Dollar General online coupons

I shop Dollar General locally very often. I also have the app that allows me to use mobile coupons. This is the second time this month I have been to the exact same store and I was told that either I couldn't use the mobile coupons or that they didn't have any control over the mobile app as far as getting my discount. Today when I went I was supposed to have a mobile coupon that took off a certain dollar amount of my total purchase which was over the qualified amount and that was not taken off of my bill. I am just wondering why I'm wasting my time using the app and price matching if I'm not going to be allowed or the store isn't going to have any control over taking those funds off at checkout.

Dollar General digital coupons & condition of the store

on 9.23.2017 I went to the store #01726 at 17:15:34 in Vernon, Texas. I couldn't use my digital coupons because the server was down. I would like a refund of my coupons if at all possible.
The store condition is awful, nothing is stocked and you can't move freely around the isles.
the clerk was very nice and asked if I wanted her to take off the items I had coupons for since I couldn't use them, I said no since there was a line behind me and I didn't want to inconvenience the other customers waiting to check out. I should have just said clear it all and not bought anything at all there. I won't be going back to that store.
Here are the numbers from my receipt I hope to get a refund check for what I am owed.

Dollar General employees

Profiling is so wrong!
On monday the 18th day of september my significant other shopped at your store in hatley, ms everyday at lunch because he is a construction worker and they are building a house about a block from your dgstore. Clayton lewis moreland is his name. He went in this day and got his usual items went to the register and put them on the register counter when he realized he had left his wallet in his truck, he explained to the cashier that he needed to go to his truck and get his wallet. The cashier scanned all his items and he paid for every singe item. Clay got his bag went to his truck and started back to work when he pulled onto the road a police car with his lights on pulled him over. The policeman explained that he stopped him because he was being accused of stealing just because he forgot his wallet. The policeman searched clay and his truck and found absolutely nothing. Clays reciept showed every item he had was paid for. Clay is in construction and his work clothes may be dirty from work and he may be dirty from work too. But these employees are very judgemental towards some people. Clay ended up being late getting back to work after lunch and the embarrassment of being stopped by a policeman and his truck being searched on the side of the road in a town that he works in and in front of the house that they were and still are building. Clays'coworkers and his boss seen the entire thing. Can you imagine how embarrassing that had to be. Your store in hatley lost about 13 customers that day. It was monday the 18th day of september, around 11:00 am. I'm writing you because we love to shop at dg but with employees that are profiling customers just because of the way they look or in this case forgot his wallet we really had rather drive about 5 more miles to walmart. I hope you can correct this problem as soon as possible because clay isn't the only one they have wrongfully accused. This is a small, very small town and word gets around very fast. I would appreciate it if you would reply to my email because I want to know you are taking care of this matter before you lose even more customers... Sincerey lisa d webb

Dollar General manager or assistant manager; don't know her title... rude, uncalled for, unapologetic behavior

I have lived in overton, tx for 7 years and shopped at dollar general store the whole time. I have never had any problems until about two weeks ago. I was in store looking around and I noticed employee was near me or passing by me very frequently. Was on candy isle getting last item getting ready to go check out, she stops at end of isle an loudly says; you can take that pen out of your purse now!; my purse on my shoulder, I look up, she's talking to me, so I lift my hand up with pen and another item in it and show her it was in my hand. I didn't day a word to her an she says, well don't be sticking stuff in your purse and walks off. No I'm sorry or nothing. I could have said something but I didn't. I am NOT! a their, but because of the way I look I guess she assumed. I am not happy. Now every time I go in there and she's there she (inconspicuously) follows me. Her name is Fran that's all I know. She's rude always looks mad and is not friendly with anyone. Please take care of this matter so I don't have to and get myself in trouble for something I didn't even do. I would like a response to my complaint too. Thank you.

