Denny's kitchen closed for maintenance

The closest Denny's to me was closed at 10 PM for kitchen maintenance. North Canton, Ohio Everhard Rd. So called Arlington Road, Akron Oh Denny's for carryout at 10:30 PM for carryout and they don't take orders after 10PM on the phone. Told us to order online. Tried to order online but appetizer platter had limited choices. My husband drove there to place our order and they were out of mozzarella sticks for 2 days and new order wouldn't be there until 5Pm the next day. Really 2 Denny's in one day and no service. How do you operate a business like that? One extremely unhappy customer. Guess I can spend my hard earned money elsewhere since your businesses obviously can't serve the public!

Denny's service

I visited Dennys in Augusta GA the other day. I'm pregnant and I wanted breakfast food but my 2 kids did not so i was thinking that Dennys would be a good idea. Well when we walked in and the host grab the menu apparently it was time for the cook to leave so he was walking out of the restraunt. So then the host tells me we are going to have to wait a while because they dont have a cook and she dont know when the next one will be in. This is unacceptable. I have been a restraunt manager before and I get that people dont come to work on time but the cook stays until their relief gets there or the manager gets back there and cooks. I will never visit this place again. Bad business

Denny's the food

Tried to have a nice lunch with my husband. I work from midnight to8 am.
So it has d for us to go out at all..
I ordered the pick 3.. Omg is was terrible..
And I never complain. I've had a lot of crappie food and this by far should have never left the kitchen.
First they were out of what I wanted and so I got onion rings instead.
What a mess. No cheese in cheese sticks rings greasy and falling apart.
The boneless wings were eatible...
But only cause I was starving..
There was 3 of them..
Sux cause wanted to find a place different then the diner by my job.
But. Compared to what I got today..
That place is a gem...

Denny's service/cleanliness

Store location #7959, Kissimmee, Fl. I visited your store on 4/22 for breakfast and upon entering store was not greeted or welcome for a good 5 minutes. When attended to we were seated at a table that was just washed off but table top was total wet. We had to get napkins off another table to dry the table off because the waitress seated us and then walked away and did not have utensils or napkins on our table when seated. Upon ordering a simple breakfast, the order came out wrong, just like the customers around us complaining about their orders also. IMy and I order sausage links and when the breakfast came out and my wife and I looked at our sausage links we both said at the same time we are not eating these. I called the waitress over and asked her would she eat these sausage links and she stated would you both like bacon instead. We both got bacon and the bacon was cold and hard. We did not eat them. The worse part was when we were leaving the restaurant I decided to use the restroom. Upon entering the restaurant it smell terrible. As I walked inside there was water all over the floor and countertops. The toilets were both clogged up with toilet paper and human waste and pee on the floor around the toilet. This restroom was the worst I ever seen in any Denny 's I ever been in. My wife and I do enjoy eating at Denny's when we are traveling. I am sorry to say that we will probably not be visiting any more Denny's after this horrible experience. I believe your corporation should follow up this situation to correct the management and personnel programs at this location. Why not apply for the job of cleaning up the waste and pee since you seem to think that someone else should do it. You are disgusting. You should be cleaning washrooms as a career.

Denny's food

I was with a group of over 20 people and we went to Denny's to eat. It took over 2.5 hours to receive my food. When it came the pancakes were burnt and the hash browns were burnt too. Because it was so late at night, I attempted to eat some. I wasn't satisfied with my meal, I didn't bother to ask for new food because the waitress was overwhelmed with so many people to service. In addition, I didn't have time to wait for a replacement meal. My major complaint here is that on the way home, my stomach was so upset from the food. As a result of eating at Denny's, I spent two days in the bathroom. I couldn't do anything on Saturday. My daughter who had the same thing I had got sick too. She was throwing up. Also, a couple of the people who had ate there got sick too. The Denny's I ate at is located at 34725 Euclid Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094. Restaurant number 7937. Phone 440-942-0193.

Denny's the food/waitress

Me and my husband and our3 boys went to have dinner. I ordered a bacon burger and let me say it was the worse terrible disgusting burger I ever had. It was an old patty and with a burn flavor. I was still in Denny's when I started feeling sick. I did not feel like complaining because there was a lot people eating and was trying to avoid a scene. My 11 yr old was ignored by the waitress as he spoke. Each one of our kids ordered what the wanted and each time one of them ordered she ask us if it was ok. I assured her that they knew what they wanted but she seemed bothered. The table was taped up as the tape was supposed to hold the table together.our dinner was 55 and we still left her a 10 tip. My kids did not receive everything at once. Our drinks came 2 min before our dinner and at the time it was my family and I saw another family there to. The whole experience was just so awful I have never done a complaint on any restaurant before but because we were treated not well and the food was terrible I couldn't just blow this off. I'm already in the beginning stage of food poisoning and that really upsets me because know one should have to go through what we had to experience. I hope to hear from someone in regards to this complaint. I can't stress enough on how bad it was all the way around!

