DealExtreme missing item

Deal extreme sucks! After the 45 day paypal complaint period, you can no longer contact dealextreme customer service to resolve the problem. I ordered 2 items and only got 1. I'm out $25. If you attempt to log in to customer service after 45 days of purchase, you get "the page is temporarily unavailable" do not buy from dealextreme!

DealExtreme I will not purchase again, since technically, they did steal $5 from me

I ordered $5 worth of small items on there. I received an email saying it was backordered and they did not know when they would get more. Not wanting to wait for and indefinite amount of time, I canceled my order, expecting a refund. They canceled the order, but never issued a refund. It's only $5, so I won't cry. But, they did steal my money, and despite I do know people that have EVENTUALLY gotten items from them, I will not purchase again, since technically, they did STEAL $5 from me. Why would I trust them?

DealExtreme I try to contact customer service via live chat, there is no one help

I have ordered on dealextreme before, have good experience .but this time .I try to place an order on dealextreme.com, before checkout I encountered some issue. I try to contact customer service via live chat, there is no one help me, alway show : Please wait for a site operator to respond.

I was buying from dealextreme.com continually since now and every time it takes more and more and more time for handling...
now I'm waiting for the third month so that my order would be shipped ! And they don't say a word until you start to complain continually, then they start to tell wait another week and stuff like that... terrible service !

DealExtreme no delivery

On February 4th I ordered 2 SD cards & paid using Paypal. Dealextreme promised me a delivery in maximum 2 weeks.
On march 5th, a month after paying the goods I still had nothing at my door so I started a claim on Paypal. After that I got this email from DX:

Dear customer,
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. But we can not refund you because you have opened a dispute, in that case we can not operate your order, So would you please close the dispute firstly? Then tell us, we will refund you ASAP.

I was stupid enough to believe them & cancelled my claim at paypal.
That was the worse thing that I should have done because now, march 28th, I still have nothing.
Only thing I received was some corrupt email from DX:

Dear Customer,
Sorry for the delay.
Kindly inform you that your order was shipped on with tracking number RT130385554HK .The status of tracking number will not update so soon.
If after 4 weeks from shipment the order still doesn't arrive, you may contact us and we will follow up on the package.
Hope the items will be reached you smoothly and safely. We appreciate you can wait patiently.
If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

If I check the tracking, item was not send on 2/23/2012 but on March 10th.
Today I still have nothing in my mailbox & did not receive any goods.

Be careful who you do business with because a company like Dealextreme is far away & I costs you a lot of money arguing on the phone.

I forgot to say that I got my money back because Paypal give it back to me, not that they refund me on their own accord.

I was met with the same thing. But lucky for me, when they asked me to close the dispute, I told them no and to ask them to refund me through the dispute. After which they tried to BS their way through by saying that Paypal doesn't allow it. I was surprised to hear that and made a call to Paypal for confirmation. After the call, I did what Paypal asked me to do, "You should escalate the claim and ask them for partial refund. They will be able to refund by that."

Thus I escalated and got my money back.

I think they use the same ruse on every customer asking for refund. "Close the dispute and we will refund ASAP." which they had never once fulfill their promise. You can google around and read all about it. Most closed the dispute and never got back their money nor their items.

DealExtreme order not arrived

I ordered a 3 products from dealextreme which arrived with two of the items missing. I sent them a complaint to their customer service dept and after a few days they responded. We went back and forth with them requesting that I go to the post office to see if they took the items, all their requests I did. In the end they offered me a store credit. I told them to please just send me the items I ordered which they said they would. I was notified by email that my order was shipped on 1/31/12 and would take up to 7 to 10 business days to arrive. After 14 days with no arrival, I sent another complaint to them with no reply as of this date 2/24/12. Now 18 business days with no shipment and no reply to my complaint as of yet.

Hello, My above complaint "order not arrived" Dealextreme by Thomas LaPointe about my two items I ordered that didn't arrive after 14 days has just arrived after 20 days of shipment. DealExtreme items wont be sent, no refund, no communication

Well the customer service in DealExtreme is bullcrap from the deepest levels of hell. Ordered 31.1.2012, they could not send the package (backorder) so I asked for some info to keep me posted. 1 week passed, nothing. 2 weeks passed, nothing and during that time I opened a few customer service tickets. I cancelled the order, but gave DX 24 hours to give me ANY info on this matter to save the order. Wanna guess how fast I received the info? Well.. until this day it haven't arrived so its a little more than 3 days and counting. Order is now cancelled, money haven't been refunded yet, well that didn't surprise me whoopdi doo. I wasn't like I bought one small product, so I think it would interest DX to even answer to the customer and keep em posted.

