Die Bosvelder / Customer to pay for wrong order
A friend and I went for lunch at Die Bosvelder, Hartebeespoort, on Saturday, 12 Sep 2009. We ordered a platter to share. Johan (the waiter) brought the wrong platter. I called him and mentioned our problem. We asked if it is possible to leave the platter on the table and just bring us the Cheese griller and Steak. Johan brought a Cheese griller and Schnizel portion only. We didn't mention that the order was wrong again.
After the meal, I asked for the bill. The price for a full Cheese griller meal and a full Schnitzel meal appeared on the invoice. This was unacceptable and I asked to see the manager. Johan went away and came back with a new bill. He said it will not help to speak to the manager, the best he could do was to give the 2 extra meals at staff price. I am really disappointed with the manager's attitude.
Come-on Bosvelder. Your food was always great, service of the waiters was always great... Why spoil an afternoon over a 12cm Cheese griller and a Schnitzel?