Denny's employees

I visit your college park Maryland Dennys on numerous occasions i observe two employees smoking marijuana in the back of the building three or four times that night it appeared to be a manager and a dishwasher I was in the restaurant ask what the manager's name was I was told by a surfer named Alyssa the manager's name was Daniel Costello the dishwashers name was Darnell Berenger this location I have visited on numerous occasions seeing the same employee smoking marijuana on duty they also were accompanied buy a black female I asked the server Alyssa what her name was she was smoking marijuana as well her name was marshae they all three appeared High on duty me and my family observe them on numerous occasions going outside numerous times this behavior is very unprofessional and no customer should have to smell marijuana on employees thank you

Denny's a waitress named abby harassing my wife

On 4-13-2018 my wife walked into a Denny's restaurant on 1st Avenue and 148th in Burien and a waitress that claims to be the manager there followed her into the bathroom and harassed her about buying something or she's calling the police on her for using the bathroom so Abby told her that she was not allowed to come back inside Out restaurant otherwise she will call the police none of this ain't the first time we've had to deal with this I went to the general manager twice now both time I thought it was resolved because the second time the actual manager that was on shift I had a change of attitude towards us but apparently it didn't get to Abby there is no signs posted saying restrooms are for customers only and there is a statue out there stating that people can use the bathroom where they choose if it's not posted and I can even give you. RCW code for that now either Abby gets an attitude adjustment and leave my wife alone plus following her into the bathroom off my wife is using the bathroom that is actually pretty sick and I'm sure I can probably have her arrested for that so Peter something gets done about that otherwise I will file a lawsuit against this restaurant mostly I guess happy then I will make it known the way people in their tree customer and I won't have the business ran into the ground basement people do not like going to a restaurant where the people get harassed or treated poorly just because somebody go down and use the restroom so please email me with good decision you want to do on this had s l s m i t h 98374 at gmail.com I will be waiting for an answer if I do not receive anything back from you guys within the next 72 hours I will be going down to the Supreme Court and I will be filing a lawsuit against this Denny's restaurant thank you and have a nice day

Denny's no service.

After I was seated, it took more than 10--15 minutes for anyone to even take my order or to get me a glass of water.

On top of that, not one waiter stopped to check up on me for more than 2 hours.

It was the first time I've left a Denny's without leaving a tip. I just didn't know who my waiter was this time!

I've been coming to this particular Denny's for more than 20 years and I demand a little more respect and appreciation.

On top of that, when I asked for the 800 phone number, I got the wrong one! Isn't that supposed to be basic information?

Denny's gravy

The white gravy that is now being served tastes gross and is not white gravy. Bring back the old gravy that actually tasted like gravy! I have been coming here for years and I have never had gravy like this. When I asked about if the gravy had changed, I was told yes it had. They went from a powder gravy to gravy that is made with milk. The powder gravy was gravy and should be brought back immediately!

Denny's food, service and lack of management

2/24/2019 @ 10pm pst. Restaurant
Was empty. My friend and I another couple. They were sitting at another table. Two waitress and one manager. Order burger and then a nacho plate and one order to go when the food arrived my nachos were horrible they were not meat it was chili sauce and they were gross. The waitress looked hungover her hair was not combed her eyes were black and out her makeup was all messed up she didn't look put together at all it made me very uneasy about eating there manager did take the nachos off the bill the bill came to $26 and some change along with also the to-go meal which was a french toast hash browns toasted hash browns and something else i'm not sure what it was but there was no hash browns and while we were waiting which took an enormous amount of time was the two waitresses in the manager were sitting debating in talking very loud about how horrible corporate is how horrible it is to work there how horrible that they just can't seem to work there they didn't like working there their backs hurt their bodies hurt their this hurts that hurts it showed very disrespectful towards the denny's corporation in the brand that it's stands for i've been in customer service all my life and that is one thing that turns a customer off is talking bad about the company you work for even if you do don't do it in front of customers in the manager was going along with it which seemed very disrespectful to begin with so i'm demanding that the food be replaced not with the coupon but my actual money back because I will never go to denny's again that would at least that location that it was disgusting it was rude and it was just unprofessional bottom line and as much as it cost nowadays to go to denny's used to be affordable but no it's not but I get it I really truly do i'm 52 and I understand i've been going to denny's on my life but it's just unfortunate that you have employees like this it's just disgraceful thank you janine tedesco

Denny's sanitation

The workers are dragging around a dish cart that has a horrible odor coming from it while people are eating and germs are flying around the whole restaurant and its a very unpleasant smell and none of the employees seem to think this is an issue, but I do. Also the tables are being wiped down with the same germs table to table they're not using cleaning spray at all the restaurant just smells like dirty mop bucket.

