Dollar General store

Rochester store needs to have the floors cleaned, water fountain hasn't worked in months, exhaust in restroom hasn't worked for months, air conditioner filters haven't been changed in a year and it is summer. The store is humid and labels are coming off products, and the sticky shelf strips are also coming off. This is not the first complaint. Can something please be done?

Dollar General rude manager treated very unfairly

I go into the villa ridge mo dollar general at least once a day and it is just getting worse everyday. I will be making a long trip when I need to go to dollar general after today. I am actually a general manager and if employees acted like that did there at my store I would not employ them any longer. I don't know how often the district manager checks in but I do know that they need to at the villa Ridge MO store. Right now I'm on crutches and I couldn't even walk thru the store there are so many boxes and just stuff all over the ground. Stuff is just thrown all over the shelf u can't even find things you want, that's not even the worst. My mom works there so she doesn't cash me out. I was in there shopping for at least 15 min and the only person I seen working was my mom. She was cashiering and stocking front shelfs . Usually the manager there is sitting on the baggage thing up from when u come in or in office so I figured she would be up to help me I had my sister and my 7yr old niece there with me. We finished our shopping and went to the other lane to be checked out. My mom called for help and continues waiting on the other customers. We stood there for ten min before a key holder tasha came over and my mom asked if she could check me out she said she was busy and thru her box knife across the register. Then she walked off and went to the bathroom. About 7 min later the manager Tina which was no where to be seen the whole time came to cash me out after my leg is shaking and I'm about in tears from standing on crutches and my leg needing surgery. And she flipped my mom's switch off and said for her to go home for no reason. And cashed me out very rudely then she wouldn't give me a reciept . When my mom asked y she was sent home she was told her additive and they wouldn't allow her to grab her drawer or clock out. I do not appreciate my niece seeing all this and being treated like I was. I understand the other worker is my mom but there are cameras there so they need to go look at them. It was the worst customer service I have seen ever and that is bad being a general manager for 5 yrs and manager for lots of years before that, stuff usually doesn't suprise me but that did

Dollar General I'm complaining about the manager name sandra

It was in Sunday in the morning when I went to my nearest dollar general located at 1600 s Salinas Blvd Donna Tx 78537 store # 13959 when I was at the store a ask the employee Sandra that if she could tell me a price and she really rude told me to looked by my self she didn't give me the price so I went and got some other stuff and when I was going to pay i ask her if some discounts came off and she still been rude told me that they did, so I pay my stuff and when I check the recipe none of the store discount came off so I told her that I wanted to return the stuff and I explain her why and she told me that it wasn't her fault and that I could return the stuff, and if i had a problem to tell the manager, knowing that she was the manager and then i told her that she was really rude and that she didn't support to talk like that to the customer and i was going to report her, and then she was ok thank you.And since I walk in to the store she was in her phone.

Dollar General your app coupon in store

I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have gone to your store(s) after spending time making sure i have all coupons available from your app that i want to use saved .only to go into the store, spend another hour + filling my cart Just to get to check out and it NEVER works! ! You ask an employee to print out the receipt so you can see what purchases the digital coupons &sale price didn't apply to BUT...they can't until your purchase is complete.Also if you accidentally put in the wrong phone number and try to put the correct one in it does not allow that! And your employees just stand there ! Exactly what kind of customer service is that!? well I only bought certain items due to the sale price or digital coupons available. Im NOT paying full price ! Do you do that so people just say ok..here's the money..i don't want to hold the line up or have you have to void the order and re ring everything back up is this so you get full price for things that should of had a discount ? You are the only store that operates in this manner therefore I won't be shopping in your store other than for basic dollar items.I've spent alot of money in your store in the past but i don't have my valuable time to waste just to have to end up going to another store to get the items at a cheaper price. I have a big family and i budget to save.you are a dollar store therefore most people who shop there are for sales, discounts or deals due to tight budgets. Dollar General slander/racial discrimination

I Fatoumata Toure do hereby make a complaint against Dollar General its agents and/or employees namely Page Harrison at store #[protected] Gulfport, ms. 39507 for slander/ racial discrimination on july 15, 2017 did make false and damaging statements alleging theft of some product that resulted in calling law enforcement to which camera was reviewed with myself and family that resulted in nothing however myself and family with minor children subject to submitting to taking in store pictures and told we were banned back in store and said manager was laughing at us. I am a business owner of Sister African Hair Braiding who as a customer did make frequent purchases at store. we were treated less favorably than others because of ethnic status as Africans who have slight language barrier. The above complaint has and continue to cause mental anguish of being deprived equal footing of human rights and fundamental freedoms. We were not arrested for no wrong doing yet our pictures were taken and posted as common thieves that can cause irreparable harm to my business. The said manager action is deemed a reflection of Dollar GENERAL corp. Pictures of myself and family removed without delay and contacted at said business.

