fake cell phone scams
I bought some apple iphones that were deamed to be originals and when they arrived to my home they were fakes.DHgate asked me for shipping proof where I shipped the phones back to the original address they came from.I'll post the whole original claim from my DHgate account and you'll understand why you should never buy anything from these ripoff conartists.

All I have to provide is the proof of receiving the items with the EMS shipping slip that plainly stated the phones were worth a total of $160 for all 4 phones.4 apple iPhone 4g phones are worth more that $40 a piece.I have the shipping return label showing where they were sent back as totaling a cost of $424 and not $160 like the EMS label stated.I have to take a picture of the invoice return and receive documents and that's all I can provide because the phones were shipped back as soon as they were received as inaccurate items that I purchased.

I bought a phone from DHgate.com and I received a different, cheaper, and poor in average performance. The phone failed to perform some of the actions and applications in the phone. When I opened a dispute, the seller said I had to pay a shipping charge and I had to ship back the phone to return it. I had to pay $79.49 to ship back a phone that I wasn't suppose to receive.
non delivery of goods
I placed two orders. With two separate sellers. Both provided shipment tracking numbers within a day or two of receipt of payment. Both were fraudulent. I of course emailed both of the sellers. Seller one was oh so sweet. So very sorry about all of it. But know what, never made good on it. I finally had to press big time and got a refund from DHgate not the seller. Lying slime ball!
Second one I am in dispute with now. He sent a tracking number. It of course was phony. that was on a Friday. On Monday the jerk sent another tracking number for the very same merchandise. Cute huh? And the shipper (ems----china based group) had already "verified" that the package had left china? Now I am not a rocket scientist, but do consider my self reasonably intelligent but how exactly did the seller send it on Friday and then send it again the very next Monday with a different carrier?
So I wait. Yesterday, I get an email that is supposedly from UPS. They have a package for me but there is an issue with delivery at my address. (odd because shopping online is my main way of shopping so our ups guy knows us almost personally at this point) Anyway, there is an attachment I am to print out and take with me to pick up my item. I can't open it. Call to UPS---guess what? It's a total fake! Broken english in two spots tipped me off that something was most assuredly wrong to begin with. Anyway, forwarded that to UPS for them to pursue the issue further. Now I don't have the items I ordered. I will have to go thru the escrow people again to get my money back.
I trusted them. I figured after the first time it was just a fluke. One bad apple so to speak.
but this site is nothing but a haven for thieves as a whole. there are those whom have had good transactions, but i venture to say that those are more than likely the thieves making the reports. very few of the good ones are written by someone who speaks English clearly as the wording is broken.
And since the original tracking number from EMS feeds into the usps at the endpoint for delivery, am submitting it to them for mail fraud!

Same situation happened to me. They generate a tracking number that was on time. Then it just stalled and never "moved" for two weeks. I contacted DHGATE to dispute and file claim. Yes, the seller was polite. So what. I had many back and forth texts with them. I did not delete so DHGATE could verify all the chat. Im sure getting refunded will take an act of God but there is no alternatives.
incomplete escrow return
DHGate is agent for China vendors: you place order with DHGate, they hold $ in escrow until product received, then Chinese vendor gets paid. If not happy, you're supposed to get your money in escrow back. Sorry, not today booby. You may get part of it back, as I did. The product I ordered from charming_price through DHGate were fake AND defective. Not only could I not sell them, I couldn't use them myself. Basically, you have a scammer protecting a scammer. Buyer beware! In fact, of ANY transaction where the vendor is international (esp China) and the price too good to be true. When you complain, DHGate just bounces useless emails off the complaint until you say "chuck it!" I suppose some purchases are OK, but mine turned REALLY SOUR.

I made 2 purchases thru dh gate they were for apple ipod touch 32g. Their was supposed to be 5 in each order and their was only 3 when I opened the package and they were fakes! The packing slip on each box said qty 5, and of course as you can guess the escrow service sided with the seller, and on top of all that I paid an extra 115 for ups shipping and the used the free ems shipping, another way to scam you. This company is nothing but a fraud!

I ordered new pairs of boots from dh gate - china wholesale for $200.00, they offered $ 15.00 coupon so I paid $ 185.00 for my boots not only sent wrong pair, it was also damage pair, I sent pictures of the damaged merchandise to the seller, they told me and credit back $ 65.0 for repair. I emailed stating " definitely not"! They went ahead and sent the $ 65.00 and insistning to have my boots repaired. I asked for the mailing address, so I can return the items, they ignored my email. I asked my bank - bank of america to help me with the refund so hopefully they will side with me rather than the scammers. I am still waiting for bank of america to credit my $ 185.00. I bought a product from the seller bestdealing, through the DHgate and never received. Open complaints and all procedures required by DHgate but got no return. It is a waffle. Save time and try to beat us by tiredness. Careful and not fall in this because DHgate is exempting from any liability and are in favor of sellers. I say this because even with the purchase in dispute they released the payment to the seller and just ended the dispute. Despite DHgate only mediate purchases we do not buy directly from the seller, bought in DHgate. This way they need to be on our side, to answer our emails and be watchful about dishonest sellers. The way the dhgate acts, it seems they are only interested in sales volume and not quality of service. I am disgusted with this because releasing payment of purchase is in dispute is the same as condoning dishonesty. Will be formed a gang?

