Days Inn health and privacy act

The room I'm in (221) at the days inn in Iselin NJ, has a very badly rusted hole in the sink. If someone who has AIDS or HIV has bled in that sink and I or someone else cuts themselves afterwards, we could be be in serious danger. Plus the front desk insisted on my MINOR son to provide an ID. I told them no and would NOT release my sins information (as stated, he's a minor). The bed I'm sleeping on has no fitted sheet, only a cover sheet is being used, therefore, it could slide off the mattress and I could be in someone's bodily fluids. But my twoaim concerns are the first two issues. A very badly rusted out hole in the sink about 3 inches around. It's rusted and is a danger to th health if people staying in this room. Anyone could be infected by getting scratched or badly cut. And then the issue with the front desk insisting on my sons ID. They said because I used my CLC card and my son was staying in the room with me, he had to provide an ID. I will not and I refuse to do so, he is a minor and I'm sure it's borderline e illegal to insist on a mission ors ID. I've spoke with my wife about these issues, and she wants me to call the health board about the rusted out dangerous hole and then seek legal action towards the dangers of the infectious situation and the insistence of my minor sons ID, but I thought I'd talk to you guys first. I have a witness, My boss, about the fro t wanting my sons ID, and I have a picture which I will send with this complaint. Please contact me about this.

Rusted hole in sink I. The room I'm in (221). Insistence of my MINOR sons ID. Might seek legal action, might call health board. Rusted hole in sink is about 3inches around, and if someone with HIV or AIDS, cut themselves and bled in this sink and then i cut myself in the sink from the rusted SHAEP edged hole in the sink, it could be very dangerous. Then the fro t desk insisted on my minor sons ID. They said because I used my CLC card, and my son was staying with, he had to provide an ID.. I told them he's a minor and I will NOT give out his information. I gave them his name, and that's it. But the insisted..I'm NY happy about that at all. My wife wants me to call the health board about the rusted sharp edged hole in the sink and also seek leagal action about the danger of that sink and the insistence of my MINOR sons ID. Days Inn horrible condition of guest rooms

I booked a weeks stay at this hotel without having ever physically been at the location. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted by an exterminator spraying for bugs. I decided that it could be something simple like ants and decided to check in anyways. Once in my room, I was thoroughly disgusted. The shower had mold and mildew. The towels had dirt spots that hadn't come out when washed...or weren't washed at all. The light switch was hanging by wires and there was "stuff" smeared on the walls.
I was in NJ for work, and as such had to go to the work site after checking in. I returned around 4:00pm the afternoon of June 11, 2018 and immediately checked out. I asked for the manager and explained why I was checking out and even showed him the pictures of the disgusting status of the room they had given me. He assured me that I wouldn't be charged for my stay since the room was dirty and I didn't spend the night in the room.
Much to my surprise, our credit card was charged for the entire week stay. It was then another 4 day ordeal to get that refunded…at which time he only refunded 3 days and insisted that since I was checked into that room for 6 hours, that I owed for Monday even though I didn't sleep there. To be honest, I was in that room for less than 20 minutes. Since I had left my home state at 3am…I needed to get ready to go to the worksite..which required me showering in that horribly disgusting shower. The fact that he now expected me to pay for that day was unacceptable. After a full afternoon of calls and arguing…he finally refunded everything but $27.87 because he informed me that was the cost of using the shower. Really? I would look at that as I got dirty by getting in that mold and mildew smeared shower and probably did them a favor by running some water in it. Now all they needed to do was get an actual cleaning person in there to scrub it…for once.
I've stayed at Days Inn locations before since I travel extensively for work. When I see the name Days Inn, I've come to expect a certain level of quality that was not met by this location. It's been such a horrible experience dealing with this location that I've resolved to the fact that I will never stay in another Days Inn again. I don't have enough time or energy to deal with these types of situations. I figured I would let someone know since their location has your name on it. Days Inn request refund

Please see below my original email request dated June 20-2018 directed to general manager at Days inn Lundy's lane Niagara Falls Canada..
This matter is not resolved. Regret to inform I did not get a single reply or a phone call back from the general manager or any one else from that hotel. Thhe second part of this email is another email that I sent to general manager of Days Inn Lundy's lane Niagara Falls Canada explaining the events took place.

