Directjobsource.com / Employment scam

1 United States Review updated:
Contact information:

Company places ads for well-paying jobs on CraigsList. When you respond with a resume via e-mail, you receive an auto-reply e-mail that advises you to go to www.Directjobsource.com to submit your application.

Directjobsource.com then wants you to sign up and and pay them money up-front for access to their 'exclusive jobs'.

A complaint has been filed with the Minnesota Attorney General's office and the Minnesota Better Business Bureau - please do the same if you are a victim of this scam!

I applied for two jobs from Craigslist on the same day, and both of them sent me an auto response with a link. The links were different and took me to different urls, but the pages looked exactly alike. Red flag. It asks for basic information and a resume upload before you're redirected to a job search page without actually applying for anything. Then they want you to pay money to find the job listing you came to apply for.

Hope it's not identity theft, because they've got my resume now.