I wrote a review about the items I ordered and basically told the same thing as above in the review. That review got declined by DX pretty fast, but still nothing towards the customer. I am doing my part and telling every friend and every guy in the boards I hang in to avoid DX and I hope DX loses at least some customers that they don't deserve.

DealExtreme never recieve my item

Never been able to provide me a tracking number when i ask for since i did not receive my purchase, instead i was told to pay extra $5 either for my purchase to resent or cancellation of order. I wrote email that i am not agreeable to it and i never get any reply and my money had never been refunded even till now since sept 2011.

This is the first time and will be the last i will buy from dealextreme,

If you ever want to buy from dealtrextreme, think twice. It SUNKS !

Were same with me.. they SCAM US! Trust me! I had ask for dispute via PayPal but this evil DX not reply anything until now since 6/2/2012.. and without any authorization they put 'canceled' to the status after they suck mmy money.! My first order was done using direct VISA (no PayPal), the payment was successfully completed but they hold my order and asking me few sensitive document such as a photo of my VISA, my ID...this is weird! so I refused to do that! And they hold my order. I asked them for refund, but they tricked me by a FAKE refund. I got refunded at 1 Feb 2012 but at the same day they charged back my VISA without my authorization nor acknowledgement. I just realized that was 'unknown' transaction with the same amount of the refund value when I called my issuer bank of VISA, they confirmed that amount was charged bt Dealextreme.com! UNAUTHORIZED!
I'm really disappointed! No body can't stop them from do a fake business and sucking money illegally from customers! At their customer FORUM, they blocked me from posting my complaint and telling others about their SCAMMING, and so many fake 'customers' at the same date that show 'solved' issues-no recently posted REAL customers that i read before! They will delete it after a moment!
DON'T put your risk at Dealextreme! Don't even buy anything from their site! I lost USD 71.12! So sad that no refund until now! Please do something! how to stop this DX-DAMN Chinese Mafia from sucks money over the globe!

the same problem in El Salvador. I was waiting for my packet when I came to pick up the packet I only received haft of my order, also they send a post card telling me that I had to wait for the rest of my order . unfortunately 2 moths later I'm still waiting for the rest of my order... what a mistake, never again, I wont advise you to do not order from them, instead of that, if you don't care if they take your money for nothing, Do not place order from DX

I have the same problems in the Netherlands: My first four orders arrived. After that I made the mistake place five more sepperate orders. The orders did not arrive. A few orders where according to the tracking of dealextreme "send back"". Another order arrived according to their tracking system but it did not arrive at all. First I contacted Dealextreme but the only advice they gave me was to wait. A few orders were already two months on the way. Normally you can via a tracking system see were the delivery is on hold or were a mistake is made. However Dealextreme is not able to track anything by there sol called "tracking system''. After I told them that I was going to file a claim with Paypall I got e-mails that they creditited the money to my Paypall account. You can already gues, nothing was credited at all. I filed five claims with Paypal but only three were accepted because the other orders were done more than 45 days ago. And that is exactly what Dealextreme is aiming for. They try to let you wait more than 45 days and after that... your money is gone. I have job and I did not lose hundreds of dollars. My advise: Do not order from Dealextreme!

Exactly the same story for me: I never received my orders (only the first 3 orders) despite the tracking numer you could not see what was going wrong with the shipment. According to the trackingnumber the item arrived at my home country but where it arrived was not possible to see. On one ocasion the item was send back (reason and location unknown) they asked me to pay 5 dollar for the resend. On two other orders the item was for some reason not possible to deliver despite the fact that there was always somebody at my home. Our local post company did not know about any package from Deal Extreme. Deal Extreme also put the responsibillity of the shipment by me and never took any action to deliver to me what I paid for. I made the mistake to place more orders after I received the first 3 orders. Never again Deal Extreme!

DealExtreme broken goods, delay shipment, missing goods, you find it all

I'm very unhappy with the results of buying from DealExtreme.com ! In the end I pay MORE fot fake, broken and not as shown in the on line catalog NOT to MENTION all BELOW.

