/2018...I entered the Dollar General store located at 3808 7th Street Rd. Louisville KY.40216
I litterally walked straight in and forward down the aisle ahead. The cashier at registered had greeted me with 'Hello', upon me walking thru the doors. I walked to the end of the aisle, looked both ways to figure out what direction to go for cleaning supplies...I had not even gone up the second aisle nearly half way, when approached by the store security (a dark skin girl with long braids) she asked, "how you doing today", I replied, "fine". She then says, "let me see what you have there in your bag" I said, "excuse me". She then said, she just saw me put something in my bag. I told her, "No she did not, I just walked in this store" She then said, "Oh really, okay then" and she walked towards the back of store. I then proceeded down the aisle to the front doors and I said to the cashier, who had greeted me, "Did I not just walk thru this door?" She replied, " A few minutes ago, yes." I said, "Less than a minute ago"and I proceeded out the door. I was insulted, disgusted and embarrassed by the whole situation. I had not even touched an item in the store. I never got in my purse for anything. I had my right hand on purse strap when entering the store and a $10 bill in my left hand. Your security needs to have proof to provide before acusing someone who had just entered the store of a crime. Please review your tapes from this date and time and take necessary action. I can assure you, that you have lost more than one customer over this as none of my friends or family will ever again shop here.

Dollar General cigarettes

I went to Dollar general in pine Louisiana and got 4 packs of cigarettes. I asked the cashier if all the things I bought was in one bag she said yes but when I got home my cigarettes were not in the bag I searched my vehicle to make sure they didn't fall out and didn't see them so I went back to the store and I was told they were given to me and I explained to the manager what happened she said she looked at the camera and seen where the cashier put them on a bag and I grabbed all my bags. I told her all I had was one and my cigarettes were not in there. I was told that they were put in a bag and I grabbed it. So I went recheck my vehicle and still no cigarettes. I recheck the bag and no cigarettes. The cashier name was Wendy.

Dollar General they didn’t have a key to open the propane storage

Why wouldn't she have a key to open the gate-!? It is ridiculous. I always go there and had never ever had a problem like that. She said the magnet takes the keys when they leave. Do the managers not know people want to exchange their tanks ? She didn't even give me a bag for my groceries she was completely rude ! Dollar general store #[protected] fm 969 Austin tx 78724

Dollar General fort gibson ok store

This store is FILTHY. The parking lot has SOOO much trash and cigarettes all over it. The floors inside NEVER gets mopped and the building doesn't have a real AC unit. Their is always sooo many boxes on the floor where u can't even get around the store. The city people is in disgust with this store and something needs to be done. The people that work there are always outside smoking and talking to other people also

Dollar General service

Ive went to the dollar General on 856 broad st Brooksville fl for years. And a little while back i went into the store with my daughter and the manager ask to speak with me. I dudnt think anything of it when she asked because we have always spoke. She takes me to the side and tells me that one of the girls that work there had seen me take something. I was surprised as im looking at her and thinking one i didnt not take anything what so ever and second of all i was trying to remember when i had been in there last. I was tooking back by what she was saying. I didnt fight or fus with her i just stated. Im not going to fight over this but i didnt not take anything from here and got my daughter and left. I could get this out of my head this was a Wednesday the day she said i was suppose to be in there doing whatever was the sunday morning before. Well i had not even been in that store sence early Saturday afternoon wasnt in the store more then 10 minutes half that was in line. And had not veen in there since the day she asked me to leave. The next day my brother goes to the dollar General and the manager had told the staff that they could not go in the store either and it was because i was suppose to have took something. And was told to them that no one not myself my kids or father or brother could come in the store. How for one are you going to say i took from there but she did not see it herself. At any time which i went in there daily tell me i have to leave then no one in my family can come there either? Now i have a problem wuth the lies being said about me but more of a problem when its taken out on my family to and i didnt even do what is being said. And every staff member we have spoke to is just as confused as we are. I think there is a bigger problem going on and i am the one getting it took out on so someone please explain to me how this [censored] works.

Dollar General condition of store

The store in Kalkaska, Michigan is the dirtiest store I have ever visited. The floors look as though they have never been cleaned. The shelves are disorganized and the aisles are always blocked somewhere with boxes, etc. The employees seem to be oblivious to any of it. I have shopped Dollar General stores in several states but never encountered one in such a poor condition.
