Dollar General assistant manager

The blades, Delaware store. A girl by name of Stacey Kemp. She is a assistant manager or I was told this. But shopped there faithfully to find her taking my husband out on break and hitting on customers. She smokes weed with my husband and is a very smart mouth lady. Her face book complains about wrk on the regular. Thought you might want to be aware of her. I'm sure my husband isn't the only one she is messing with on the clock.. May want to find someone who is in retail and likes doing so not complain on the daily and just goes to wrk to fondal men who come thro her store. Thank you. Very concerned customer

Dollar General pricing

The Robinson store is VERY bad about not having pricing a lot of items ( end caps, etc. ) having sale items and regular priced items on same display. They had a big sign for 70%off on the front table that also had regular priced items around the table where anyone would think it was included in the sale items. I get very discouraged shopping there either because of not price or signage on a lot of items and also having to wait in line to get checked out. I hear a lot of complaints on this. I have seen several times people laying things down and leaving the store. Is this the way all dollar general stores operate.

Dollar General I am complaining about jeff lincoln

I would like to put a complaint about the store manager Jeff Lincoln in your Princess Anne, MD store. I am a frequent customer in this store and I've never had any problems with any employee in this store. I was in your store yesterday 4/17/2018 and not only was I accused of stealing (he claimed to be joking but still made me feel very uncomfortable) but also every other word out of his mouth was curse words. Thean one being (Mother [censor]er). I feel that this is very unprofessional especially coming from a manager. Like I said I have never had any problems with employees at this store but because of that I will be takingy busiNess elsewhere.

Dollar General digital coupons

I downloaded the $5 off $25 spent and I spent like $37 something so well enough to get my $5 off and when the cashier was finished with everything I asked her if my coupons came off she said yes and started naming them. I said what about my $5 off coupon when I spend $25, then I said I did spend enough, didn't I. She kindly said yes ma'am you did. Do you have the coupon with you? Of course it's on my phone. She said maybe she could scan it, nope no barcode. Then she proceeds to tell me that there isn't anything that she can it on her side. Maybe I should complain to Dollar General web-site or call and complain. Note that this is the second time this is the second time that this has happened, I kinda overlooked the first time but come on if you do this to everyone that thinks they're getting $5 off.

Dollar General employee conduct

Saw an employee laughing at a customer for paying with change. Nametag said Shana, about 5 pm at the elora, tn store. Extremely disrespectful, and will not be shopping here anymore because of thia. The employee stated wasn't even the cashier ringing the customer up. She just stood there laughing. This isn't what I expected from dollar general and I don't think you all should accept this behavior, either.

Dollar General digital coupons

I am a regular user of the Dollar General app and digital coupons. This week's ad shows the Gain washing detergent of 25 loads will be on sale for $3.95 and with the $2 digital coupon the total at checkout will be $1.95 before tax. However, the digital app does NOT have the coupon for $2 off wash detergent. The only $2 coupon is for fabric softener, fabric sheets and Gain fireworks. None of the store managers can seen to tell me why or even try to assist. I went to the store located in Pickens, Mississippi and all I was told was it's nothing they can do to call in to Corporate. The sale ends Saturday and I would like to take advantage of this sale as it is what is being offered but there seems to be a technical issue with the coupons on the app. I look forward to a reply ASAP.

Dollar General assistant manager

I am writing about the assistant manager at the Barbourville, Kentucky store. I was in the store on Saturday and after I left another customer overheard her talking about me to another employee. That customer, in turn, called and told me about it. The assistant manager is Tina Milwee. She said that she didn't know who I thought I was. This all came about because the store was closed in the middle of the day. I called the store manager who is a friend of mine and asked what was going on. She said that the registers were down and that the store would be opened any minute and for me to knock on the door. I did that and asked for Vickie through the door to this Tina that was inside on the phone. Vickie came to the door and said they were opening the store that the registers were back up. I went on in the store and after I left, the assistant manager Tina proceeded to talk about me in front of customers. She said she didn't know who I thought I was calling the manager of the store and hen beating the doors down on the store. First of all, I am friends with the manager and I call her often. We Are Friends! Second of all, I never beat on the door. I simply pecked on it and asked for Vickie. This isn't the first time that I have seen the unprofessional side of this assistant manager. I have overheard her in the store myself telling other employees to make sure so and so works tonight that she doesn't think they've been working hard enough. She doesn't care who she talks about or who she says it in front of. I hope that your district manager will handle this situation accordingly.