* I waited very long! Exactly 30 days to get to my hands and I pay DealExtreme all my items on the 13 October 2008.!
* Still ONE item (SKU 2838 ) NOT YET ARRIVED to ME: USB Handheld Trackball Compact Mouse - in my invoice is number: 02838 ( x 1 Pending $7.80)
* I was obliged to pay 25 % the total value of SHIPMENT of my order here, plus 20% of total value for IMPORT purposes! GIFT = seems that means its from CHINA and you must pay shipment plus import taxes ALL TOGETHER 45% ! Not a GOOD DEAL! Not at all!
* One item here is BROKEN (*photos ( bluetooth-broken.jpg (image/jpeg) 228K

DealExtreme fruad conned me to buy fake goods

First of all the customer service at dealextreme is dredfull iv been trying to get my problem sorted out for almost 5 months now its a joke!

iv placed alot of big orders with dealextreme drop shipping and now because of them agreeing my last orders have been took by customs and confiscated which they now refunded me for my paypal account has now been banned!

now because my first orders going back almost 5 months now still has not been delivered and the tracking is showing the same progress and the orders they refunded me for because of customs confiscating them it does not take much understanding that all my other orders that i have placed that have not been delivered have also been confiscated by customs!

iv had to refund all my buyers by paypal because they have not recieved there items i bought from dealextreme i just want them to refund me for all items that have been confiscated by customs which i may add is everyone of my orders!

the ticket system is a joke all i get back from it is one order being checked and to say wait abit longer... its been nearly 5 months i dont think its coming! and the live help is a waste of time as well nothing gets sorted after hrs of talking to the customer service agents i just want what is owing me back iv had to pay people there money back for items that they should have been delivering they have already refunded me £1000 for the last few orders i made with them after they admitted customs have confiscated them so please now refund me for the rest of my orders that have been sent months before them ones that have not come!
i used the remove logos in my orders and this proves it dont work.
dealextreme owe me around £4500 i really carnt belive a site as big as this and has been going for years that only accept paypal as a payment is risking conning buyers into buying fake goods. the controllers ect.. i bought showed them plain and blank with no logos on them but you have shipped me items that are 100% copying the original sony and microsoft product even down to the packaging which i the buyer had no idea was being sent out its wrong and illegal in china and the u.k!

It's more than two months that I haven't received one of the stuff that I ordered from this seller. the customer services are too slow to respond and they are just deceitful. they keep asking me to wait for a couple of days, but the stuff is not yet arrived until this day, no tracking system, no information about the good. I also have asked for refund, but they did not respond. I wonder about how to send this seller to the court. I would be so happy if the person behind this scam getting caught.

I purchased 3 refurbished nds lites and only 1 was actually functional. 2 was obviously defective and returned. I was surprised that after I returned the 2 units they sent me one back in about 2 wks which for china is fast. I notified them that I am lacking one unit and they alleged that I didn't send them both units? I forwarded a copy of the postal receipt as requested and the weight indicates that 2 units was packaged and I also sent copies of a correspondence indicating that I actually tried to repair one of the units and purchased a battery that was absent in one of the units and was going to keep it but the screens was defective. to make a long story short the initial person handling my case resigned and the person I am working with states he can't do anything but wants to give me store credit for $30.00 and I paid $96.00 for each unit. see photos and receipt. the hong kong package photo indicates the weight of 1 unit (364 grams) and my receipt indicates the weight of 2 units minus a battery (1 lb 10.20 oz which is equivalent to 742.76 grams). does anyone have any suggestions other than never to buy refurbished items?

I am very satisfied with deal extreme. their prices are unbeatable (free shipping), and their service is top quality. their products are also very good. I ordered 6 items but one of them did not come in the package, I contacted dx and soon they resent the missing product.

Their representatives are very kind and helpful. although shipping takes a while, it is to be expected because 1) shipping is free, and 2) it is being shipped from hong kong.

I would be more than happy to recommend dealextreme to other customers!

After I have ordered my product (a flashlight) I have waited 7 days, and nothing happened. on their web site, on the status it says waiting for seller. well... my credit card is already charged, and I have doubts now that this company will ever ship me anything. so I canceled my order, and bought it through a different store, although paid $15 more. I did write them e-mail 3 days after I ordered the product, but no response till today. this is a bad business, and I have already paid them 52 bucks for nothing!

I've bot an item in dealextreme and I tried to cancel on the next day and they said it wasn't possible to cancel that. ok, I accept their response. but it's been more than a month and I simply got no item and there's no how to track it too. that item cost me u$99, 00 and they stole this money from me. please don't buy from this website. they are not serious, as you can see i'm not the only one complaining here about them. this is the order number [protected]

Let's hope that you will always buy products without much problems with them. Either you are one of them, or you still haven't met with a problematic item. I have been their customer since 2017, after 1 spoilt item, and I got a threatening reply to my ticket when I asked for replacement or refund, I am no longer their customer. (Mind you, they at first refused to help, and after I opened Paypal dispute, they start threatening.)