The gentleman who was attending to me said, he has to swipe my credit card before letting us view the room. I said ok. We went and looked at the room. We did not like it. So we went down immediately and spoke to the reception clerk. Handed over the access cards. I asked him to cancel my credit card approval. He said to call hotel.com. We did call. They asked if I have informed the hotel that we are not taking the room. I said yes. They said it will not be a problem. But now I see there is a charge to my credit card by your hotel.

Here are the events took place. This email was sent to General Manager on July 6th 2018. NO RESPONSE.

I left several msgs. But no one called me. Twice in my attempts to get in touch with GM Tania, I managed to spoke to her. Both times she promised to call me with in half an hour. But never returned my calls. Here are some events took place.

June 20th Sent my original email. There is no reply up until July 6th. (Today)

July 6th (Today) Called- She was not in. But spoke to Jenifer. She promised to follow up with GM by tomorrow July 7th.

July 4th - I called Tania. Managed to talk to her. She promised to call me back in half an hour once reviewed my email. Did not receive a call

June 25 called. She was not in. Reception took my information to pass on to Tania. Didn't get a call back-

June 26th - Re-sent my original email as you see below. Didn't get a call back.

June 21 - Called to follow up of my original email I sent on June 20th. Managed to talk to her. She promised to get back to me on June 25th. But didn't get back to me

As you can see there wasn't a single phone call returned to me nor reply to my emails. I would like to resolve this within your control rather than reaching out to corporate head office. I do work in a corporate environment and do know the impact if it reaches the top. But getting frustrated with no response.

Please consider this matter.

Days Inn filthy

I reserved a room on 7/13/18 it was the last room available. The bathroom was gross, the beds are old and hard and don't look as if the linens were changed. The "seasonal " pool was covered and had standing water on top of the cover. The grounds are full of weeds. The wallpaper is peeling off of the walls both in the bathroom and above the ac unit! Carpets need to be replaced! Nasty place to stay! Never again!

Days Inn uncleanliness and bugs

This was a Very nasty hotel bugs, mold and dust I didn't expect top notch but I thought I would've been better than this if I could give it less stars I would have this is and I do repeat the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at I do not recommend staying unless you are okay with staying In an unclean room there's dust that also looks like it's been sitting for years as well please look at the pictures I posted as well they are NOT recommended

Days Inn room

Days inn will never get my business again. I have never been in a more dirty, filthy trashy unsanitary hotel in my life which costed me $375 for two nights. My room phone did not have a cord connected to it. So I could not call front desk if I had any emergency to save my life. The walls were dirty, the towels were brown, the bathroom door had holes that was patched up, The face bowl sink did not have a stop or anything could have fell down the drain. The bath tub was dirty and filthy. There was hair on my sheets and pillowcases. The floor was dirty and had not been cleaned in a while. I use Clorox wipes to see how clean the floor was and it was ridiculously dirty. The holiday inn that I stayed in was at 135 miracle strip Fort Walton Florida room #217. I will never ever give my business to days in again after what I experienced this weekend which was supposed to be a nice vacation getaway that ended in a nightmare of not even wanting to go to sleep in the room. Days Inn unauthorized credit card charges

On my credit card (Visa) the 25th of May I have a bill of 162, 72$ from Days Inn Leamington, Ontario. I never made this reservation. I called Visa who connected me with Days Inn in Leamington. They said that they either never had my reservation. So, they asked me to send my bill. I proposed them to do it by fax. They gave me the number. I tried a few times and it was always busy. I write to you because I had another bad experience with them. I made a reservation May 15th and the same day I arrived there. The employee at the counter said yes, he had a reservation at my name but the price was much higher than I expected 230, 86$ including the taxes instead of 159$ without the taxes. I didn't bring my confirmation, so I let it go. The next day, another employee was there at the counter. I asked him how much it will cost if we stay another day. And then "surprise" just 159$ without the taxes of course. So, we took another room and we paid 181, 67$. Those two amounts have been paid on my previous bill.