I am an American living in Bangkok. I have recently ordered from DH Gate and have two major problems, and two minor problems; all from one evening of ordering approximately 8 items.
One item arrived defective and another arrived broken. One seller worked with
me to satisfy the defect, the other seller basically told me to piss off and I was out $160. DH Gate released my money to them contrary to their own positions.
In both cases the DH Gate process, Dispute team, whatever you call them, have been unprofessional, dishonest, and obstructive. They have been the sole reason for my long waiting, confusion, and stress.The notion that DH Gate provides protection of some sort is poppycock= it is just not true. I have witnessed them actually lie to me. It so happened that the seller and I, on the first case dispute, became friendly as we sought to end the dispute and waited for DH Gate to finally "allow" me to close it, and agreed clearly on the evidence I submitted. It was DH Gate who stepped in and lied about evidence reviewed, not knowing the seller and I were in daily contact. I have zero respect for DH Gate.
DH Gate looks modern, new, and Amazon-ish; I assure you, it is not Amazon- ish. You are on your own in a clearing house of thousands of little Chinese backroom deals, warehouses, and BS junk sellers. In a 3rd case a seller who sells "everything brand new" sent me a Electronic Rodent Repellent that must have just come out of his kitchen. It was filthy without packaging, fingerprints, and nasty with cooking oil impregnating every nook and cranny. This is just garbage.
In a 4th case a package of LED Lights with IR Remote control was ordered the same evening but arrived minus the IR Remote control (contrary to what the site/picture state as contents). I was told for my light color IR Remote was not used. Wrong of course as I had put these up just week prior and this was an additional.
Imagine ordering 8 things from Amazon or another E seller and having a majority of the items broken, defective, incomplete, and then having to spend considerable, constant time in flurries of emails trying to track down, chase, chide, demand, or beg for money back or fulfillment of order. This is my experience with DH Gate. It is not possible that this is a fluke,
Lastly, in the first example, where the seller and I worked out our problem, he sent me a replacement part. However, the part was broken worse than the original product defect. DH Gate closed my dispute ASAP based on the signature of parcel of delivery. Yet the problem was never fixed. I simply gave up on that point.
Have just had some faulty iPods from DHGate checked at the apple store, either apple does not recognize the serial numbers at all or serials are recognized but for different makes & models than the ones provided. It was actually quite comical watching the puzzled apple staff scratch their heads & try to explain why the white iPod video provided was registered with apple as a black model
I recently had purchased 2 itouch from this site. When I recieved the products it was nothing like the picture that they posted on item. These where fake itouches not the really thing. Hi, i was just wondering if anyone was having the same trouble with DHGate as i am. I put in an order for 3 ipods with a DHGate supplier a couple of weeks ago and recieved them pretty quickly with no problems. With my confidence built i've since ordered 15 more ipods between the dates of 25-jul-06 & 2-jul-06 and these ipods have still yet to be shipped. I've emailed the supplier (who does have a good feedback/rating) and it just seems like they're giving me the run-around with excuses like 'items needed to be restocked' & 'problems with they're shipping carrier.' I've read on other wholesale forums that apparently this is what some suppliers do, ship your first few items quickly without a problem, and then you gain confidence with them & order big - that's when they screw you over. I've since tried to leave feedback for this seller and found that through some (convenient) glitch in DHGate's website i am unable to (there is a feedback box but no submit button) I've also noticed that most buyers who do leave feedback, it is their first time leaving it for the supplier - it just makes me wonder if they are in the same boat as me, in leaving positive feedback for their first few successful deliveries then unable to leave feedback for the rest. Has this happend to anyone else?
Sometimes you can find a good seller and good items, but never buy from them expensive items or brand names, everything they sell is FAKE...

I placed an order with DHGate-- and wanted to immediately cancel the order before I paid--and the system would not permit any canceling of orders. Something's up with this B2B service--I have never been on any website that would not allow you to cancel your order at any time before making payment, or even edit the bill to ship to info. Beltal is a great website to purchase unbelievable items of all kinds. I have purchased multiple items with no issue except the time it takes to receive the products. I am patient and the items purchased have been flawless. I have purchased everything from watches, to golf clubs to video games that were hard to find here in the states. All came wrapped perfectly, no damage and worked GREAT!
DHGate & Beltal are sites like ebay. The different is they are based in China. All the sellers are from China. As you may know there may be some scam. So does ebay. It is difficult to find a reliable seller, but you still need to do that. That's why someone can be successful someone doesn't. You need to do something other people cann't do. I know some good sellers on these two sites. I can share with you if you want.
14k diamond ring
I purchased what was shown as a 14k diamond wedding ring set with a $2, 999.00 price tag attached and what I got was a fake diamond wedding ring set. Dhgate mentioned that I couldn't get a refund and I would have to try to contact the seller and of course he's ignoring me. Please ladies and men don't beleive the hype! Dhgate sucks!