I don't think threatening your customers are how business should operates.

DealExtreme wrong/missing items

I ordered 6 x cap lights from Dealextreme China on 28th January 2011. They sent me a USB cable ? After 3 weeks waiting for their response they confirmed shipping of the correct order. I received today only one of the six items ordered. I imported from other businesses in China with no problem. Do not do business with DEALEXTREME CHINA !

DealExtreme service

THIEVES. If you've been ripped off by DX, like thousands of others, join my group or page. This is my only option since DX stopped responding and it's too late for Paypal to do anything. I want to hear your story about how they let you down or ripped you off. With enough participation we can turn this into a class-action lawsuit and recover our money.

This company makes cheap goods available because they can offset the poor profit margin by simply not sending out 5% of their orders, and pretending it got lost in the mail until the 45-day validity period in PayPal expires, and then never refunding. This leaves you in a position where you can do absolutely nothing to get your money back. Here is a list of their dirty tricks:
- ALL orders are paid up front, but DX doesn't necessarily even have the product! Even whenn it says "In stock" or "temporarily sold out" they simply DO NOT AND MAY NEVER HAVE THE PRODUCT. You are LUCKY if you ever get it. You will NEVER get it in the time they specify, if at all. If they never restock the product, you will NEVER get your money back! There are many products advertised as "in stock" on DX that they have not in fact had for years! Most online stores WILL NOT ACCEPT your money if they do not have a product available, because it just means they will have to refund you. But DX doesn't do this because THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF REFUNDING YOU, unless you lodge a complaint with Paypal within 45 days. Since most orders take longer than this to arrive, most of DX's customers never do this in time!
- A variation on the above trick, your order will go through, and then the order will say "Pending" - leading you to believe that it will be packaged shortly. But items can be "pending" for more than 12 months! By this time, there is no way for you to get your money back, and DX will ignore you if you try to complain.
- Most of dealextremes tricks rely on you waiting for the 45 day period without lodging a PayPal dispute. This even includes being told that they will or have sent you a refund or replaced the item, then you wait, but there is no refund, but if its been 45 days, you are screwed! They will tell you ANYTHING to keep you on the hook until the 45 days are up, and then they don't care.
- If you ever point out that you have been ripped-off by DealExtreme on their forums or messageboards THEY WILL BAN YOU so that you cannot tell others. So far they have locked 11 of my accounts for attempting to tell others of these dirty tricks.
- DealExtreme is WELL KNOWN to all the scam-reporting websites on the internet. If you don't believe me, just google "dealextreme scam" you will get hundreds of hits from various scam-reporting websites containing basically the same story from ripped-off customers.
- If you haven't been ripped-off yet, it's only a matter of time, there is NO protection for you and the support staff are not interested in refunding money.

I have gone to a lot of effort to start this cause against DealExtreme because I cannot stand that they are able to get away with this, and their customers and potential customers need to be aware of how they operate.

DealExtreme are Absolutely thieves and rip-off artists!...I got 3 things from them and ALL were broke! At least they did in fact send the items... Now I think what makes me the most angry is that they have a "RETURNS" tab on their site, but if you ever try to use it, you'll find out it is inoperative. After asking for every piece of information, including telling you to take pics of the items, the SUBMIT button will not work!

Then they have the gall to email you and ask for a review of the broken item! I gave a review explaing everything wrong with it (In this case a poorly made famiclone with built in games that won't play or output video) and Big Surprise, the SUBMIT button wouldn't work...So I emailed them back (Mailer demon failure)...They don't want to hear your complaints. Avoid them like the plague!

And to those who think a few complaints is OK, like it doesn't matter if a company rips off a few people as long as most are satisfied...How will you feel when it is YOU who are ripped off?

And if I have a complaint with someone like Amazon, they do not have a broken system designed to P*ss people off further when they try to complain legitimately...They would sac-up and handle the complaints, not give the run around on purpose!

All I can say is if you see something you like on DX, then order it from someone reputable...Someone else!

