Del Taco could not get my order correct!

Been a long time fan of Del Taco. No more. The menu change really sucks and they deleted my favorite item: the basic Nachos item.

But...that's not all of it. First off...I'm an idiot. I was so mad at the service folks that I just drove away and let $11.08 on the table for my incorrect order.

I ordered: 2 Del Taco Tacos reading it right off the board. And, a shredded beef burrito. The guy taking the order thought I wanted two of the taco plates. O.k., we straightened that out I thought. Nope. I thought $11.08 was a little much, but I figured the burritto was going to be really good! I get to the window and pay. What they want to give me is a two taco PLATE and a burrito. How does one just order two freaking tacos? I said I wanted two tacos...guy taking the order hears: I want two two taco plates. What?

O.k., so I've just got back from a brutal hike in the mountains. I'm hungry and I cant' believe that I'm not understood. So I leave without taking the food or what I should have done...ask for a refund and go somewhere else.

That's it. I don't want it made right, because I don't deserve to have it made right. I should have just asked for a refund and let it go. Del Taco made an extra $11.08, but of course they lose about $400 a year in biz. It evens out I guess.

This happened at the Magnolia store in Santee if that helps.

Del Taco shorted food, no receipt, no change, laughed that I was just getting specials

Girl at Del Taco was laughing in the background that I was just getting the taco night specials. then she didn't give me any change and no receipt and said ok that's it thanks. It was only a penny change but I noticed she didn't seem to want to put my money in the cash register. I think she pocketed the money. Then I get home and find out they shorted me a taco and the hot sauce, which I specifically asked for one hot sauce packet per taco.

This shorting customers food is a long running scam at this location. They short customers food and then eat your stolen food during their break. Everyone working this shift has to be in on the scam and they split the food. I'm done with this location. It's the Diamond Bar Blvd Del Taco in Diamond Bar. STAY AWAY FROM! Del Taco Corporate doesn't want to hear about complaints and crooked operators.

Del Taco the customer service

Six thirty this am I went through the drive through to get food after pulling a all nighter at work I was shocked at the price to start with 25.55 for two meals and 4 soft. 4 hard and donut bites. I got home and was looking fo the donuts but figured I find them underneath the tacos but much to my did may they were never there. So I just called at 3:45 pm to see if I could get them or my money back and the person that answered the phone hung up on me didn't say a word just hung up. I'm a little upset about that.

Del Taco shorted me change

Del taco located at 13701 Roscoe Blvd, Panorama City, CA has been a nightmare.
I went to this drive through while on my way to get quarters for laundry, I got a lemonade just to get change for the quarter machine at my next stop. well, once I got to the quarter dispenser, I realized I was shorted by 10.00 and I immediately called and the girl who was at the drive through actually answered the call. She was very friendly and said she gave me the correct amount of change and I told her, that's not the case because I have no other cash on me but the 20.00 that I used at Del Taco, specifically to get change. She agree'd that she would count the money at the end of night and see if her drawer was off. Well, her promise was kept and the manager called me, apologized and said she would put my $10 in a safe with my name on it and it will be here when I return, I was thankful for them checking and their honesty.

well, 2 months later, yes I know that's awhile but I work allot and moved out of the city and just happened to be in the area and stopped by to get my $10 owed to me, which I was told would be in the safe waiting for me.
well, the girl at the drive through had no idea what I was talking about so I asked if I could speak to the manager. Manager on duty said he name was Carlos, I don't know if this is true or not because he was very reluctant to give it to me, by the way this took place on 10/20/18 around 3pm. Carlos comes to the window and just stares at me like I was crazy without saying anything. I said, Hi I have $10.00 in your safe that is owed to me, it should have my name on it, I wasn't given all my change the last time I was here. He said, no we don't have it. I said, can you please check you haven't looked. He say's no, its not here in the most cruelest demeanor as if I were lying. By the way, I was in the drive through because I had my friends 2 year old with me. Carlos told me that i needed to move from the drive through. I told him if he checks the safe, and gives me my money I would be happy to move other than that I was not. He was talking to the girl that was working the window and proceeded to talk about me using derogatory spanish words against me as a woman and black mixed as if I weren't there and didn't understand. At this point i was furious, this is when I asked him for his name and he wouldn't tell me. He said If I didn't leave he was going to call the police and I said, that would be great since you guys basically took my money . I honestly don't think Carlos understood half of what I said, he would ask the girl working the window to translate to understand and his english responses were very hard to understand.
Anyhow, he and his staff were talking to me super disrespectful telling me get out of the drove through and leave, I said if you give me the managers name i will consider it. I received a reply from the manager and he said, Carlos is my name and I asked his last name he refused and "I said that's fine can I please get a name and number to upper management? I was told "NO" leave now! I said I want to be able to contact a manager over you, please give me the info and he refused! finally, because I would not leave they took down my information and said they would have management contact me which has not happened.

