Dealer Cost Car Audio customer service

this place is a joke. prices are great but thats as far as it goes. do not believe anything they say when it comes to their warranty. my touch screen head unit died after 6 months, i called them and they said they had them in stock and one would ship within 24 hours of recieving the defective unit. 3 days after they recieved it i called them and they told me they no longer carried the unit but they were "looking" into the problem and they would call me back. no return call from them. 2 more days go by and i call them again, now they are talking to the manufacturer to find out what to do. once again they will call me back. 3 more days go by with no call so once again i call them and they say "we had to ship it to the manufacturer for repair. i ask them how long, they dont know but will call me back. 2 more days go by and i call them again. now they are upset with me, they have no idea how long it will be. i get an email from them saying "WE SENT IT TO KENWOOD AND WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN THEY WILL BE DONE WITH IT". so my 24 hour turn around is heading into the third week with no end in sight especially since they sent it to kenwood instead of sony.

ordered on 5/22/2010 and have not recieved as of 08/30/2010 debit card was charged and have no luck getting thru to company

Same story as most about this company. It has been over 10 business days since i canceled my order. Still no refund. Do not BELIEVE anything this, so called, company claims.

They will take your money instantly w/ no shipment ever. They will not refund your money w/out the bank filing a dispute. This is a complete scam! They have no product or store. DO NOT BUY FROM DCCA! The good reviews are bogass. Check out the BBB ratinf of "F".

Dealer Cost Car Audio Never shipped items

Placed order for parts on 5/26/10. Credit card was charged on 5/28/10. Merchandise was still not received by 6/15/20 at which time we tried to call and no one ever answered their phone after having waited more than half hour. I don't think they have anyone manning the phones. Sent email same day following up on our order. It is now 6/28/10 and never received response to our email. Are cancelling our order today. Let's see how long that will take. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. IF YOU INSIST ON DOING SO, TRY PLACING YOUR ORDER OVER THE PHONE AND YOU WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND.

THESE GUYS ARE THIEVES! THEY STOLE $300.99 FROM ME. They do not have a business license in Santa Clara, CA. I called the city. Their address is a mail center (like a PO BOX). I let them put me off past 60 days and was not able to dispute the charges with my credit card. And this company refused to return my money and now my emails. Because they don't have an actually address you cannot find they to sue them.

Ordered merchandise 05/11/09. Arrived by UPS 5/14/09. Items were damaged. Contacted DCCA by phone and e-mail and were told they would file the claim with UPS. After no response we filed the claim and UPS returned the damaged items to DCCA. Tried ordering other items-not avail or back ordered. Canceled the order. Requested a immediate refund. Have been promised they would look into it, take care of it this week...blah, blah, blah. Now they do not respond to e-mails and my son is out his hard earned money! I want the refund.

Dealer Cost Car Audio No Merchandise Received

I ordered a set of speakers via their website on April 26, 2010. The estimated shipping time was two weeks. After the two weeks came and passed I contacted them via email. I was told to give it a little while longer. All the while I never received a tracking number or an update of any kind from the retailer. About two weeks later, again I ask by email about the merchandise (can never reach them via phone) this time I am ignored. I try several times by phone to contact them to no avail. Finally I send an email demanding a refund and have since been ignored. This retailer needs to be investigated immediately for fraud/theft. I am going to ensure the entire Atlantic Naval Fleet knows this place can't be trusted.

Dealer Cost Car Audio is a SCAM I ordered a Viper alarm from them 1/7/10 to this day still have not received it. I get e-mails from them that say Still pending, should update within 1-2 business days or less. They also went as far as making a fake UPS shipping Label for me. Do your self a favor and shop some were else. I'm still waiting for my money back its been 3 months now.