Yes, they sometimes carry cheap items, but you get what you paid for.

i don't work for DX and in fact, I work for another eshop. i just want to correct some of the "fact" that you have stated here:

1. any merchant who use PayPal has no choice but to accept payment first. this is because paypal does not provide function like google checkout or amazon, whereby you will only be billed when the product is shipped. if you want to find out why paypal doesn't offer such good function, ask paypal yourself! if you want to know why we don't use google checkout or amazon, that is because they don't accept international merchant like us! For your information, paypal is the cheapest option around and all savings are passed on to end consumers.

2. we do not stock up inventory. this helps to lower the inventory cost and again, pass on any savings to end consumers. have you ever wonder why products that DX offer are so cheap?

3. DX has been around for many years and they process thousands of orders EACH DAY. if a few complaints online proves that they are thief, then all ecommerce merchants are thief too, including amazon and dell. i m sure you can find a few hundred complaints about amazon online too.

4. Having say all this, of course merchants like us should make our policy clearer. but again, how many of you really read before you make the purchase?

If you can't accept all these, you should pay more to local shops who charge more and stop complaining like a kid!

DealExtreme items never shipped

I order just a few small accessories for my digital camera (SD card, card adapter and card reader) all totaling less than $15. The website indicated the items were in stock and would ship with 4 days and in transit about 14 days with free shipping. Although I was not happy about the extended shipping time, it was free shipping--so I couldn't really complain. After 4 weeks I contacted the company and asked for a tracking number. They responded by saying the items had shipping just a few days after the order was placed and that I should check with my local post office to see if the package was "held up" there. I checked and it was not at the post office. After contactiong them againg and asking for a trackgin number--they responded by saying to "give it another 10 days" in case the package was delayed somewhere in transit. Still they had sent me a tracking number to prove my order had shipped. By now it was almost 6 weeks. I immediately responded back to them that PayPal has a 45 day limit on opening a dispute against the order (if it did not show up in the additional 10 days). They stopped responding so I had to open a dispute with PayPal. A few days later I was refunded the purchase price (minus PayPal transaction fee). It had now been alomost 8 weeks since the order was placed and no package has arrived---it is apparent they never sent anything and were either just stalling because the items were not available or they were just fraudulently stealing my money. I am an old Deal Extreme customer. I bought so many excellent and rare gadgets there, and I would recommend it to everybody.

What's more, Deal Extreme Forum moderators CYCLIST and LAL keep protecting and supporting this NUTJOB (his nickname) activity not only rude harassing Deal Extreme customers and Deal Extreme Forum users but above all damaging Deal Extreme reputation. They were even deleting my posts and messages addressed to Deal Extreme staff members (Tiffany and others), so that posting complaints to Deal Extreme Forum is like winking to a blind man. That's why I decided to post my complaints here at this Complaints Board not effected by Deal Extreme Forum moderators' arbitrariness and censorship.

I got screwed by these guys Also. These guys did not send my order for 48 days and the when I inquired the prolonged it in insisting me to do a ticket and wasted 3 more days. Then 2 days of weekend were wasted. They never contacted me. I again opened a chat and the guy tells me that the shipment has returned back to china. No specific reason He Asked me to again request for a ticket to ask for a refund these Guys are a fraud. If someone is good with computers and blogs please make one so no more Americans get screwed by these Chinese.TO confirm My order number is [protected] and it was a 231.00 which the screwed me on I am still waiting with PayPal to get my money. I even asked PayPal to take actions against them but it seems like why should Paypal do anything since they are getting their CC processing Fees My fellow Americans don't waste your money on these China duce bags

I post a complaint about DealExtreme once about how I was threatened because I asked for a refund and how I have filed a Paypal dispute since. It was promptly removed. But that was the last time I will ever buy from them. And mind you, this was a DealExtreme customer since 2009.

I too was banned just because the Mod CYCLIST felt "offended" when I pointed out his horrible spelling and when I posted my concerns about a FRAUDULENT product, a spin-off of the infamous "power balance" bracelets now claiming it helps "blood circulation", yeah right... Their customer service is a complete joke. I opened a ticket complaining about the NAZI CYCLIST and it's still unanswered thus proving the company is backing up their mods attitudes. I'm not sure but I think LAL as well deleted some of my posts - absolutely no violation of the ToU - before I was banned but a post from another user directly insulting me is still there while I never insulted him. Actually I was DEFENDING the company at that time. How ridiculous can it get?

DealExtreme item not received, doas

I think DX uses the early adopters -- people who place their orders early and ahead of the curve before the masses do -- in bad faith so they can test the waters and see if there is substantive demand for an item. Once orders are taken, they then make their order in proper and optimal size to their suppliers. I know: that's tricky, clever. It's indicative of the tactics and ethics in that region. I can't really be angry, I just pity these folks.