Days Inn salisbury whynham days inn

My family and I stayed at this hotel from 7/6/18 - 7/7/18. Worst stay I've ever spent in a hotel. The website shows very clean rooms with flat screen tv. Not at all what we stayed in. The room was dated and dirty the table was barely standing, 1990's box tv and fuzzy screen, curtains were falling down, no towels, burn marks on both bed spreads in a non smoking room, you could actually see chlorine chunks floating in the pool. When I asked to be moved because of all the issues the staff was rude and of course said all the rooms were full, they were not, the four rooms right beside us were open all night and the following day. We had two rooms and my moms room was just as disappointing. We will never stay at that days inn or any other because of how we were treated there and how dirty and dated that place was.

Days Inn room111

Stayed at the Stone mountain Georgia, 30087 Days inn at 2006 Glenn club drive. Room was disgusting, one bed had FILTHY sheets that were something all on the sheets like food crumbs or something also stains on the sheets and they were all wrinkled ( not crisp like the other bed in the room) so you KNOW they weren't changed.
Fridge had old drinks and food in it that my little boy almost drank. Stayed in room 111. On 7/6/18.
I expect BETTER from y'all. We just spent a week in St Louis at a days inn and it was AMAZING! So we thought we would stay using your brand while we vacation this summer. Switched from doing business with the Hilton because of the excellence in St Louis.. Now we are switching back. I am very disappointed because your prices make for an exceptional value when on vacation like this with the family.
I wouldn't want ANYONE staying at this one in Stone mountain and WILL be sure to review it for folks to know. Alsi, the perk of a Continental breakfast service in St Louis was amazing, Stone mountain made you feel like you were at a gas station trying to choose some snack bar to eat... Not to mention it was also VERY sorry and messy in the room provided to eat in crate all over the place and just just cheap junk to choose from it is an insult and not a true perk. Stone mountain stay was a bust and we did not stay the next two nights like we wanted to. Also made it so bad we were then so tired from the uncomfortable sleeping arrangements that night that our day at Stone mountain park had to be cut short ... Just made our trip a terrible experience.. SUPER DISAPPOINTMENT and am going to let folks know. Scale from 1-10, I give the Stone mountain inn a -10. Not fit to be listed with trivago or anyone else for that matter. I certainly hope to hear from someone about this.

During my reservation I had asked for a nonsmoking room on an upper floor, away from traffic.
When I arrived, Nikki at the front desk gave me a smoking room, downstairs, right by the traffic with someone's luggage in the room.
By the time I came back from checking the room, Julie was at the desk. She looked up the system and gave me a nonsmoking room upstairs and clarified that all the rooms on the backside of the hotel are smoking. I had to take the room. The room had the following issues:
1 It smelled of mildew, lots of flying insects and spiders.
2 Worn out chair, broken dresser, dusty surfaces, some lights were on. The room had not been serviced. It was missing all towels, toilet paper, soap and whatever else goes with it. Julie explained that they were short on staff and asked me if I wanted the room.
3 Julie won't give me extra towels to clean the surfaces - policy!
4 The path to the room is through a narrow hallway that connects the two long wings of the hotel. It had rained hard and it was pouring through the ceiling. There was no way to walk through the puddle of water on the floor, without getting wet from what was pouring from the ceiling.
5 The shower had barely warm to warmer water, the bathtub missing few tiles and smelled even stronger of the mold. The mold and scum kept falling into the tub and washed under my feet. No ventilation to speak of.
6 You are asking me how likely I am to stay there just as I am researching dept. of health to report the spewing mildew in the shower.
7 Only some of these could be reported on the website, in the character limited space.
I believe you should refund my charges.

Days Inn hotel stay

You should be ashamed to have your name associated with the Seaside heights location. It is falling apart and filthy. I fell and busted my knee because the floor in the room was broken. I went to the front desk and no one waa there. I tried going back to the front desk when i left and still no one waa there. I hung a towel on the towel rack in the bathroom and the rack fell off the wall. I went to use a towel and it was filled with other peoplea hair and lipstick. I asked for new towels and was advised that they didn't have any and that they would have do drive to get some. I went back down hours later and got clean towels and 2 out of 3 had hair on them still. The rub was covered with mold and dirt. The door waa so damaged moths were coming in from out side. There were holes in the wall

Days Inn $100.00 deposit they kept because we didn't pick it up by 11am

We stayed July 3rd 2018 and pd with credit card and then was asked fpr $100 cash deposit. We then checked out late at noon becuz my boyfriend who was stuck in traffic couldnt get here to have them run the card for another night.
They would not take it over the phone until he arrived at 1230. They had all info and instead of being polite and waiting until 1230 to get the actual card they thre me out without a ride and all the bags.
In the mean time they also were holding a $100 c ash deposit
.
They refused to then give our depoisit back.

