This company offered a free trial for delivery charges only. Gave 10 days for trial but cannot reach
them to cancel account on the 8th day. However, when inquiring about my credit card, my company
say that Diet Max Cleanse has already charged $87.47 to my account and I have not been given a chance
to cancel since they do not answer their phone and the email address is not available. I did go in to the
original site and did an unsubscribe. I have received the trial capsules and after taking just one capsule
became sick with a heart rate of 109 beats per minute. I was charged the $3.87 for shipping of this
sample and am willing to pay that charge. But, my trial period ends today and they cannot be reached.
My credit card company say charged my account for the new order on Aug. 11 which is 5 days before my
trial period is to end? They say they will delete the charge. I am very unhappy with the company. I
think they are scamming people!

I ordered the product on 9/9, received the product on 9/15. I understood that you have 10 days to try the product. My account was charged on 9/16. I called and was told that I could get a $20 credit. This is completely ridiculous! This is a scam and the product does not work!

The trial period is only to get your money. They will charge you before you even try the product.

I started with the trial 9-3-10 was charged 87.97 on the 13th Sept and and yet again today! With all these complaints that I have read, it's obvious this is a scam. What am I to do? What has everyone else done so that it will help everybody who is falling prey to this? Please advise.

I placed an order for the "free sample" for the handling charge of $3.95 and then proceeded to read the fine print.
I immediately called and cancelled the order (same day). The representative said the handling charge had already gone through and could not be cancelled but no further billings would be forthcoming.
Things rocked along and no product was received and no billing appeared.
Upon looking at this month's credit card billing I notice a charge from these crooks for $87.47 though no product was ever received.
Do not fool with these people, it will cost you!

Yes, to those who complained about this company and product, I'm a little upset with myself for not doing more research. I ordered a free bottle, they claim to just charge you a shipping and handling of $4.95, after a few days I started getting cramping pains in my upper stomach. I called to cancel and then later found out they hit my credit card for $82.61 ( strange figure). I have since called again to cancel and return the unuse portion. In additon notified my credit card of this scam. I guess what is next to notify the Better Business Bureau and channel 2, 4, 7 and 11 of this scam. So others don't have to go through what I am going through. I have eyewitness new on speed dial.

The only way to stop this from happening is to force them out of business. This has been going on for quite some time. They use different names, so Beware! I totally gave way to their tactics. The cost I paid was high, but the lesson I learned is invaluable. Your only recourse is to file a complaint with your credit card company, close account and get a new card. They will keep billing you as long as they have an active account number. They won't even reply to notices from the BBB. They just don't care. They are unscrupulous and fraudulent.
It has been suggested that a "Class Action Suit" ought to be filed against them. Does anyone know how to go about this? Include me in!

Ditto, ditto -- after the second bogus charge to my Mastercard, I put in a Cardholder Dispute form, then canceled my card. A few days later I had a new card, and a few months later Mastercard had reversed all of the bogus charges, except for a couple of $1-and-change charges for "transmission". This was by El Tecal in Panama, "Diet Max".

I have read all these comments and I have been duped as well. I accepted the free offer in October 2010, thinking I was only going to pay the delivery charge, but got charged £48.73, tried to contact them but it is as though they don't exist. They have now taken another £44 from my account am so furious with myself for not cancelling my bank card details straight away, i am waiting for my bank to ring me as I am writing this. Does anyone know if these perpeptrators are being tracked down?

Tamra...
I was so disgusted with this company that I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau of Chicago/Northern Illinois. They have given them an F rating. Can't get any lower! The BBB informed me that they sent several notices to them, but they refused to respond. The obviously don't care about public concern. Since the product I received came from Miami Florida, I got the address for the BBB in Florida, but I haven't yet contacted them. I have been trying since October to get my refund. The Miami office gave me a $20.00 refund (shut-up fee) so I can't get the full refund. I talked to a supervisor and told her I DID NOT want this credit, as it is considered a SHUT UP FEE, but she sent it anyway. This just shows how unscrupulous this company is. When I told her I would file a claim with the BBB, she hanged up on me. This company uses several different names (dba-doing business as). Watch out for Profit Vault, El Tecal, PA (Panama), ELGtech in Haslemere, England, as well as Diet Cleanse, Diet Max, Colon Cleanse, etc. They will use any of their dba's to bill your credit/debit card as long as it is active. I am still out $67.84. I had to close my card and was issued another card. I only wished I knew about them sooner. All the ads and endorsements makes it seem like a good reliable product. It has been a real hassle to say the least. I hope you can get some restitution.