Furthermore, on at least 2 past orders, I got fed up with non-responses from DX people.

On one occasion, I tried to cancel my order. And you know what, it won't let me! Status on the cancellation page says: "On the packaging line and pending some last steps for shipment. If you would like to obtain the latest update, please contact us." However, when I go to order tracking, it says the status is: "Temporary stock shortage, contact us if necessary" Could there simultaneously be two very different and conflicting status? Obviously, at least one of these is a lie. DX presents whatever status they feel like to manipulate the buyer.

Also no such thing as a FIFO policy. People who buy the product after you -- especially if you are an early buyer -- will often get their items shipped first. When inventory is very low, but many orders are taken, DX appears to try to do damage control on their public image -- manipulating the perception of the masses by shipping the bulk of the last orders first for positive feedback. A few very angry customers is better than many unhappy customers.

Meanwhile, DX often drops the price while they are 'waiting for stock' from suppliers after you make the order (but note, you only made the order because DX tells you it's in stock in the first place.) But point is, no chance in getting a price match.

Don't trust their forums either. I suspect at least a 3 of the members are 'planted' -- agents who work for them but say a few soothing words to disgruntled buyers who post. (e.g. moneycow). Just look at the reviews of these people. Be cautious who is posting. And the moderators, they say they are not DX Employees, but believe me, they are 'agents' at the very least. Cunning and very manipulative.

Along the lines of 'paid posters' or 'planted agents', look at some of the users on this site who has given DX a 5 check mark rating, 99% of users have only one posts. There is pattern here. Hmmmm... makes you wonder. It seems like DX staff are trying to keep their score up.

On one occasion, I got myself a DOA (Holux GPS unit). No response after inquiries to customer service.

These incidents have one thing in common: when the value of the item is over $50 (GPS, aPad). That is about as much as you can trust them with one order. Sure you probably will have no problems with small items (less than $20) but think twice before you buy something significant -- could be delays, DOA or other problems.

I'm going to report these incidents to the Canadian International Trade Tribunal. I don't know about HK or China, but in Canada there are ethical standards for merchants. For the public record and with each new report of deceit, it's gonna make it harder to exist as a quasi-sham.

Poor ethics. Poor practices. It's a matter of time before karma catches up.

It's a pity that PayPal would allow this company to use PayPal as its only payment option. You can find a lot of angry customers on the web who blame PayPal for not helping getting their money back (usually it has passed 45 days since the poor customers paid for the orders that never arrived or DOA)...:(

DealExtreme crooked company

This was the worst experience I have ever encountered with internet purchasing. In summary, I ordered a product for a trip that I would be leaving for a month later. The web site presents the product as it is in stock, but it isn't. Three weeks later I found that the item hadn't even been shipped. I canceled the order and asked for a refund. They responded by lying to me that the order had been shipped the day before so that they couldn't cancel it. In reality, the order was shipped 3 days later and arrived while I was on my trip. The post office sent it back to them and ever since I got back from my vacation, it has been a battle to get a refund. Below I have listed the word-for-word correspondence for anyone interested in reading them. My advice; stay away from this company if you think you may cancel your order or ask for a refund, or would like to receive the item in a reasonable time frame.

These are the following correspondence as written.

-This battery pack was ordered and charged 4/27 and I still haven't received it. No one bothered to tell me that you were currently out of this item. I am really not pleased and I expected to have it before I leave for Europe. I would like a refund immediately. If someone would have emailed or phoned me about the problem I would see the situation much differently. I doubt I will buy anything from your store ever again.

My patience is really wearing thin. I have been asking for this refund over a period of several months; even before the product arrived. Deal Extreme can issue a direct credit to my american express card immediately and deal with paypal separately. Why must I be punished for this company's incompetence? I have never experienced such problems from online purchasing as I have with Deal Extreme. That being said, I definitely do not want store credit. I would like to see the balance credited to my c.c. before this situation becomes any worse.

I am sick and tired of all the games. I have been asking for the refund ever since May.
I have learned about many similar complaints about this company and its fraudulent practices. I will now file complaints against this company, file a claim with paypal, and follow with legal action if necessary. I don't even care about the money as much as I care about your dishonesty and lack of integrity. If I don't see the amount credited back to my credit card this week I will began seeking legal counsel.