Dealer Cost Car Audio ordered a product 8 months ago and still do not have it

We ordered a DVD player for our car in September. We were giving it to our children for christmas. We got it installed after Christmas and didn't work. We sent it back for repair in January. These people are absolute frauds. We have been in contact with Robert Jones by email and when we do get responses, they flat out lie. They were going to send us another product and that was over a month ago. When we email about a refund we get nothing. I'm in the process of contacting news stations, the FBI, a lawyer and every complaint board on the internet until some action is resolved. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Please contact me at [protected]@hotmail.com. I am working on a class action lawsuit against this company as there are more than enough people that have been scammed by this company. Absolute frauds. I wish my husband would've done research regarding this company before doing business with them.

Dealer Cost Car Audio bogus tracking number, no refund, almost 2 months of email interaction

Unfortunately, according to other complaints on this board, I feel like my terrible experience with this company is commonplace. The following is the email correspondence with "Robert Jones, Sales Manager" of Dealer Cost Car Audio. It might be humorous if I weren't getting screwed.

Dealer Cost Car Audio Lied, No refund, Fraud, Scam

I orderd on 11/17/09, canceld order 12/02/09. Said they gave me refund 12/03/09, called credit union today say that no refund was given. Filed a bbb report to day and am looking for a lawyer. I live in franklin, pa, 16323. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM DEALER COST CAR AUDIO! They will scam you. You call them and your on hold for 30min to an hour. You email them with questions about your order they give you a vague answer that is only a sentcene or two long. They told me my order would ship with in 3 days, never did. They told me that they had given me a refund on 12/03/09, and lied to me. They are flat out liers who need to be shutdown. I order a Hifoncs BXI2610D, ZXI6010, and a Stinger SPD570, a total of $597.97. I called hifonics and they said that they are an unauthorized dealer of there products. From now on only orderes to the company or an authroized dealer of there products will I order from. Claim on there web site 95% items in stock ship with in 24 hours, or 3-7 business days. Thats a lie, if they even have a warehouse with any thing it it. You'd be lucky if you ever get your stuff. Slow, liars, Its like they just take your money to get buy than they wait until they get somone elses money to get by and maybe finally return yours when they have too. Anyway heres just what they and I emailed to one another. I will also be posting more complaits on other websites with the same info, just typed up diffrent, cause I'm not coping this post. Heres the email conversins. Oh you have to start at the bottom and work your way up. Said in one email order would be ready to ship by thursday, what lairs.

I have been reading reviews about your service, alot of people hate your company, from what I've read. Not pretty But all true, They are pure evil. They'll take your money and rip you off. Major headache ordering from them. And this is just some of the emails, think I'm missing some, but this is most of them.

I am dealing with them also. Have canceled order. Now we will see how long it takes. I haven't given in to the thought of riding down there with some other biker friends. Well at least I did learn a name of one of the liars. They don't even use their name anymore. I ordered the subwoofer on 5/28/10 and canceled it on 6/18/10. He first told me it was backorderedand it would be there in 3 days. I e-mailed him on the 4th day he said a couple more days. I gave him that and said cancel.

I am going through the same thing with them I ordered 5-24-10, After arguing for a week they finally canceled my order on 6-1-10, it is now 6-18-10, I still have no refund and they are still talking in circles. This company is no company I wish someone would shut them down so they cant do this to people! I dont have money to just blow I was trying to order something nice for my husband for fathers day and now I have no gift and no money to get him something else

Sounds like you got Robert Joned. Classic. The guy is famous for these antics. I was scammed by dealer cost car audio once, I'm never dealing with them again. I posted my complaint on the http://stopdcca.wordpress.com site but those ### probably paid to have the site removed since all the complaints were piling up in one place. What a shame.