Just thought I'd share an email I just sent to this "company". It reads as follows:
Diet Max Cleanse — Offered Free Sampe
I highly suggest that you click on the above link and read all of complaints (16 pages to date) that have been posted regarding your so-called "company". I have posted one as well. I have made numerous calls to your "customer service" department attempting to cancel my memebership with no success. I have been billed for product and shipping and handling TWICE, although I still HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY PRODUCT! I am going to take this information and the info found on the above website to the highest authorities to make sure you people do not scam anyone else!
I highly suggest your future ventures are legitimate with the public's interest in mind!
IF YOU AGREE, PLEASE SEND THEM AN EMAIL AS WELL. Their email address, if it truly exixsts, is SUPPORT@YOURORDERSUPPORT.COM. Kind of ironic since they don't offer any type of support what so ever!

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE...IT IS DEFINATLEY A SCAM! IF YOU HAVE AND TRY TO CONTACT THEM, GOOD-LUCK! I HAVE NOW BEEN ON HOLD FOR 30 MINUTES! I agree to the 100's of complaints about this so-called "COMPANY"! I am actually on the phone right now, on perma-hold, awaiting to speek to the same customer service rep I have spoken with, HIS NAME IS JAMIE... I have spoken to him twice before trying to cancel my "memebership". The 1st time I called, I was angry because I never received the "free trial bottle" of the product and I was being billed the $87.13 for additional product that I had also not received! When I ordered the fre trial, dummy-me did not read the fine print so I didn't realize it was a 10-day cancel or your screwed policy. After screeming on the phone for 45 mins to Jamie and his supervisor, the only thing I got was "we'll cancel your memebership and ship out the bottle of crap that you have paid for, but we can't refund or cancel any shipments" Bull sh..! Well, a month later, got another bill for $87.13 + 2.95 shipping and handling and NO PRODUCT! I am so sick of these frickin" Crooks! Oh, by the way... I am still on hold listening to their rediculous music... Anyway, so I called again the other day and spoke to JAMIE again to complain that I have been charged and my memebership was not cancelled. He says he showed record of my call and purpose, but because I did not fax the cancellation request form (which I never received either) that the memebership was still in effect and again, I am stuck with the charges, but still have not recieved the damn product that I have now paid for TWICE! He faxed me this so-called "cancellation form" which did not contain anything other than content boxes with little red x's next to them and no content and a disclaimer stating that they take charge backs seriously and any charge backs will be reported ruining your internet credit with all other on-line companies, blah, blah, blah... I AM STILL ON HOLD AND I NOW HAVE A MAJOR KINK IN MY NECK AND SHOULDER FOR HOLDING THE PHONE ON MY SHOULDER AS I TYPE...! So I forwarde this B.B form to the email address JAMIE gave me, support@yourordersupport.com, requesting a new form with the content emailed to me...NO RESPONSE. So I forwarded it again, STILL NO RESPONSE! Now I sit on hold, FOREVER, waiting to resolve this mess once and for all. After reading all of these comments, I have a feeling the only way to resolve it to do what another commenter said, cancel my credit card and order a new one and eat the charges. What a pain in the but this entire situation has become! I REPEAT...DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE...IT IS DEFINATLEY A SCAM! IF YOU HAVE AND TRY TO CONTACT THEM, GOOD-LUCK! I HAVE NOW BEEN ON HOLD FOR 30 MINUTES!

