Dollar General employee at elkhorn city, ky 41522 store

The assistant manager Felicia Stanley is carrying on with a man while at work. My grandchildren saw her hugging and kissing a man in the toy aisle during our last visit to the Dollar Store. This isn't the first time myself or my family members have seen this type of unprofessional behavior from this woman. She sits out in front of the store with this man's arms rubbing her legs and she sits in his vehicle with him while she's at work. The manager Darlene Mullins is aware of the sexual actions and sometimes sits with them as they cuddle. Because they are good friends she refuses to interfere with their sex play while Felicia Stanley is at work. The man has a girlfriend that has followed him and Darlene asks her to leave the store and leave them to their love affair. She also kisses him while at her register leaning across the counter to do it. Both of these women need training in professional behavior at work.

Dollar General employee

At the Dollar General Store in Elkhorn City, Ky 41522 an employee named Felicia Grier Stanley has been seen kissing and cuddling with a man while at work. She has been seen by numerous customers for several months now. This situation has been brought to the attention of the store manager Darlyn Mullins. She refuses to correct the sexual behavior of the employee because they are good friends. The employee has also been seen in the parking lot in the vehicle with this man. He is 30 + years older than her and if she's trying to find someone to pay her bills she should do it on her time not at work. She must not care if she works or not or she wouldn't encourage him to love and kiss her at work.

Dollar General falsely accused of theft by couch potato manager waycross ga

My boyfriend and I visited the Dollar General Store on 1902 S GA Pkwy Waycross GA 31503 Store # 4856 . We were just there for a very short list of items such as soap, toothbrush, shampoo, hair bands, coloring pencils, and a box of children's band aids. Immediately when we walked in my boyfriend noticed one of the male employees oddly staring him down and did so for about 10 mins while we shopped until he finally approached my boyfriend and straight asked him if he was a guy who had previously visited the store the day before and did he steal some sunglasses. The employee claimed his manager had called the store and told him and his other Co worker on duty that my boyfriend was this guy from the previous day who had stolen said glasses. We were appalled due to the fact we had not visited the store the day before and had just got back into town from hauling a load to Memphis TN (my boyfriend is a semi truck driver & makes good money). I addressed both of these male employees when we reached the front to check out . We asked for the manager who were told was not on duty at the store, that she was at home watching cameras from the store . One of the male employees kept looking at my boyfriend then at his phone repeatedly and claimed he was watching the tape from the previous day on his phone or he was attempting to and then said again that he agreed with his manager that my boyfriend was the thief they were looking for. So we just walked out without purchasing our selected items because at this point anyone present in the store was over hearing our frustrations and these employees false accusations and we left the store and went and purchased our items next door at the more than pleasant Family Dollar .
My boyfriend was not anywhere near or in this Dollar general the previous day . As far as sunglasses I have a receipt for a pair that Dollar General does not even carry in their store and that he rightfully purchased at a gas station days before hours away. I was so offended from the employees and the missing in action manager that accused him of being a thief that the employees didn't seem to be in no rush to call after we requested to speak with her . We are planning on returning to this store tomorrow to demand to speak with this so sure of herself manager and request this video that is claimed to be her reason for her accusations . It was rude, embarrassing, and sorry but not sorry, but the entire ordeal pissed me off . Will update on how our return visit to see this mystery and obviously blind manager. Considering Dollar Generals are my favorite of all stores and I usually don't frequent any other stores . It honestly is disheartening to me to say the least.

Dollar General limited quantities of sale items

My local GD store had a 3 day sale on Mt Dew and Pepsi. I went in on the 2nd day of the sale to empty shelves. They said no rain checks. This is my first visit to the Martinsville Ill store since it opened. But I will not be returning to that store and will take my business back to Wal Mart at least they have adequate quantities of items they have on sale. It saddens me to feel this way, as out town needed a store. But if you cant get what you went in to purchase what good is the store?

Dollar General pepsi

Sign outside says Pepsi 5 for 10 not just bottles or anything else. When I get in store there are signs 5 for 10 on cans and bottles. There were only four 6 packs of Pepsi and no Diet Pepsi bottles. So I bought four 6 packs of Pepsi bottles and two of Diet Pepsi cans. I was charged 4.80 per case of Diet Pepsi and 3.50 for Pepsi. I will never shop in your stores again. Staff wasn't even polite or try to make it right. If I wasn't in a hurry and didn't want to run all the way to Walmart I wouldn't if completed purchase. So I will keep my business with Walmart and not shop at dollar general again. Feeling cheated!