Dollar General employee customer service

I was at the Dollar General on 435B E US Highway 69, Kansas City, MO 64119 when several employees were in the front open room very loudly arguing over something. It was so loud I couldn't ignore it and it made me very uncomfortable. One man asked for help and they told him to f*** off and continued to argue. I didn't see any of their faces because I tried not to get involved but they were all in the employee area towards the front where it has a door but is usually open. This store is also filthy on a regular basis and every time I've been in there my cashier has always complained about one of their co-workers to me which is very unprofessional. I will not shop there any longer unless this all changes.

Good evening,
To whom it may concern today july, 30, 2017 i decided to go my nearest dollar general as usual to return 4 bags of tide pods that my husband purchased and wasnt able to use because of the washer he was using he works 6 wks out of state thats why he purchased 4 bags where he works his nearest store is a couple miles down so he decided to take 4 bags to his need the washer at work does not accept pods im thinking its a front loader well anywayz i decided today to go return them my husband doesnt remember where he could of left the receipt which i said dont think its a problem so as i got there a young man approached me amd i told him if i could return them he said yes but only for store merchandise which for me was fine since i needed a few things as i was looking for my items i just felt very uncomfortable there was the young man and 1 other employee by the name of yvonn and another employee out of the clock just visiting i can hear them talking about my transaction as i approached the checkout the employee that was of the clock kept telling the young man call her see if she answers call her so he dialed as i waited she then dialls not sure yet who then she says she doesnt ans they both step a bit down and she tells him multiple times its ur call its ur call so then i ask is there a problem and the person that wasnt in uniform which im guessing employee respons with were calling the manager because its 4 bags and because of coupons i said what coupons i didnt use coupons my husband can bearly use his card she states we dont know we need to ask they were going back and forth by this time im already getting fustrated and customers in line looking like whats going on they looked at me both employees as if merchandise was stolen or either given with coupons total disrespect i felt that i was being treated like if i was a thief my kids kept looking like whats going on i feel so dissapointed and embarrassed by the way the employees took upon me taking 4 bags after i then said if theres a problem let me talk to ur supervisor or if theres a problem call me he then said no im going to do it so he started ringing up the items i left so embarrassed and furious if this is the way im going to be treated for not having a receipt why have a business total disrespect...

Dollar General awful cashier

My daughter and I had a terrible experience with one of your cashiers . At the Ringgold Ga store . Anthony was scanning our items and making remarks about my daughters owl tattoo on her leg . He was calling her big owl. I explained to him that she had gotten the tattoo in memory of her daughter that was born premature and had passed away. And all he had to say was "Shes probably better off not being on this planet" My daughter was humiliated. It hurt both of us. We liked shopping at Dollar General. But people like that are the reason we will be avoiding it in the future.

Dollar General bad customer service.

Every time I shop at Dollar General in Ord, Nebraska there is one particular employee that harasses me about taking my receipt even after I say I don't want it. She keeps on saying that it has a coupon even though I tell her I use Dollar General's digital coupons. It is very rude and inconvenient that it takes longer than needed to shop there. It really makes me not want to shop there. All of the other employees are nice. But this lady makes me take my service elsewhere.

Dollar General store # 09343

I live right being the Dollar General(store # 09343). This store is convenient for me so I reluctantly shop there. The employee's are always standing outside right by the entrance with a cigarette hanging out of their mouths. My child is extremely allergic to cigarette smoke. I cant even bring her when I shop there. The cloud of smoke that we have to go through to enter the store is ridiculous!
Out of 5 shopping trips to the store, 4 times items where left out of the bags. Are they trying to rip us off or just incompetent? This last time, I went to the store to get my child a sippy cup. Got all the way home...No cup. I called the store and they are like" yeah, its here". I go all the way back and they never said "i'm sorry". Just "here". Wow! Im done! Ill drive an extra few minutes out of my way to never have to go to this store again. Just thought you would want to know that I am not the only one that feels this way. All of my friends have stopped going in this store for this very reason.

Dollar General three dollar coupons

I have been taking advantage of the coupons you have made available through your survey program. Have not had any trouble until today. I was told that they could no long take printed coupons. Well you have to print the coupon in order to use it. When I stated this I was told they had someone make copies and reuse a coupon over and over. I was under the impression that once you used a coupon it would not scan again since they had different numbers on them. Dollar General customer service store#12032

I came into store#12032 and said hello several Times to the manager of the store even Said good morning she did not respond, one of the cashiers had to make her notice that I was there and she Still never recognized me OR Said I'm sorry ma'am, the cashier Said, oh, she's counting money in my opinion, I understand that the store has to do whatever is required, such AS counting money and things of that nature, but customer service comes first, she could at least address me to let me know where the product that I was looking for was. To totally ignore a customer. I wasn't a rude I was extremely nice. I even Said good morning to her, she never recognized me, I would really appreciate it if something would be done to address this issue because customer service should be dollar generals number one priority. The store is located of Wesley Chapel Road in Decatur, Georgia. OR Maybe Lithonia Ga. Thank you