Dollar General the whole store

The store in manchester, ga needs a serious cleaning! You can not walk down 90% of the isles in there bc they have boxes blocking it, everywhere you look. I had my 15 month old baby with me, he was in his carseat. I had to literally hold his legs up when i was trying to get thru so that he didn't hurt himself. I will never shop there again! I've never in my life seen a store so overcrowded and unorganized. It doesn't matter what day of the week you go in there, it is always like that. They need new management and/or better employees. Something needs to be done about it!

Dollar General employee

I was I'm the Reeves, Louisiana store and witnessed the Manager Ms. Melissa verbally attack a customer, and I believe it was very unprofessional.
I don't believe customers should have to watch the manager be belligerent in a family business. There could have been children there. Don't know if I will be shopping there again. I have also asked friends, neighbors, and family not to shop there until action is taken.

Dollar General coupons

I have been told my coupons could not be used but the lady 2 people in front of me was allowed to use the same coupon. Is this discrimination or what? I believe if your not going to except a coupon then it should be for everyone not just me.. I spend probably a 1000.00 a month at this peticular dollar general. And if I have to I will get an attorney to resolve this issue her name is Jen I am assuming is the manager.

Dollar General getting a product

Complaint is for 1906 East Oglethorpe Albany, GA 31705 location

My husband had to ask twice for Tide pods they have locked up in their store. They claimed they lost the key. The workers never once tried to open where they have the product locked up at. My husband asked them if they can try to break it open, and they told him no. In my opinion that is a good way to lose customers.

Dollar General outside of building

The sidewalks to this store are terrible and extremely dangerous, someone is going to get HURT! These sidewalks have been bad for a few years now and they are just getting worse every year and no one has done anything about them. I love going to this store but it is dangerous for my little kids to walk outside the store with me without me holding them because everywhere you walk the sidewalks are a tripping hazard.

Dollar General can't walk down aisles

I went to dollar general in solsberry Indiana today and you can't walk down the aisles because they have carts full of boxes in the aisles . Shelves are bare too. Waited at register forever for a cashier because the was standing in the back talking and in break room talking there was no employees watching the store. This store is terrible and I keep hoping when I go back it's better but it's always worse it looks like a warehouse instead of a store. Management must nothe know what he's doing because I've not seen any improvement since it's opened.

Dollar General personnel

I visit the dollar general in Hickman, KY on a very regular basis, seeing how our town doesn't have much else to offer in the way of stores. Most every employee is professional and courteous, save for one. The lady's name is Passion, and I have seen her talk down to customers and vendors quite a few times. It has certainly had an impact on my shopping experience, to where I find myself shopping at EW James and the Little General. It's truly a shame, because everybody else there excels at providing exceptional customer service.

Dollar General rancid milk cooler never cleaned. bacteria contaminated bottles! potential for sickness or death!

To Whom It May Concern: And I Pray that means all Corp officers! A new store recently opened this year on Hwy 115 Statesville, NC. At first glance when you go in the store is immaculate. But I went to get some milk and when I opened the door the stench almost made me vomit. Now I'm telling you all this because my next letter is to the health department and have the store shut down because of contamination. The milk cooler has layer upon layer of spilt milk in the bottom. NEVER cleaned! The bacteria in that cooler gets on the bottles. The bottles are brought home the bacteria gets on their food they get sick and possibly DIE! The people in the store have been told and warned of the potential hazards with NO RESPONSE! They act like they don't care. A class action suit against your Corp would not make them care either because it's not them! Three months have gone by and The smell and milk are still in the case bottom.If this review is not addressed then I will have no choice but to call the proper authorities.