Dollar General store manager's behavior

I exchanged a 20# propane tank (empty) for a full one and paid the $20 plus tax at the dover, tn store. I didn't use it until today and when I hooked it up to my grill it didn't allow gas to flow. After trying several things I borrowed my neighbors tank to see if it was my grill that was the problem. His tank worked just fine. I took the deflective amerigas full tank to the nearest store here near my house (3 miles) to see if I could exchange it for a working tank. I was asked if I purchased it here and I told them no I purchased in dover, tn as we were coming past that store returning home from my wife's chemo treatment. The dover store is approximately 15 miles form my home. She told me I would have to return it there or I could just pay the amount of a refilled tank and exchange it here. Why would I pay again for a full tank when I have a full tank with a defective valve! They could have picked up the tank and knew it was full compared to a empty tank. Didn't even try to take care of my problem or show any concern. Will think very hard about ever crossing their doors threshold again. A poor response from corporate will affirm my decision in the future as to spending my money in your stores in the future.

Dollar General employee

While in Dollar General in Roane Mtn, TN.
on 07/19/18, at approximately6:45 pm,
I was very disturbed to overhear an employee engaging in extremely vulgar language with customers while children present. The young children were also involved in this horrid conversation.

They weren't arguing, just cussing up a storm for their own amusement.

Words repeatedly used were:
[censored], [censored], and God Damn.

These words have no place in your respectable establishment and, at a minimum, the surveillance should be reviewed and harsh action should be taken against these individuals.

No wonder children in this region talk like they do, and cannot tell you anything about the Bible.

Sincerely,
Nick Roberts

Dollar General manager not opening store on time and losing money.

Twice in a week, (July 2018), The manager at the Dollar General store on Benham Ave., Elkhart, IN 46516 did not show up until approximately 8:45 a.m. both times. There were many customers waiting... Several of the customers left by the time she got there. And then everyone had to wait an extra 20 minutes for her to do the register after she got there. Thank you. Sherrie Jackson.

Dollar General managers behavior

7/16/18

I puchased items on 7/15/18 at 9:44am and returned in the evening about 4:30pm. As I began putting items away, I realize two items were missing. I called the store and informed cashier at the time of the two items that was left(1 gatorade, Advanced toothpaste). I don't have cashiers name but she stated she saw the items and will put my name on it. I spelled name for her and ask, do I need to ask for someone tomorrow 7/16 because I'm not able to come back today. She stated, no because my name will be on merchandise.

I entered store on 7/16/18 approx 10am to retrieve items and the cashier stated she doesn't see anything with my name on it. As she continue to look, the manager Ismael approached the counter and cashier informed him customers items are not here.
The manager's response was: "You can get the items, but just remember next time not to leave anything".
I was appalled by his response and speechless. He never asked my name, what were the items, when did I purchase, nor did he bother to look. I retrieved my items and left the store. People are going to leave items behind and not on purpose, things happen. That is not how you handle or speak to customers. I'm not asking for a refund or returns. I am requesting that he be addressed about the situation and take responsibility for his actions.

Dollar General 3300 irvin cobb dr.

I entered the store approximately 8:15, headed to get tissue I ran across a sign that read all women's apparel/clothes white and yellow dots 70% exclude shoes and accessories through 7/18. So, I picked up about 6 pair got to the register and there was a young bi-racial lady with glass maybe 23-25 ringing she got backed up because of the security tags. Another caucasian lady with glasses by the name of Adrian comes and ask if she's ok after seeing and hearing she was struggling getting them off. She walked away came back to help finally. She got to me the the shorts ring up $7 I told her what "Their sign" read she reply with they're not ringing up that in an unprofessional way, then get an attitude because I ask her to go read the sign she returns grabs phone, call someone and ignore what I was saying. Her reply was "what's the worse that can happen, I can lose my job." Never apologized. The other young lady confirmed that it was correct she posted signs. I said this to say she needs to work on her customer service skills that was no way to treat anyone besides the line was backed up so anything that would of got the line down or moving she should have taking care of it. She just didn't wanna correct you all mistake.

Dollar General the store

On July 13th, 2018 my mom and I went up to the Dollar General Store in our town (Abilene, KS 67410) to buy some totes. When we got up there all the employees were standing in the middle of the aisle at the front door doing nothing and saying nothing when we walked in. We went back to where the totes were at and the aisles are terrible they are cluttered and dirty you cannot get down over 75% of the aisle do to boxes and merchandise setting on the floor. Which is weird to me because they have a lot of bare spots on the shelves. This store it a terrible store, so we walked out and those employees were still in the same spot they were when we came in. So we left Abilene and went to Chapman Kansas to their Dollar General and was treated so much better and that store is spotless nothing in the aisles and the shelves full. So I spent over 38.00 and my mom spent over 100.00. I would say that something needs to be done with our store?

Dollar General cashier and manager

Manager stays on her cell phone and Joseph conkwright is a known thief and child molester. He hasn't been convicted but I am raising the children he abused and my family and friends will not shop there as long as he works there. He told me himself that he stole money from Dairy Queen when he worked there. The manager also doesn't speak to the customers unless she is being rude

Dollar General no ac in the store!

