I went in to this shop to purchase a new gaming rig, after being rudely ignored for the 15 mins i was walking around their shop, bear in mind i was the only ###ing customer in the shop i went to the counter to get some assistance.
The "technican" and i use that term very very lightly managed to pull himself away from what looked to be some kind of torrent downloading service and greeted me with a rude grunt, i proceded to talk to him about a new i7 processor which he laughed in my face and said "mate, its a intel 17 ( seventeen ) processor, Do you really need somthing like that ? " i continued to explain that i wanted the best machine i possibly could get and that i wanted sli with watercooling on both the gpu and cpu. He told me that there was no such thing as watercooling and that only a " ###ing ### " would be the kind of person to use water inside a computer. I left after that and i will never go back to that shop again.
they managed to lose at least $5000 from that one sale as i purchased it from another shop in lambton called " Computer Pitstop" fully equiped with sli GTX285 and a core I7 965. i am more than happy with the service i recived from " computer pitstop " but am appauled with Dcomp.
I have many friends who share the same hobbies as i do and i can assure you that not one of them will enter a dcomp shop ever again.
I find it hard to believe that they have so many shops around and are still opening them ( westfield kotara )

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Went in-store (mt druitt) today to purchase a gtx970 gigabyte video card ($499) that i previously called the day before (penrith store) to price match with arc ($468) because I'd rather pruchase from dcomp because thats my regular shop.
They searched the model and told me the only stock they had was at mt druitt store which i went to today and after checking the arc website the employee said "it was a different model with different clock speeds the number was exactly the same except at the end they were missing a D in GV-N970WF3OC-4G"D" which was a typo (there is no model without a "D" at the end). asked to price match and was refused twice, even after asking to make sure it was a differentmodel, again clock speeds and everything was the same but was refused reason being; it cost them more than 468$ to purchase, yeah right.
Ended up just buying it from arc computers for 468 today and what do you know it was the exact same model (GV-N970WF3OC-4GD), clueless employee.
horrible customer service at the mt druitt store.

I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM WITH DCOMP MT DRUITT, LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE, LACK OF EXPERIENCE, THESE GUYS ONLY EMPLOY CHILDREN. NON OF THE STAFF ARE QUALIFIED IN PC HARDWARE SERVICING, JUST THE BASIC BUSINESS APPLICATION SOFTWARE COURSE'S AVALIABLE AT ANY TAFE IN AUS. THESE FUKWITS SELL NOTHING BUT ###. I'M NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN, BUT OUT TO DESTROY THIS ###'S IN THE NEAR FUTURE...
The problem with DCOMP is that management employ young workers. Firstly they pay the young worker cash for anything up tp 2 months. Than the worker goes on the "books" and feels like an employee. After about 6/8 months the worker has their hours reduced to maybe 2 days a week while the company brings in another new person that they pay cash too.Once the new cash worker gets trainer the old worker get the sack! Go ask any DComp worker how long they have been there...most will tell you less than 12 months.
DCOMP NEVER GIVE APPROPIATE TRAINING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO STAFF OF TRAINING FOR ANYTHINGELSE> THEY ARE A BUNCH OF ASIAN RIPOFFS!

You sound full of ### to me. Considering I shop at dcomp belmont and there pc is out of site of any customer, you could not know he was on a torrent program, good one.