Rev. Rande M. As a footnote; I purchased a 1/2Gal. carton of Lactose free milk and the cashier charged me $8.47! I questioned it she said that's what it was. I left but two days later I came in and asked how much the item was. They scanned it and said $3.97. When I told them what happened they asked if I had a receipt and of course I did not. But I told them who the cashier was and that she would tell them the truth. I saw that girl the next night and she said she told the manager of the mistake and the manager said she would call me because I had left several cards because I'm a local Pastor. I've never received a call and they all know they owe me the money but no-one, again, cares! This store has the worst help for customer consideration I've ever seen. They'll smoke outside while you wait for them at the register. To most of the clique there customers are second to what they're doing! Clean? Forget it! Since I brought up the cooler issue to most of them...Well let's just say when they feel like it the store gets cleaned but not the cooler for the milk! RRM

I went to shop at dollar general store 4789 in douglas ga 1730 s Peterson ave I have had the worst customer service by an employee named Andy he argued with me numerous of times and tonight in front of other customers he chooses to tell me not to return to the store I was not pleased at all and so I called his manager up front to assist me and she just told me not to come back to the store when Andy is working

Dollar General expired food offered for sale

This evening I went to the DG located at 125 Hardy Court Shopping Center in Gulfport, MS. I was there to get snacks for my son's classroom party. I was in the process of purchasing KEEBLER cookie products and was excited there was a $1.00 off coupon when purchasing two of their products. I selected several packages of cookies and when at the register, presented the coupons to the clerk. She scanned the coupon and told me it had expired. I asked to look at the expiration date on the KEEBLER cookies and was APPALLED when I read they expired/good thru date was JULY 17, 2017. Today is September 21, 2017. That is uncalled for and completely purposterous! I was disgusted that 2 month old food would still be offered for sale. What if a child got sick and the snacks I PROVIDED WERE NOTICED to be expired AND I was BLAMED? Totally UNCALLED FOR DOLLAR GENERAL!

Dollar General bob at check out

Bob is extremely slow, talking about all kinds of stuff taking forever. I've always like DG but not if Bob is going to be there I'll drive out of town. Again keep saying stuff about he couldn't get a medical billing job cuz he was too old. Not my problem. He made comment to lady ahead of me that she can't complain about the price of her stuff! Then said can't seu but can seu medical issues. I'm a health care working. I'm not happy.

Dollar General manager

Very rude doesn't help at all treats everybody like [censor] and doesn't try to help build the store at all. Very durty has mess every where plus don't have prices on most of the items. Refused to tag a towel and refused to sell to me due to her laziness to put a tag on it and price it. Very sloppy work and not good for buisness at all she needs to be replaced before she ruins the location on 3701 n andrews hwy odessa texas

Dollar General the provided at store 17489

On September 18th I drove to Dollar general located on 79th st and 7th ave( not sure of the full address.. my apologies in advance. I arrived at 8:30 pm when I got out of my car I noticed the door stated that they were suppose to close at 9:00 pm. I then checked my phone and saw that it still had 30 minus til closing . As two more customers arrived we all stood at the door trying to get the attention of the workers dressed in black to help us. They all proceeded to talk one being the manager (a dark skinned woman with her hair flying loose everywhere) I am familiar with her from my previous visits and she is always rude. They all ignored us continued to talk in a group while eating sunflower seeds and laughing loudly with a non employee( she seemed to be the manger friend who was dressed in regular clothing) we were never addressed, spoken too, or acknowledge. There were no signs stated they were closed. I am very upset because I feel we were given poor customer service . We could have been acknowledge instead we sat there and watched the staff enjoy themselves and make fun of us. I need something to be done asap each time I shop there the manager has a nasty and rude attitude but now it has gotten worst because nothing is never said or done about it.