I visit the DG store in Pocahontas Arkansas often. I live out of town but at the store at the "y" at least twice a month. Last month I was in the store very hot and fans were on workers were sweating and very uncomfortable. Today made another visit and still no AC it's been a month later. There is no reason for the AC not to be fixed. I am loyal to DG so please fix the air I don't want to go to Walmart!

Dollar General check being declined

Dear Sir/Madam:
I shop at your store almost daily. I enjoy the cleanliness and the politeness of the associates there. We live in a small town and it's nice to go where you feel very welcomed. However, yesterday that seemed to go out the window. I wrote a check which I never do, but decided I could and move money over in my accounts if I went over. My check was declined. The associate at the register tried her best to get it through. The manager Udi came up and said there's nothing they could do. Its policy if a check is declined they are not allowed to take it. I understand that. I was not offered a number to call or a reason as to why it said to decline my check. During the checkout I requested 4 packs of cigarettes, Ally put them in the bag. While I was waiting for her to come back from talking to Udi, I put the cigarettes in my little bag. (purse). Not thinking about but knowing I was going to light one as soon as I got out of there. After speaking with Udi, I pushed my cart out of the way for other customers that was behind me. I started to reshop the items in my cart. Udi immediately came over and started searching for the cigarettes. I had forgotten that I put them in my bag. After remembering where they were about 2 seconds later. I said oh here they are and I started to give them to Udi, however she was so worried that I wasn't going to giver her back the cigarettes. She had her head almost stuck in my bag. I felt very embarrassed already and also as though I was a thief. I have never stole anything and would not. Udi often corrects her associates very loudly and with a nasty attitude in front of her customers. After I left, my husband went back up to get our cigarettes and Udi is aware of my husband and that he is my husband. While every other associate greeted him, he said she made him feel as though she would prefer he not come there. She never said hello which she does usually. I am very upset that I was made to be embarrassed by this and that I wasn't offered a phone number to call to find out why the check was declined. I also found out that I was the "talk of the store" even watching the video of me getting declined. Now please put yourself in our shoes. We (my husband and I) are very dedicated when we find someplace we like. We enjoyed your store, however, I do not need yo visit a store that made me feel as though I was a thief and made to feel unwelcomed. I contacted the check service and they declined my due to lack of information. I hardly ever write them and had Udi had given me a number I could have had my merchandise and all would have been fine. I do not know if your policy is to not give out reason or phone number. I think it should be. But that's my opinion. I hate to be that person that complains, but I left that store very upset. I do not know if we will continue to shop at your store. However we probably will or at least I will not shop in the store on Kings Hwy in Colonial Beach. I do not need to be that girl that wrote a bad check.
I hope tho made some since to you as I am still upset especially after finding out they looked at the camera to see the whole thing again. I will mot be prosecuted by a Manager that does not go out of her way for customer service. I was always told treat as you would like to be treated. And customer service is top priority in retail. I know because I ran a store for eight years prior to retiring.
Thank you for your ear.
Becky Richardson

I'm surprised places still take cheques. It sounds like you had intended to kite said cheque since you said if the money wasn't there you could move it around later. That's illegal.

You pocketed the cigarettes without paying. They have every right to be upset about that. You claim to have forgotten - but it doesn't matter. You had unpaid merchandise that you removed from the shopping bags and placed into your purse.

Dollar General sales associate

Hello i was in the dollar general store located in cahokia, il on sunday july 15 2018 and i was over in the crafting section looking at paints when i overheard the store associate talking loud and complaining about customers paying for "small" things with large bills..Then she goes on to say that "some type of checks must be out "and she asked her co-worker what's today's date was. Then the other associate proceeded to tell her what the date was..By that time i'm starting to get annoyed..Then they started talking about another employee not doing some job and said her name but i forgot the name they was speaking about so as i was making my way to the counter to check out an older gentleman came in and went about his way..So while i'm paying for my items the two young ladies are still talking about the absent employee not doing her job and then as i was about to leave the store..The gentleman was coming up front and they had the money drawer open and that's when the very talkative complaining employee said something to the fact that the gentleman was gonna rob them and i looked up and saw that same gentleman but he didn't hear them say that...He merely came upfront to ask where do they keep shoestrings..I was very pissed at that moment because i thought how unprofessional were they to even say something about that man and last time i checked they'd better be grateful that they have a job let alone complain about having to make change due to customers paying with whatever size bill they want to..Those young ladies or lack there of needs to be spoken to about their unprofessional behavior in the presence of customers..
Thank you and god bless

Yes but they should have change for what ever denomination of money given or put a sign on the door that says they can't take them. It's very frustrating when I don't know how much my things will cost and sometimes all I may have is larger bills and it's really frustrating when someone just looks and says "I don't have change" I just look back and say "this is a store, right?"
