1 NJ, United States Review updated:

It is a scam to get your credit card number. They do not verify any information of the account holder. They will ask you for your credit card number. Do not give it to them. I was informed that this was for a hard core porn site. They will try to embarrass you into not talking to your bank!! Call you bank immediately.

I have a pending charge for $39.95 - cancelled my check card. I think I fell for the "we need the acct number to check on it" bit- but I did cancel it right away. They told me the user name was "Jane Rank". My phone rep was Neth Smith. Smith, right. A supervisor was talking with another client on the phone, of course. A supervisor would not call me back. I could not hold the laughter in when she told me if I made this complaint that I would never be able to order from adult sites in the future. Promise???? So, do not even bother to call them - just call your bank or card company and cancel!

Dear Sir could you cancel the membership I have been charged with. On my Debit card statement the description of the company is listed as DEEMEMBERS.COM. The amount was for $1.00 US
The last 8 digits of my Visa card are 2610 3368 My name is J M MARTEN
I may have used the email address [protected]@blueyonder.co.uk There is a small possibility that I used [protected]@yahoo.com instead of the previous email address, as I do not remember with absolute certainty.
I regret I did not make a note of the password I was supplied with when commencing my membership.

If you could inform me of the cancellation as soon as possible at either email address I would be most grateful.
    Sincerely

    J M MARTEN

My credit card company (Paypal through GE Money Bank) called last month to ask if I had made any charges online within the last 24 hours. I told them no. They immediately canceled my account and re-issued a new card.

I still have no idesa what this was about, but apparently the credit card company had a numberf of charges posted for $1 for amny of their customers, and also a lot of bad attempts. The rep told me that some company was trying to verify that my credit card was valid.

This is definitely a scam. The posts above said this is some adult website provider. I rarely go for that type of stuff.

Noticed a fradulent charge for $ 39.97 on a credit card statement for non other then DEEMembers.com. My card service was very helpful and caught a charge for last month that I missed. I was informed Authorities are investigating now. I am concidering a Law Suit against the source, once I find out for sure. A class action suit would be better. I'm contacting a friend of the family who is a Judge in New York, Just to find out how to do this and make it hurt these thieves. I welcome any commets and stories about your problems with this individual (.com). Now you can start having a better day.