UPDATE: Got My refund back, a week after the last email or the first. Posted them upside down for some reason, my bad. Anyway, I order from onlinecarstereo.com, took two weeks for my order to arvive, cause of christmas time, would have gotten it sooner. The BBB gives Dealer Cost Car Audio an ( F ) which they dervive, corgrats to them for reseaving an F, for being the worst car audio store on the internet. Online Car Stereo.com got a ( B ) from them. You might have problems with them, if they don't have what you want. Don't know if there an authorized dealer of most of there stuff, but they seem to be for Maxx Sonic products. Sonic got an ( A ) never used them though, would have been my next option, if it didn't work out with Online Car Stereo, but they cam though. So if I may subject, look for authorized online dealers to get your stuff, or use these two sites. To find out if there an authorized dealer or who is an authorized dealer of the proudcts that you want, call the company aka the manufactor of the product(s) that you want. Totally agree. We are going through the same thing with "Robert Jones" here in Connecticut. Charged the credit card without providing the product, then said it was backordered, then refused provide the credit back to card. He even responded that he would "expedite the refund". We are also filing with BBB, and I want to pursue this even further than that. He does not seem the least bit threatened by legal action, BBB or anything else. I would like to find a Department of Consumer Affairs or some organization in California that has the authority to shut his business down and have him arrested. I truly consider this theft, especially if he is not providing the service, product, yet he's taking money.

I agree with everything. I am going through the same thing. I wish I would have read reviews on them before I placed an order. They always just give you the run-around. So I just got off the phone with my credit card company to dispute the charges..So we will see how that goes. But yes anyone who is thinking about buying from there, DON'T! It will be your biggest mistake.

I placed an order with DCCA early in August, 2009 and after waiting for over a month and a half without any information forwarded to me about my order I sent them an email. A guy named "Robert" aka Sales Manager replied to my email saying that my items I ordered were backordered and would ship out within a week. I was a little pissed that I had not been informed of any of this information until I contacted him over a month later. After waiting another 2 weeks I contacted him once again, no response, then again, no reponse and then the 3rd email he responds and says that it is still backordered after 3 more weeks but should arrive shortly! His famous bs words. I requested a full refund and told him he should rethink his business ethics so he said he would void the transaction and issue a refund. I have been told that the refund would appear on my credit card within 2-3 days for the last 2 months and still nothing. I have asked Robert if he could fax me a copy of the refund receipt so I can foward that to my credit card company but he will not do that. All he says to all my emails is, "YOU WILL SEE IT SHORTLY". I dont know about anyone else but to myself 5 months is not really "Shortly" is it? This guy is a scam artist through and through. I have no idea how he is not behind bars now but it will happen shortly. Good thing my uncle is a very reputable attorney here. The ball is going to be rolling now and hopefully this can be the end of another fraud. We dont need people like this roaming "free". There is only one place and one place only for people like this. I just wish that these guys put all there hard time and energy into making a real living rather than scamming innocent people.

Dealer Cost Car Audio Will not refund my money

My son ordered speakers from them on 5/11/09 they were delivered by UPS on 5/14/09. Speakers were broken. Returned them after filing a claim with UPS. 6 months of constant contact by e-mail or phone. They promised a credit but the items were never available. They promised a refund which never has materialized. They promised they would resolve it last week. Now they do not answer my e-mails. I have filed complaints with the BBB, State of Utah Division of Consumer Protection and anyone else I can think of to get my sons hard earned money back.

I placed my order and they immediately charged my card. After 2 weeks, I emailed asking if my oder had shipped. They responded "Processed out for shipment already." When I asked for a tracking # they did not have one. Then they tell me that the item is actually backordered and I will have to wait.

I tell them to just cancel the order. This was a nightmare. The customer servive was evasive and extremely ambigiuous. Their emails went in circles and got me nowhere. Finally they agreed to cancel my order and refund my money. So, almost 2 weeks later... still no refund.

Do not Buy Them, Do not buy from them or you'll have the worst experience of your life! I bought a pair of speakers and a sub on Dec/20/2017 we are in Feb/14/2017 and still not received my stuff. not even for a moment consider buying from DCCA, they are liars! after a minimum 40 e-mail `s and many hours on the phone waiting, trying to talk with them to resolve (they never answer the phone never!) I contacted my bank to get my money back(the only way). DCCA should be banned from the enternet..