What a scam they could of ran the card or used the cash for payment for a hour and a half. They stole our money.

Its funny how i can pay on line with a credit card and they hold it until they get actual card.

They stole $100.00 from us and completely embarrassed us to steal $100.

I travel all the time and have other people in my company travel too.

I have never been so mistreated and embarrassed in my 54 yrs of life.

This is biggest scam i have ever encountered
In my travel carrer.

I worked for continental airlines for over 10yrs and traveled every where in the world and never ever been treated this way.

Days Inn room and cleanliness and failure to respond.

i have a few question on my resent stay at Days Inn and booking with expedia ... How do i get a refund for the horrid room and service i received. i stayed May 26th 2018 to may 27th 2018 just one night in what i thought i was getting a suite but instead i got a murder seen it was so gross i had to buy clean items just to stay in room 2206. because Days Inn wouldn't give me a refund they said i must contact expedia and i have with no answers. i have pictures of the room broken furniture and just nasty booger on the wall and hair everywhere and the floor was so gross. please contact me asap thank you

Days Inn customer service from front desk

On June 10, 2018, we checked into Days Inn SOUTH in Atlanta, GA AT 1540 Phoenix Blvd, College Park, because we needed Shuttle service to the airport and had enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn at Hilton Head. Mike (African American) did a fantastic job at the front desk, both in person and by phone. He personally came up and removed a huge roach on the wall and apologized for this unusual issue. When the toilet stopped up however, Housekeeping attempted to hand the plunger to ME, the customer - and I refused it, directing him to the bathroom and he reluctantly resolved the issue.

On June 25th, - thanks to Mikes good service, we decided to return to Days Inn SOUTH but a different room...but unfortunately Mike was not on duty. My daughter and I checked in around 3pm, awaiting my wife's 10pm flight. AGAIN the toilet stopped up (different family member) and I called the front desk...phone rang and rang but no answer. After several tries, I left the phone off the hook ringing and walked to the front desk. The same African American man who checked us in was sitting at the Desk (not Mike, did not get this one's name, but he was on duty at 7:30pm, 6/25/18), and I said "Don't you answer the phone?". He looked at the phone board, hit a button (silencer?) and THEN I heard "my" phone ringing! "Oh - is that you?" he said - with not the slightest care whatsoever.

I informed him about the toilet and he said no one was available. I told him Someone had to take care of it...he looked right at me and said "I don't plunge toilets." I responded: "Well I'm the CUSTOMER and I'm not doing it." He shrugged this off. I said "We need a toilet - give us a different room." He REFUSED - did not even bother to see which rooms were available and did NOT say the hotel was full - and obvious signs said it wasn't. He said he would get ME a plunger. I responded: "If I am the one to plunge the toilet, I'm filing a complaint". He shrugged this off and got me the plunger.

At about 12:15am, in disgust, we checked out driving 2 1/2 hours home and didn't even bother to stay and get our money's worth. Bottom line: Mike should be recognized for his excellent service; the second man should be fired immediately for his lazy, indifferent service.

