Digitel / A lot of assorted Internet Service Problems

My internet connection was installed about a year ago, for the first week when it was already "installed" and supposedly activated it was not functioning at all. Then for the rest of the month and the month after, the connection will not last 5 seconds. It will be enough to actually load google, but before you even type in your search phrase, you're bandwidth is long dead and gone. After the internet connection was "fixed" the 256 Kbp/s that they promised, was apparently a misleading statement. 256 Kbp/s stands for (as far as they're concerned) KILO BITS PER Second, which is the equivalent of 25 Kilobytes per sec, and that is on a good day; usually the speed of the connection will only be at around 4 Kilobytes per sec, the speed of a defective dial up connection. And here we are now about a year later, having the same problems as when I first subscribed, the connection is disconnecting every 5 secs. (If you're asking why I haven't unsubscribed, that's because they are the only ISP up here in antipolo that provides DSL.) Oh and just so that you know, between a report and an "actual fix" their turnaround time is about 2 months, so it's quite fun (as my neighbor said) to unsubscribe from the service, and then have the service crew arrive at your doorstep a week after. Ladies and Gentlemen, Digitel, the Internet service provider from hell.

mga magnanakaw mga nanunungkulan ng digitel mula sa pinuno hanggang sa mga manager, mga manyak pa.ano ba yan?

sino kaya ang mali? ako? digitel? or yung agent na pinag aplayan ko?

June 2008, bago ako nag apply (sa agent), nilinaw ko kung kung fix yung bida 999 ko, kung walang extra charges, sabi ng agent, magkaron lang ng extra charge kapag idd, ndd or cellphone, kaya siya na nag offer kung ipa deactivate na lang yun. then nag apply ako.

July 2008 ako nakabitan. After 1 or 2 weeks nag call ako sa digitel to make sure kung unlimited call ba kahit sa ibang network dahil baka mag ka extra charged ako, then she told me magka extra charged lang kapag idd, cellphone.

May tumawag sakin from digitel daw siya tungkol sa babayaran ko, tanong ko magkano, sabi Php 1, 099
nagtanong ako bakit my sobra eh plan 999 lang ako, sabi sakin magtanong na lang daw ako sa hotline.

Tumawag ako sa 2493282 regarding my billing statement dahil wala pa ko natatangap na bill. ang sabi Php 2, 199.60 ang balance ko for 2 months. Ang sabi sakin kaya may extra charge dahil sa phone features automatic daw yun after 3 months my charge na 90 pesos? ang point ko hindi sinabi sakin. hindi ako aware.

Sabi sakin tawag na lang daw ako sa 114 or 187

Tumawag ako sa 187, ang sabi naman tumawag daw ako sa 1133.

Tumawag ako sa 1133, at sinabi ko ang reklamo ko. ang ending ng usapan namin. sabi ng nakausap ko. Hindi raw ako magkakaron ng extra charged kung hindi ko yun inapply or ginusto.

Eh hindi nga ako nag apply ng phone features na yun, at hindi ako aware tungkol sa bundle ng bida 999 &up regarding phone features.

Any comment on this? Pinipilit nila na dapat ko bayaran yung extra charged.

sa 1mb connection ko sa digitel talo pa ng broadband kaka bwiset eh mahilig pa mandin ako sa online games every 10-20 minutes ano pa nga ba disconnect!para lang akong naka dial up sa connection sa p2p nga na gamit ko sa isang kanta aabutin ng tig isang oras..

OO tama kau walang kuwenta pamunuan ng digitel lahat ng department mapa costumer care, technical at admin.Ngapply ako bida 777 noon july 2008 kinabit nmn agad wala p 1 week pero 1 buwan na hindi pa gumagana ng parefund ako at hanagang ngaun wala prin binabalik sakin ang mga makakapal ang muka. malapit n mag december 2008.

actually ako rin nag apply ng 2mbs/sec sa digitel... sa una maganda pa ung net ko... kaya lang after 3 months bumagal ng bumagal... ung 2mbps/sec e naging 480kbps/sec... anu ba yan... ginagawang tanga ang mga tao... pa cutoff na tau sa digitel... sa ibang company nalang tau mag-apply

nakakainis naman ang digitel ang bagal pag nag online games about 1-2 min disconnected kaagad anu ba yan bkit ganyan pati you tube tagal mag download.

