I was enjoying a nice freshly made meal of delimex chicken taquitos when suddenly, I bit into something hard. I found a bone in my chicken taquito. It was disgusting. It was in the last bite too... It makes me gag to imagine that I had to go through five of those before finding that bone.

Note: the first two pictures attached are a side by side size comparison of the bone that I bit into and a gummy bear. The third is a picture of a box of the taquitos.

I am passing no judgement on these taquitos at the time, but eat at your own risk.

Stealth Pilot, what are you, a freakin dog? because last time I checked, humans don't eat bones. And the last thing I want to find in my chicken taquitos is a dirty disgusting bone.

You must be stupid to base someone's intelligence off of their opinion about finding a bone in a taquito. Perhaps you should take a moment to consider the actual meaning of intelligence. It has to do with the ability to solve problems, not with the ability to come up with opinions that suite the taste of the majority. This is a legitimate complaint. Have you even had these taquitos before? In the middle there is soft, shredded, watered down chicken. Based on what I can tell from the production process, there should be little to no chunks, much less a chunk of bone. Still, I understand that when buying things from a box, I am taking the risk of encountering things that I might not want to encounter. I understand that the quality of the food must not be very high. but in the end, that is not the point I am trying to get across...
Point is, I could have choked on the bone. It could have torn my esophagus. Humans are not made to digest BONE. This is a health hazard! At this point, it has little to do with how nasty it might be to encounter a FREAKING BONE in my taquito... it's a matter of safety. If a 3 or 4 year old were to find that taquito, it could have been a matter of life or death.

On an added note, I consider this complaint to be the nicest possible reaction that I could have had after finding that bone in my taquito. Delimex is lucky, if I was some sue-happy liberal, I could have made an easy 5 grand by pretending to choke on it, or swallowing it and complaining of painful digestion problems.

Brenda -Agreed. Stuff does happen. And when it does, I believe in my right to refuse to buy the product, and I believe in the consumer's right to know of the events that occurred.
gkenigmatic - I'm glad that it was real chicken, but I'm afraid of what parts of the chicken.

We just ate some last night 5-16-22 and i took a tiny bite to find what i thought to be bone, showed my bf and he thought it was a one time deal or maybe hard tortilla. I attempted to eat another to which i found an even larger bone fragment and nearly broke my tooth. I have no idea what complication could come from this, but i fed them to my son too, who already has digestive issues. There should not be bone in our food. Dogs can die from bones in their digestive tract, im sure that is also likely not safe for humans.

With what you get in the large chicken taquito's NOW, a bone might be a welcome thing, because Delimex sure doesn't put anything else in them! Next time I'll buy some flour tortilla's, roll them up and bake them-it will taste the same!