-After contacting American Express, they graciously filed a dispute claim for me even though it was after their 60 day dispute deadline. Now that is customer service! A few days after calling the credit card company, Deal Extreme sent a response.

-Well, we will contract Paypal to refund you separately, but we can only refund you $50 because we have to deduct the postage that we paid for the shipping, please understand.

The refunds will be issued to you within 2-3 weeks. You will receive a confirmation e-mail directly from PayPal when it has arrived at your account.

-So they still want to get anything they can even if it is a few dollars. This is nothing more than subtle theft. I canceled the order before it was shipped, they shipped it in disregard of my request, and now want to charge me for it. Obviously not everyone has a terrible experience like this or else the company would be bankrupt. Buy from this crooked company at your own risk. You've read the correspondence exactly as they were written - now you decide.

I wish I had done more homework searching about the company before placing my order with these guys.
I am having a bad feeling that my money will never be refunded.

I'm having the same problem with Dealextreme.
They didn't have the product in stock for over a month, I asked for a refund.
They said I would be refunded within 7 days. That never happened, I emailed them asking when I would be refunded - no response
I opened a Paypal dispute, I then got an immediate response from DealExtreme stating that they can't refund me if there is a Paypal dispute open.
Paypal closed the dispute the next day ( citing they have no control over DealExtreme ).
I contacted Dealextreme again, stating the dispute was closed, they again replied that they can't issue a refund if there is a case open( basically ignoring what I had stated).

In short, if you want to deal with DealExtreme (or Paypal for that matter), consider it a gamble, ..a fool and his money are soon parted!

DealExtreme items never shipped, won't refund

Ordered 4 products from DealExtreme. Shipment arrived with 2 of the items with a note saying the other 2 products would be backordered. Never arrived. Wrote for refund. They will not refund or investigate unless I submit a photo of the original package (which didn't contain the missing items anyway). Why would I have saved a padded envelope which contained what it claimed to contain? Why should I have to own a camera and save all my obsolete packaging just so I can get a refund? Paypal won't get involved if it's after 45 days, which it is because I gave them time for the backorder. DealExtreme must do this as a way of denying all refunds. I've bought from them in the past, but never again.

We also were ripped off by boex. They send complete trash. Shoes they send are rotten and broken. Can't be sold. Never do business with them!

Well, have to say that we have also visited company Boex in Germany and were very pleased with what we have seen there. Must say that everything went really well since the beginning. We did came a bit later as our train was delayed but we were pleased to find out that the company staff was still waiting for us there. So we were picked up from the station straight away and went to the warehouse. Must say we were pleased with the service which was excellent starting from friendly greetings and comfortable car which took us to the warehouse. We were even more pleased when we arrived to the warehouse of Boex. Everything there was well organized. We looked through all the available grades, observed the sorting process and got all the necessary information about the collection of the used goods. As it was our first business and we are just beginners in this business it was important for us to get as much info as possible. And Boex provided us with all possible help they could give to us. They explained patiently how the ordering process goes, how the terms of payment are and which documents we are going to receive with the DHL. So before we paid the 50 prepayment we had a very clear picture in our heads about the whole process. We paid 38.500, 00 EUR for a start and to be honest were also a bit scared. But all our fears gone when after 3 weeks Boex emailed us with the information that our container was safely loaded. They kept us informed during the whole sorting process. They furnished us with the whole lot of the documents. So once we did the balance payment we received the originals per DHL in no time. That was really great! Took a while before container arrived to Mombasa, Kenya and we cleared it. Finally the goods arrived to our warehouse in Nairobi and we started opening the sacks. Must say we were really scared as there are lots of scam companies nowadays. But to our surprise we found out that the goods were fine. The used shoes were really nice and were just as we ordered and seen in the warehouse of Boex. Our customers were also happy with the goods and we were really lucky to sell all in about one week time. Now we are doing the second container with Boex and we are sure it will be the same good as the company have their standards. We just wanted to share with you our positive experience with Boex as well! And wish you all a prosperous business in second hand!

hi guys any one thinking selling secondhand shoes or clothes please never thinking buy any thing from a germany company call boex, silex and etex all those companies are the same and ceo is christian muller and he use a lady call kate as i know when you call she will respond to just to lure into buying listen to her voice, do not be deceived is just one of the conn.

I Have brought many products from DealExtreme on several occasions and never had a problem with the company. There customer service was great in helping me exchange a out of stock product to one that was in stock.I have always revived my order even if it is very slow to receive the order but its coming from a different country so it is expected.I would personally by from them again, for me there is no reason not to.Sorry to hear about your bad experience as well.