hay naku tama kau lahat!!! ang bagal na ng connection sira pa lge. last aug. 2008 ngkaroon ng kidlat nun gwa ng bagyo tinamaan ung modem nmin. 1 month kme wlang connection nreport nmin sa digitel after 1 month pa nla naaksyonan. and u know what my bill prin kme khit ndi nmin nagamit ng 1 month... tsk! tsk! anu un nglolokohan?
tpos ngaun 1 week n kme wlang connection ng telepono. hayyyyyyy anu nba yan?

hay sana naman they are aware and doing something on these, dami naming may prob na ganito, wag naman sana abusuhin ung iba na wla masyadong choices sa province.. please pakiayos naman service nyo o, kahit sa SUN CELL gnun din, khit hindi busy ung phone, laging busy whenever i call, .. hanggang mediocrity nlang b mggwa nyo

la tibay na maasahan tlga sa digitel.. every subscriber ata kumukulo ang dugo sa kanila.. f pde meron nga lang sana choice matagal q n napa cut ang line q.. and to think na mataas na ung speed na ung kinuha q still same problems and nae-encounter q. buti pa nga dial up atliz un lam u na limited lng tlga ung speed mo.

hmmm...hahaha ntatawa ako sa mga complains nio...its depend namn sa facilities nio eh or well, alam nyo nde ang broadband ang nagpapabagal sa connection nyo TRY TO CHECK OUT THE SPECS OF YOUR COMPUTERS AND ASK THE COMPUTER EXPERTS IN YOUR LOCATION. TANGA K LNG GUMAMIT NG INTERNET AT TANGA K RIN N GUMAMIT NG COMPUTER HAHAHA

got probs too with digitel.. im a subscriber of digitel phone line for years, i was using smartbro before digitel kept bugging me, kept calling and offering their net service. i decided to switch to them since ive a lot of prob with smartbro net connections. i was convinced that dgitel net service is way better kase daw 512kbps and 999 lng a month along with my phone line na.. it was totally a WASTE OF TIME... i waited for a month for approval, hnd nako nagback out dahil napabayaan ko n ung smartbro ko hnd ko na pinaayos ung net ng smartbro ko dahil sa knila.. after a month approved then i waited again for so long para sa installation more than a month, technician went to our house while i wasn't home, they just left the modem and never came back.. i waited again for few weeks for installer, then i ended up installing the modem myself. it was successfully installed BUT from then on i cant download movies, the Internet connection is very, awfully slow and i cant use my phone and Internet at the same time.. ### crap! eversince i subsribed to them ive been callign their so-called technical super that is obviously not technically inclined agents! i kept telling them why they call themselves technical support when them cant even answer my very simple technical questions (this is because im a techincal support also of networking devices hnd lng sa phils.)... recently icalled them and their calling themselves na as Customer Support... See??? they've just realized that they are really doing it so wrong, when you call tech support you expect that people you will be talking to are technical, evenif they're not so technical they should at least know simple networking problems and solutions.. isa pa, while i was waiting for a month for installation... i was billed for that month! i called in, complained and complained and was told that they're going to do something about it but until now wala rin ngyari.. i even told them that i will have my phoneline terminated too because of the poor service i get... i dont have internet connection right at this moment at super tagal na, ive already called them so many times and all i get is 'nasa field na po ung problem nio, pakimonitor nlng po, paki hintay nlng po and technician, within 24hrs po ang waiting ng feedback nila' ...24 hrs???? it's been almost a month na!

tae digitel yan ang bagal ng internet aaboting ka ng siyam siyam...tapos yung pag nasira yun modem aaayos ng digitel daw nila eh after 2 weeks eh di pa ayos ano ba yun eh

digitel sucks a lot!!! kaya sa mga nagdadalawang isip na mag subscribe sa digitel, according to my experience, NO!!!, WAG!!!..makakalbo ka lang sa inis... POOR INTERNET CONNECTION AND POOR IN TECHNICAL SUPPORT...puputi lng buliga ng mata mo kaka-antay...tatapusin ko lng ung contract ko, aalis na ako d2 sa DIGIHELL NA ETO...DIGITEL'S MOTTO : " DIGITEL IS A BUSINESS KILLER" ...yan ang motto nila...wtf!