This is all about principle, this location made a mistake not giving me my correct change which was an inconvenience and now that I went to claim it, they don't have it?! I was degraded and threatened to have the police called on me for asking for money that is rightfully mine, which at this point they have stollen.
Now, I am at work still upset by the choice of racial and derogatory words used by the manager referring to me to his employes and I will not let this slide at all.

Del Taco taco

Order number 11. Del Taco store number1187. Alamogordo, NM

Oct 21. 426 pm. Ordered 12 regular crispy tacos as I was expecting some family to come by for dinner and they had asked me to pick up a few tacos.

The service was super fast and I was the only car in the drive through. There were two cars in front of the restaurant. I got to the window and paid for my tacos and took them home. I Live 5 minutes from the store.

The first bite told us that the shells were stale. The crispy corn tortilla shells tasted almost Dusty and moldy. It was hard to get the taste out of our mouths. We ate 3 tacos, one each, out of the Dozen and the shells tasted so bad I decided to email you about it.

Everyone was in agreement that the shells were either very old or stale but they tasted Dusty and moldy. Did not see any mold on them but they tasted pretty horrible.

I have eaten at that restaurant previously and I do not remember the tacos having such old days Ting shells. Not sure if they have just been there awhile, if it is a storage issue, but I would not be in a hurry to purchase any more from this restaurant.

So bad...figured you should know.

Del Taco store closed

The del taco on beach and Cerritos was closed at 12:11 when we showed up for another late night snack and it clearly states on apple maps says u close at 1:00am.
On the trip about 10 minutes before I purchased a strawberry lemonade and it was given to me unstirred with all the syrup clumped at the bottom with only one strawberry. I have never received a strawberry lemonade from del taco in such a condition.

Del Taco double del hamburger

I haven't had a Double Del Hamburger for approximately 25-30 years. I ordered one because it is the ONLY Hamburger on the Menu. I was very disappointed with the burger! Not enough meat, I could barely taste the meat and it was very dry, mostly the bun! It tasted so bad, that I didn't even want to eat it. And the French Fries were over cooked!
I worked at Del Taco when I was 19 years old, I'm now 60, and this Double Del Hamburger was NOTHING like the ones I used to make back then! AND, WHY isn't there any other Hamburgers on the Menu?
A TOTAL WASTE OF MY MONEY!

One of the older women at deltaco on 14301 Clark Ave Bellflower, CA 90706 United States has facial hair on her upper lip I ordered my food Inside the restaurant and the lady with the mustache took my order I could not understand her what's so ever but I managed to get my food which didn't matter cause after seeing her mustache I was extremely discussed and horrified I actually threw my food in disgust I asked to see the manager and I think she said she was the manager I'm not certain since I couldn't understand what she was saying so I just left the name on her badge was Manuela

Del Taco service/ and the store

Honestly I've never done a complaint for anything but the Del taco on 5180 S. Fort Apache road has the most terrible service and common sense I have ever seen. The guys bathroom has been out of service, and the girls bathroom is just horrid. The toilet paper holder is broken, has a terrible smell, and realizing it know, there has been 1, 000 of strangers hands touching the toilet paper and I have to wipe with that? Hell no! There's also the workers. Some of them were talking [censored] in Spanish, and one of them got mad for being told to clean the oil spills and such. Then the cook dropped fries in the same basket and oil as fish. Horrible experience and terrible smell. The manager runs that store needs to do a better job and actually run it. All of this happened on a Wednesday(10/10/18) morning. Next time I want to come in and actually see that the bathrooms are fixed, the workers aren't rude, and the horrid smell is gone. That's it.

Del Taco paid for upgrade on fiesta pack and was given wrong

I was suppose to get the upgrade on the fiesta pack to get the The del tacos and i wasnt given that i was given the regular tacos . If i was charged 5 more dollars for upgrade . I would like a reinbursement on my order or a good del taco credit . I had to orders from del taco one regular fiesta pack and the other upgraded del tacos . I figured the misplaced the tacos in one of the packs but i checked both and they were both same types of tacos.

Del Taco tacos fiesta pack

Last night I bought my family a fiesta pack, when I opened it up the tacos were so small, hardly anything in them. Mostly just the shell, we were very disappointed. I have eaten your tacos many times and it seems like it gets smaller and smaller every time. Nothing like you show on the commercials. What is up with that? I don't know if I will ever go back. Just thought you should know.

Del Taco service and the cleanliness of the restaurant.

There was a puddle right where you would stand to order your food. The back where they prepared the food was a mess. The drink area also very dirty. The service was not good they were not busy but still wouldn't give me their full attention. So they of course messed up our order. It was a bad experience going to this del taco on Arlington and Rutland in Riverside California.