DHGate once again proves that Chinese people are left without any professional ethics. All of us aware of the "Chinese" quality the worst class. I accept that in order to save some money I purchased from DHGate but the product? It was worst than I could imagine. Besides that the so called "Customer Care" should be renamed to "Customer Harassment". Most of time they don't understand english and if you are fortunate enough to have a chance talking with English speaking person than he /she have no clue of your case. I recently purchased what I thought was going to be a Apple Ipod Touch 2nd generation.
What I got was a cheap fake MP4 player that will not even work with Itunes and is only 8 GB.
The advertisement stated that the item was an Apple Ipod Touch 2nd generation 16 GB.
False advertising ? Fraud ?
Now I'm trying to get a full refund from DHgate but no success yet.
I hope others will learn from my mistake.

This outfit is operating like ebay where acounts can be set up, it allows fraudulent transactions, A person will open an account or several account post some crap or product picture, use this site to transfer money from pay pal, credit cards, bank accounts, by logging in under a different outfit and buy the product them selves, the money comes out of the victims accounts at pay pal or comes on the credit card bill etc or the money is draind out of bankaccount using hacked info to access credit cards, pay pal etc.. This company is chinese so therefore with it being chinese it is a rip off unless you are a crook that wants to steal money, then this site is for you because it is just a crooked and supports all fraud activity probably gives bonus points for the busiest fraudster.. Avoid this and all chinese sites and chinese products just like you try to avoid the black plague

Sellers are thieves, they never send exact items, all itmes are different then they listed.
Even if you choose paid speedy shipment options, they send your item with standart free surface post, they steal your shipment fees that you paid.
DHgate customer service will not help you, they never help disputes and they never solve cases, their resolution center sucks

Dhgate.com is a Chinese wholesale website. Dhgate is full of counterfeited products. Sellers may list what they want and list whatever quantity they want. Sellers can send you a totally different product and will eventually end up wining dhgate's crappy dispute centre.
Dhgate is slow to respond to emails. Dhgate is slow to respond to disputes. Dhgate doesn't not seem to care about any of their customers. They will make no effort to contact you or try to resolve your issues unless you use legal threats.

If you are tempted to order from DH Gate, do your self a favor and just walk away. I am a writer and I was offered a job to try D H gate and report back the results. I read all of D H Gate's pilicies and protection guidelines and felt sure I would have a positive experience. I order my little replica bag, which was advertised as AAAAA quality. I received the bag about 2 weeks later. The bag was horrible so i decided I would return the bag, i signed on to my DH Gate account and tried to open a return case. On their site you are given the run around over and over. If this dont wear you out and you actually do get access to the return/contact seller page, you are far from getting to return your package. I emailed the seller 11 days strait in a row. I clearly stated i wanted a refund and i would return the package. I was told it was to expensive for me to ship the bag, i would have to pay customs fees and it was a very complicated process, better to just keep the bag. It just so happens I lived in Asia 20 years, i am very familar with the mail system, customs and extra fees. I explained to the seller that i had friends whose husbands rotated every 30 days to and from China and the package could be hand carried and mailed within china, no customs fees or anything else. It was like emailing a broken tape recorder machine. No matter what i stated are ask for in my 11 emails i always got the same response, " why you not like the bag, beter you just keep" over and over and over. Absolutly forget DH Gate helping you. I tried over and over to open a case. Customer service is like the same broken tape recorder, " we will answer in 24 hours", never once did they answer. The only time i heard from customer service was when they notified me they released my payment to the seller. So this assignment was very easy to give an honest first hand experience with DH Gate. STAY AWAY. DH Gate does not honor or stand behind any of the statements they put out about returns, refunds, solving problems or getting back to you. The sellers speak very little english, dont have the first clue about quality and the chances of you getting your money back is absolutely ZERO.

I was ensured that a dress that I ordered would me here by July 4th BEFORE I ordered my dress! Promotionspace (a DHGATE seller who has a 6th year Recommended Supplier with 6453 Transactions and 99% Positive Feedback posted on the DHGATE website...HOW THEY EARNED A SCORE OF 99% IS BEYOND ME AND SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FALSE ADVERTISEMENT) ensured me that I would receive my dress on or before the July 4th. It is presently July 13th and I still haven’t received my dress!
After placing my order, I continued to message them asking for updates. Most of my messages were ignored. The few messages that they finally did respond to, they still continued to give false promises that my dress would arrive on or before the date that I provided them PRIOR to my order.
I’m now convinced, IF I ever do receive the dress that I ordered, it probably won’t even look anything like the picture online either!
Do yourself a favor and order from a legitimate honorable company... even if you have to pay more money... it’ll be worth it! Because ordering from DHGATE will be the worst mistake you can make if you’re shopping for a special dress for your wedding, prom, homecoming or any other special event that you need a dress for!
dhgate.com is a Chinese Co. that pops up when you're looking for different things. I wanted a T shirt with a band logo on it. They billed my c.c. within 8 days. Nine weeks later I received the shirt. That's total b u l l s h i t. Yes, they're slow to respond ! If they do respond, they never answer your inquiry with any direct remedy. Find another site, this one sucks.
