Defective Acer Laptop / Company sold defective laptop

I bought a new Acer Aspire Laptop in Singapore airport at the computer shop mentioned above. The staff did not perform the standard check on the laptop and when I returned home to Indonesia, I discovered the laptop to be defective. They refuse to send a new laptop to my home until I ship the old one back. Problem is that I depart to Japan in a week and need he new laptop. They should honor the customer by sending the new laptop and ot wait until the defective one is received. I want everyone to know about this business in Changi and warn them that they do not practice good business ethics. I will file as a many complaints as I can before I depart for Japan to ensure I get my message to as many people as I can