Dollar General cashier with long gray hair that works at the tiverton ri store at night

I go to the store located on main rd in Tiverton, RI almost daily...You have a cashier with long gray hair that does nothing but talk and talk and talk and talk...she holds up the entire line because she is having a minute conversation about her personal life...It's so bad that customer's are becoming irate and don't want to go there anymore..she doesn't pay attention to what she is doing and she keeps making mistakes...then she has to call someone over to fix it which takes even longer...something needs to be done about her...first of all she needs to be trained better so she knows how to fix her own mistakes...she doesn't even know how to check if she already rang an item up or not...but if she shut her mouth and paid attention to her job maybe she wouldn't make so many mistakes...I say just fire her and get someone who wants to work and not get paid to talk

Dollar General several employees very rude and discriminatory behavior.

I have been living with my family including two disabled children for several months and have been shopping at Dollar General often spending between 300 and 500 each month. I have never been so humiliated and embarrassed by the treatment of a cashier . It's unprofessional and immature and it says a lot about your store. I was told I couldn't use my 5 dollar discount receipts, I was denied a return item and every time I shop with my children the cashier were very obvious and public as to making comments about my family. We are humble and kind and because we do not have much we are discriminated.

Dollar General manager brandee mcdonald at store 12733, winder, ga

Hello, the store manager at the Winder, GA Dollar General store 12733 needs to get help. She always smells like alcohol. She tries to cover it up with body spray and it does not work! She sits in her red Jeep in the parking lot for 2-3 hours at a time and drinks alcohol in it. I can't say how I know but I just do. When she is in the back office the alcohol smell hits you in the face. She talks very loudly and sometimes is rude to the customer and other employees. Her manager is named Heather. She sends text messages to her cashiers and is very rude and speaks to them as if they are stupid. I want to remain anonymous but she needs help and this store needs someone to run it that has a strong head on their shoulders. Please do something! I don't know who to call to report coworkers.

I was at a store in 1444 Loudon, Tennessee the last Christy was very rude and mean to my daughter and I tonight at 7:30 pm. all I needed was for her to price check but she insisted I was wrong. I even offered to put everything back where I got it and she said don't worry bout it I'll do and scuffed at me. She acted as if I was annoying her by having her price check items. Dollar General your front end general manager anita.

Me and my family are almost daiky customers at your Moira New York location. I was visiting my father when My 2 year old daughter and her father along with his son visited your store today. They were only in the atore a couple minutes to purchase paper plates when the front end manager accused our boy of asking customers for mo ey. Insisted it was indeed him although he insisted it was not. she said three customers pointed him out and then proceeded to tell him he was going to jail while yelling like a mad woman. She tgen kicked all of them out and told them they could never return. Embarassed they left vut returned ahortly afterwards in the persuit to speak with her boss and ask for security camera footage to be shown. tlAt this time Anita was very apologrtic and said they made a mistake and handed them a 25 dollar gift card that said "Sorry Lynn" written on it. the actual culprits ended up being her grandson and another employees child that were asking cuatoners for money. I have never heard such harrasment from an employee at any business before and we are extremely offended and upset about this situation and a 25 dollar girft card to your store does not and will not make this any better. We are not sure of we will step foot in that store again! the boys who was wrongfully accused was very upset and cried for an hour over this. not aceptable!

Dollar General chips

I was in your store this afternoon buying chips: Doritos were 2/$5 and Lays were 2/$5 when my items are rung up I asked would discount be taken at end because I noticed they rang up $2.95 each the clerk told me yes. I guess he noticed it didn't and he told me I couldn't mix. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. They were 2/$5 why did it matter if you mixed?

Dollar General customer service

Hi, I'm a well known customer at the Dollar General of 245 E Grauwyler Rd in Irving Texas and the more I go to this store the worse it gets. The employs are texting on the phone in front of the customers while trying to scan our items at the same time when there is a long line of customers waiting. That is ridiculous you should at least have two cashiers open to take care of the customer instead of standing around being on your phone. It should not get to the point where customers are putting back their items to leave because you all are not doing your job correctly. I will continue to tell others not to ever go to this store. Thank you

Dollar General employees

Ever since the dollar General located at 21113 US Highway 80 east Statesboro GA 30461 opened when I go into the store there is no employee in sight. I have stood at the register for 20 minutes before walking out the store without making a purchase because not once while I was in the store did I see any employee. I will no longer shop at this location. They need to get better employees as well as a manager who cares about their customers because this one apparently doesn't. If it was possible to give a store a negative response this one would sure be a negative one.
