Digitalcorp (d & Y distributors) obvious fraud with ebay business I bought from Digitalcorp (also using the name d & Y distributors) through ebay a digital SLR kit Nikon D80 December9th 2007 (US $ 1.108,99 including freight). As they mentioned Paypal/Visa as their favourite payment method I paid immediately, not knowing that there is a Problem with acceptance of confirmed addresses from Europe in the USA. Digitalcorp returned my payment twice. So I went to my bank and transferred the money directly to the account of Digitalcorp.

I was a bit surprised because their customer service was not giving the impression that they are interested in helping me and the tone was much ruder than in usual business life. My e mail questions were not answered. And also when I asked if the received my money there was no reaction. Based on this I gave a negative feedback in ebay hoping that would make them move. I can tell you it did!!! Unfortunately not the way I hoped. Original e mail text from Mr. Zak Kraeim (Manager Digitalcorp).

As mentioned if you do not remove your feedback you will be waiting a very long time for your package this way your feedback will be true otherwise there is no urgency on our part this is not a threat but please understand when we receive a bad feedback for no reason now you just give us a reason to justify the feedback

A phone call later the same day was an unique experience in my business life. His rude tone he was shouting all the time - basically said the same as above. If I would not take back my feedback I would loose my money without getting what I paid for. Even I felt being blackmailed, I accepted his offer to make an express shipment the same day and took back my negative feedback. Rating has been withdrawn mutually as it is called in ebay. You might imagine what happened nothing from Digitalcorps side.

Early January after I have chased them again and again, as well by phone and e mail. I have set a deadline (January the 11th) after this date I will take legal action against them.To be prepared for this I had a deeper look into all available information and found beside this site here lots of other message-boards where other people reported similar experiences with this company. Parallel I made contact with ebay because I believe that power sellers like Digitalcorp cant be in the interest of ebay.

Considering that beside 455 negative feedbacks they have 833 mutually agreed withdrawals their rating with 98% positive feedbacks cant be the true picture. To be honest, I also cant understand how people 2 month after buying can rate positive. Or others write a bit slow or rude cs but rate positive.

8th of Jan I made a short reminder to them regarding my deadline 11th reaction came surprise, surprise, within ten minutes: Your shipment left with Fedex Jan 3rd You will receive a tracking number with automated mail shortly thereafter Today is the 10th and no wonder no tracking number no delivery. No reaction on emails chasing the tracking no.
Help from ebay. We are acting, but we wont tell you.

Result 0. No payment return no delivery. I'll report the fraud.

Digitalcorp is not a reputable seller. Avoid them! They robbed me off 900$ I've bought an item on the 2nd of December. It usually takes 3 working days to receive payment via bank transfer, it took them more than 10 days. They do not answer to emails unless you threaten them with leaving a negative feedback.

I've sent them lots of emails requesting some tracking information until they finally said that the item was lost. I'm sure that they did even send it at all, for they refused to give me the tracking number and costumes declaration number. Patience is not a virtue on ebay as I once read in some forum.

It's too late now to file a dispute. Don't ever deal with digitalcorp, unless you want to lose money and nerves!

I ordered a D80 Nikon kit on the 23 november from New Caledonia to be shipped to my holliday addres in France ; It was not shipped before december the 18, after I left a negative feddback ; they also threatened me not to send my camera if I didnt removed it. I had to phone lots of times as they dont answer to the emails.

They shipped it at a wrong address, the camera was returned by the french customs in january. For the second shipping, they sent it at my hollidays address, instead of my home address though I have asked them to ship it to my home address.

A friend of mine had to make the clearance and to ship it again at my home address!

Never deal with them!!! Is it possible to inform Ebay about them?

I had to phone lots of times as they don't answer to the emails.

They shipped it at a wrong address, without giving to me any tracking number. The camera was returned by the french customs in january. For the second shipping, they sent it at my holidays address in France, instead of my home address though I have asked them (by phone & by mail) to ship it to my home address in New Caledonia. A friend of mine had to make the clearance and to ship it again at my home address !

Never deal with them!!!

Well my transaction was worth almost 1, 400 and what they said was what they did. I guess sometimes you have bad luck when buying things anywhere even at stores.

I purchase a camera kit from this company on Ebay. They never sent the complete order. I contacted several times by phone, email, paypal, etc. and never returned any of my calls or emails for over a month. They then told me they sent the order, gave me a tracking number. When I checked the number found out it was a false number. I called them back, they gave me the run around, and ended up hanging up on me after putting me on hold for a long time.

Not until I contacted paypal did they make contact with me. All I was asking for was for them to return a portion of the money I paid, for the items they did not send me, and they still would not do that. They ended up ripping me off for close to $200.

They are lucky they are located in a state that is too far for me to drive to. I would have showed up at their location and physically got my money back, plus more just for the trouble I had to go through with them.

I'm still looking to getting my money back.