YES, I'M YELLING! THIS COMPANY IS A RIP-OFF AND I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO CONTACT THEM ON THEIR WEBSITE AND IT DOESN'T RECOGNIZE MY ORDER NUMBER THEN I WENT THRU PAYPAL AND TRIED TO CONTACT THIS BUYER AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE AT ALL. ITS OVER 30 DAYS AND I WANT TO ESCALATE THIS MATTER THRU PAYPAL EVEN THOUGH MY CASE IS CLOSED THRU PAYPAL. I WANT MY FREAKING MONEY BACK. ANOTHER THING, I WANT TO ADD THIS ### OF A COMPANY BASED IN HONG KONG, CHINA AND I DIDN'T KNOW THAT UNTIL I WAS CHARGED $1.00 FOR INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTION FEE.

I GIVE THIS COMPANY A FREAKING ZERO! I DON'T RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO PURCHASE ANY THING FOR THIS WEBSITE.

I ordered some products on Jan 19, 2011. Today is March 3, 2011 and I have not received them yet. I have sent them a few emails but no response. They may have cheap products but when you expect to receive your order at most in next 4 business weeks and you don't even get them in a few months then it is not worth of your time and money to deal with these guys in China.

DX ripped me off too, I purchased 3 chargers from them in a large order and the chargers were left out.
Told DX and they wanted pic of package and items, sent them... then they said that I would get the 3 chargers..nothing sent. I lost 40 bucks a lesson learned on a GOOD DEAL!

Paypal should shut these guys down !

To late for a refund same old story like the other folks who trusted DX and got ripped off!

Stay away from DX!

I was being sarcastic. This is why you're having problems w/ Dealextreme; your comprehension skills are lacking. Unless you like in exile, there are stores local to you where you can walk into & purchase batteries from, rather than ordering them online from a business on the the other side of the world.

I am going through the exact same thing with this company. They continue to play stupid and appears this is the Chinese way of doing buisness. I have had enough dealing with them.At thing time they still have 139.00 of my money and I have nothing. I am currently and have done a charge back against this company. Interesting thing is I have contacted them many times with no response UNTIL they rec. and notice that the payment was going to be force withdrawn from their account with paypal. Then and only then you can hear them squealing about it. We no like your complaint to paypal; we ship partial items in your order you then cancel complaint then we ship to you partial order... Yea right; what they think I am that stupid. This crap has been going on for a month. As for other comments about high quality products; you want to buy some bad 18650 batteries from me? I lost over 50.00 in crappy batteries that never worked and even the few replacements they sent after running around on their stupid me no understand chinese merry go round. Remember this to them the only bad buisness is getting caught...

DealExtreme fake products

Rechargeable Digital Pin-hole Spy Camera + USB Drive Disguised as Working Pen are FAKE products, the pen are not working as described, sometimes you'll have working usb flash drive, sometimes working camera without working usb memory, most of the time just regular pen for about 20$. Regular price for such item on internet is about 100$. Support, waranty and return policy are questionable.

Deal Extreme is a BIG LIE !

They lie about everything, after you pay, you have no one to talk to, mail, call, NOTHING. You are on your OWN !

I've purchased and item and it said delivery in 1-3 days, as long as I accepted to pay more for that, BIG LIE, 7 days now, and payment is still processing, there isn't a place to cancel orders and no one will answer any emails or phone calls.

BECAREFUl, DEALEXTREME is SCAM ! Don't fall for that !

I expected low quality when I purchased a bunch of LED lights for my home. I expected them to have the LED inside them but when I open them all is there is a circuit board and a couple of wires that should have been soldered on to the board. No LED chips though. Deal Extreme has washer their hands and I'm stuck with useless crap while they have my money. My wife uses something called WISH and they seem to take care of here when crap is delivered or not delivered.

They sell lots of bootleg stuff: they copy a legit product (though with unknown quality in their copy) and sell it lots cheaper than the real one. Hurts the reputation (and pocketbook) of the real guys. I bought a flashlight from them - was happy for awhile, then it broke.

DealExtreme defective product

[protected]@gmail.com sold me a very expensive flashlight, one of those HID 35 watt Bright ones.. When it arrived, it was broken, and will NOT work at all.

This was paid for by Pay Pal, and I complained, sent e-mails, and even back charged them on pay pal, both them, and Pay Pal are not responding at all.

Out 255.44 usd