THESE GUYS ARE THIEVES! THEY STOLE $300.99 FROM ME. They do not have a business license in Santa Clara, CA. I called the city. Their address is a mail center (like a PO BOX).

I let them put me off past 60 days and was not able to dispute the charges with my credit card. And this company refused to return my money and now my emails. Because they don't have an actually address you cannot find they to sue them.

Now that I have post a lot of negative reviews, DCCA contacted me. They asked me to *** the reviews then they would return my money. These guys never stop trying to manipulate people. I told them to return my money and then I would remove the reviews. Never heard back from them. The reviews continue. The truth hurts...

Ordered ALPINE PXE-H650 from Dealer Cost Car Audio last year. They charged my credit card on 22nd Nov 2017 when item was never in stock. Never notified me regarding item being out of stock. About a month later email them asking where is item and was told no stock yet. Asked why was credit card was charged when item was not yet in stock. Sales manager robert replied and said this is correct and said "no stock yet". 2 months later asked Robert to contact Alpine to see when will stock be arriving, he said few days time. A few weeks after that contacted him again and ask what happen. He says "still on backorder"? It is now 15th March 2017 and still no item. Will keep this review updated on more delays

My mistake was not researching before buying off Dealer Cost Car Audio. Pls do research on any business to see if there are any customers complaints before purchasing off the net.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE UNLESS YOU DO A "REVIEWS" SEARCH FIRST. Placed order on 8/15/09 and paid with debit card which was immediately charged. On 8/24/09 still no shipping notice. Customer service Robert Jones email said should ship any day. September still no shipping. Email customer service, they pleaded "ignorant" and asked me to provide them with order details. Did so. They replied it would ship in next few days. October, asked them to cancel. They emailed "why". Did not. November asked for refund. They emailed "is there a problem". December I wrote to the CA State Attorney General, they wrote him. He replied to them that he was canceling order and refunding money and on Jan 27, 2017 emailed me that order was canceled and I should have my refund in 3 to 7 days. February 10, 2017 still no refund, tired to get bank to credit but too much time had elapsed for them to do it. Customer service said they need me to provide my credit card info to them so they could get the refund, this was well after the date of 27th Jan when they said it had been refunded. ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN RIPPED BY DEALER COST CAR AUDIO IN SANTA ANA CA NEED TO GO ONLINE TO THE CA STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL'S WEBSITE AND FILE A COMPLAINT. They have informed me if they get enough complaints they will investigate them. The BBB has over 500 complaints on this company and gives them an "F". PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.

I had ordered a subwoofer on 10/06/09 from this so called "company" with my CHECK CARD (remember) and got an email immediately stating that it was confirmed that my order has been processed and that I should be receiving a tracking number within 7 days. I received no email with tracking number 7 days after the initial order so I decided to call them and see what was going on. After about an hour or so on hold I got threw, I was given the answer of "pioneer is being slow" even though their website shows that the subwoofer was IN STOCK. I then waited until 10/12/09 to send them an email asking what the deal is with my purchase and why it is taking so long for them to send it out. At this point I was getting tired of playing games trying to get through with their phones so I emailed them asking to cancel the order and get the refund. This was 10/13/09 when I sent the initial email asking for the refund and cancel, I got a response from "Robert Jones" saying that he can TRY and get it canceled and for me to touch base with him within 1-2 days to confirm. I then sent him an email on the next day asking how the process is coming along and he responds "should be 2-3 days or less". So far it has been over 2 weeks since the initial order and nothing to show for it. I decided to be patient for a little bit, giving them the benefit of the doubt. I waited until 10/19/09 to email them again as to where my money is because I still haven't received it. They then send me an email stating that is has now just been UPDATED to the status of CANCELED... and that it takes between 7-14 business days to get my money back. I waited the 7 days and still have nothing back from them. I once again called them I called them on 11/04/09 (almost an entire month from original purchase date) to try and figure out what the deal is yet again... the only answer i received was "it can take up to one billing cycle and that I should see it very shortly, within the next couple days". Now remember I used a CHECK CARD not a CREDIT CARD to purchase this item, a check card doesn't use a billing cycle. It should have just gone directly into my account. Nader (or whatever his name is, he talks too fast to make other people feel like he knows what he is talking about) that all i have to do is send them an email with a fax number asking for a "refund receipt" because apparently by law they cant just email it or send it in the mail, BS. I emailed them with a fax number requesting the receipt on 11/04/09, immediately right after I got off the phone with him. I expected to see it by the end of the day but didn't, so I emailed them yet again asking for it to be sent by tomorrow morning (11/05/09) and still nothing. I have been getting played with and toyed around for an entire month now by this SCAM of a company. These people have TERRIBLE customer service, this so called "company/business" is a JOKE! I have read other reviews from people and apparently I am not the only person who has a problem with these people. I also did some more research and stumbled upon these facts... In the past 36 months they have had 253 complaints with the better business bureau! That is ridiculous! guess I should have done this research before I got into this whole mess. PS... I still don't have my money back (11/06/09)

