Diamonds Limousine / Bad service

We planned for weeks for this wine tour, with each person saving five dollars per week to save up enough money to participate. We had called around to four different limo companies and finally decided on Diamonds limousine because of the web offers and decided on the Canandaigua one because of the champagne and the price.

There was no complimentary bottle of champagne in the limo as promised when trip was booked. We brought orange juice because we were going to make mimosas. He informed us there was only water in the limo which was the first time we were hearing about water at all.

There was no bottle opener at all in the limo and we had to buy one for 8.00 at one of the wineries.

Our limo driver was not experienced- he told us this was his first trip where the web says he would be experienced and exceed our expectations

He did not know where he was going nor where the wineries were. When we were at NY culinary center @ 2:40pm he should have said we did not have enough time to go on to the next winery. We were told he would keep us on track.

He went past one of the wineries (Imagine Moore) we wanted to go to and had us lost in naples for hour then took us to a different closed one before we finally arrived at the correct one.

Booked a 4 hour tour and were on it for 5 ½ hours- He charged us for 2 hours over our time limit when it should have been one hour. We got back at 5:20pm and he had us lost for the half hour.

No coupons were given as it said they would on the web.

Asked chauffeur to put the extra on the credit card that was used for the deposit when he wanted to charge us for the extra time and he claimed he called the home office and no one was there because someone went to the emergency room and that they wanted it in cash- everyone was scrambling for cash because we were not expecting this to happen.

Did not give us a receipt for the cash he received and when asked to provide one he resisted claiming he had nothing to write on until finally writing it on a post it note

We gave him $156 dollars plus a $45 dollar tip

the worst experience ever. The chauffeur took advantage of us by saying that we HAD to give him cash. He had my credit card i told him to just charge it on there so we could fight it because HE was the reason why we were late. We called diamonds limousine to complain and she had no idea about any of it. He never turned in the cash we gave him. We had him write us a receipt and complained. After many attempts we FINALLY got a response saying that they would refund us for one hour which the said was 62.50. WE want to know why were we charged 156 dollars if we went over our time by one hour and a half?! If one hour is 62.50 that means he charged us as if we went over 2 and a half hours. When he was not experienced and had no idea where he was going!! So basically dont ever EVER use diamonds limo. They lie about their service and overcharge you when you go over even though it was because of the INEXPERIENCE of the driver. THen when you complain they give you pennies back. We would have been happy with 104 we figured that should be what we get back if they want to refund us an hour.

    Next time drink the wine with the screw top ? save the $8 dollars.