Days Inn cleaning crew

Incident: Checked into the Robinson Days Inn Hotel in Waco, Texas on 21 June 2018 after our Department of Defense (military) agency had already booked our reservation at Hotel Days Inn Waco on 1504 I-35 North, Waco, Texas. However, we cancled our reservation at Hotel Days Inn Waco on 1504 I-35 North, Waco, Texas because the reception lady claimed all she had was smoking rooms. Which was sort of funny because Texas law states there is not smoking allowed in the rooms. Once getting to the Robinson Day Hotel the room that was issued to me also had a sign stating on smoking at the door by the room number. As soon as I walked in the room smelled like it had been smoked in. On top of that I noticed the toilet was dirty, the bathroom floor was dirty, the entrance room floor was dirty, and sofa in the room was all stained. The room was just plain dirty. I did not say anything as for this just seemed the norm for the Days Inn Hotels. Left to work on the 22 June came back only thing they did was take the trash out. On the 23rd before doing to work I wrote a letter left it where it could be seen and that afternoon I came back and nothing was done or corrected. I called the front desk and expressed my concerns and asked how often are the rooms cleaned she stated daily and mentioned that she would send someone up to address the situation. The individual that was sent up was someone that was sitting at the lobby when we had returned to the hotel watching tv. He came to the room with a toilet brush and cleaner. The individual used the toilet brush to brush the toilet which had ([censored]) splashed on it from before I had checked in which is how I knew it was dirty and also to brush the dirty nasty floor and wipped it with a towel he grabbed from the room. Not once did he sweep it or mop it nor did he do the entrance. The individuals that clean these rooms in reality are getting paid to do something that is really not happening or getting done. This hotel does not even get a (1) start from me. Not to mention I have been trying since last week to get them to email me a "zero balanced" receipt from my stay there since the one that was given had a balance due and in order to get refunded for my stay by my agency I have to provide a zero balanced receipt. The lady I spoke with last week twiced stated she would send the receipt via email (never done). Monday 2July2018 I called again the lady was apparently off and the gentlemen that answered basically stated that he did not know how to do it and that he was getting off a 12 hour shift and had other things to do and for me to call back tomorrow when the lady would be back. If I was not able to get anyone to help me to then request to speak to someone by the name of Ricky. Seems sort of weird that something as simple as a zeroed out receipt cannot be provided by the staff that are working the front desk. Then when I tried to call the Days Inn Headquaters I was directed to call the customer service number and the lady I spoke there stated that basically she could not help either and that this had to be done through the hotel.

Days Inn days inn, cullman, alabama exit 308 off interstate 65

My wife and I reserved a night stay at your motel off Interstate 65 Friday June 29th, when we arrived police and ambulances were everywhere around our room. The manager was trying to check people in with power outages. When we got our room, we found it to be the worst room we have ever been in. The smoke detector was wired to a ceiling light with wires outside the wall. The room had foul odor, the sheets had stains on them and the room just looked run down. If we were not there to meet family from up north to pick up our granddaughter we would have checked out. It was late so we slept in the awful beds with out clothes on. When we got up we did not shower and just left. Your company should be ashamed of this motel and how it is run. AND we paid over $ 70 for this crap. I doubt if you or Booking.com will do anything about my complaint and just continue ripping people off.

Days Inn stay

I have attached photos of the room that I stayed in on June 2, 2018. The rate for this room 82.95 + 17.45 tax. This was the worst hotel room that I have ever stayed in or seen. For what was provided as a room, this was way out of line for a price. This looked like something you would expect from flea bag type of hotel and not a National Chain. I was in town for the NCAA Baseball Regional, being held in Athens. There was a hole in the wall, bathroom door didn't shut, wallpaper coming off and what appeared to be a blunt on the back of the toilet.

on 6/17/18 i darrell gilbert was severely burned while attempting to refuel a pressure washing machine. while pouring gasoline in the tank the flex nozzle on the can broke off pouring gas on the machine an myself.the gas ignited an burned my upper left hand with 2nd degree burns.itried resolving this matter with owner operator deven jadav.unsuccessfully.im now more than 2200$ in debt with both st.chritus hospital located in port arthur texas and acadian general hospital in crowley la.both of which treated me for the burn injuries sustained on the said properties an im demanded to be compensated for both the hospital bill be paid aswell myself for the pains endured using a defected gas can given to myself by the said party.

Days Inn room

We stayed at days inn Ormond Beach Fl. The first room the key didn't work after being given two different ones after the second key the third key worked. Once in the room there was hair all over the tub and mold on the curtains. We moved to another rom it had carpet and smelled horrible the carpet was filthy. We moved to another room and it was hair in that tub as well and it was dryed blood on the first bed so we slept in the other one. I went and purchased bleach, Lysol and glade air freshener. I was disgusting! The pictures online look nothing like the hotel in person.