Ordered a Viper 5902 On Thursday 2/25/10 with Dodge bypass, Called all day Thursday and never got through wasted many cell minutes at the end of a 15 Min wait it said call can not go through.Called again friday got through was told my item would ship out Friday today... Got email later today saying no tracking yet wouldnt ship till monday, tired of stressing over this and reading bad reviews. I have emailed them Tonight 2/26/10 and asked for a full refund If they respond ASAP i will change my review to positive. I honestly belive this company dosent stock any products and just orders them once people order off their site. PLease refund my order ASAP Thank you. Although they do respond to emails fairly quick. *i will update with refund status*

December submitted complaint to CA State Attorney General they wrote to Dealer Cost Car Audio. Dealer Cost send them back a reply that they had canceled and refund the money. Jan 27th 2017 Dealer Cost emailed me that they had canceled the order and I should have my refund in 3 to 7 days. February 10th still no refund. EmailedDealer Cost Car Audio and they asked for my credit card number so they could refund which means they lied to the CA Attorney General. Do Not Buy From This Company before you do a "review" search. They have over 500 BBB reports and have an "F" rating. Also, anyone who has been ripped by them should go online to the CA State Attorney General's website and file a complaint. They told me if they get enough complaints they will start and investigation. Let's put an end to this online crook.

yeah i am going through same problem now i ordered an amp but they would never ship it. so i canceled the order and they wouldnt cancel it for a week till i finally got a hold of him and now i cant get my money refunded. i have been fightingthem everyday but cant seem to get them to refund my money. this coompany is a joke and starting to think i never will get my money. there has got to be away to fix this or get this company out of business.

Dealer Cost Car Audio Scam

Made purchase at www.dealercostcaraudio.com on 07/05/09. After 1 week of not receiving any information regarding shipment, I sent an email to DCCA. They responded that order would be shipped by the end of week. They subsequently gave the same answer the next 3 weeks.

I got tired of waiting, and cancelled the order on 08/12/09. I received a confirmation email on 08/12/09 that the order was cancelled and credit would be applied to charge card within 7-14 days. After not receiving a credit in 14 days, I sent an email to DCCA trying to get information regarding the credit. After many emails they finally said the credit had been applied on 08/17/09.

I filed a complaint with the BBB on 08/28/09. I contacted my credit card company on 08/31/09 and disputed the charge. DCCA replied to the BBB complaint on 09/01/09 and stated that the credit had been applied to my card on 08/12/09. I responded to their BBB response that as of 09/02/09, no credit had been applied to my account. I also stated that since a BBB complaint had been filed, I'm sure DCCA would blame a technical error, and a credit would show up on my account within 2 days.

On 09/03/09 a credit finally showed on my account.