Del Taco pollo asado fresca bowl

Ordered a Pollo Asada Fresca Bowl anf it was received with rotten avocado. The ladies were very friendly and offered to replace it. Once the avocado was replaced I began to eat my dinner. The black beans were dry and chewy, rice was dried out, chewy and crunchy, veggies were warm, chicken was dry. Overall a horrible dinner. Other food was adequate but not amazing. Have been to this location many times and never had this horrible of food. Very upset..

Del Taco queso nachos

I order a large Queso Nacho, a large fries and two mini strawberry shakes. when I recieved my order the queso on the nachos were cold and when I asked one of the workers, she responded saying "Do you want me to just put more queso on top or do you want me to make it over" I asked if she can make it over. Once the new one was done this is what I was presented with. See photo attached. Where is the queso, the meat, the presentation? This is unacceptable. This is my first time eating at this location and I'm disgusted by the food and service

Del Taco customer service. the management refused to let me use the bathroom.

I went into del taco and had purchased some donut bites. I asked if I could have a coin to use the outside bathroom. The cashier told me they were out of coins. So I went outside to eat my donut bites on one of the outside tables that are right next to the bathrooms. As I was sitting there I see the cashier go to the bathroom and insert a coin to use the restroom. So since I seen that she was using the restroom I waited for her to come out and when she did I asked her if I could please use the bathroom because I needed to pee really bad. And she told me no.. I had to relieve myself really bad and ended up peeing myself.

Del Taco dine in at del taco

I came in today to Del Taco for a quick bite which is so called fast food. My experience ended bein almost a 15 min wait on 4 tacos. After I had ordered I had noticed there were 5 vehicles aproximately in the drive thru after I ordered. All those vehicles had gotten there order but I had still been waiting on mine so I got up to ask because the person who ordered before me as well was pretty upset that they were still waiting on theirs. So I got up asked and I had to shout 3 times excuse me please and finally I got acknowledged to just let me know it was coming. No apology no sense of reason to why but more than a careless rude attitude. Seems as if their young first Job and dont care.

Del Taco grilled chicken tacos

We visited a Del Taco in Centennial, CO Sept. 15, had 2 Street ground beef tacos and a diet coke. Then tonight Sept. 16 we stopped at Del Taco at your new location in Castle Rock, CO. We ordered 4 grilled chicken burritos and 2 ground beef tacos and they said they did not have ground beef so we ordered grilled chicken street tacos.

At the Centennial Del Taco the ground beef street tacos were so good. They were on crunchie shells with/ ground beef, fresh lettuce and tomatoes. So tonight as we visited the Castle Rock Del Taco we were disappointed that you didn't have any ground beef but when we got home, the 4 grilled chicken burritos were cold including the chicken and the grilled chicken grilled tacos were on soft shells and had no lettuce or tomatoes. They were terribly small fit in the palm of my hand. Our order was a little over $15.00, My husband and I were to disappointed with our dinner. Why wasn't the grilled chicken street tacos like the ground beef street tacos. This was terrible. We had to warm the burritos in the micro wave before we ate them.

Del Taco food and cashier

At first I ordered four of the veggie burritos, two cali steak and guac burritos, one without guac, and the epic cars asda burrito. By the time I got to the window to pay I had ordered the veggie burritos wrong. I asked if they can take it off, the cashier said no because we already made them. I asked if she could just take off two and she did. I then came around again and ordered the veggie burritos I wanted right. I asked that they take off the lettuce, guacamole, and green sauce instead of red. When I went through, paid and received the food. They did not remove anything. They repeated the order back to me three times and then they rushed to get the food out the window. It seems as though they gave me the burritos I asked to take away from my previous order.

Horrible service .
Went through the Drive- Thru . I ordered 5 items 2 of those which I was very specific about . It took 15 minutes to get my order . If that wasn't annoying enough once I get to work and got the chance to eat I realized that they got my order wrong! I paid extra for avocado and to not get it ?! Annoying! For the other item it was completely wrong ! I call and talk with the GM (Mike) who promises a refund when I go back and said he will write my name down so if he is not there some other manager can help . I return same day much later just to be told that they can't help me . And was told to come in the next day . I'm not from around here so that wasn't possible . But I was able to come back the day after . So I go in to store and explain the problem again just to be told again that they couldn't do anything because Mike wasn't there . I ask for any other manager . At this point I'm so mad . I just want my damn refund . Where are your managers ?! Shouldn't there be a manager present at all times ?! Horrible experience . If a customer comes in with a problem. It's your job to fix it. Problem is still unsolved.

Del Taco close early

I bough some tacos and a drink at 9:30 pm and the cashier told me I could not eat inside because they were closing
Closing times at the door said is at 10 pm
I had to live not to happy about it
Could be discrimination because I just went back and there are some new costumers rating their food at the table
I will find out who is the owner or manager and complain.
I did not find a telephone number posted for the manager This is at del amo and pioneer is now 8/28/2018 at 9:49 pm
