Dear Complaints Board,

On Feb 3, 2013, I placed an online order (Order #37862, Online Order Confirmation #D7689749E8) for tactical gear, which was not in stock, with Desert Deuce MTO (Kevin Hilding President of Desert Deuce, Inc. ) totaling $109.50. The order acknowledgement (See below) confirmed that the items ordered were not stocked and that Desert Deuces would place a back order with the manufacturer Condor Outdoors:

Prior to placing the order, I had exchanged several emails and phone calls with Desert Deuces customer service (Christy Styles - email: [protected]@ddicorporate.com; Desert Deuce, Inc. - email: [protected]@ddmto.com, [protected]) to confirm price, functionality and availability. After the order, I continued to send email and phone requests to Desert Deuce MTO and Ms. Styles for order status, but never received a response from either. In early May 2013, three months after placing the order for the out-of-stock/back ordered items, I phoned Henry Ko in Condor Outdoor Products sales (Henry Ko ([protected]@condoroutdoor.com - email: [protected]@condoroutdoor.com; Condor Outdoor Products - www.condoroutdoor.com, [protected], Fax: [protected]) to try to get more info on the company. I asked if Desert Deuces was still in business and was told that Condor had not been able to reach Desert Deuce customer service for quite some time and that their requests for payment on the outstanding balance for products shipped to Desert Deuce have gone unanswered. They were treating Desert Deuce MTO as having gone out of business.

To date, Desert Deuce charged my credit card and was paid $109.50, but I have not received any product, shipping notifications, refunds, company status info nor responses to my emails. When I call them their phone has a recording stating that the mail box is full and it cannot accept anymore calls. I have contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute with regard to the $109.50 charge from Desert Deuces.

Regards,

Any information on the owner of the company? Maybe there is a way to go after them in small claims court?

Around the same time I ordered around $90 of Condor gear. Got the same lame excuses over and over. Unfortunately I used PayPal and they will not go after DD. So I'm out the $90 with no product.