DEALER COST CAR AUDIO IS A SCAM. Do not place an order. They do not have your product. You will get the run around, you will spend months and many wasted hours trying desperately to get your product or even just your money back. I still do not have my money after 11 emails, 5 promises, 2 phone calls, and countless hours involved. I did not find out how many people that have screwed over until recently.

They will make up every excuse in the book, like it only happens to a few products (in my case only Kenwoods, but nearly everyone's order is different and you can go through the huge lists of complaints and see it has nothing to do with the product you ordered.)

The only time they ever took initiative to call or write to me was once I posted a negative review, and then they finally said that they would cancel my order, but still no money returned. They told me that they cannot be a scam since they charge by creditcard, but they are snakes, and it is a scam. They make their money by customer's procrastination to file a dispute. You only have 90 days to dispute it. If I listened to them, I would certainly have passed that point. They threatened a $50 charge against me if I called to cancel the payment. They told me that the bank would charge me since they did nothing wrong. This is a lie, I checked with the bank, at the time I filed my dispute. DCCA also looked up my personal company's name on the internet (it was not provided to them) and threatened my company if I made any negative posts. They only care about protecting their scam and nothing else. There have been some people to get their money back from these guys, but it appears to only be the ones who are going to the authorities or making negative posts. By the way, they will tell you they do 30, 000 units every month and we are just the unlucky few. Don't believe this lie either. They neither have the rankings, the facility, or enough products in stock to do it. As of today here are their collective rankings:

They are liars and will bully you and tell you that filing a claim may get you in trouble. I am telling you this now. DO NOT LET THEM DO THIS TO YOU. Stand up and fight. Let's take them down collectively so they cannot do this to others. If they have owed you a product for more than 30 days and have not refunded your money or given you an exact date they are in violation of the FTC mail order rule. Money is to be returned in 7 business days of your written request (and it does not have to come from their web page like they tell people), and it must be back on your credit card in one billing cycle. You only have 90 days to file a dispute, and they are making their money by convincing people to wait through this limit. Many people don't file a dispute because of the time/energy/bullying, but don't fall victim, file. It will not cost you, there are no charges, even if they return your money in the meantime.

Also, if they pass the FTC rule's time limit with no firm commitment that they stick to, file an ic3 (FBI internet fraud) complaint. Nothing will happen unless consumers do something. I ordered a subwoofer and they never shipped the itm. They said it shipped but they never shipped the item. If you talk with UPS they have never shipped anything through them so anything to the contrary is a lie.

I also filed a complaint with the FTC and I would suggest everyone else to do the same, maybe we can run these thieves out of business. I find it very peculiar that every order from this "company" is on back order. That tells me that they don't have any products at all but are just trying to scam people out of their money.

If you would like to file another complaint with another site concerning this company, (which I have done), go back to http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/ and look at the right hand side below the shop by manufacturer text. You will see a gold star looking symbol. Click on that and then click on certified store rating FAQ. Then click on the right hand side under Alert! Customer help. The customer help section will open and then click on e-mail support and e-mail them with your concerns. I asked them the question as to how they can let this company use their logo. I'm sure if enough of us ask the question they will listen. I also pointed them to this site. Maybe you could as well. I purposly left out the name of the company so Dealer cost couldn't complain about a violation of the policy. Although the site is on their own page. I did the same with the seal on the left side, just so you know that you can also.

Don't Buy! I purchased a Kicker L7 "15" (2/24/2010 8:29 PM, paid $270.79) and took more than a month to receive it. I then had it for a couple of weeks and stopped functioning correctly, I then spoke to them about my situation and they told me to send it back to them, and I haven't receive it yet. It's been more than two months and nothing is happening. I tried contacting them but they never respond to their emails and the Manager, by the name of Simon, never answers. I am deciding of taking a legal action!