Manger Curtis
He is rude every time I go in to coupon he is rude and i know for a fact he caters to one lady all the time. If I ask a question about product he is sharp and ask about when truck will come he mumble and walked away.
I have been treated like this on server occasions and just let it go but enough is enough. Maybe just a friend is who he wants to help not all coupon people we all need to be treat alike.

He is rude and talks hateful to some of his workers.

Been to other stores and there mangers are always friendly and helpful.

Dollar General good store being ran into the ground

There is a Dollar General located at 620 Clinch Ave. in Clinton, Tn. This store is probably around 6 years old. I go there every since Saturday and usually purchase the same items (coffee, baby wipes, cereal etc.) This has always been an amazing store.

There is another store a few miles away located at 620 Edgemoor Rd. Powell, TN. It's been around for a while and is always in shambles. You can never get down any of the aisles due to the boxes stacked up all over. The shelves are always empty and it's nasty. You literally can't get around with a cart in there. It's known all around town not to go in there. The shelves will be empty of the same items for up to a month. I'm not exaggerating!

Lately I noticed the amazing Clinton store is looking like the Powell store. The shelves are empty and you can't walk for all the boxes. I've looked for my coffee for three weeks in a row and it's not there. Not to mention several other items that are not there. I find myself having to go to Walmart for over half of my list anymore.

I happened to notice the same guy from the Powell store is now at the Clinton store. I told him the store was looking ridiculous and he said he just hadn't had time to get things on the shelves. I told him the same items have been missing for weeks. He said the manager quit and they brought him over from the Powell store to help out. He is running this one into the ground just like he apparently has the Powell store. This store used to be amazing! Always clean with fully stocked shelves and clear aisles.

This guys needs to go. I have decided I'm not going back until he's replaced with someone who has real managerial skill fixes that can fix it back up. I'm not wasting my time going in there when they never have what I need. I'll just go to Walmart every Saturday.

If you'd like pictures I'll gladly go take some of each store. You can reach me at [protected]@aol.com

Dollar General store manager of winsted mn store, theresa

There are several complaints, I just found this so it's been a while. During Christmas I had a inflatable Christmas tree up and she came into our business and commented to one of my cashiers how ugly the tree was. This past Sunday, we had severe weather and she called our kitchen phone, asked if she could send one of her workers to our store with one of her checks to purchase coffee and doughnut. Theresa also commented that she ended up walking to work because of the snow storm, and that she had no cash on her. Unfortunately, our policy is that we cannot accept a check without the owner of the check in front of us. I explained this to her and she hung up on me. Myself and many of my staff have never been treated so poorly when she enters our store, I have worked for DG, and would never act the way she does to another local business!

Dollar General store conditions/employee working alone at night

On Sat 4/14/18 I went to shop at 474 in Cape Charles, va...two words ...never again. Since Shannon left as manager late last month this store has gone downhill quickly. I tripped over a long metal thing with two handles on it while I was trying to reach water that was blocked. There are metal cages down every aisle on the ends and blocking the entire side where jugged water and sodas are. This has to b a fire hazard. I am almost scared to see what the backroom looks like. Obviously there is not enough room for stock back there if it is all on floor. I took pictures of needed for proof. Also on this day a young lady named Alex checked me out. She said she is the part time lead but had to work alone yesterday and close alone last night due to lack of help. Is this safe ? A young lady all alone on a Sat night to close . This store is failing majorly in conjunction with safety issues. Someone needs to check this out before you all get a lawsuit

