Deposit Acct. / Fund Transfer
While visiting Phuket in Thailand I deposited a sum of money in a 3 month term deposit. I decided to leave Thailand before the term matured and so arranged with the Bank to transfer my money abroad at the end of the 3 month term. I signed a pre-authorization form and post dated transfer form as the bank instructed me to do. The Bank never made the transfer and I am unable to make the transfer online because I no longer have a Thai telephone number to receive a OTP (one time password) and am unable to submit a change of tel. number online to my current tel. number. I contacted the Bank and they said I would have to come back to Thailand to submit a change of Tel. number and when I asked why they didn't send the money they did not answer and instead ended the phone call abruptly with no notice.