I ordered items on 05-20-10. They talked in circles for weeks stating that they were shipping my items and then that my items were on back order. Then they argued and it took another week to cancel my order. My order was finally cancelled 06-01-10. They stated 2-3 days max to get my money back. It is now 06-30-10. I still do not have my money. They have stated they had to mannually return my money that something happened. That was on 06-14-10. Still again it is 06-30-10 and I have not had my money returned! I would advise if you have made the mistake of ordering from this company to call your bank and ask how you go about disputing your money to get it back. After you cancel your order and you do not get your money your bank will help you! I would also advise to file a complaint with the better business bearuea where they already have many complaints as well! If you have not done business with this company yet PLEASE DON"T! You will end up like me and others with no merchandise and no money!

I have never posted a complaint online. I am not the type of person to let things get to me, however I feel it necessary to warn the public about a truly horrible company.

I purchased a Pioneer AVIC-F700BT on 1/28/2009. The unit was professionally installed by a local company. I started having issues within the first year. The iPod feature stopped working, the Bluetooth no longer connected, etc. I had the unit inspected by a local facility. They recommended sending it in for warranty repair. I tried to call the 800 # for Dealer Cost Car Audio for advice, however the phone system is obviously set up so you NEVER get through. It rings until it finally hangs up. It doesnt matter what time you call or how many times a day - same result.

I decided to check the website for the procedure for getting a unit repaired or replaced. The instructions were to double box the unit and ship it to DCCA. I included my original order receipt and a letter explaining the issues I was having. I followed up a couple of weeks later to check on the status. Again, it was IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone over the phone. This is obviously a standard strategy they use.

oredered, they took my money instantly.-$1009.00. They did not ship so i started asking for tracking number and they said "any second now"-never happened, so i canceled. They confirmed my canceled order and said refund in

"7 to 10 days". 1 month later and they say they have refunded my money but they have not. This "company is a scam". I don't believe there is a store or any product. Check out all the reviews and the bbb rating of "F". Be smart enough to recognise the bogass reviews that are added by the criminals. Do not be a fool like i was. This is a scam! File a dispute w/ your card company and get your money back- its the only way you will get it back!

Don't ever buy from them. I ordered my speakers back in July and still have not recieved them yet and it is now Dec. 9th. I was going to ask for my money back but after reading other complaints I figured I just need to talk to the BBB. Still no speakers though. For more info on this company use Google search and type in dealer cost car audio complaints and there is story after story.

Wish I had read reviews sooner on Dealer Cost Car Audio dealercostcaraudio.com...

After waiting 3 weeks for shipment, we cancelled our order and were told to expect a refund soon. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, as Robert Jones strung us along through countless emails.

Now nearly 4 months later, they STILL have not voluntarily refunded the money due. I have contacted my bank; they are doing what is neccesary to get the refund. I highly suggest anyone in the same situation do so as well. In the amount of time you'd spend waiting for someone at DCCA to answer the phone, my bank took all the details and is taking care if it.

This SCAM of a company needs to be shut down NOW and learn the meaning of "what goes around comes around".

Do not ever place an order with Dealer Cost Car Audio. I wish I had done soem research before I made this mistake. If you look them up on the Better Business Bureau you will see their track record. I placed an order on February 1st for a car stereo. Within 24 hours they withdrew the funds from my account - they waste no time whatsoever doing that. Here it is April 14th and I have still not received my order. I have however have been getting many emails from them saying "a couple of more days, just a bit longer, 1-2 more days, etc" It is all bull!@#$. They will tell you the item is on backorder, etc. They will even send you an email saying your order has shipped and when you click on the UPS tracking number it says Billing Information Received. I put a complaint on the BBB website and got a phone call from DCCA within 5 minutes. The guy Matt tells me if I revoke my review they will overnight my order to me. Can you believe this? All you have to do is look this company up on any consumer review site and you will see the truth. DO yourself a favor and avoid this company. They will advertise great prices for their products and try to lure you in, and will take your money with a quickness but, getting your order to you...that is another LONG story.