Dollar General fat free milk, best by 04/18/18, plant number 4504-7, 07:14

I recently purchased some Dairy Pure milk from the store in Vale, NC on Hwy. 10 near Honey's grocery store. There were three cartons of Lactose free milk that were out of date that I needed. Instead, I purchased the fat free milk that had plenty of time left on it. I ate one bowl of cereal and I thought it might be me. I ate another bowl the next day, and it made me sick. It tasted bad. My hubby ate some and he felt really sick because of the chemically, rotten smelling milk plus it wasn't lactose free. I opened the carton up and smelled it and it smelled like plastic and chemicals. I started pouring it out. Some chunks started coming out with the milk. At the bottom was a film that resembled thick glue. It did not smell like old, curdled milk. This isn't the first time I have had problems with this brand. The store on Hwy. 18 Connelly springs, NC 28612, had a similar problem with the fat free milk and cleanliness in the refrigerator section about 3 months ago. The milk was soured and I ate a bowl then and thought it was me or the cereal because I just got the milk. Again, there was plenty of time left on the use by date. I know those dates are suggested dates, but there is no reason for the milk to smell sour, rotten, curdled, and just plain sickening. Thank God My family and I didn't get poisoned. Luckily I was the only culprit the first time (Hwy. 18) and my hubby and I the second time. He is lactose intolerant and they either have a leaky box, none, or out of date. All of the stores we have been to have the same problems. Either the milk company has a truck or factory problem or DG needs to up their coldness in the fridge. Idk who is supposed to wipe down milk area, but it is nasty smelling. Once in a while they smell like rotten garbage/produce when you walk into the store. It hits you in the face, makes you sickly, and makes you want to turn right around and leave. Items aren't stocked well or even ordered at the store on Hwy. 18 Connelly Springs [protected]) I think. It isn't swept. They brought all of the carts outside now, so if it's raining you have to get a wet cart. UM, NO. Who wants a wet cart or have to walk back outside when they should be there on the way in. There is way too much theft and waste in this store. (I live close by and know the following for a fact). People come into the store and damage the property some so they throw it in the dumpster( food boxes, cords missing on electronics, take items out of boxes and slip into purse or baggy coat.). Later, they go dumpster diving after hours and even during daylight. They carry their bags right up to the dumpster, fill them up, and walk home. Most of the time the employees are too busy talking or smoking outside right in front of the door. In my opinion, they shouldn't represent the store smoking right there with kids and others with sensitive noses coming right in. It's bad enough we have to smell the chicken poop from the farm right up the road, but smoke is the icing on the cake. It is disgusting. I used to smoke, but I quit and have a very, very sensitive nose. It gives me a headache and I'd rather smell cow poop than smoke. I don't want my kids breathing that in. In fact, cigarettes shouldn't even be sold there. Be the change for our kids, keep our babies healthy. Just about half a mile up the road is an elementary school. No one works long at any DG and if they do, they talk too much, aren't coordinated, bag extremely slow, backing a line all the way to the back of the store. People's food melting, people tired of waiting, a plain miserable experience. Some people just have a couple items. A second register could be opened and checked out in ease. I am disabled and I want so bad to kick everyone out and clean up the store after hours and keep it that way. Have employees act like they are shopping in regular clothes not uniform and keep people from stealing. Although, they shouldn't be so annoying that they drive people away either. I don't get out much so I end up being in the store for 3 hours easy. I just like to look or I like a lot, put it in my buggy, and then decide I don't have the money right then and put it back. People keep following me and get right up on me. Pisses me off but if it was to keep thieves out, I'd be for it. December 2016, my car was hit by an empty clothes cart outside because it was very windy and it damaged my bumper. It knocked the corner off. The manager supposedly contacted headquarters 2-3 times but I never received a call or reimbursement for the damage. If you need a mystery shopper/employee(disabled, bipolar depression)/manager/shift leader, feel free to contact me. When I work for a company, I work for the company. I pride myself on image and courtesy. I help people now when I'm in the store. I demand restitution for all of the incidents and nastiness of the DG stores in my area. I may not to be able to work a whole lot because it will mess up my health insurance, unless the company has benefits for full time employees. I'll work under the table as a customer and keep out the riff-raff. They steal, come on coppers. Dumpster divers beware. No waste unless out of date. Goods can be sold at a smaller price. If this was done, the stores would prosper a lot more. Also, add some more food slowly like produce or frozen meats. Not too much until you figure out the regulars so you don't waste money on discarded food. If stuff is almost out of date, donate it to the school up the road to give to families in need. Write off and people benefit from it. Don't wait until it is really out of date though. You wouldn't want that done to you. You wouldn't know how much that means to a lot of families. I had a friend when I went to school that raked up sugar or flour up off the counter/out of cabinets. She literally had no food. A lot of kids go without, a lot of adults. It's so hard to live these days. Poor people want to get out of poverty but we don't get the foot in the door because we not the "in" crowd. I'd be honored though to represent DG on Hwy. 18 Connelly Springs, NC or others in the area. I pride myself in my work. I'd need at least $10/hr., but I am worth it. I am Heidi Phillips. You can message me at [protected] or call [protected]. 6476 Lost Key Drive Connelly Springs, NC 28612 is my mailing address. Thank you. I believe restitution is deserved from the ruined products and the damage to my car.