Denny's service and food

We are touring the us for 3 weeks and could not wait to eat at dennys. Our last visit to a store was in orlando back in 2004 and it was great, sadly this visit was not
The service we received was sloppy to say the least. The food was no better. Fries were full of oil and only warm. The restaurant was almost empty when we entered at 6.30 in evening.
This was on 2/5/19. We have since covered over 2000 miles since then on our road trip but have not visited another of your locations due to this experience.

Denny's ua manager

Dorie yells at the employees when they do something wrong. She don't have no respect for her employee's. She does it right in front of customers. She should help her employees to do things correctly. If they mess up instead of getting upset and mad. She should talk to them and show them the correct way. One day she happy and the next day u dont know if she going to be evil.

I ordered delivery through the official online web page of denny's and filled in billing contact phone number and delivery contact phone number separately. The delivery used my billing phone number and couldn't reach me. I called the restaurant regarding redelivery. The waitress hanged up my call after told me they do not redeliver without even listening to my description of the case.

Denny's Online delivery

I placed an online order for delivery in hermitage pa and was never told they used a third party service to deliver. My order was placed at 2:37 on thanksgiving I have small children who were waiting to eat their holiday meal. I was told via confirmation the food would be there in 33mins. Also received a confirmation email stating food would be at my house at 3:56. It payed over $45 for a family meal. After over an hour wait I was told the driver could not be contacted and there was nothing they could do since it was a third party service. This was never advertised on the website. I had no knowledge of this policy. After speaking with the manager sarah and telling her I feel I deserved a discount because of this terrible inconvenience especially to my young children she proceeded to hang up the phone in my ear. I am very saddened by this horrible customer service and will never be giving my money to this wretched establishment again.

Denny's food

My family and i went to denny's today 10/2 9/2018 for breakfast. The waitress took forever, the hash browns were over cooked, my husband ordered the double berry pancakes and they did not add the bananas, the ham tasted like it was spoiled, the coffee tasted old. Service today was not good. Please fix this problem or get better staff and cooks cause it was terrible.

Denny's food mistakes

Good services but the food is lacking. Very small portions for a large price and forgetting items. We ordered the turkey dinner last night and got no cranberry side or choice of bread. They just gave us garlic bread. Mash potatoes were a little on the cold side. We love eating there every other week but lately, it has been one mistake after another or very little of anything on the plates.

Denny's take out order

On October 5, 20018 I placed a phone order per the attached receipt. While placing my order the person taking my order was very rude and did not know what was available on the menu. I inquired about what type of cheese I could select from for my burger, she said they only had American and cheddar cheese. Upon further inquiry I asked her if she could ask someone else, she placed me on hold for 5 minuets and came back on the phone reading a menu. When I inquired about which type of fries I could choose from, she informed me that there was only one kind (plain). I struck me as kind of odd because I frequent dennys quit often. She then told me my order would be ready in 15-20 min.
So I get to the restaurant and based on her voice I believe the same young lady asked my name, printed out my ticket and told me to have a seat my order would be ready soon. So I wait and now its more than the 20 min I was told over the phone. Another lady walks from outside with a Denny's take out bag in her hand and she hands the bag to the same young lady that printed my receipt. I overheard the lady that came in with the bag questioning why she had called her on the phone and asked her to bring the order back, that she was given the wrong order. The dennys worker takes the bag from the woman that came back to the restaurant and hands it over to me stating "Here is your order". I immediately told her I refuse to accept an order that has left the restaurant and placed in someone else's hands, and asked if she knew that what she had just done was against the law, and that she needed to make me a fresh burger. The dennys worker told me that she would not be making me another burger and the rest of my order would be ready soon (by this time Its well into 40 minutes since I placed my original order at 6:55 pm (see attached phone log). I asked to speak to the Manager
The manager then spoke with me very briefly and all she said was that she would take care of my order. In the meantime the lady who walked out with my burger also asked to speak with the manager because she said she was an Uber eats driver and her client was waiting for her food. She explained to me that when she came in to pick up the burger order for her client, the same young lady that took my order, picked up a bag right in front of her and took out the chicken strips and some other items and handed her the burger that was left in the bag. I am suspecting that the bag that she took the food out of was my original order. Mean while the Uber eats driver and I are waiting for our orders and began to witness this same dennys worker begin to harass an older lady and proceeded to tell the older lady that she refused to take her order. The older lady also asked for the manager and the manager told her that she would take her order with no explanation as to why this young lady who was working at dennys could not get her [censored] together.
So I finally get my order at 7:44 pm (see attached receipt). Head head home to take my parents their dinner. I get home and the Milshakes had melted down..whoever packed the bag put the ice cream for the apple crisp in the bottom of the bag, needless to say, it was also melted.

I have frequented this particular location over 23 years. I'm not certain that I can support this establishment anymore based on what I witnessed last night and I will also inform friends and family to stay away from the dennys on Mowry Avenue in Fremont ca.
The food was like warm and my parents did not enjoy their meal, shakes, or dessert. It's a shame especially because my parents are in their 80's. It took over an hour to receive such a simple order. That is shameful