Step 1 cancel your credit or debit card with your bank and have a new number issued. This is a SCAM. The ad shows a "FAKE" reporter that tried the product and claimed it worked. Step 2 Don't order from an unknown company. I too was scammed, but only paid $3+ because I went to my bank on the same day when I realized the Terms and conditions did not supply a phone number, web site, or physical address. I was billed from China and never received the product. Here is a portion of the terms:

I was initially charged $74.26 by Diet Max [protected] EL TECAL on Oct. 21, 2010. I called Diet Max and told them they had sent me the wrong product. They promised that they would send two months' worth of the right product, that there would be no further charges to my credit card and that they would issue a $20.00 refund. The next thing I know, there's a charge from ELGTECH [protected] HALSEMERE SUR on De. 24th. I contacted my financial institution and they told me to send them a letter stating clearly: I WISH TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP WITH DIET MAX EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. I DO NOT AUTHORIZE THE AOVE-CAPTIONED CHARGE OR ANY FUTURE CHARGES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PRODUCT OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT. I sent the letter by Registered Mail and then called my financial institution. They are challenging the charges but it will take 4-6 weeks for me to be reimbursed.

my eperience is the same. tried to cancel before 8 days was up. phoned [protected]. the automated response
was to the effect that the connection could not be made. sent emails to every address on their order confirmation
and emails about gifts etc. and was notified "delivery to the recipient failed permanently". anything received by mail was returned to sender unopened. my visa was charged $3.87, $87.47, $2.95, $39.95 in sept and oct/2010. kept trying
and in jan/2011 did get thru to the phone #. for a refund email "support @ your order support. com". the form was to cancel the subscription, not to get as refund! filled it out and could not send it. a) wont acceptcanada zip code, must
only be #s and b) wont accept my telephone #, tel.must contain a #. several tries and got back again a week later.
despite my history, was told to cancel the subscription at www.------------/mc, which brought me to a webpage
Acaimax/ Dietmax is a scam! maria the tele phone contact then made it out for me. apparently the password was
"on line"! Maria then stated because I never cancelled within the time frame, because they have no record of the
mailings being returned, there will be no refunds because it is all my own fault, not theirs. in summary, their system
is designed to systematically rip off their customers via deceit and confusion, confusion, confusion

ANSWERS****************I hope this helps..I got sucked in too! The product I received the label was peeled off the orginal bottle and another label over the top ...I received my bottle but it was 18 days after the 10 day mark. Did the same as alot of people tried to call etc. with no satisfaction...I did manage to get to talk to someone after 2 1 hour on hold sessions...they are totally oblivious to the scam or so she said...she had no idea what I was talking about...I kept her on the phone while she was telling me what website to go to...I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE OUT THERE...www.cancelsite.com/mc ...you will need a PASSWORD-type in (online) and the REPS Name (Janee) I just did it and it accepted it and said I would get a confirmation of cancellation email. I just got the confirmation as I was typing...well that's was an expensive less to learn they got me for $400...I hope this helps someone!

I have now had to cancel my credit card and put it through to the authorities. DO NOT EVER BUY THIS PRODUCT...IT IS A SCAM! I bought the product during a special trial, when it was just $2.95. I later found little charges of $.04, $.09, and two just over a $1. This was after I found a charge for over $80. I tried contacting the company but their phones were constantly busy. I call several times during various time of day, but still go the same thing. I couldn't even email them because their email wasn't listed. This is a scam 100%. No product received only money disappearing. I'm thankful for my bank who is immediately stopped my card and refunded the charges.

In Oct. 2010 I called to try the free sample and agreed to pay the one time shipping fee. 6 days later called to cancel I was able to reach someone and told them that I wanted to cancel my order they told me the order had been cancelled and no further charges would be charged on my account, well about 5 days laters I am looking at my credit card statement and see that they had charged my account for 35.81 I called back and was able to talk with someone again they told me that my order had been cancelled and it was a computer mistake and they were taking the charges off of my accout that it would take 10 days. Well 10 days went by and still NOTHING. So I called back again and this time the number says that all recuits are busy. So after now 2 month of trying to get in touch with these people they have charged my card again for 87.00. I have talked with my creditcard company and they are "disputing" the charges. But still to these day I have never recived anything from this company. I am really looking into filing charges against this company!

The only thing I authorized was the payment for S&H for $3.87. They claim on their website they are only opened Monday-Friday. I had to wait until Monday to call to cancel. They told me their computers were down and to call back tomorrow. They went ahead and billed me anyway. If their computers were down, how could they do a billing? This is just another ruse they use.