Dollar General service and workers

We recently are having a walmart close in our town, so when I went in to the dollar general store which I often do, I asked the one and only worker in the store (Which was very busy) about a product, and of course she said no, I go oh boy I am gonna miss some of the things we used to get at walmart, and said maybe they will start to carry more of the products at dollar general, she said no, drive to fairmont its only 18 miles away, ugh wow well that is not always an option at 9 a. M. Before work, and better to buy in town, so then I asked would they ever consider a photo kiois at dollar general, she said no way I worked with photos at another store and they are a pain in the [censor] I would never allow dg to get that, mmmmmm kinda makes ya not want to shop there at all with those kinda of workers, the store is a filthy mess also, think they need to have more workers on duty now that the walmart is closeing in town very soon, just saying

I would like to speak with a higher up supervisor regarding my complaint. I was offended by the language and profanity etc that one of your employees used in front of me inside one of your stores and i am requesting action to be taking. I have never walked in one of your stores and it was as bad as this exsperience i had on 9/20/2017. I need someone to reach out to me before i take things to the next step. I am a customer that visits your atleast 4 times out of the week.It seems as thise employee just started with your company because today was first time seeing him behind he counter. The dollar general in chino valley az has been having problem's with there registers excepting debt card and ebt this has been happening for WAY TO LONG! it is very upsetting to get your things only to get up there and find out it is not excepting debt today and the next day it is ebt cards! what the Hell people? it sound's to me like corporate is only worried about there self's and even at this rate they are losing $1000.00 dollars every day.They can't seem to keep employee's do to over working the one's they have and taking to long to hire people they will be closing this store if thing's don't change SOON the elderly people that live in the near by mobile park that come in with there walker's and count on this store is unjust to them! FIX THIS PROBLEM PLEASE for use all in chino valley az.

Dollar General hostile work environment

On Sept. 18th 2017, I went to work (I was currently a full time lead at store 13410- Pemberton, NJ) as I usually do, that day imparticular I was outside passing time before my shift, when the acting SM and ASM, came out to join me like usual, however this day something was off. I noticed an attitude right away from the ASM. The ASM and SM start telling me how the recovery didn't look good from the night before, asking and complaining about the one cashier that was working, to be honest the two of them talk smack on all the employees
Who work that store. Making it sound like they are they only ones working. I know for a fact that I put my all in to my work when I am there. Shoot I even had to come in to run to the bank when I am not scheduled and I'm not on the clock. A lot of off the clock work takes place at that store by the SM and ASM. Anyway I tried to brush off the first conversation because it was time to clock in. So I did. And as I was counting change I had asked the SM about my hours, I stated that since they literally just mentioned about moving a new hire up to lead that may be I could work more days and could get a weekend off here or there, well that was the wrong thing to ask, because the next thing I knew I was being attacked verbally from not only the store manager but from the assistant as well. They stated they don't get weekends off (which is BS cause the SM gets every Sunday) and that they have been there longer. They both abruptly left the store. So I assumed it was over and went about my business taking care of customers and preparing my plan for that nights recovery.. Also the SM never works nights. And when she does her recovery is barely done if done at all, yet she has the nerve to complain about my recovery, which not only am I doing my recovery, but I also have to clean up after the ASM who is repeatedly leaving shopping carts full of either trash or product in the isles along with rolltainers making it hard for the customers to maneuver the isles. Also she is outside smoking more than she is inside. So anyway, I went off topic, back to the hours. When I initially was hired in March, I was under the impression that I wouldn't be on all nights and I'd be able to have a weekend off here and there, that I was ok with, but apparently I was wrong to think that, because April the ASM made sure to call the original manager who left the day I started, to see what was said to me. Well she and the acting SM came back into the store all worked up and the ASM had her phone in her hand and stated she had Athena on speaker and she was to talk to me, the ASM's body language was very hostile. She practically bumped a customer out of the way so she could bombard me with this phone call, all while I was trying to ring up a customer. That was the last straw for me, for my well being I handed in my keys and said I was done. I had a stroke in May of this year and this added stress what not what I needed. So I left during my shift. I knew that was wrong. But I wasn't going to let the two of them attack me verbally like that. I am a hard worker and really enjoyed working for Dollar General. I love the customers. The drama from the two of them was like I was in high school again. I really hope that I still am able to work for this company, I would love to be transferred if possible to another store. There is actually a new store opening in the next town over, I've met the SM. He's a great guy. If you could get back to me regarding this, I want to know what else I can do if anything.
