I was walking into Washington Mutual well now Chase to ask my girlfriend a question and before I even got to the door two guys approched me in about a 2003 green Expidition I think and asked me if I wanted to buy a home theater system and I said no figuring it was some sort of scam and they said just look at it and give us an offer so I said okay because this summer I am moving into a house and figured I would maybe just look so they opend up the hatch in the back and showed me a completly unopend suround sound system they even showed me a magazene and buisness cards and pointed to the msrp or something said $1999 I thought that was way too much so I offerd them $100 dollars the guy hesitated and said they need $200 and they were planning on goin to a stripclub for st. patty's day so like an idiot I fell for it and as soon as I got home I googled it and just had riped off things just thrown at me so here I am now what do I do? I got there cell phone # and in there voice message it says that I have reached Ryan White I think it said and I'm pretty sure my girls bank has cameras so please let me know what I should do.Thanx so much

They got me back in 2007 at a gas station in Las Vegas. One guy in a van with California plates. On my box the msrp is $3, 999 I must of been part of the scam when it first started. I paid $200 & a joint lol I'm not kidding. After I told him I only had $200 he asked what else I had I told I had a joint he said sounds good I take it. My sub speaker has a built in amp the sound system is loud& sounds good it's been working for the last 8 years

They just got me today in SE OHIO Jan 14th 2011. Im sick to my stomach from it. As soon as I opened the box I realized I had been taken. They got me for 300$ and the guy even ask me to help him set up a drywall crew. This setup is not worth 20$ its nothing but a box of cheap speakers. Karma is all I can hope fot at this point I guess I got mine.I know better than to buy out of the back of a van. He didnt even count the money when he put it in his pocket. Im punching the next clown that tries that guarenteed.

My dad got some Divinci D-7 speakers and they worked on it and sayed it was a scam. Later on though, they gave me a try at it because i always fix things. I connected one of the small speakers with the two cords to my ipod, (i found a way to make the two cords go in the earphone hole), supprisingly IT WORKED! IT REALLY DID! I even set the whole thing up to my tv and it worked but it was quiter than a mouse. I JUST NEEEEEDDD A REMOTE!

The same exact thing happened to me! I though it was too good to be true. I bought for about $150. This guy who sold it to me was from Oceanside. The guy approached me and asked me if I wanted to buy a home theater system. Then they showed me a magazine and pointed to the msrp it said $1999.

Same thing happened here... San Diego, CA. I'm at a gas station and this kid says he's a home theater installer. He has the business cards, the magazines and good stories. He said he had an extra that he needed to get rid of or else some guy was gona take it from him. (so dumb I know.) Took me for $100 and my buddy for $70, so $170 all together. It's def. the best scam i've ever seen. Everything looks legit and the dude was really nice. He had a white truck and look like a construction dude. Gosh he got me good. Really pisses me off tho! He also told me he's an MMA fighter and he had a cast on his arm. He even gave me his phone number and I got his liscense plate #. The cops are coming over right now and ima file a report i guess. Spread the word!

hahahahahaha I'm in Fort Lauderdale FL and I got these speakers for free as a gift from a guy who is setting next to me screaming about how he got screwed in the exact same way. Does anyone know what the resale value of this crap is and if there's any chance we can make some of that money back without doing exactly what these losers are doing?

Riverdale nj. In front of BJ's on rt 23.
I was getting tires fir my truck when same
story as above... Two guys blah blah! I
only paid 100$ but what realy sux is was
going to be part of a birthday present for
my girlfriend ( I'm getting her a flat screen
tv). The few times I'm not thinking of my self
and this time I get screwed!
The box has a picture on it showing the speakers
hooked up to a tv. That's what my plan was, but
there are no RCA jacks either in the box nor
input. Only speaker wires that have to be run
out of a stereo amp. These guys suck but how
can "divinci" get away with all the misleading
info on the box? The guys are all over but the
company is real with an address and all. I havnt
tried but has anyone tried to hook these speakers
up the old fashioned way? Or are they completely
fake?!

I am so pissed off. They got me this afternoon before walking into Chase bank on New York in Aurora. Same story as above and above. I haven't finished setting up the speakers, but I am so pissed to learn I was scammed outta $320. [censored]! That could have been a PS3 or something. We have to get the word out to let people know about these damn scam artists. I just feel so embarrassed. It's a lesson learned. An expensive one. GDMFS!

the worst thing that made me mad is i was at home depot to get some things to fix my house and i gave em all my money nd that piece of ### dont work so dont buy that piece of ### from any parking lot at walmart quik trip home depot or best buy. im warning you and its not jus divinci and the guys drive trucks with plates form different states and they wear fake shirts they make themselves and they carry stupid magizines that show the product. they say there boss gave them extra boxes and they dont want to keep it so they figure they can try to make a little money. everything is fake and is made like its for the dollar store compared to wal mart.

Yeah same thing, Target parking lot in Boulder, Colorado. 2 guys pull up with the same shpiell. Took me about 40 minutes for them to convince, fortuantlely i only gave them 200$. I had 190 i gave them 10$ more for beer for giving me a deal. I set it up when i got home and it worked and everything, but a few days later i googled it and this came up. Really made me mad. The more i think about it the worse they sound. But thank goodness im just a college kid and the money was my parents. But live and learn i guess. What makes me the most angry is that i own a iPhone, so i could have just Googled the name right then and there and i would have known. They seemed like such nice guys then but now i would kill them if i saw them again.

Yea, they got my buddy yesterday in front of Academy for $320. He wanted $600, but my buddy told him no more than $200. So then the guy said he would go $300, and so my buddy agreed and I had to spot him $100 so then the guy said to throw in another $20 for beer, and so i did which come to the total of $320. So im not goin to tell my buddy that he got screwed until he hands me the $120 he owes me later on today.