Days Inn your facility

After a quite unbelievably terrible experience at the beginning of our arrival it became worse. Even though the reservation was confirmed and checked by the manager on duty when we arrived it became evident that no one in the facility knew their role accept for a young man that helped get the t.V. Operational.

Let me star by saying we gave all the considerations in the world for problems, this was just lack of ability or absolutely no help what so ever of wyndam to help keep their properties in good order.
My wife and I were exposed to black mold in the second room provided which was what I had paid for. The first which was a king smoking room which was dirty beyond acceptable means. I found this to be very surprising based on how many house maids were present this morning after our supposed wake up call was never called in and the 7am call we were supposed to receive from your customer service department to try and remedy this vulgar and intentional lack of customer satisfaction. I am a certified o.S. H.A. Inspector, if I had been working at the time I would immediately called in a hazmat team and shut your facility down umtil further notice while that property was either cleared by environmental or torn down because of the overall condition and experience your facility provided.

All surfaces covered in either dirt dust or both not to mention the objects stuck to the surfaces and the human remains to hygiene that were everywhere, toenails, hair, etc. Then there was the fly and mosquito issue, when I located the source there was nothing to be done due to the fact of an open access from the outside next to the room a/c unit into the room. With respect to your supplied televisions, it took around an hour to first get it to work and then had to wait for a remote for that particular model. I called customer service after having no luck at the facility to remedy the problems that were becoming more and more prevalent. We decided to try to relax by the pool. No lights, dirty beyond belief not just the condition of the water itself but the overall area, dirty littered with trash, cigarettes and god knows what else. Children under the age of 7 in the hottub, no towels, the manager stated they didnt gave any and not to use the room towels because they would run out. The wifi internet would not function for whatever reason, the simplest being they don't have a big enough capacity to use it with that many people using it at the same time. When I finally did get in touch with your customer service person she made me feel as if this was an inconvenience to her as well as the company, listen to that recording if you dont understand the gravity of this complaint. Again, black mold hanging from the bathroom ceiling, used razors on top of light fixtures, used condoms under the bed edges. And I still cant figure out how it could be so filthy with that many maids. The morning manager was more involved in there morning hellos to the cleaning people than customers who paid $60 to sleep in a place that might as well be condemned. I have waited patiently to speak to someone. I have given my phone number [protected] to your representatives 3 seperate times and have yet to receive a single call. I will say without hesitation that unless the establishment either calls or texts me with some sort of resolution to fix this I will without any remorse whatsoever have a team sent there asap to document and fine wyndam and its associates for outright negligence regarding personal health and well being of its customers. The ability for an organization of your size to blatantly disregard the comfort and well being of its customers is beyond my comprehension. I travel 75% of the time and this facility is by far one of the worst kept hotels I have ever stayed at.
Again, if it is possible for you to listen to the call to your customer service rep and her inability to do anything let alone forward the message to the proper individuals to call me at 7am you should understand. If they did attempt to make the call, I did not revive one or a text or an email. I know you have all that information because before I could even reserve the room I was forced to listen to a deals pitch for your rewards program and some kind of easy check in system. Maybe you should concentrate on making your facilities inhabitable and has enough towels before you start taking there money based on lies and deception. I have a complete video of the evening including the front desk issue, the t.V. Remote problem, the phone with no buttons to use it problem, the refrigerator with standing water inside, the mushooms growing out of the ceiling in the shower where water from the above room is leaking through also on film into the shower I am in.
I will say without any remorse whatsoever that not even a 100% refund of my money wouldn't even begin to satisfy my level of dissatisfaction with wyndam right now. We were expecting what we normally receive from the same company that services our time shares to provide a similar experience. Maybe we should have stayed at a better wyndam facility but that was not offered after the initial screwup at the desk. Instead of changing rooms twice and people knocking on doors soliciting prostitution or buying of food, wyndam should have stepped up to to the plate and seperated themselves from such an embarrassment to you.
At this point my entire weekend is a bust because we couldnt even find an available room after that. So, $325 later (this is the amount spent in lieu of staying at your establishment) I am still wating for a rep to call. I have sent the facility a letter also to the corporate office. I won't hold my breath.
