Unprofessional dentist. Dr. Susan Psikos is located 3334 North Central Avenue, Chicago. She suggested that I need crowns on 3 teeth, and she said that I don’t have any cavities. However, another dentist has told me last year that tooth 5 has one, and I have a pain on another tooth. One of the teeth that Dr. Psikos said needs a crown has never had a root canal. This means that I don’t need a crown on it. They said that they will charge me again for procedures that they have completed last year; they have already overcharged me for these procedures last year, more than it is stated on the billing statement from the insurance. The Delta Dental insurance said that they can not charge me again for something done last year. Dr. Psikos never accepted her responsibility for stealing money from customers that she is not supposed to take for procedures that are paid by the insurance. She says that customers are having discount. What kind of discount is that when customers pay money they are not supposed to. Dr. Susan Psikos charges insurance for dental work, and at the same time she charges people money that they are not supposed to pay because it is covered by the insurance. She doesn’t want to return the money to the customers that she has overcharged them. This dentist is a rip off, and a quick sell artist!

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST DENTAL PRACTICE WE'VE EVER BEEN TO AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE, THEY DO NOT USE CONSERVATIVE METHOD AND WILL ADVISE YOU FOR TREATMENTS THAT IS NOT NECESSARILY NEEDED!

Please do not go to this dentist!

I have enough horror stories about dentists. Too many detnists are dishonest . From now on people, make sure the denist show you the cavitity tooth or the tooth that need work phsycially from using a dentist mirror. Don't believe what they tell you. They will distory your good tooth cuz of their greed and don't give a [censor] about you at all.

I went to this dentist and started with $85.00 for an exam and bite wing exrays. I understand she wanted a full set- ended up $145.00 that day. Told me I had to cavities- but never understood my pain from the loss of a temp filling after a root canal some years ago. That was my rain reason for seeing the dentist.

I have no dental insurance and paid up front. The second visit I had the one cavity filled, but I thought she was going to fill the root canal tooth w/ a temp and take the mold. She said that would be last- not to mention my other 3 back teeth that lost composite bonds. She said nothing was wrong and she would put a cap on one near the front- without a root canal - as the x-rays showed no neverv damage this time as opposed to the first visit.

I could not get my point across the second visit- she was great on the first leading me to think the top teeth would be taken care of.

She started cleaning my teeth which I approved and said she should have done this the first visit. As she was cleaning she found 6 baby cavities -- a total of 8 now. These are all on the bottom and never showed on the x-rays.

These are $120 each.. and are not my initial problem. Paying out of pocket is better than dealing with the insurance - quick pay- quick scam. I tried explanng and she insisted on filling all these "baby" caveties rather than get me set for the crown I do need and no, not just putting a cap on another tooth when I'm complaining I cannot bite and I get pain on and off. I would be into her for over $8000.00 for caveites and still unable to bite and chew with my top teeth--- the ones Iwent to her for to begin with. Again, the first appt she made me believe she would fix the uppers, then suddenly found baby caveties that take 0 time to fill - easy money. Picking up my x-ays and moving on-- I do not recommend her- I was hurting when I went the first time-- the second time was my own fault for trusting her.