I called this company over 2months ago to cancel because i saw a charge pending on my card. I was assured that it would be canceled. NOW 2 MONTHS LATER I see another charge on my card for 35.81 from the same company. Of course when i call my bank they have a different phone number on file than what is posted on the site. I have been on hold with them listening to the same recorded music for 2hrs AND IM STILL ON THE PHONE NOW ! All I want is to cancel again this product and for them to discontinue taking money from my account. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE ! Not only is this company a fraudulent and rip-off, it will use any of their dbas (doing business as) to attempt to keep billing even after account is closed. I got a charge on my cc from a company in England called ELGTech for $87.47 + $2.95. This apparently is the same company as the charges were exactly the same. My bank has closed the credit card and will issue me a new card. They will do a fraud charge-back for the amounts. They cannot recover the original charges on 10/4. The Miami office gave me the measly credit of $20.00 (shut-up fee) even tho I told them "NO" I don't want that because a shut-up fee takes away any chance of receiving the full refund of $87.47. I have tried calling them repeatedly but their phones are busy (off-the-hook for) for 5 straight days, and the Miami number has been disconnected. The BBB of Chicago sent them several notices, but they refuse to reply. They have a "F" rating with the BBB.

This componany is a scam, please do not give your credit card information to them. They gave me a free 10 day trial and before receiving the product, i was charge $87.47. I was fortunate to cancel my subscription, however they charged me again which i was told it was a computer glitch (yeah right), got the charges reverse again (twice) by dietmax. Low and behold it happened again, which they told me it's another glitch, i tried the number [protected] which is on my account statment which is out of service (scammers), went to the original website to try and contacting them with the [protected] number, but the line has been busy since. Busy phone line+Out of service number= scam, scam, scammmmmmeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssss!

I got scammed just like all of you! I tried canceling and they were saying it was too late and it wasnt and this company was partnered with naturacleanse who charged me 78.98. They refunded (naturacleanse) and I spoke to my bank to dispute to them about the 87.47 fee from dietmax and my bank was a great support, the Diet max was giving me run around, 2 months later I got on phone with some guy who said he'd give me refund. Finally! I kept all my notes of what happened and I called my bank today just to make sure I got the money back and they said no you didn't. I am trying to call dietmax today and phone is busy! They stole money from me that needs to be paid back.

This company is a fraud. I am filing complaint with my CC company as there were charges on my statement for a product I did not receive. Also, the previous month, they charged twice for the shipping fee. I feel for all of you who did they same as I and now regretting doing so. The number I have is [protected] but when called recently got a recording that all circuits are busy, try your call again later. When I pulled up their website, the domain is for sale so they must know we are on to them. Good luck.

There is a website: [redacted].com. Find and click on the Nutrimax link. There you have a chance to be contacted by an attorney, etc. Also look for the Acia Berry link. If they get enough complaints, maybe they will do something about this company - put them out of business? Be as specific as possible. I have been fighting this for over three months. Closed account on 10/4 and they billed me anyway. They also use several other names, Nutrimax Labs, Nutrigenic Life, El Tecal, Pa, ELGTech, Diet Max, My Diet Max Cleanse, My Colon Cleanse, My Detox Cleanse, Natural Detox, Profit Vault, and others.

I ordered something similar from vitamin world and kept getting charges til I had to shut off my debit card, order a new one, and wait for refund. I shipped the product back and guess what? I didn't even get my refund even though I shipped the product back as soon as they sent it! I think this is crimminal.

I done the free trial. A few days after receiving my product, I was Charged 74.00 on my card after I had already gave them the shipping cost. Called to get my money back and talked to someone named J.R. He said if you open the bottle we have to charge you for the product. I mean come on, how are you going to try the product for free if you can not open the bottle. These people are a bunch of foreign crooks is all I have to say. He told me it is in the agreement that return the product unopened in within 10 days to get your money back. So this mean you are getting a free few days to look at a bottle and decide if you want it or not. That is ###ed, yes I said ###ed. What happen to these peoples brains, how can you try a product out by looking at a bottle.