Dollar General would not do refund to take coupon and was extremely rude manager

I called store in Deltona blvd, before I came in because I had made a purchase and had forgotten to use my $5 off coupon.Manager told me to bring in coupon and receipt, that was it. I came in with receipt and coupon and she says no you need to bring all items back to refund it.This whole time she has an attitude with me in front of other customers at checkout.I told her how was I suppose to know that, you never mentioned when I called the requirements. Then she says no, you don't have enough to get $5 off because off taxes, yet you can clearly see the subtotal was more than enough to get $5 off coupon.she didn't want to help me or deal with me.She was rude the whole time! It's not a big deal I didn't get $5 coupon but it's not ok for your manager to be so rude to me your customer! I thought you should know what kind of employee you have working for you, especially a manager! You would think they would know better.I will never shop again at your store.

People like this is exactly why I had to quit my job at DG. The customers are so dumb and they blame you for it. And saying "no" to anything makes you rude. Do you realize how much of an inconvenience it is to return ALL of your items and re-ring them up because you forgot your coupon? Of course the woman didn't want to deal with it. It's a pain in the butt, but you don't care, and you wont let it go. No wonder she had an attitude. Do you not realize that these people have things to do? And in the end you didn't even have enough pre-tax to qualify for the coupon. So ALL of this was for absolutely nothing. Honestly, if you never returned to that store, you would be doing them a huge favor.

Dollar General management

I just recently quit working at the Dollar General in Farrell Pennsylvania. The management here are completely unprofessional. I sat for hours with out a single brake. When I would ask for a brake I was usually told no or would receive attitude from the Assistant manager Laura. Yet she takes her brakes whenever she wants and also takes extra brakes when she sneaks out the back or says she is grabbing carts. The store manager took a ladies purse because there was an incident she saw the lady had a gun and I was left ringing register with a loaded gun right at my feet inside a purse till the police got there. People use coupons and she accuses them of scamming. They expect you to ring register and still put away 4 totes and hour when you can barely leave the register. Laura the Assistant has an attitude with customers and employees. The last straw for me was working almost 4 hours I asked for my first brake of the day and Laura the Assistant slams down her HTC and gets loud talking about she has things to figure out. When your a manager you need to make sure your employees are ok. No brake no using restroom not even a drink really in 4 hours and I was made to feel like I was interrupting her day. I walked out. This place is lucky they can keep any employees .
