I find that to be interesting. Maybe you shouldn't have pried so much into coworkers personal issues. Even if it was just passive eavesdropping, you obviously said something to the wrong person and it blew up in your face. Perhaps your next job you will learn to mind your business and complete the job tasks for the day and collect a steady check. This might come off as rude, but it is the reality of it all.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I used to work at Daymar. I was in an administrative position and was fired because I questioned why some students were getting free classes (and failing those classes) and other students had to pay for classes. Also, any time a student called the CRC to complain, I was given a directive and was made to follow through. I questioned it every time. Slowly, the returned emails stopped being sent, the support from the CRC completely stopped and one day, I was terminated, for no reason. I worked 60+ hours a week and on the weekends and for the first time in the history of the campus, morale was at an all-time high...then in one rash decision from the CRC, everything I worked so hard for, was gone and it was back to the same old thing...student complains, student gets what he/she wants...with no questions asked. That is why they are in lawsuits. Bad business by bad business owner!
Daymar College employs felons, people with few scruples, con artists and unqualified instructors. The few honest ones don't have to go looking for the dirt. It is in your face. They target the ones that are there for the right reasons and that are honest. They are definitely there to "collect a steady check" as mentioned above and willing to do whatever dirty work needed to get it. That is why there is a big stinking lawsuit going on. The students found out and fought back on all the deceit and fraud they were subjected to. Hope it puts them where they should be-----out of business.
The employment opportunity page on Daymar's website is grossly out of date. If they are actively seeking quality instructors, etc., shouldn't it be updated? Their HR person is sleeping on the job!
Daymar College is a GREAT place to work. Maybe if this person spent more time doing their job instead of meddling in other people's business they wouldn't have gotten fired.
